The present study deals with an approximate integral equation approach to finite deflection of elastic plates with arbitrary plane form. An integral formulation leads to a system of boundary integral equations involving values of deflection, slope, bending moment and transverse shear force along the edge. The basic principles of the development of boundary element technique are reviewed. A computer program for solving for stresses and deflections in a isotropic, homogeneous, linear and elastic bending plate is developed. The fundamental solution of deflection and moment is employed in this program. The deflections and moments are assumed constant within the quadrilateral element. Numerical solutions for sample problems, obtained by the direct boundary element method, are presented and results are compared with known solutions.
In this paper, we define conditional integrals on abstract Wiener and Hilbert spaces and then obtain a formula for evaluating the integrals. We use this formula to establish the existence of conditional Feynman integrals for the classes $A^{q}$(B) and $A^{q}$(H) of functions on abstract Wiener and Hilbert spaces and then specialize this result to provide the fundamental solution to the Schrodinger equation with the forced harmonic oscillator.tor.
The isoparametric element method is used for a plate on non-homogenous foundation. The surface displacement due to a point force acting on the non-homogeneous foundation is the fundamental solution. Based on this analysis, the interaction between the foundation and plate can be determined and the reaction of the foundation can be treated as the external force to the plate. Therefore, only the plate needs to be divided into some elements. The method presented in this paper can be used in cases such as thin or thick plate, different plate shapes, various loading, homogenous and non-homogenous foundations. The examples in this paper show that this method is versatile, efficient and highly accurate.

The site effects of local geological conditions on seismic ground motion are performed using 2D numerical method. For the analysis, a numerical method far ground response analysis using FE-BE coupling method is developed. The total system is divided into two parts so called far field and near field. The far field is modeled by boundary element formulation using the multi-layered dynamic fundamental solution that satisfied radiational condition of wave. And this is coupled with near field modeled by finite elements. In order to verify the seismic response analysis, the results are compared with those of commercial code. As a result, it is shown that the developed method can be an efficient numerical method to solve the seismic response analysis of the site effect in 2D problem.
The purpose of this study is to propose new estimation method of unit cement content in hardened concrete. In general, the quantity of cement in hardened concrete is tested by hydrochlonic acid dissolving cement paste, however, hydrochloric acid dissolves sea shell contained in sea sand and lime stone in concrete. Therefore, the tested cement content is apt to estimate greater than actual cement content. The sodium gluconate solution dissolves only cement in concrete, it is hard to dissolve sea shell and lime stone as CaCo3. The effects of the quantity, concentration and temperature of sodium gluconate solution, the ignition temperature, the ignition loss of cement on the cement content and the percentage of dissolution of cement were investigated to establish a test method. From the results of these tests, the fundamental test method for cement content of hardened concrete by sodium gluconate is proposed.
In this research, a newly developed nature-inspired optimization method, the Lion Pride Optimization algorithm (LPOA), is utilized for optimal design of composite steel box girder bridges. A composite box girder bridge is one of the common types of bridges used for medium spans due to their economic, aesthetic, and structural benefits. The aim of the present optimization procedure is to provide a feasible set of design variables in order to minimize the weight of the steel trapezoidal box girders. The solution space is delimited by different types of design constraints specified by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. Additionally, the optimal solution obtained by LPOA is compared to the results of other well-established meta-heuristic algorithms, namely Gray Wolf Optimization (GWO), Ant Lion Optimizer (ALO) and the results of former researches. By this comparison the capability of the LPOA in optimal design of composite steel box girder bridges is demonstrated.
The purpose of this study is to research the fundamental cause of psychological stress and healing elements related to the waterscape design of contemporary architecture. As one of the solution, analysis of the psychological function of waterscape of natural elements in composition of architectural space was included. This study is focused on the form and psychological function of waterscape, and concerned with the cause of psychological stress at the same time. Also, this study includes analyzed cased with both inside and outside of contemporary architecture. The result will show that the waterscape will be useful solution for healing of fundamental cause of psychological stress with sixteen psychological healing elements through compositional elements of waterscape.
We show that $\frac{{\partial}x}{{\partial}{\gamma}}(t,{\tau},{\gamma},{\lambda},{\varepsilon})$ is a fundamental matrix of the variational system $\dot{y}=fx(t,x(t,{\tau},{\gamma},{\lambda},{\varepsilon}),{\lambda},{\varepsilon})y$ corresponding to the solution $x(t,{\tau},{\gamma},{\lambda},{\varepsilon})$ of $\dot{x}=f(t,x,{\lambda},{\varepsilon})$.
We investigate the representation of the solution of discrete linear Volterra difference systems by means of the resolvent matrix and fundamental matrix, respectively, and then study the boundedness of the solutions of discrete Volterra systems by improving the assumptions and the proofs of Medina#s results in [6].
