This study used text mining to analyze big data to understand consumers' demand for and perceptions of fashion masks. Based on the text-mining analysis results, a survey was conducted with those living in Korea to investigate the influence of consumers' mask selection criteria on mask brand awareness and purchase intention for fashion masks. "Fashion mask" and "functional mask" were used as the keywords in a text-mining analysis, and an online survey of 242 respondents was conducted. The analysis results were as follows: First, the text-mining analysis extracted commonly appearing words that had a high frequency and TF-IDF, such as "COVID-19," "fashion," "celebrity," "antibacterial," and "filter." This confirmed that during the COVID-19 pandemic, consumers have demanded masks that are both functional and fashionable. Second, among consumers' mask selection criteria, trend and design had positive effects on face-mask brand awareness. Third, face-mask brand awareness had a positive effect on the purchase intention for both brand and fashion masks, and the purchase intention for brand masks had a positive effect on the purchase intention for fashion masks.

Waterborne polyurethane-acrylate(WPUA) dispersions were prepared by surfactant-free emulsion polymerization in a two-step process. In the first step, polytetrahydrofuran, isophorone diisocyanate, dimethylol proponic acid, and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate were used to synthesize a vinyl-terminated polyurethane prepolymer. In the second step, styrene, methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, and different multi-functional crosslinkers were copolymerized. 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate, trimethylolpropane triacrylate, and pentaerythritol tetraacrylate were used as the crosslinkers, and their effect on the mechanical and thermal properties of WPUA was investigated. Overall, as the number of functional groups of the cross-linker increased, the gel fraction improved to 79.26%, the particle size increased from 75.9 nm to 148.7 nm, and the tensile strength was improved from 5.86 MPa to 12.40 MPa. In thermal properties, the glass transition temperature and decomposition temperature increased by 9.9℃ and 18℃, respectively. The chemical structures of the WPUA dispersions were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. The synthesized WPUA has high potential for applications such as coatings, leather coatings, adhesives, and wood finishing.

This paper aims to investigate the free vibration analysis of FG plates, taking into account the effects of even and uneven porosity. The study employs the Hellinger-Reisner functional and obtains the element's bending stress and membrane stress fields from the analytical solution of the governing equations of the thick plate and plane problem, respectively. The displacement field serves as the second independent field. While few articles on free vibration analysis of circular plates exist, this paper investigates the free vibration of both rectangular and circular plates. After validating the proposed element, the paper investigates the effects of porosity distributions on the natural frequency of the FG porous plate. The study calculates the natural frequency of thin and thick bending plates with different aspect ratios and support conditions for various porosity and volume fraction index values. The study uses three types of porosity distributions, X, V, and O, for the uneven porosity distribution case. For O and V porosity distribution modes, porosity has a minor effect on the natural frequency for both circular and rectangular plates. However, in the case of even porosity distribution or X porosity distribution, the effect of porosity on the natural frequency of circular and rectangular plates increases with an increase in the volume fraction index.

We report the reorganization of motor network resulted from intensive unilateral coordination training and the effect of cross education on the untrained side in patient with traumatic brain injury using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). A 22 year-old male patient who had suffered from diffuse axonal injury for 58 months showed coordination deficit in the left hand at initial examination. Intensive motor training including complex finger movements and coordination activities using a metronome was introduced to the patient 4 hours per day for a week. FMRI was performed on a 3T ISOL Forte scanner. All functional images were analyzed using SPM-99 software. Hand function was improved after training not only in the trained left hand, but also in the untrained right hand. There was no activation in the right primary motor area (M1) during left hand movement before training whereas robust activation of left M1 was demonstrated by the right hand movement. Profuse activation of bilateral prefrontal lobes was seen during both hand movements before training. After training of left hand, right M1 became prominently activated during the left hand motion. The activation of bilateral prefrontal lobes disappeared after training not only for the left hand movement but also for the right, which clearly demonstrated the effect of cross education. This case report demonstrated the learning-dependent reorganization of the M1 and the effect of cross education.

본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 생태관광에 대한 가치인식이 행동의도 및 만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인식적 가치, 감정적 가치, 기능적 가치의 모든 생태관광 가치 인식 요인은 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인식적 가치, 감정적 가치, 기능적 가치의 모든 생태관광 인식요인은 행동의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 생태관광에 대한 인식이 높을수록 생태관광 만족도와 행동의도가 높아지는 것을 알 수 있었으나, 서비스 및 품질, 프로그램 등으로 이루어진 기능적 가치는 다른 요인에 비해 상대적으로 영향을 적게 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 생태관광 상품 만족도 및 행동의도에 영향을 미치는 각각의 생태관광 가치인식 요소에 대해 대응할 수 있는 접근성 높은 주말상품 개발, 지속가능한 간광상품개발 등 다양한 마케팅 전략과 교육프로그램 등이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this work is to investigate the surface modification of LDPE film via corona discharge treatment and subsequent graft polymerization, and their effect on the resulting dyeability is studied in terms of the surface functional groups, surface energetics, and acid-base interaction between the modified LDPE and the dyes used.

TLCP/polyester composite fibers (TPCFs) based on melt blends of PEN, PET, and TLCP were prepared by melt blending and spinning process to achieve high performance fibers. Reinforcement effect and TLCP fibrillar structure resulted in improvement of mechanical properties for TPCFs. The increase in the apparent crystallite size was attributed to the development of larger crystallites and more ordered crystalline structures in the annealed TPCFs. Molecular orientation was an important factor to determine mechanical property of TPCFs.

We propose a nonparametric test procedure for checking the proportionality assumption between hazard functions using a functional equation. Because of the involvement of censoring distribution function, we consider the large sample case only and obtain the asymptotic normality of the proposeed test statistic. Then we discuss the rationale of the use of the functional equation, give some examples and compare the performances with Andersen's procedure by computing powers through simulations.

Multithreading is attractive in that it can tolerate memory latency and synchronization by effectively overlapping communication with computation. While several compiler techniques have been developed to produce multithreaded codes from functional languages programs, there still remains a lot of works to implement loops effectively. Executing lops in a style of multithreading usually causes some overheads, which can reduce severely the effect of multirheading. This paper suggests several methods in terms of architectures or compilers which can optimize loop execution by multithreading. We then simulate and analyze them for the matrix multiplication program.
