새로운 구조의 저전압 고이득 트랜스레지스턴스 증폭기 설계 (The Novel Low-Voltage High-Gain Transresistance Amplifier Design)

  • A new CMOS transresistance amplifier for low-voltage analog integrated circuit design applications is presented. The proposed transresistance amplifier circuit based on common-source and negative feedback topology is compared with other recent reported transresistance amplifier. The proposed transresistance amplifier achieves high transresistance gain, gain-bandwidth with the same input/output impedance and the minimum supply voltage $2V_{DSAT}+V_T$. Hspice simulation using 1.8V TSMC $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS technology was performed and achieved $59dB{\Omega}$ transresistance gain which is above the maximum about $18dB{\Omega}$ compared to transresistance gain of the reported circuit.

  • This paper presents the methods of designing the control circuits for a Class D amplifier to have a peak performance. The proposed approach is based on the three functional components - a carrier generator, a feedback circuit and a dead-time circuit. First the analog signal is applied to the controller, which outputs the 3 level PWM waveform. The controller used for this experiment is made of the operational amplifier and the logic circuit. The experimental results show that the control circuit performs with satisfaction and its output is proportional to input audio signal, providing a satisfactory 3 level PWM pattern. From this design methodology, by implementing a proposed control circuit we can achieve the efficient Class D amplifier using the half-bridge, full-bridge or push-pull topology at the output stage.

독립형 마이크로그리드의 부하 변동에 대한 강인 적응형 전력 제어기법 (Robust Adaptive Power Control against Electric Load Changes in Islanded Micro-grid)

  • In recent years, micro-grid has been widely focused on the fields of renewal energy systems. This paper proposes a novel robust power converter control against arbitrary electric load changes for islanded micro-grid topology. First, we provide a state-space representation of our micro-grid model including power converter and electric load circuit. And then a state feedback control method is applied to construct a nominal control framework. Next, we propose a robust adaptive control law to enhance a control performance against unexpected load perturbation. In addition, we analytically investigate a passivity property for the micro-grid model and carry out computer simulation to demonstrate superiority and reliability of the proposed control methodology.

인덕터 피킹기법을 이용한 초광대역 CMOS 저잡음 증폭기 설계 (Design of UWB CMOS Low Noise Amplifier Using Inductor Peaking Technique)

  • 본 논문에서는 3.1-10.6GHz 초광대역 CMOS 저잡음 증폭기의 새로운 구조를 소개하였다. 제안된 초광대역 저잡음 증폭기는 입력 임피던스 정합에 RC 피드백과LC 필터회로를 사용하여 설계되었다. 이 설계에 전류 재사용 구조는 전력소비를 줄이기 위해 채택되었으며, 인덕터 피킹 기법은 대역폭을 확장하기 위하여 적용되었다. 이 초광대역 저잡음 증폭기의 특성을 $0.18-{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정기술로 시뮬레이션을 수행한 결과는 3.1-10.6GHz 대역 내에서 전력이득은 14-14.9dB, 입력정합은 -10.8dB이하, 평탄도는 0.9dB, 잡음지수는 2.7-3.3dB인 것을 보여준다. 또한, 입력 IP3는 -5dBm이고, 소비전력은 12.5mW이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 종래의 접지된 능동 인덕터 구조와 궤환 가변 LC-공진기를 이용한 새로운 가변 능동 인덕터를 제안하였다. 접지된 능동 인덕터는 자이레이터-C 구조로 구현되며, 가변 LC-공진기는 낮은 Q 지수를 갖는 나선 인덕터와 바렉터로 이루어진다. 가변 LC-공진기는 트랜지스터의 기생 커패시턴스에 의한 Q 지수의 감소를 보상하며, LC-공진기의 공진 주파수 조절에 의해 높은 Q 지수를 갖는 주파수 대역을 가변할 수 있다. 매그나칩 $0.18{\mu}m$ 공정을 이용하여 제작된 가변 능동 인덕터는 $4.66{\sim}5.45GHz$ 대역에서 바랙터 제어 전압 조정에 의해 높은 Q 지수를 갖는 주파수를 조정할 수 있으며, 동자 대역에서 50 이상의 Q 지수를 제공한다. 또한, 바렉터 제어전압 조정으로 5.1 GHz에서 $4.12{\sim}5.97nH$의 가변 인덕턴스 값을 얻을 수 있었다.

의료기기용 MedRadio 대역 저전력 저잡음 증폭기 (A MedRadio-Band Low Power Low Noise Amplifier for Medical Devices)

  • 본 논문에서는 의료기기용 MedRadio 대역의 저전력 저잡음 증폭기를 제안한다. 제안한 저잡음 증폭기는 전류 재사용 저항 피드백 증폭기 구조를 채택하여 $g_m$을 증폭시키고 소스 인덕터 없이 입력 매칭을 가능하도록 하였다. 추가적으로 제안한 직렬 저항, 인덕터, 커패시터 입력 매칭 네트워크의 Q-factor를 통해 저잡음 증폭기의 전압 이득을 증가시켜 잡음 지수를 최소화 했다. 로드저항이 없는 구조를 채택하여 낮은 전원 전압으로 전력 소모를 줄였다. 제안한 MedRadio 대역 저전력 저잡음 증폭기는 $0.13{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 사용하여 설계하였고, 전원 전압 1 V에서 0.18 mA의 전류를 소모하면서 0.85 dB의 잡음 지수, 30 dB의 전압 이득, -7.9 dBm의 IIP3의 성능을 보인다.

An Inductance Voltage Vector Control Strategy and Stability Study Based on Proportional Resonant Regulators under the Stationary αβ Frame for PWM Converters

  • The mathematical model of a three phase PWM converter under the stationary αβ reference frame is deduced and constructed based on a Proportional-Resonant (PR) regulator, which can replace trigonometric function calculation, Park transformation, real-time detection of a Phase Locked Loop and feed-forward decoupling with the proposed accurate calculation of the inductance voltage vector. To avoid the parallel resonance of the LCL topology, the active damping method of the proportional capacitor-current feedback is employed. As to current vector error elimination, an optimized PR controller of the inner current loop is proposed with the zero-pole matching (ZPM) and cancellation method to configure the regulator. The impacts on system's characteristics and stability margin caused by the PR controller and control parameter variations in the inner-current loop are analyzed, and the correlations among active damping feedback coefficient, sampling and transport delay, and system robustness have been established. An equivalent model of the inner current loop is studied via the pole-zero locus along with the pole placement method and frequency response characteristics. Then, the parameter values of the control system are chosen according to their decisive roles and performance indicators. Finally, simulation and experimental results obtained while adopting the proposed method illustrated its feasibility and effectiveness, and the inner current loop achieved zero static error tracking with a good dynamic response and steady-state performance.

항공교통관제용 UHF대역 전력 증폭기 설계 및 구현 (Design and Realization UHF Power Amplifier for Air Traffic Control)

  • 본 논문에서는 항공관제용 UHF대역 25W 전력 증폭기를 설계 및 제작하였다. 전력 증폭기는 구동단, 전력 증폭단 및 제어부로 구성되었으며, 광대역 동작을 위하여 부궤환 회로 및 동축선로 발룬이 사용되었다. 선형성 및 효율성이 우수한 VDMOS를 전력소자로 사용하였으며, AB급 바이어스에서 push-pull 증폭을 하도록 설계하였다. 설계된 전력 증폭기는 게이트단에 음성 신호가 인가되었을 때 안정적인 AM 변조 특성을 나타내었으며, 상용 항공관제용 무선 송신기의 출력 사양을 만족하도록 설계 및 구현되었다.

  • This paper presents a novel and direct dead time compensation method of the 3 phase inverter using space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM) topology. In the turn on time calculation of the effective voltage, the dead time effect is directly compensated according to the current direction of the midium voltage reference. Since the turn on time of the effective voltage vector is affected by the dead time, the loss time is compensated to turn on time of the effective voltage vector. And the dead time is added to the calculated voltage vector switching times according to the current direction. For the more effective compensation, the direction of the midium phase current is considered by the practical direction and voltage drops in the power devices. The proposed method can compensate the dead time which is considered feedback error or direction of middle phase current without coordinate transform in added controller. The proposed dead time compensation scheme is verified by the computer simulation and experiments of 3 phase R L load.

저궤도 위성 자세제어용 자이로 고전압 발생기 설계 (The Gyro High Voltage Power Supply Design for Attitude Control in the Satellite)

  • The gyroscope is the sensor for detecting the rotation in inertial reference frame and constitute the navigation system together an accelerometer. As the inertial reference equipment for attitude determination and control in the satellite, the mechanical gyroscope has been used but it bring the disturbance for mass unbalance so the disturbance give a bad influence to the observation satellite mission because the mechanical gyroscope has the rotation parts. During the launch. The mechanical gyroscope is weak in vibration, shock and has the defect of narrow operating temperature range so it need the special design in integration. Recently the low orbit observation satellite for seeking the high pointing accuracy of image camera payload accept the FOG(Fiber Optic Gyro) or RLG(Ring Laser Gyro) for the attitude determination and control. The Ring Laser Gyro makes use of the Sanac effect within a resonant ring cavity of a He-Ne laser and has more accuracy than the other gyros. It need the 1000V DC to create the He-Ne plasma in discharge tube. In this paper, the design process of the High Voltage Power Supply for RLG(Ring Laser Gyroscope) is described. The specification for High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS) is proposed. Also, The analysis of flyback converter topology is explained. The Design for the HVPS is composed of the inverter circuit, feedback control circuit, high frequency switching transformer design and voltage doubler circuit.
