  • Contemporary young men are consumption-oriented, pursue ideal male images displayed in commercials, and are highly interested in fashion, beauty, and appearance. This metrosexual tendency(which values appearance) is largely influenced by mass media. This study examines how men's media information utilization influences appearance awareness and metrosexual tendency as well as how these two variables influence cosmetics consumption and fashion product consumption behavior. The results are as follows. First, metrosexual tendency consists of four dimensions: fashion involvement, pursuit of individuality beyond sexuality, cognition of fashion taste, and preference of a high quality product. The sum of variance is 65.594%. Second, media information utilization influenced metrosexual tendency and metrosexual tendency influence cosmetic consumption, brand-sensitive consumption and commercial-sensitive consumption; however, it did not affect price-sensitive consumption. Third, media information utilization affected appearance awareness; however, appearance awareness did not affect metrosexual tendency. In conclusion, appearance management behavior for men in their 20s is clearly affected by media. This phenomenon is caused by the metrosexual desire to express identity through fashion. Men in their 20's do not take care of their looks because of the social perception of appearance (as related to showing off their competence or pursuit of social success); rather, they have a desire to express their individuality and personally enjoy grooming and maintaining their appearance. Therefore, we can expect increased beauty and fashion expenditures.

  • This study aims to rediscover the industrial value of a borderless service in the hyper-connected era by producing fashion content at the forefront of the cultural industry as XR content and contributing to developing fashion content for edutech. The research method employed design aesthetic theory, while the empirical proposal utilized scientific knowledge information to build a framework for 3D convergence content. The characteristics of fashion content exhibitions that apply the neumorphism technique are as follows: The first is a virtual space that produces clothing culture by type. Africa, where dyeing and crafts are developed, selects a product-oriented exhibition type; Asia, where weaving and textiles are excellent, selects a random movement type; and Europe, where the evolution of clothing design over time is evident, selects a guided movement type to create a three-dimensional fashion edutech. The goal was to produce content. The second is creative reproducibility, which combines a new fashion design that embraces the aura of the original with a trendy sense. The realistic folk costume style of the original allowed for its implementation in the AR exhibition space using historical traditional style techniques such as weaving and textiles. The third is building organic, modular content. By designing and then saving/editing/arranging the basic VP zone for each style, learners and instructors can freely edit the content for each fashion class topic and create various presentations to ensure that it functions as non-face-to-face edutech content around the world.

Third, female students perceived significantly higher in fashion change and unfitness than male students. Forth, unfitness and product efficiency decrement were significantly discriminated between between clothing satisfaction groups, unfitness and fashion change variables were significantly discriminated between family income groups. fifth, impulsive purchase factor was the best predictor of composite clothing disposal measure, followed by individuality, clothing satisfaction, practicality. The best predictors of each disposal factors were individuality oriented purchasing criterion in unfitness factor. Fashion in fashion change, impulsive purchase in quality dissatisfaction and product efficiency decrement factors, and practicality in maintenance/inconvenience factor. As a whole, the most consistent predictor of clothing disposal determinants was impulsive purchase factor.

  • This study intends to examine extensively on the current situation where the full capacity of 3D CG is not being highlighted because of the lack of the information and the awareness and to look at how the virtual reality technology is being applied ranging from the design of the clothes to the marketing. A set of processes ranging from the development of the clothing design to the marketing will be performed on the web. Designers will design with 3D CG and make the patterns and will hand this over to the producer together with the virtual swatch. But there are important problems to work out. First, it is the problem of the virtual fitting room. Second, it is the absence of the 3D CG, which is easy and convenient for the clothing design. Third, it is to perfect the visual reconstruction. Fourth, it is the security of the distribution system. Fifth, it also calls for the strengthened internet network that can smooth the flow of the tremendous data. Consumer will be able to produce according to their needs and will become designer and producer at the same time, resulting in the achievement of the consumer-oriented marketing in real sense.

  • We provide an empirical assessment that examines the differences in appearance management behavior, life satisfaction and demographic variables between groups classified by individual lifestyle. Questionnaires were administered to 513 female and male adults over 17 years of age in the Daegu and Kyungbok metropolitan regions. Descriptive statistics, cluster analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, ANOVA, Duncan test and ${\chi}^2$ test were applied to analyze data from 513 respondents. The results are as follows. First, we did a cluster analysis on the appearance management behavior of weight training, skin care, hair care, make-up and clothing selection. Four groups (passive, rational, fashion oriented, and active typed) where classified according to individual lifestyle. Second, the rational and active groups were more interested in the social life, environmental stability, health, fashion and economic seeking life. They were also more involved in appearance management behavior and in a higher level of life satisfaction. However, the differences of life satisfaction among the lifestyle group (male) were not statistically significant. Third, females with higher level of income and education (among the demographic variables) belonged to the active group. We found significant differences in appearance management behavior, life satisfaction and demographic variables among male and female groups classified by lifestyle.

  • These new Phenomenon influences with the new terminology 'fusion' on the way of our life in all areas of our society including the clothes and foods. Along with post-structuralism, which aims at diversification and senses deconstructionalism is a characteristic of this time post-structuralism is based upon the deconstructionalism. Especially the arts in the modern society which is called an information-oriented society lack the totality of a text and become fragmentary, and therefore it follows that traditional values are destroyed and at last a new code such as fusion which is incomprehensible if we would be in mono-linear perspective. Dislikes toward excessively formative and orthodox elements of modern pictures and constructs ; features of kitschs and subcultures against materialism are revealed in diverse objects and materialism. In such a situation of mingling of diversifications with no time to evaluate an object, another diverse forms come into the world and there is no room for evaluating. Therefore, this study will make a light on what are tendencies in the fashion design from the end of 20C to the beginning of 21C, and foreground the concept of fusion in modern fashion which is relevant with digitals and its generative background.
