Scientific studies on the family have been done since 1960, considerable amounts have been accumulated quantitatively and qualitatively. But, it is a pity that research results from many other disciplines were not classified systematically nor exchanged each other. This historical review includes results on the family studies in Americal and Korea, in the latter, 1191 literatures are analyzed into 7 major domains : marriage and family values, family relationships, family structure, family problems, family studies trend, sex-roles, etc. Based on this article, more desirable theory building in Korean families is required.

The purpose of our study is empirically to identify residents' satisfaction by multi-family public rental housing and to find out another improvement to solve the housing problems facing the poor in Daegu. As a new way of settling the housing problems for the poor in city, as you know, multi-family public rental housing program was introduced by the Korean government in 2004 but rarely empirically evaluated so far. in the Residents' Satisfaction, There are no evaluation of multi-family public rental housing program except Kim's study (2006). Based on 160 survey data, we evaluated the multi-family Public Rental Housing Program within the framework of affordability in economics, a satisfaction in building and in neighborhood by a statistical method. As a result, we find out that residents on multi-family Public Rental housing are satisfied with the multi-family Public Rental Housing Program by and large. For mitigating the housing and economic problem of the poor more, self-support program as well as assistance in housing are needed and multi-family Public Rental housing Program must include neighborhood program more.

This study is aimed to investigate the characteristics of the elevations in the contemporary multi-family residential buildings in Paris. The survey was performed by studying 30 buildings which had won the multi-family residential project competitions, held in Paris in 2011. Since 30 buildings in the survey will be constructed in Paris in a couple of years, current trends of the elevations of the multi-family residential buildings can be extracted. Historically and also currently, in France, the multi-family housing has been studied to solve the various social problems; especially in Paris where the historical buildings and the modern and the contemporary buildings stand together in perfect harmony. The uniform elevations of the multi-family residential buildings in Korea, have been consist problems in the country. By studying the building elevations in Paris, the solutions to solve the current problems and to improve the situation, can be found. The study will be discussed in three different categories. First of all, the volume and the mass of building in the survey buildings, will be analyzed. Secondly, the openings in the facade, such as the windows and the balconies of the survey projects, will be analyzed. Finally, the materials and the colors of the facade will be discussed. By analyzing the elevations of the multi-family residential building projects, which had won the competitions, and are soon to be built in Paris, the various experiments and the attempts in building elevations, currently happening in Paris which is mostly known as a Haussmann style city, can be presumed, as well as the willingness of the city to reserve the historic buildings in the city.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of lives and problems of 'Kirogi'(or Wild Goose) fathers, who were called fathers in the 'Kirogi' families, South Korean families separated by an ocean. They almost sent too much money that were $50-100\%$ of their family income to the families abroad, and got economic pressures so severely. More or less, they sold their own real estates, moved to much smaller sized house. and often expended the saving money. Also, they had difficulties of taking care of their children and felt lonely very much. By the hand, they might experience the adaptation process through 3 stages-troubles, acception(or wandering or enjoy), adjust (or violation). They had three types of problems, that is, family relationship problem(the isolation), psychological problem(loneliness and self-control), economic problem (financial pressure and drop of economic status). They found the strategies to overcome these problems for themselves. Firstly, they took lots of methods like email, internet chatting, phone, etc. to communicate with their family everyday and made many events to strengthen the ties among families. Secondly, they got rid of stresses mainly by joining with their colleagues at work. Finally, they decided to lower the standard of living of their family in foreign country or tried to find their wives' jobs to prevent the financial hardship.

Korean society recently realized the needs for a system that may effectively prevent and/or resolve different family problems caused by the rapidly changing modem society. In order to carry out this objectives. The Healthy Family Act has been legislated and is to be enforced from the 1st of January, 2005. Legislating the law is a means to establish an administrative and institutional structure that may bring in the total welfare system centered around family, so as to promote healthy families in our society. This is also a land marking event that has shifted the paradigm from the welfare system focusing on individual protection to the total welfare system based upon family units. Hence, this study is to examine the specific concepts of 'healthy family,' which is the goal of The Healthy Family Act, and thus to propose the objectives of the law by analysing the institutional system of it. The Healthy Family Act, which consists of major 37 items of 5 chapters with supplementary provisions, aims at the five ideals as follows. The first is to promote the healthy family which is the basis of individual welfare and well-to-do society. The second is to emphasize the importance of family and to provide total service system for family unit. The third is to establish the family value which supports gender-equality and democracy. The fourth is to reinforce the governmental support for independence and cooperation of family. And the fifth is to promote the in-advance and precautionary support for family problems. The law also includes administrative methods for Strong Families Center, different projects and programs for promoting healthy families, roles of Healthy Family Specialist and means to cultivating them, and the policies to specifically carry out the ideas of the law. It is now important to recognize that the development of nation is based on the healthy families and to put much effort in carrying out the ideas and goals of The Healthy Family Act.

In this paper, we introduce a new iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a finite family of strict pseudocontractions and the solution set of pseudomonotone and Lipschitz-type continuous equilibrium problems. The scheme is based on the idea of extragradient methods and fixed point iteration methods. We show that the iterative sequences generated by this algorithm converge strongly to the common element in a real Hilbert space.

The purpose of this case study is to explore the difference of hospice care and the efficiency of hospice education, by comparing the care of the nurse, the volunteer and the minister who have been trained by the Hospice Education Program. The index of common hospice care delivered by cases is that 1) the physical problems (pain, physical discomfort, incontinece, nausea, vomiting etc.) 2) the family problems(family support, change of family function, inefficiency, preparing the death of family) 3) the psychiatric problems(grief and sadness of death, anxiety, fear, helplessness). The case of volunteer and minister is different with the hospice care by nurse, because it is some what related to Christian's base. The index of care by the volunteer and minister is pertaining to social support and spiritual support for family and dying patient. In conclusion, for the wholistic hospice care, we need the hospice caregiver who have diverse background and expert in knowledge of various dimension. For that, it is necessary to build and develop hospice education program as a team apprach, which indudes a systematic expertizing items for care in consideration of caregiver's background.

Today, the Korean society is experiencing an increase in serious problems, such as child abuse, unmarried mothers, single mothers, which cannot be overlooked as simply trivial family matters. The increase in these problems is caused by the rapid change that has taken place within our society, which has emasculated the power of our traditional values and behavior patterns to cope with contemporary life styles. Premarital Preparation Education is starting to gain attention as a preventive measure that can overcome this serious family crisis. Although the importance of the Premarital Preparation Education program cannot be overemphasized, there are only few cases where engaged couples and unmarried men and women are exposed to this type of program and actually experience its benefits. In other words, there is an urgent need to revitalize and increase the effects of the Premarital Preparation Education Program. This research was conducted in order to find a way to revitalize and to increase the effects of the program, so that more and more people can participate and receive benefits from it. First, we have analyzed the program's contents and the current condition on how the program is actually conducted. Then we have compared real case examples of the program and analyzed the current situation and its problems.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of teacher and family interaction on behavior problems and social skills of children with autism spectrum disorder. Survey method was performed with 147 pair samples of a teacher and parents of a child with autism to analyze the influence toward behavior problems and social skills. Samples have been classified into three groups such as the high group in which there exists high interaction level in both teacher and family, middle group in which there exists high interaction level in either teacher or family and low group in which there exists low interaction level in both teacher and family. The results show that the correlation between teacher interaction and social skill of autism children is significant and the level of social skills of high interaction group is higher than that of the middle and low interaction group.
