Using the periodic continued fraction, we give concrete examples of the points at which the derivatives of the Minkowski question mark function does not exist. We also give examples of the differentiability points which show that recent apparently independent results are consistent and closely related.

The purpose of this study is to progress foreign secret service's human intelligence(HUMINT) activity through case study. This study presents confrontation way of our country analyzing characteristic of foreign secret service's human intelligence(HUMINT) activity and examples concretely. The examples that is used this study is foreign secret service's human intelligence(HUMINT) in USA and Japan. The following was the result of the study. First, we need importance awareness of persons security that correspond in foreign secret service's human intelligence activity. Second, we must secure administrative means for persons security means to correspond in foreign secret service's human intelligence (HUMINT) activity. Third, we must raise anti-espionage ability that correspond in foreign secret service's human intelligence(HUMINT) activity.

U.S. lawmakers tend to organize sub-party groups focusing on regions, ideologies, policies, and foreign affairs. Examples include the conservative Freedom Caucus loyal to Trump and the Congressional Black Caucus promoting the interests of African Americans. Then how do these legislative groups affect the making of U.S. foreign policy? Paying special attention to the Korea caucus in U.S. Congress, we have analyzed the sources and processes of congressional caucus and foreign policy and have learned that structures and activities of the caucuses differ from one another. The Korea caucus seems to be a bipartisan group that focuses on issues such as trade, travel, and troubles provoked by Pyongyang. However, the Korea caucus is not really a solid voting bloc for policy alternatives; it is instead more of a constituency-oriented legislative group that prioritizes local interests. This research underscores the need for systematic and comprehensive study of U.S. legislative politics and foreign policy.

Vann Mcgee produced "counterexamples" to Modus Ponens in "A Counterexample to Modus Ponens". Discussions about the examples tended to focus on a probabilistic reading of conditional statements. This article attempts to establish both (1) Modus Ponens is a deductively valid rule of inference, and (2) the counterexample-like appearance of Mcgee's example can be (and should be) explained without making a reference to the notion of conditional probability. The reason why his examples seem to counter Modus Ponens is found rather within the ambiguity a conditional statement exhibits. That is, Mcgee's examples are cases of equivocation on the conditional statements involved.

In the paper We have analyzed the case study of the domestic and foreign railway logistic information systems based on the railway logistic to build the information architect basis system of real-time simultaneous. In case of domestic examples, We have analyzed the logistic information system used in Korea Railroad and the information systems of Kyungin ICD(Inland Container Depot) and Busanjin CY(Container Yard). In case of foreign example, we have analyzed the logistic information system of Japanese FRENS(Freight information network system) and the examples of freight tracking using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification). Through the above analysis, We have induced the main problems and improvement methods. We are able to build the railway-oriented information network system for the massive and efficient railway transportation.

This study focuses on a review of Hangeul orthography guidelines in Korean language regulations. It is indispensable to revise the guidelines thoroughly because it has been more than 80 years since a unified plan of Korean orthography was established in 1933, which the current orthography is based on. Also, it has been approximately 30 years since 1989, when the current guidelines were issued and promulgated. The viewpoint towards this review reflects the requirements by education fields of Korean as a foreign language and modern Korean users. Hangeul orthography consists of six clauses, along with an appendix regarding punctuation marks: 1) general rules, 2) consonants and vowels, 3) related to sounds, 4) about forms, 5) spacing between words, and 6) miscellaneous. This paper examined individual clauses and specific usages of the clauses, in terms of Korean as a foreign language. Based on the review, this paper suggests the following tasks in order to establish a draft of Hangeul orthography for foreigners. A. Among the individual clauses, some clauses that embody vocabulary education aspects should be addressed in a Korean dictionary, and deleted in Hangeul orthography guidelines. B. The clauses of Hangeul orthography guidelines should be edited for revision and substitution where necessary. C. The usage of individual clauses should be replaced with more appropriate examples aligned with everyday conversation. D. In order to establish 'Hangeul orthography for foreigners', linguists should continuously review several chapters and the appendix of Hangeul orthography, such as components about forms, spacing between words, miscellaneous, and punctuation marks. The purpose of this review is to pursue the simplicity of Hangeul orthography guidelines and the practicality in terms of reflecting more realistic examples. This review contributes to facilitate Korean language usage not only for non-native learners, but also native users.

Due to boundedness and sum constraint, compositional data are often transformed by logratio transformation and their transformed data are put into traditional binary classification or discriminant analysis. However, it may be problematic to directly apply traditional multivariate approaches to the transformed data because class distributions are not Gaussian and Bayes decision boundary are not polynomial on the transformed space. In this study, we propose to use flexible classification approaches to transformed data for compositional data classification. Empirical studies using synthetic and real examples demonstrate that flexible approaches outperform traditional multivariate classification or discriminant analysis.

We study three conditions which seem similar but a little different on a perturbed Cantor set. Since they give different conditions on a perturbed Cantor set, we have another results corresponding to the conditions. We compare the conditions and give different examples which provide different results.

Amid concentrating on inviting foreign students in the aspect of securing talents as well as advanced educational service industry in the world, the number of foreign students in Korea exceeded over 90,000 in 2015, increased to 104,262 anticipating further increase according to National Statistical Office. The government tried to expand the dormitory supply to the foreign students upon the discretion that short of the basic infrastructure in the universities such as quantitative shortage and facilities of the dormitories limited to lure the foreign students, despite the will of inviting more foreign students by the government, however, the rate of foreign students' staying in the dormitories was low with 36.0% nationwide in 2016, reflecting the difficulties of residence for the foreign students in Metropolitan areas. Hence, this study is to suggest the alternative potential as the cooperative housing for the foreign students with the expanded concept and its foundation methods, upon reviewing the concept and trend of the common dormitory such as universities-cooperative housing with the initiative of public institutions and the common dormitories for the Korean students studying in Seoul, and analyzing the university city of Paris and Tokyo International Exchange Center that are the examples of existing cooperative housing in overseas.
