DISCRETE TORSION AND NUMERICAL DIFFERENTIATION OF BINORMAL VECTOR FIELD OF A SPACE CURVE

  • Geometric invariants are basic tools for geometric processing and computer vision. In this paper, we give a linear approximation for the differentiation of the binormal vector field of a space curve by using the forward and backward differences of discrete binormal vectors. Two kind of discrete torsion, say, back-ward torsion $T_b$ and forward torsion $T_f$ can be defined by the dot product of the (backward and forward) discrete differentiation of binormal vectors that are linear approximations of torsion. Using Frenet formula and Taylor series expansion, we give error estimations for the discrete torsions. We also give numerical tests for a curve. Notably the average of $T_b$ and $T_f$ looks more stable in errors.

합성곱 신경망을 이용한 Bender Gestalt Test 영상인식 (Bender Gestalt Test Image Recognition with Convolutional Neural Network)

  • This paper proposes a method of utilizing convolutional neural network to classify the images of Bender Gestalt Test (BGT), which is a tool to understand and analyze a person's characteristic. The proposed network is composed of 29 layers including 18 convolutional layers and 2 fully connected layers, where the network is to be trained with augmented images. To verify the proposed method, 10 fold validation was adopted. In results, the proposed method classified the images into 9 classes with the mean f1 score of 97.05%, which is 13.71%p higher than a previous method. The analysis of the results shows the classification accuracy of the proposed method is stable over all the patterns as the worst f1 score among all the patterns was 92.11%.

RINGS AND MODULES WHICH ARE STABLE UNDER NILPOTENTS OF THEIR INJECTIVE HULLS

  • It is shown that every nilpotent-invariant module can be decomposed into a direct sum of a quasi-injective module and a square-free module that are relatively injective and orthogonal. This paper is also concerned with rings satisfying every cyclic right R-module is nilpotent-invariant. We prove that R ≅ R1 × R2, where R1, R2 are rings which satisfy R1 is a semi-simple Artinian ring and R2 is square-free as a right R2-module and all idempotents of R2 is central. The paper concludes with a structure theorem for cyclic nilpotent-invariant right R-modules. Such a module is shown to have isomorphic simple modules eR and fR, where e, f are orthogonal primitive idempotents such that eRf ≠ 0.

  • Let 𝓜 be a stable Serre subcategory of the category of R-modules. We introduce the concept of 𝓜-minimax R-modules and investigate the local-global principle for generalized local cohomology modules that concerns to the 𝓜-minimaxness. We also provide the 𝓜-finiteness dimension f𝓜I (M, N) of M, N relative to I which is an extension the finiteness dimension fI (N) of a finitely generated R-module N relative to I.

무 자엽과 하배축에서 저온과 ABA처리로 유도된 중탕에 강한 단백질 분석 (Induction of Boiling Stable Proteins by Cold and ABA Treatment in Radish Cotyledon and Hypocotyl)

  • 백경 가을무 자엽은 선천적으로 53kDa과 29kDa인 중탕에 강한 단백질을 소유하고 있다. 저온 스트레스를 주면 중탕에 강한 36kDa과 16.5kDa 단백질이 새로 유도되었고, 53kDa과 29kDa의 단백질은 더 증가되었다. 중탕에 강한 53kDa 단백질은 자엽을 제거한지 2시간 이내에 변성되었다. 백경 가을무 하배축에서는 자엽에서와 같이 선천적으로 중탕에 강한 53kDa 단백질이 존재하고, 스트레스를 받으면 중탕에 강한 24kDa과 18kDa 단백질이 새로 유도되었다. 장춘대형 봄무 자엽에서는 저온과 ABA 스트레스를 주면 중탕에 강한 53kDa 단백질이 유도되었고, 25kDa과 23kDa 단백질이 증가되어 백경 가을무와 장춘대형 봄무에서 스트레스에 대항하여 유도되는 중탕에 강한 단백질이 다름을 알 수 있었다. 중탕에 강한 25kDa과 23kDa 단백질의 유도는 cycloheximide에 의해 방해 되었다. 22kDa 단백질은 ABA 처리로 사라졌다가 cycloheximlde의 처리로 다시 증가되어, cycloheximide는 생체 내 단백질의 분해에도 관여하는 것으로 보인다. 장춘대형 봄무의 하배축에서 스트레스로 유도되는 단백질의 양상은 백경 가을무 하배축에서 유도되는 단백질의 양상과 유사하였다.

  • The homogeneity and the long term stability for HCNG(CNG composed of about 20 % hydrogen) have been studied. The homogeneity by using ANOVA shows that the HCNG mixing gas is homogeneous ; the relative uncertainty of homogeneity is 0.0375 %. The long term stability for HCNG mixing gas by using F-test and t-test shows that HCNG mixing gas is stable ; the relative uncertainty of the long term stability is 0.0682 % for seven months.

  • In this dissertation, experimental research was carried out to study the hysteretic behavior of reinforced concrete frame designed by high performance techniques, using carbon fiber plate, diagonal bracing system with or without steel frame. Experimental programs were carried to evaluate the structural performance of such test specimens, such as the hysteretic behavior, the maximum horizontal strength, crack propagation, and ductility etc. Specimens(RFCP, RFXB, RFXB-F), designed by the improvement of earthquake-resistant performance, were attained more load-carrying load-carrying capacity stable hysteretic behavior.

  • In this paper, the stability analysis for the bilateral control of tele-manipulator is considered. Two-port network model is used to describe the tele-manipulator system. The stable conditions are derived using impedance matrix and passive network theory for two different types of bilateral control scheme. It is also shown that such conditions can be succefully applied to the n-d.o.f tele-manipulator system in which the kinematics and dynamics of master and slave manipulators are different.

Resistive Switching Characteristics of Amorphous GeSe ReRAM without Metalic Filaments Conduction

  • We proposed amorphous GeSe-based ReRAM device of metal-insulator-metal (M-I-M) structure. The operation characteristics of memory device occured unipolar switching characteristics. By introducing the concepts of valance-alternation-pairs (VAPs) and chalcogen vacancies, the unipolar resistive switching operation had been explained. In addition, the current transport behavior were analyzed with space charge effect of VAPs, Schottky emission in metal/GeSe interface and P-F emission by GeSe bulk trap in mind. The GeSe ReRAM device of M-I-M structure indicated the stable memory switching characteristics. Furthermore, excellent stability, endurance and retention characteristics were also verified.

Valence State of the Sm Metal

  • Valence state of the Sm metal is investigated using the total energy linearized muffin-tin orbital (LMTO) band method for the observed Sm-type crystal structure. We have considered both the relativistic and the semi-relativistic description of 4f-core electrons. We have found that, in the paramagnetic phase of bulk Sm, the trivalent valence state is more stable at the observed lattice constant than the divalent valence state.
