In today's globalized world, there is no transparency in exchanging data and information between producers and consumers. However, these tasks experience many challenges, such as administrative barriers, confidential data leakage, and extensive time delays. To overcome these challenges, we propose a decentralized, secured, and verified smart chain framework using Ethereum Smart Contract which employs Inter Planetary File Systems (IPFS) and MongoDB as storage systems to automate the process and exchange information into blocks using the Tendermint algorithm. The proposed work promotes complete traceability of the product, ensures data integrity and transparency in addition to providing security to their personal information using the Lelantos mode of shipping. The Tendermint algorithm helps to speed up the process of validating and authenticating the transaction quickly. More so in this time of pandemic, it is easier to meet the needs of customers through the Ethermint Smart Chain, which increases customer satisfaction, thus boosting their confidence. Moreover, Smart contracts help to exploit more international transaction services and provide an instant block time finality of around 5 sec using Ethermint. The paper concludes with a description of product storage and distribution adopting the Ethermint technique. The proposed system was executed based on the Ethereum-Tendermint Smart chain. Experiments were conducted on variable block sizes and the number of transactions. The experimental results indicate that the proposed system seems to perform better than existing blockchain-based systems. Two configuration files were used, the first one was to describe the storage part, including its topology. The second one was a modified file to include the test rounds that Caliper should execute, including the running time and the workload content. Our findings indicate this is a promising technology for food supply chain storage and distribution.

This paper aims to compare the mean object size of M/G/1/PS model with that of M/BP/1 model used in the web service. The mean object size is one of important measure to control and manage web service economically. M/G/1/PS model utilizes the processor sharing in which CPU rotates in round-robin order giving time quantum to multiple tasks. M/BP/1 model uses the Bounded Pareto distribution to describe the web service according to file size. We may infer that the mean waiting latencies of M/G/1/PS and M/BP/1 model are equal to the mean waiting latency of the deterministic model using the round robin scheduling with the time quantum. Based on the inference, we can find the mean object size of M/G/1/PS model and M/BP/1 model, respectively. Numerical experiments show that when the system load is smaller than the medium, the mean object sizes of the M/G/1/PS model and the M/BP/1 model become the same. In particular, when the shaping parameter is 1.5 and the lower and upper bound of the file size is small in the M/BP/1 model, the mean object sizes of M/G/1/PS model and M/BP/1 model are the same. These results confirm that it is beneficial to use a small file size in a web service.

The author examined the response of File fish, Stephanolepis Cirrhifer (TEMMINCK et SCHLEGEL) to the surface attracting lamps(0.5W, 0.8W, 1W) line in the experimental water tank (550L$\times$58W$\times$73H cm). the attracting rate was investigated in accordance with the interval of lighting and putting out hour (1, 5 minute)when each of the attracting lamps was gradually switched off after they were switched on all at once. The results are as follows: 1. Total distribution rate of fish in the illuminated section was 96.9%(mean 19.4%) in case of 1 minute interval, and 98.4%(mean 19.7%) in case of 5 minutes interval. 2. Mean distribution rate of fish at the illuminated section: \circled1 Distribution rate at interval of 1 minute were 19.9% in 0.8W, 19.3% in 1W and 18.9% in 0.5W respectively. \circled2 Distribution rate at interval of 5 minutes were 19.8% in 1W, 19.8% in 0.8W, and 19.5% in 0.5W respectively. 3. Attracting rate of the last section showed increasing as illuminating time elapse without interval and lighting source. 4. Attracting rate of fish in only last section switched on: \circled1 Attracting rate at interval in case of 1 minute were 98.0% in 1W, 97.0% in 0.5W and 83.0% in 0.8W respectively. \circled2 Attracting rate at interval in case of 5 minutes were 99.3% in 1W, 97.3% in 0.5W and 93.3% in 0.8W respectively.
For a P2P network, the contents distribution is a very important service because the contents provider is not fixed. And in the P2P media streaming, a request peer replays and saves media data simultaneously, and after streaming it acts as a new source peer providing media files to other peers. Therefore streaming and file saying operations should be simultaneously carried out in order to distribute contents through the P2P network. In this paper, a P2P multi-source media streaming system which can replay the contents data during downloading is proposed and implemented. The system reduces the user response time and the number of simultaneous user increases more than two times. Moreover, transmitting a part of media file makes fast distribution and diffusion of contents possible.

In this study, an expert system for multi-stage cold forging process design of axisymmetric parts is developed. The available geometries are axisymmetric shape and cylinder with a hold in one end. The overall system is composed of knowledge-based system for process sequence design, output module interfaced with CAD system and material data-base. In the developed system, designed process can be modified in order to reduce the number of processes and make the distribution of forming load be almost equal at various deforming stages within the machine capacity. After process sequence design is completed, results can be stored as a text file or a commercial CAD system file. The capabilities of the developed system are illustrated through various examples of process design.
In this paper, a power flow simulator, which visualizes power flow and system configuration, is proposed and implemented. Generally, it is necessary to prepare a text file with power-system descriptions, which is one of the barriers for power-flow simulations. The proposed simulator has a function of automatic generations of IEEE common data format files from user-drawn power-system diagrams. Therefore, it is possible for users to carry out simulations only by drawing power system on display. In addition, the proposed simulator also has a function that power-system diagram is illustrated automatically from an IEEE common data format file. By using this function, it is possible to visualize amounts and directions of power flows on the bus-system diagram, which helps users to comprehend network dynamics intuitively. Because the proposed simulator allows including renewable-resource generators in power systems, it is useful to evaluate the power distribution system. It is shown in this paper that the proposed simulator can make IEEE common data format files correctly and illustrate intuitive power flow.

The easily accessible handheld devices equipped with camera are widely available as common commodities. According to this trend, utilization of images is popular among common users for various purposes resulting in huge amount of images in local or network based storage systems. In this environment, identification of an image with a solid and effective manner is demanded in behalf of safe distribution and efficient management of images. The generated identifiers can be used as a file name in file systems or an index in image databases utilizing the uniqueness of the identifiers. In this paper, we propose a method that generates image identifiers using linear components in images. Some experiments of generation of identifiers are performed, and the results evaluate that the proposed method has feasible effectiveness.
An image analysis program with the function of measuring various quantitative characteristics in the transverse surface of wood was developed using Delphi 2.0. Data on pore characteristics (conditions for image processing, proportion of pores in relationship to other elements, tangential diameter, area, tangential and radial diameter, x and y coordinates of pore center, and geometric coefficients) were saved in text file format. In addition, the pore area histogram in the tangential and radial directions was saved as a BMP (bitmap) type file. Analyses indicated that quantitative characteristics such as the relative radial distribution of pores in a growth ring, pore tangential area histogram, and proportion of pore in lumen area appear to be useful in separating four diffuse-porous woods and four ring-porous woods on the species level.

We investigate the groundwater distribution and chemical characteristics for 3 or 5 districts every year and make the hydrogeologic map on a scale of 1:50,000. We draw the hydrogeologic digital map based on "The Handbook for the Drawing and Management of Hydrogeologic Map" which was published by MOCT and KOWACO in 1998. But, the Stiff diagram and well's notation are difficult to be presented in the digital map using the commercial Arcview GIS tools. So we develop the script file with Avenue language to represent them in Arcview GIS tool. At first, we design the database for the chemical analysis result of groundwater and well identification, and make the program code with Avenue language to display them on the digital map. And next we test the usefulness of the program code. As a result, we find that the script file is very useful for drawing the symbols and diagrams in hydrogeologic digital map using ArcView GIS.

Recently, flash memories are one of best media to support portable computer's storages in mobile computing environment. We propose a new transaction recovery scheme for a flash memory database environment which is based on a flash media file system. We improved traditional shadow paging schemes by reusing old data pages which are supposed to be invalidated in the course of writing a new data page in the flash file system environment. In order to reuse these data pages, we exploit deferred cleaning list structure in our flash memory shadow paging (FMSP) scheme. FMSP scheme removes the additional storage overhead for keeping shadow pages and minimizes the I/O performance degradation caused by data page distribution phenomena of traditional shadow paging schemes. We also propose a simulation model to show the performance of FMSP. Based on the results of the performance evaluation, we conclude that FMSP outperforms the traditional scheme.
