Taxis that are illegally parked on the road to catch customer can cause traffic congestion and sometimes cause traffic accidents. Stop position of taxis is determined by the long term experience of taxi drivers. In this study, We provide information to taxi drivers and customer who visit in first time through finding stop position of taxis by time. To do this, we used the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) data collected from sensors installed in 40 taxis. Previous studies attempted by forming a cluster around a taxi. Since this method is centered on a taxi, the position of the cluster changes depending on the location of the taxi. In this study, we use a road segmentation algorithm to solve these problems. Unlike the previous studies, since the cluster is formed around the road, the position of the cluster is fixed and it is not affected by the number of taxis, so it is possible to grasp the stop position in real time. The road segmentation is made up of 30m units, and map the taxi location data divided into hourly, weekday, and weekend to the nearest point. As a result of the mapping, it was difficult to see a big difference in the time of week because there were few taxis to operate on weekends, but in case of weekdays, the difference of stop position between the commute time zone and the night time zone was confirmed. The results of this study suggest that it will be possible to propose the prevention of taxi illegally driving taxi and the location of the taxi stand.

The speed of vehicles has remained a significant factor that influences the severity of accidents and traffic accident rate in many parts of the world including South Korea. This behavior where drivers drive at speeds which exceed a posted safe threshold is known as 'speeding'. Over the past twenty years, the Korean National Police Agency (NPA) has become aware of an increased frequency of drivers who are speeding. Therefore, fixed-type ASE systems [1] have been installed on hazardous road sections of many highways. These system monitor vehicle speeds using a camera. However, the use of ASE systems has changed the behavior of the drivers. Specifically, drivers reduce speed or avoid the route where the cameras are mounted. It is not practical to install cameras at every possible location. Therefore, it is challenging to thoroughly explore the location where speeding occurs. In view of these problems, the author of this paper designed and implemented a prototype visualization system in which point and color are used to show vehicle location and associated over-speed information. All of this information was used to create a comprehensive visualization application to show information about vehicle driving. In this paper, we present an approach detecting vehicles moving at speeds which exceed a threshold and visualizing the points those violations occur on a map. This was done using vehicle trajectory data collected in Daegu city. We propose steps for exploring the data collected from those sensors. The resulting mapping has two layers. The first layer contains the dynamic vehicle trajectory data. The second underlying layer contains the static road networks. This allows comparing the speed of vehicles on roads with the known maximum safe speed of those roads, and presents the results with a visualization tool. We also compared data about people who drive over threshold safe speeds on each road on days and weekends based on vehicle trajectories. Finally, our study suggests improved times and locations where law enforcement should use monitoring with speed cameras, and where they should be stricter with traffic law enforcement. We learned that people will drive over the speed limit at midnight more than 1.9 times as often when compared with rush hour traffic at 8 o'clock in the morning, and 4.5 times as often when compared with traffic at 7 o'clock in the evening. Our study can benefit the government by helping them select better locations for installation of speed cameras. This would ultimately reduce police labor in traffic speed enforcement, and also has the potential to improve traffic safety in Daegu city.

This paper proposes an efficient separation method of the composite images by using independent component analysis(ICA) based on neural networks of the approximate learning algorithm. The Proposed learning algorithm is the fixed point(FP) algorithm based on Secant method which can be approximately computed by only the values of function for estimating the root of objective function for optimizing entropy. The secant method is an alternative of the Newton method which is essential to differentiate the function for estimating the root. It can achieve a superior property of the FP algorithm for ICA due to simplify the composite computation of differential process. The proposed algorithm has been applied to the composite signals and image generated by random mixing matrix in the 4 signal of 500-sample and the 10 images of $512{\times}512-pixel$, respectively The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better performance of the learning speed and the separation than those using the conventional algorithm based method. It also solved the training performances depending on initial points setting and the nonrealistic learning time for separating the large size image by using the conventional algorithm.

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the applicability of GPS data for real-time traffic information collection especially after SA removal. Two major results have been reported. One is the GPS data availability and/or useful data point density for travel time estimation using Circle-X algorithm. 87.23% of data points can be mobilized after SA whereas only 29.94% of data was useful in calculating travel time. The other is the possible reduction of the buffer size that is used for screening the points of all GPS into useful and useless data, respectively. With these outcomes, it is safely expected that the regular GPS alone can provide the data points for real-time travel time estimation instead of the more expensive DGPS system.
Rapid design space exploration is crucial to customizing embedded system design for exploiting the application behavior. As the time-to-market becomes a key concern of the design, the approach based on an application specific instruction-set processor (ASIP) is considered more seriously as one alternative design methodology. In this approach, the instruction set architecture (ISA) for a target processor is frequently modified to best fit the application with regard to code size and speed. Two goals of this paper is to introduce our new retargetable compiler and how it has been used in ASIP-based design space exploration for a popular digital signal processing (DSP) application. Newly developed retargetable compiler provides not only the functionality of previous retargetable compilers but also visualizes the features of the application program and profiles it so that it can help architecture designers and application programmers to insert new application specific instructions into target architecture for performance increase. Given an initial RISC-style ISA for the target processor, we characterized the application code and incrementally updated the ISA with more application specific instructions to give the compiler a better chance to optimize assembly code for the application. We get 32% performance increase and 20% program size reduction using 6 audio codec specific instructions from retargetable compiler. Our experimental results manifest a glimpse of evidence that a higgly retargetable compiler is essential to rapidly prototype a new ASIP for a specific application.
The fact that the demands on traffic data collection are imposed by economic and safety considerations raisese the question of the potential for complementing existing traffic data collection programs with satellite data. Evaluating and monitoring traffic characteristics is becoming increasingly important as worsening congestion, declining economic situations, and increasing environmental sensitivies are forcing the government and municipalities to make better use of existing roadway capacities. The present system of using automatic counters at selected points on highways works well from a temporal point of view (i.e., during a specific period of time at one location). However, the present system does not cover the spatial aspects of the entire road system (i.e., for every location during specific periods of time); the counters are employed only at points and only on selected highways. This lack of spatial coverage is due, in part, to the cost of the automatic counters systems (fixed procurement and maintenance costs) and of the personal required to deploy them. The current procedure is believed to work fairly well in the aggregate mode, at the macro level. However, at micro level, the numbers are more suspect. In addition, the statistics only work when assuming a certain homogenity among characteristics of highways in the same class, an assumption that is impossible to test whn little or no data is gathered on many of the highways for a given class. In this paper, a remote sensing system as complement of the existing system is considered and implemented. Since satellite imagery with high resolution is not available, digitized panchromatic imagery acquired from an aircraft platform is utilized for initial test of the feasibility and performance capability of remote sensing data. Different levels of imagery resolutions are evaluated in an attempt to determine what vehicle types could be classified and counted against a background of pavement types, which might be expected in panchromatic satellite imagery. The results of a systematic study with three different levels of resolutions (1m, 2m and 4m) show that the panchromat ic reflectances of vehicles and pavements would be distributed so similarly that it would be difficult to classify systematically and analytically remotely sensing vehicles on pavement within panchromatic range. Anaysis of the aerial photographs show that the shadows of the vehicles could be a cue for vehicle detection.
This thesis analyzed the correlation between the psychological characteristics of adolescents and the use of games in the first year students of the national high school in 2016. The game is one of the representative entertainment industries in Korea and is an industry that has a great influence on becoming a powerhouse as cultural contents. However, games and immersion are expressed as a negative vocabulary of game addiction and are referred to as social problems and youth problems, and they give negative perception to the content of games. All users have the right to enjoy the content, but only negative words are used in poisonous games and they are packed as if they are social problems. In the present study, many emotional problems that were derived from previous studies were not related to game use in general adolescents. Through the questions related to 'depression', students who are not motivated or energy. The results of this study are as follows. First, the positive effects of game and youth emotional problems were derived through the conclusion that students who are active and emotionally bright are more likely to use game contents. This study was conducted to help change the social perception of the game positively by breaking the social fixed point of view that the emotionally troubled adolescents engage with the game and cause social problems.

Power quality problems caused by feeder voltage drop and extension construction cost problems can occur with the increasing utilization rates of the existing fixed-type EV (electric vehicle) charger. Moreover, EV users might not be able to access the EV charger due to a lack of EV charging facilities. Therefore, this paper proposes an MPSD (movable power supply device) for EVs to overcome user inconvenience caused by the insufficient number of chargers and extension cost issues. The proposed MPSD was mainly composed of a PV (photovoltaic) system, ESS (energy storage system), EV charging system, and monitoring and control system. Furthermore, there are three operation modes available to enhance the flexibility of the MPSD application, depending on the situation. This paper also presents an economical evaluation modeling using the present worth method to consider the cost and benefit elements. The simulation results based on proposed modeling showed that MPSD is more economical than the existing EV charger. Moreover, its profit can be increased significantly depending on the distance to the installation point.

This paper is a purpose to study and analyze the failure examples for timing belt, camshaft position sensor and ignition coil of LPG automotive engine. The first example, whe the service man install the front case bracket of engine, he excessively tightened up a 12mm bolt for being fixed of brackct. As a results, the bolt was separated from joint part so that it was put in between the crankshaft sprocket. Therefore the belt was broken off because of interference between timing belt and sprocket tooth. The second example, it verified the disharmony phenenomen of engine that the gap of the camshaft position sensor and camshaft senseing point assembled on cylinder head part was small more than iregular value so that the it was generated senseing damage phenomenon by pulse signal misconduct. The third example, it was found the engine disharmony phenomenon that the fire in the ignition coil was leaked by inner damage of Number 2 ignition coil.Therefore, the the manager of a car throughtly have to inspect not in order to arise the failure symptoms.

It is inevitable for college students to be confused when they first face university education, which requires them to be self-reliant and responsible, after finishing their course of education, which is passive under control of period and environment, in primary, middle, and high schools. Introduction to college courses, which require students to be subjective and responsible, to be taken after chronically and environmentally controlled primary and secondary education, are but confusing. In this stage, college education should provide ground for educational system so that students can escape from repetitively enforced way of studying of fixed curriculums and study creatively and subjectively while befitting each individual's aptitude. For instance, in programming classes in engineering school, students scholastic achievements are closely interrelated with the professor's educational principles. A change in method of education, from one previously focused on theoretical contents to one centered on practices and experiments, can reap good results. Also, as the need arose for introduction of practice-focused evaluation system, from recognition-centered professor evaluating system to enablement of actively developing creative and self-reliant way of learning, we applied the Rublic System. It is a feedback system that all or most students become the evaluators, of which the indicators of evaluation such as category, standard, and score are public. We have looked into whether or not there has been an improvement in GPAs of students, and if there exists an improvement then what efforts should be made to solidify the system.
