This study analyzed the process of information service and its factors in the cognitive viewpoint. And developed a conceptual model to help in developing future information systems and services. The results of this study were summarized as follows : 1) The paradigm of information user study is changing from the system-centered to the user-centered one. 2) The researchers describe the user's internal cognitive process as the starting point of the information service. 3) The user's personal cognitive process influence the process of the information service over. And the focus is a microscopic one including the factors of the perception and recognition of the stimulus, remembering and searching information, reasoning the rules, recognition of the patterns, formalization of the concepts, etc. 4) The information librarian performs the role as a knowledge/ information system interface, and his knowledge structure reflects the organization of that knowledge/information system. 5) The information librarians can perform their role as information specialists actively and offensively. And the performance of the librarians can be measured on the scales of the su n.0, pplying capability of relevant information and the client satisfaction.

The purpose of this study was to explore new fisheries-related jobs in the future. The study is based on a thorough literature review and in-depth interviews with experts in the fisheries industry. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, new fisheries-related jobs that surpass the fitness rating of 90% and earn more than 3 on the prospect scale are expected to be found mostly in professional fishery sectors. In the production and processing sectors, fishery quality control manager, marine product cooks, and raw fish cooks looked most promising. In the fishery marketing and distribution section, on the other hand, marine tour consultants, marine product distribution consultants, underwater guides, online marine product traders, marine sports consultants, and marine safety specialists ranked high on the list.

New curriculum for information and library science is proposed on the notion of the internship and scholarly characteristics. The future of the information and library science is expected as the discipline to synthesize the natural science and the social science. Especially the internship is strongly suggested as the post graduate program. To draw the conclusion. the history of the information and library science and its educational background are analyzed. The states of the historical developments of the information and library science are explained in terms of philosophy. The functional and scholarly environments of the information and library science are also investigated. Secondarily it concludes that the curriculum development for information and library science is not aimed on the skills but on the phenomena.

The purpose of this study is to use system dynamics to establish the relation among each variable through the construction process of Community Planning Model, and examine what changes policy scenarios per alternative cause in Community Planning through policy simulation of the constructed model. Therefore, this study extracted chief variables of Community Planning Projects through precedent researches related to Community Planning, and extracted variables were prepared as causal map to examine in what causal cycle feedback structure within Community Planning they can be explained. Next, Community Planning Model was constructed based on the prepared causal map. The model was verified by specialists' interviews and simulation of example areas. This study, which aimed to construct Community Planning Model using system dynamics, has a significance in that it prepared the foundation to provide useful methodology in monitoring the progress of project or establishing the plan of future Community Planning Projects.

The Purpose of this study was to identify the dimensions and pattern types for the perception of Korean traditional food and to find the determinants of the pattern types, taking food cultural background into account. Data were factor and cluster analyzed, and the results revealed two different dimensions and pattern types. Descriptive statistics showed that perceptional pattern types, i.e., traditional-modern pattern and tradition-oriented pattern, are likely to vary depending on socio-demographic and cultural background of Korean traditional food in Korea. Similarities and differences in perceptional pattern types are discussed, and future implications for food and nutrition specialists and food marketers are provided.

This paper on the status of radiotherapy machine and related facilities, clinical activities and radiation safety management is based on the statistical data which collected through the questionaire sent to a total number of 37 hospitals holding the Department of Therapeutic Radiology in Korea. It is true that the quality of instruments installed in the hospitals equal to that of the instrument in the industrialized conuntries' hospitals. But the clinical specialists and physicists who can utilize such instruments fall short of the required number, which might be a main factor in hindering the development of therapeutic radiology of Korea. According to the nation-wide cancer statistics, we can estimate the number of annual cancer patients as 45,000 to 50,000. As a result, probably around 25,000 should receive radiation therapy. It is expected that in the future the number of cancer patients to whom radiation therapy should be applied will become twice as much as that of the cancer patients in 1990. Given such a condition, the problem facing the Korean Society of Therapeutic Radiology now is to increase the number of medical doctors and physicists.

Background: The reaction of nurses to the advent of artificial intelligence (AI) during the fourth industrial revolution era remains questionable. Understanding Florence Nightingale's achievements may provide valuable lessons that will be helpful to contemporary nurses. Aims: To understand Nightingale's nursing philosophy and methods and provide suggestions for future nursing practice, education, research, and health policy. Source of evidence: Literature. Discussion/Conclusion: Just as Nightingale captured the situation of her time and introduced latest scientific methods, modern nurses need to learn from Nightingale's drastic actions to meet social needs. Nursing can regain a solid humanistic foundation by returning to core values of nursing and humanities, while simultaneously adopting state-of-the-art technologies. Implications for Nursing Policy: AI-driven technologies will advance nursing services and provide greater human-centered and personalized care by eliminating iterative and labor-intensive tasks. Nursing educational policy should support the advancement of nursing curricula to develop AI competencies and specialists within the nursing field.

As the paradigm of fashion retail industry moves rapidly to the multi-channel, the role of shop master has changed as well. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine in-depth the changing role of shop masters in multi-channel retail paradigms. In-depth interviews were conducted, and all interviews were recorded with permission. Seven shop masters participated in in-depth interviews. All of them were sales specialists, with more than 10 years working experience, at department stores. Results of this study are as follow: First, the roles of a multi-channel shop master include store management, management of sales associates, customer relationship management, and management in relation to the headquarters and suppliers. Second, the most important competencies of shop masters are to forecast future demand, establish information networks, communicate well with others, and create a work environment resulting in higher productivity.

Recently a lot of changes take place in the field of architecture. Among them the preparation for architectural accrediting program and qualifying examination system for the registered architects are remarkable. The aim of this study is to inspect carefully the changes of qualifying examination system for the registered architects since 2001 and to recognize how to research consistently for the future. Especially passing system classified by subjects begins in 2005 influenced by U.S.A. and many specialists concerned have made effort to erect more objective and fair standards. It is also necessary to conduct the differentiated researches on the exams system & the criteria of questions for exams because the candidates completed the architectural accrediting program will take the first exams in 2010. To do this, the importance is that we have to understand a series of continuity such as education-training-examination and to establish the closer relationship between educational curriculum for the students and qualifying examination for the registered architects.
