The human body, which is composed of concave and convex curvatures, makes it difficult to transfer into 2D patterns directly from 3D data. In previous studies. Jeong, et al.(2004) suggested the block method was fester and easier when dealing with the triangular patches of male's upper dress form. Although the block method is useful to make a pattern, the information(area, length, etc.) from a 2D pattern would be different depending on the direction of the block method. As a result horizontal and diagonal block methods were suggested as optimal methods for 2D tight-fitting patterns. These block methods were closer to the original area of the 3D scan data than the vertical block method. The total area of the 2D pattern obtained by the horizontal and diagonal block methods showed little differences. In case of the horizontal and diagonal block methods, the total error of the 2D pattern area ranged from $0.01\%\~0.25\%$. In comparing the length of the 2D pattern with that of the 3D scan data, the obtained 2D pattern was $0.1\~0.2cm$ shorter than the 3D scan data, which was within the acceptable range of errors in making clothes. 3D space distribution images between the body surface and the experimental clothing were also measured and $3\%$ enlargement of the original pattern was verified as the adequate adjustment.

Block copolymer micelles are generally formed via the self-assembly of amphiphilic block copolymers in an aqueous medium. The hydrophilic and hydrophobic blocks form shell and core micelles, respectively. The block copolymers of methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (MPEG)-b-poly(2-diisopropylamino)ethyl methacrylate (PDPA) were synthesized via atom transfer radical polymerization, with the macro initiator synthesized by the coupling of 2-bromoisobutyryl bromide with MPEG in the presence of a triethyl amine base catalyst. The atom transfer radical polymerization of 2-diisopropylamino)ethyl methacrylate was performed in conjunction with an N,N,N',N",N"-pentamethyl-diethylenetriamine/copper bromide catalyst system, in DMF, at $70^{\circ}C$. The pH induced micellization/demicellization was studied using fluorescence, with a pyrene probe. Furthermore, the pH dependent micellization was confirmed using the microviscosity method, with a dipyme fluorescence probe. The pH dependant micelle size distribution was studied using dynamic light scattering. The characterization of the synthesized polymers was established using gel permeation chromatography and from the $^1H-nuclear$ magnetic resonance spectroscopy.

A simple approach to prepare arrays of Au/TiO2 composite nanoparticles by using Au-loaded block copolymers as templates combined with a sol-gel process is described. The organic-inorganic hybrid films with closely packed inorganic nanodomains in organic matrix are produced by spin coating the mixtures of polystyrene-block-poly(ethylene oxide) (PS-b-PEO)/HAuCl4 solution and sol-gel precursor solution. After removal of the organic matrix with deep UV irradiation, arrays of Au/TiO2 composite nanoparticles with different compositions or particle sizes can be easily produced. Different photoluminescence (PL) emission spectra from an organic-inorganic hybrid film and arrays of Au/TiO2 composite nanoparticles indicate that TiO2 and Au components exist as separate state in the initial hybrid film and form composite nanoparticles after the removal of the block copolymer matrix.

Most neoplasm of the floor of the mouth are squamous cell carcinoma. They originate from anterior midline floor of the mouth and penetrate into the sublingual gland. Invasion of the mandible is a late manifestation. Lymphatic spread is the submaxillary and subdigastric nodes and advanced lesions of them produce severe pain, The initial step in managing patients with cancer pain is the oncology therapy in the form of radiotherapy, surgery, or chemotherapy, alone or combined. When oncologic therapy is ineffective, the pain must be treated by systemic analgesic, psychologic, neurostimulating, regional analgesic,and meuroablative techniques. We successfully treated with gasserian ganglion block on the left side and mandibular nerve block on the right side with pure alcohol in the patient having severe submandibular, lower lip and tongue pain.

This paper aims to clarify the Spatial Form of the Port Settlement of Rivershore in Nakdong-river. The web of road is composed of three basic elements, kyeongjeon-seon railroad, inner old coastal street, a narrow gauge railway. The basic road system is composed of Hon-machi dori (Main street) parallel to the coastal line and three perpendicular roads. According to these road patterns, plot of the lands in the block are formed into distinctive trapezoidal shape. To conclude, the Spatial Form of Samrangjin's Port Settlement might explain as a relation of Rivershore's shape and marketplace's spatial form.

Extradural block is a form of treatment described as early as the beginning of the present centuries. It has since had positive criticism from a number of authors in different countries. Epidural injections of steroids with or without local anesthetic have become an occasional method of conservative treatment in sciatica & lumbago, especially in acute case. We assess the results of continuous epidural block with steroids and local anesthetics in sciatica & lumbago. From July 1994 to June 1995, we treated 46 case of lumbago and sciatica using continuous epidural block with steroids and local anesthetics. After placement of 17-Gauge Tuohy needle in the epidural space by the technique of loss of resistance, 0.25% bupivacaine 5 cc and triamcinolone 40 mg was administered and then epidural catheter was placed and connected to multiday infusor(Paragon) using 1% lidocaine with continuous infusion rate of 1 ml/hour. Usually, the catheter was removed after 1~2 weeks and then treated with the physical therapy. At the time of patient's discharge, 69.5% of all cases showed excellent or good results. Of particular note, 26 of the 46 cases were followed up by telephone. At present, in using Of particular note, 26 of the 46 cases were followed up by telephone. At present, in using continuous epidural block procedure, a relief in symptoms showed in 65.5% of these 26 cases. Continuous epidural block provides shortening of the recovery time from pain, avoidance of long period bed rest and early physical therapy and exercise. Therefore, continuous epidural block is simple and safe in the treatment of lumbago and sciatica, especially in acute phase.

A unified approach to continuous and discrete-time Nehari problems, based on recently developed results by the authors for the one-block and Hankel-norm model reduction problems, is proposed. First, we derive discrete-time solutions in delta domain where numerical error is small and then we show that the derived form becomes same as the continuous form when the sampling interval approaches to zero.

아미노산은 식품이나 사료의 첨가물로, 의약품으로 그리고 화학합성에 있어서의 단위구조체(building block)로써 널리 이용되어 왔는데, 위에서 광학적으로 순수한 single enantiomer로서 D- 혹은 L-form의 .alpha.-아미노산은 의약품의 합성에 있어서 그 산업적 중요성이 날로 증대되고 있다. 이중 D-form의 아미노산은 .betha.-lactam계 항생제, peptide hormone, 살충제 등의 합성에서 중간 물질로 사용되고 있는데, 특히 D-p-hydroxyphenylglycine(이하 D-HPG)의 경우 amoxicillin, cefadroxil, cefatrizine, cefaparole, cefaperazone등의 penicillin이나 cephalosporin계의 반합성항생제의 전구체로서 전 세계적으로 널리 사용되고 있다.

It is well known that bronchogenic carcinoma frequently metastasize to bony skeleton, although it is unusual for it to metastasize to soft tissue in the form of a musculoskeletal abscess. We report a bronchogenic cancer patient presenting with back pain after undergoing a celiac plexus block. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrated inflammation with an abscess of the paraspinal muscle from T12 to L5; however, it was subsequently diagnosed as a metastatic pleomorphic carcinoma by histopathological study.

BPF(block pulse function) has been used widely in the system analysis and controller design. The integral operational matrix of BPF converts the system represented in the form of the differential equation into the algebraic problem. Therefore, it is important to reduce the error caused by the integral operational matrix. In this paper, a new integral operational matrix is derived from the approximating function using Lagrange's interpolation formula. Comparing the proposed integral operational matrix with another, the result by proposed matrix is closer to the real value than that by the conventional matrix. The usefulness of th proposed method is also verified by numerical examples.
