대학생활 특성이 대학 신입생의 우울, 불안 및 신체증상에 미치는 영향 (Effects of College Life Characteristics on Depression, Anxiety, and Somatic Symptoms among Freshmen)

  • 본 연구는 대학 신입생들의 우울, 불안 및 신체증상에 대한 확인과 이에 영향을 미치는 대학생활 특성을 규명하기 위한 목적으로 시행된 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구는 H대학에 진학 중인 300명의 대학 신입생들을 대상으로 2013년 4월 22일부터 26일까지 구조화된 질문지를 이용하여 진행되었으며, 수집된 자료는 t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regression을 통해 분석되었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 점수가능범위 1~5점 중 우울 2.33점, 불안 1.94점, 신체건강 1.63점으로 나타났으며, 여학생일수록, 지각된 자아존중감이 낮을수록 우울, 불안, 그리고 신체증상 점수가 높았다. 둘째, 대학생활 특성은 우울을 46.1%, 불안을 26.3% 설명하고 있었으며, 대학생활 특성과 우울 및 불안은 신체건강을 35.8% 설명하고 있었다. 본 연구 결과가 대학 신입생들의 정신 및 신체건강의 중요성에 대한 이해를 높일뿐만 아니라, 우울, 불안, 신체증상으로 인한 건강문제 발생을 예측하고 효율적으로 관리하여 이들의 대학생활 적응을 돕는 중재 프로그램 개발에 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

환경교육과 신입생의 입학 동기 및 환경에 대한 인식 변화 - 한국교원대학교 신입생을 대상으로 - (Matriculation Motive and Environmental Awareness of Freshman in Environmental Education Department)

  • The purpose of this research is to study motivation of freshmen in Environmental Education Department for choosing their major, and their environmental awareness in overall. The subject for this research is twenty freshmen, majoring Environmental Education at Korea National University of Education in 2007, and methods of the research include survey through questionnaires, reviewing literature of the field, and conference with experts in Environmental Education. After the research, six freshmen's motivation for choosing Environmental Education as their major changed positively. Awareness of the environment in residential area changed somewhat negatively, while awareness of the nation's overall environment changed positively. Subjects' recognition for the need of Environmental Education was generally negative in both the first and second surveys whereas that of sustainable society changed more remarkably throughout the surveys. Most subject thought that the most important issue Environmental teachers should teach is proper attitudes towards and reasonable actions for the environment.

중위권 공과대학 신입생들의 수학적 성향의 변화 분석 (An analysis of the change in mathematical inclination of middle level engineering college freshmen)

  • 최근 우리나라 수학교육에 있어서 정의적 영역이 강조되고 있는데, 특히 수학 학업성취도와 관련하여 수학적 성향이 중요시되고 있다. 한편 우리나라 교육과정은 자주 바뀌었는데, 7차 교육과정에서 인문계는 미적분을 배우지 않았으나 2007 개정 교육과정에서는 인문계도 미적분을 배웠다. 본 연구에서는 D대학교 공과대학에 입학한 7차 교육과정 세대인 2011년과 2007 개정 교육과정 세대인 2015년 신입생들을 대상으로 수학적 성향의 변화를 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 수학적 성향 검사를 실시하였고, 학생들의 수학적 배경 및 대학수학에 대한 학습목표를 설문하였으며 수학기초학력을 평가하여 고등학교 계열별, 대학수학능력시험 수학 영역 유형별, 대학수학 학습목표별, 수학기초학력별로 2011년과 2015년 수학적 성향의 각 요인의 변화를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 2011년과 2015년 학생들 사이에는 자신감, 융통성, 의지력, 호기심, 가치, 심미성 등 수학적 성향에서 많은 차이를 보였다.

비대면 상황에서 신입생 대학생활적응을 위한 3차원 가상현실 캠퍼스 투어시스템 개발연구 - 시야초점의 움직임을 활용한 캠퍼스주변 환경의 자유로운 이동과 대학정보안내화면 GUI설계 - (A Study on the Development of 3D Virtual Reality Campus Tour System for the Adaptation of University Life to Freshmen in Non-face-to-face Situation - Autonomous Operation of Campus Surrounding Environment and University Information Guide Screen Design Using Visual Focus Movement -)

  • This study aims to establish a foundation for autonomous driving on campus and communication of abundant university information in the HCI environment in a VR environment where college freshmen can freely travel around campus facilities. The purpose of this study is to develop a three-dimensional VR-style campus tour system to establish a media environment to provide abundant university information guidance services to freshmen in non-face-to-face situations. This study designed a three-dimensional virtual reality campus tour system to solve the problem of discontinuity in which VR360 filming space does not lead to space like reality, and to solve many problems of expertise in VR technology by constructing an integrated production environment of tour system. We aim to solve the problem of inefficiency, which requires a large amount of momentum in virtual space, by constructing a GUI that utilizes the motion of the field of view focus. The campus environment was designed as a three-dimensional virtual reality using a three-dimensional graphic design. In non-face-to-face situations, college freshmen freely transformed the HMD VR device, smartphone, FPS operation mode of the gyroscope sensor. The design elements of the three-dimensional virtual reality campus tour system were classified as ①Visualization of factual experiences, ②Continuity of space movement, ③Operation, automatic operation mode, ④Natural landscape animation, ⑤Animation according to wind direction, ⑥Actual space movement mode, ⑦Informatization of spatial understanding, ⑧GUI by experience environment, ⑨Text GUI by building, ⑩VR360, 3D360 Studio Environment, ⑪Three-dimensional virtual space coupling block module, ⑫3D360-3D Virtual Space Transmedia Zone, ⑬Transformable GUI(VR Device Dual Viewer-Gyro Sensor Full Viewer-FPS Operation Viewer) and an integrated production environment was established with each element. It is launched online (http://vautu.com/u1) by constructing a GUI for free driving mode and college information screens to adapt to college life for freshmen, and designing an environment that can be used simultaneously by current media such as PCs, Android, and iPads. Therefore, it conducted user research, held a development presentation, a forum on excellence in university innovation support projects, and applied it as a system on the website of a particular university. College freshmen will be able to experience university information directly from the web and app to the virtual reality campus environment.

미국 Virginia Tech 공학교육과에서의 공학교육 혁신 (Innovation of Engineering Education in Department of Engineering Education at Virginia Tech in the United States)

  • In 2004, a department of engineering education was established at Virginia Tech and Purdue university in the United States. Innovation of engineering education for improving the quality of engineering college education has been progressing. Content of subject of engineering exploration was developed newly for engineering college freshmen. And, effect of a sustainable energy design project on academic achievement for engineering freshmen at Virginia Tech in 2006 was researched. The project was performed throughout a 6 weeks period with one by 50 minutes lecture by professor and one 90 minutes workshop by TAs (Teaching Assistants) every week. To analyze the data, statistical package SPSS (ver. 15.0) was used. In responses to an open-ended question about freshmen students' perceptions of their improvement in design skills, the 3 most identified skills were teamwork, design process, knowledge. In, Korea, an innovation relating to engineering curriculum, facility, instructional strategy and so on will be required.

Factors and Satisfaction in Selecting University and Departments of One University freshmen

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학신입생의 학교 및 학과선택 요인과 만족도를 파악하기 위함이다. G시에 위치한 K대학의 2021년 신입생 499명을 대상으로 대학신입생의 학교 및 학과선택 요인과 만족도를 파악하고 SPSS WIN 18.0 Program으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 대학선택요인으로 대학정보매체는 인터넷/SNS, 대학정보제공자는 학교선생님, 대학등록에 영향요인은 취업률, 등록결정은 본인으로 나타났다. 대학만족도는 3.43점이고 성별(t=5.527, p=.019)과 입학전형(F=5.527, p<.001)에서 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 학과만족도는 3.86점이고 입학전형(F=3.004, p=.018)에서 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 학교만족도와 학과만족도는 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다(r=5.527, p<.001). 대학은 객관적이고 체계적인 대학 정보제공을 통해 학생들을 만족시키고 대학경쟁력을 향상시킬 수 있다.

공과대학 신입생들의 수학에 대한 인식변화에 따른 대학수학 교육방향 연구 (A Study on Desirable Management of College Mathematics through the Change of Mathematics Recognition in Engineering Freshmen)

  • 본 연구에서는 중위권 공과대학 신입생들의 수학에 대한 인식변화에 따른 대학수학의 교육방향을 연구하기 위하여 A대학교 공과대학 2011년과 2015년 신입생들을 대상으로 수학기초학력평가와 수학에 대한 인식 및 대학수학에 대한 설문을 실시하였고, 수학에 대한 인식변화를 고등학교 계열별, 대학수학능력시험 수학영역 응시유형별, 수학기초학력평가 성적별로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, A대학교 공과대학 신입생들은 수학기초학력이 부족한 것으로 나타났고, 2015년 신입생들은 2011년에 비해 자신이 느끼는 수학실력 수준이 향상되었고 대학수학 수업에서 더 노력하겠다고 답했다. 한편 2011년과 2015년 신입생 대부분이 대학수학은 전공을 위한 기초과목으로 인식하였고, 수업은 고등학교 중급 수준에서 시작하는 것과 교수가 이론설명 및 문제풀이도 해주는 수업방식을 선호했다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 효율적인 대학수학 수업을 위해서는 교수 학습에서 수학기초학력의 향상에 초점을 두고 학생들 스스로 문제를 해결하는 학습태도를 강조해야 함을 제언하였다.

간호대학 신입생의 생명의료윤리 의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Consciousness of Biomedical Ethics of Freshmen Nursing Students)

  • This study sought to provide basic for the establishment of desirable sense of ethics values by analyzing the consciousness of biomedical ethics of freshmen nursing students. The subjects of the study were 420 freshmen nursing students. The period of data collection was from April 1 to 6, 2012 and collected data were analyzed on SPSS/PC 19.0 program. The results is followed; First, the mean score of the consciousness of biomedical ethics was $2.39{\pm}0.25$. While the mostly high ranked category of biomedical ethics was the right to life of newborn($2.76{\pm}0.39$), the category with the lowest score was the artificial abortion($2.13{\pm}0.39$). Second, with respect to the characteristics of participants there were statistically significant difference in total score according to age, religion, and participation in religious activity, experience of hearing for biomedical ethics, sources of information for biomedical ethics, ethical values for biomedical ethics, and in intention to attend biomedical ethics in subjects. As a result, an arbitration program that could promote either changeable or controllable ethical values must be considered with attention to the significant variables that can promote the consciousness of biomedical ethics of freshmen nursing students.

간호학입문과 생명윤리 교과목이 간호대학 신입생의 간호이미지와 간호전문직관에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Introduction of nursing and Bioethics subject on Nurse Image and Nursing Professionalism of Freshmen Nursing Students)

  • Purpose. This study was performed to evaluate the effects of a introduction of nursing and bioethics subject on nurse image and nursing professionalism of freshmen nursing students. Methods. Participants were 104 freshmen nursing students. The period of data collection was from March 3 to June 17, 2016. The research was done in a one group pretet-posttest for a quasi-experimental study. The data ware analyzed by frequencies and paired t-test using the SPSS 21.0 program. Results. The results are as followed : There were statistically significant differences among pre and post in the nurse image(t=-6.15, p<.001) and nursing professionalism(t=53.92, p<.001). Conclusions. We strongly recommend using introduction of nursing and bioethics subject to nurse image and nursing professionalism of freshmen nursing students. And, in future study, it is necessary to develop the curriculum and teaching strategies for improving nurse image and nursing professionalism.

성별, 자아존중감 및 인터넷음란물 중독정도가 관계만족의 매개효과를 통해 성행동에 미치는 영향 : 대학 신입생을 중심으로 (Mediating Effects of Relationship Satisfactions on the Relationships among Self-esteem, Internet Pornography Addiction, and Sexual Behavior in Male and Female Freshmen)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the degree of sexual behavior. In particular, this study focused on the self-esteem, internet pornography addiction, and relationship satisfaction of freshmen as important predictors of sexual behavior and examined the dynamics of the relationships among the variables. The participants in this research were 1,806 university freshmen: 932 males and 828 females. All respondents submitted their answers on a self-report questionnaire. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlations that used PASW 18.0, and AMOS 18.0, a statistical program for structural equation modeling(SEM), to estimate the hypothesized structural equation model. The major results of this study were as follows: (1) Relationship satisfactions mediated the relationships among self-esteem, internet pornography addiction, and sexual behavior. (2) Sexual behavior between male and female freshmen showed different influences on the test of the structural model invariance across the groups.
