도계획수립의 한계와 그에 관한 사변(강원도계획 중심으로) (A study on the limitation of establishing a comprehensive plan for provincial development and the speculation on the plan in case of Kang Won Province)

  • A comprehensive plan for provincial development which has been establishing and is about to be completed in 1982, has for its object that concretely develop the undertaking of the second comprehensive Program for land development under the Multiple Purpose Development of the Land Act. The limitations of the establishing tile plan which is subordinated to the Program for land development are, firstly of a difficulty of accepting upper and related plans, secondly, of limit and range of time, space and contents, and thirdly, of validity of the plan in practice. There fore, in order to solve the problems the plan firstly, has to introduce 〃the principle of composition and resolution of forces〃 into approaching to the acceptance of upper and related plans secondly, has to prefer micro approaching to macro in planning, and thirdly, has to have a flexibility of planning which will be easily changed into reasonable plan according to continuous co-ordinated process with the government authorities and inhabitants.

  • This paper describes a new structure re create a pseudo Gaussian function network (PGFN). The activation function of hidden layer does not necessarily have to be symmetric with respect to center. To give the flexibility of the network, the deviation of pseudo Gaussian function is changed according to a direction of given input. This property helps that given function can be described effectively with a minimum number of center by PGFN, The distribution of deviation is represented by level set method and also the loaming of deviation is adjusted based on it. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed network, general problem of function estimation is treated here. The representation problem of continuous functions defined over two-dimensional input space is solved.

고경도 선삭에서의 표면품위에 관한 연구 (A Study on Surface Integrity in Hard Turning)

  • New materials widely used for automobile related industry, aircraft, space development area are mostly high hardness materials. The hardness value of some hardened materials is over HRC45 and machining of this hardened materials is called as hard turning. Hard turning has its advantage on processing flexibility, cycle time and tool cost reduction. Also this process obtains high efficiency in processing and precise surface roughness through application of the CBN tools. In hard turning process with CBN tool, surface integrity is the important factor for considering the design of machine part and component under high stress and load conditions. A purpose of this study is to analyze optimal condition in hard turning process of AISI 52100 steel (HRC62) with high CBN and low CBN on turning characteristics, tool wear mechanism comparison and surface integrity.

  • In Thailand, the electricity consumption is very high with the intention of reduce high temperature in the building. Since 2000, a lot of people paying attention to Green-Building concept. A similar concept is natural building, which is usually on a smaller scale and tends to focus on the use of natural materials that are available locally. Therefore, the Earth-Block (EAB) product is appropriated approach to reduce energy consumption in the buildings. The EAB is produced with environmentally friendly process, which does not release harmful pollution and effective cost. The main significant character is durable materials for building construction. This study aims to develop the new thermal insulation by using soil-cement with vetiver grass fibre. Additionally, it describes the innovative systems used in production of EAB materials by mixing the soil-cement with vetiver grass fibre. This paper reveals lowest costs, space configurations changing and greater design flexibility for constructing the building.

  • High cost of crude oil imposes a heavy burden on vehicle users. Thus, much efforts are given to the development of alternative energies in advanced countries as well as our country. Among them, fuel cell is emerged as the most promising one for transportation. There is no harmful emission with hydrogen energy of which sources are abundant on the earth. The use of both fuel cell with self-generating system and electromanetic guidance system will be able to make urban track rapid transit operate even in the city areas of very limited infrastructure space with flexibility and on time accessibility. The high efficiency is also expected with clean environment and easy riding for both the old and the handicapped.

  • Field robot represented by excavator can be applied for various working in manufacturing, construction, agriculture etc. Because of the flexibility of its multi-joint mechanism and the high power of hydraulic actuators. Since the excavator operates in the hazardous working circumstance, operators exposed in harmful environment. Therefore, automation system has been investigated to protect from the harmful environment. In this paper, the method to construct the remote control system is proposed. The remote control system is consisted of a manual and auto mode. Manual mode controls a hydraulic cylinder as open loop control. and auto mode controls the end effecter of excavator using tracking control system. The efficiency of remote control system was evaluated through the field test.

  • Apartments, having advantages of providing high density in limited area, are now booming in these days in Korea. However, most of the apartments are monotonus and all alike in the siteplan. As a result, they we in lack of humanity for the Apartment residents. The subject of this study is analysis and development of the site planning and design trends in Apartment Complexes in the official sector. In order to suggest the new planning and Design method, the study has analyzed the Apartment complexes exemplary, that have built in recent 10 years in Seoul districts. As a results a environmentally friendly planning and design in Apartment complexes estates as a new paradigm for environmentally sound sustainable development. Apartment Unit Plans have few Flexibility and Variability in the inner space.

  • In this paper, the problems of the conventional special-purpose array processor such as the deficiency of flexibility have been investigated. Then, a new modified methodology has been suggested and applied to obtain the common solution of the three typical App algorithms like SP(Shortest Path), TC(Transitive Closure), and MST(Minimun Spanning Tree) among the various APP algorithms using the similar method to obtain the solution. In the newly proposed APP parallel algorithm, real-time Processing is possible, without the structure enhancement and the functional restriction. In addition, we design 2-demensional bit-parallel low-triangular systolic array processor and the 1-PE in detail. For its evaluation, we consider its computational complexity according to bit-processing method and describe relationship of total chip size and execution time. Therefore, the proposed processor obtains, on which a large data inputs in real-time, 3n-4 execution time which is optimal o(n) time complexity, o(n$^{2}$) space complexity which is the number of total gate and pipeline period rate is one.

  • Extensible processors provide an efficient mechanism to boost the performance of the whole system without losing much flexibility. However, due to the intense demand of low cost and power consumption, customizing an embedded system has been more difficult than ever. In this paper, we present a framework for custom instruction generation considering both area constraints and resource sharing. We also present how we can speed up the process through pruning and library-based design space exploration.

  • The fractional slot windings are widely used in rotating machine in order to increase the flexibility of design and improve the voltage waveform. However, the MMF wave of fractional-slot windings are found to contain unique harmonic component, which are designated as even order space flux harmonics, fractional number flux harmonics, or both. They may cause stray loss and stator core vibration. This paper proposes new winding methods "novel interspersed windings" and "expanded group windings" to reduce these harmonics. The advantages of two proposed windings are verified by using numerical analysis and measurement test of winding model.
