In addition, it intends to investigate the mediating effect of work engagement in the relationship between job satisfaction and sustainable performance of the franchisee. Research design, data and methodology: 361 survey data were collected and analyzed using SPSS 24 and AMOS 24. To assess the model for goodness of fit, indexes such as TLI, CFI, RMSEA were used. Moreover, SEM method and bootstrapping were used for hypotheses testing. Results: The results of this study are as follows. First, the relationship between job satisfaction and the employee's continuous operation intention was significant. Second, it confirms that indeed job satisfaction positively affects work engagement. Third, it was found that work engagement had positive (+) effects on the franchisees' financial performance along with its continuous operation intention. Fourth, work engagement was found to mediate the relationship between job satisfaction and continuous operation intention of the franchisee. Conclusion: We found that job satisfaction of the franchisee is related with continuous operation intention through work engagement and financial performance. Hence, by demonstrating the empirical evidence which has been insufficient so far, this study contributes to the theory accumulation regarding the franchisee's continuous operation intention.
In this paper, the effect of government corporate support projects on corporate growth was analyzed, and the effect on corporate financial performance or non-financial performance was empirically analyzed by using the growth stage as a modulating variable in government support activities. As a result, it was analyzed that government corporate support had a significant effect on financial performance, non-financial performance, and use of government support, and that the moderating effect of the growth stage had a positive (+) effect on both financial and non-financial performance. Taken together, the research results showed that government corporate support had a positive effect on corporate performance, the growth stage had a positive (+) effect on both financial and non-financial performance, and the impact on financial performance was even greater. Accordingly, government support projects must be supported according to each company's growth stage, and during the decline, companies need to provide customized support according to the state of the company through industry and corporate analysis, and it is expected to be meaningful to improve the efficiency of the government's business support project.

Purpose - There is a lack of research on how much corporate control is sufficient for effective subsidiary business-related decision making. To address this research gap, this study analyzes the impact of the level of control of a Korean corporation's headquarters on its overseas subsidiary performance. Research design, data, methodology - The study's sample comes from the Overseas Korean Business Directory of KOTRA. A multiple regression analysis empirically confirmed the relationship between the headquarters level of control over the subsidiaries and their performance. Results - The results show that the greater an organization's headquarters control over strategic issues, the greater the subsidiary's non-financial performance. However, quick decision-making through decentralization promotes the rapid selection of successful new products that can provide a competitive advantage. Conclusion - This study shows that the impact of control levels on subsidiary performance depends on the type of control involved. Specifically, while low levels of control over operational issues had a positive (+) influence on subsidiary non-financial performance, high control levels led to improved non-financial performance with regard to strategic issues among the subsidiaries.

Purpose: In this paper, we investigate whether the endeavors for 6 sigma quality management by a firm have positive effects on its financial performance and the length of 6 sigma implemented period affects its financial status. Methods: We conduct the analysis using the data from Workplace Panel Survey 2009. We use multiple linear regression in order to analyze the relationship between the efforts for quality management and financial performance. Specifically, the return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE) are investigated as dependent variables and the efforts for quality management as independent variable. The Box-Cox transformation and Cook's distance are also used. Results: As a result of the analysis, the indication is that companies that put effect into the six sigma quality management have a positive result in its financial status. In detail, the efforts for six sigma quality management have positive effects on total asset turnover ratio and six sigma implemented period on net income to net sales ratio. Additionally, companies with longer(shorter) period of six sigma program have more (less) improvement in its financial status. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the company's efforts for quality management positively influence financial performance.

The statements includes indicators of growth, profit and stability, which represents the main business performance of the entity. Results: As a result of the study, First, in terms of sales growth, sales in 2020 fell sharply year-on-year due to the impact of Covid-19. Third, the profitability of the provincial and municipal professional soccer team is still low. Fourth, the debt ratio of the provincial and municipal professional soccer team was high, indicating that stability was serious. Conclusions: In order to increase sales, various strategies and measures are needed to overcome external factors such as media content products and non-face-to-face content strategies. The provincial and municipal professional soccer team, which has weak self-sustaining operations, needs to generate more profits through transferring players as a new management (profit) model, and first of all, a long-term strategy is needed to secure financial stability by improving the club's profitability.
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among innovation activities, innovation performance, and management performance of export firms. I first undertake a review of previous studies related to innovation activity, innovation performance, and export firms' innovation. Based on this, I set up a research model and hypotheses. First, The innovation activity is classified into product innovation activity, process innovation activity, and administrative innovation activity. Innovation performance is divided into product quality improvement and cost reduction. And the business performance is regarded as financial performance of export's firms. This study examined whether innovation activity affect innovation performance such as product quality improvement and cost reduction. In addition, I examined whether these innovation performance affects business performance (financial performance). To achieve this, a total of 368 questionnaires are used in this study and PLS (Partial Least Square) was used to analyze structural equation. As a result, this study shows that product innovation activity have a positive effect on product quality improvement, and process innovation activity also have a positive effect on product quality improvement. However, it was found that neither product innovation activity nor process innovation activity had an effect on cost reduction. And it was found that administrative innovation did not affect product quality improvement, but had a positive effect on cost reduction. Also, it was found that quality improvement, which is an innovation performance, did not affect the financial performance of export's firms, and cost reduction, which is an innovation performance, had a positive effect on the financial performance of the export's firms.

This paper explores the key factors influencing the business performance of enterprises, specifically women-owned small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. The extant literature on factors affecting the business performance of women-owned SMEs in Vietnam is still quite scarce. The researchers used a self-administered questionnaire to achieve a sample of 265 female SME owners in Vietnam to find these factors. The obtained data was analyzed by using SPSS 20.0. Cronbach's α test and factor analysis have been carried out to test the reliability of data and validate the hypothesis. The results showed that these enterprises' performances had a significant positive relationship with the business management competencies of the directors of the business, quality of human resources, financial access, socio-cultural factors, and government policy. Also, the study showed no relationship between the enterprise's business network and business performance. The results suggest that female business owners should improve their business management capacity, focusing on training activities to improve the quality of human resources of enterprises. The Government needs policies to support small and medium enterprises in accessing financial and other resources and propagate to reduce gender stereotypes.

For many years, many academics and practitioners have paid attention to the increasing popularity of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and its relationship with financial performance. They have shown that creating social and sustainable responsibility can strengthen the organization's financial performance as the organization can achieve its current needs without compromising the ability to meet future needs. While much theoretical and empirical evidence has been provided to support this argument in developed countries, this topic is under-researched, and the outcomes are controversial in developing countries. Therefore, this paper aims to examine and investigate the relationship between corporate social responsibility and financial performance in Vietnamese organizations. The dataset includes 27 firms listed on the stock market exchanges in Ho Chi Minh city (HOSE) and Hanoi (HNX) from 2015 to 2019. The disclosure approach is adopted to measure corporate social activities; four areas were developed: environment, community, employee and product, customer, and supplier practices. Return on average equity (ROE) and return on average assets (ROA) are two proxies for measuring financial performance. The research results confirm the existing literature with a strong correlation between employees and returns on average assets.
