  • The literal Meaning of Art Nouveau is 'New Art'. It means that Art Nouveau was conceived momentous sense of transition in the close of 19C and found the way to overcome that situatiov. So, This Study aims to discover the Meaning and Characteristic of Art Nouveau through it's Linear form. Through this study, linear form of Art Nouveau served not merely to decorate building, but to liberate space. With linear forms, Art Nouveau artists synthesize all exterior and interior elements - from doors and windows to carpets and furnishings - by one's emotional rhythm and occasionally change the feel of space that adorned with another style. First, of all, linear form is a method for 'Art for Art sake', and the possibility of linear form does not disappear.

  • Advancement in electronic technology has given office workers a new freedom, and a new meaning to workplace flexibility. Actually non territorial workplace has different space elements from general and conventional workplace in terns of interior design and architecture even organization management. The purpose of this study is on the establishment of an evaluation model for non territorial workplace that may be used, practically on the spot. For the establishment of non territorial workplace evaluation model, it is ahead of the study of the feature and the type of none territorial workplace and the research for existing office evaluation technique by Preiser and Vicher. And then the evaluation model for none territorial workplace which is composed three parts that is user's importance, provider's importance and user' satisfaction related fact of workplace. It is constructed by 6 factors which are physical, psychological, workplace environmental, communication, exterior environment, and space managing system therefore each factors has scrupulous elements therefore the total elements are 40. To make more confidence the evaluation model for non territorial workplace, it requires that study continually through the survey with the non territorial workplace evaluation model.

  • The purpose of this design plan is a method for opening the church to regional society to contribute to make up the community within regional society and to achieve the desirable common society of christianity like following. 1)For opening churchs to regional society, the church has to make up exterior spaces sufficiently. 2)The main chapel has to planned with mutipurpose for fiexibility and various functions of contemporary church. 3)The whole facilities have to be organized with a kind of the complex or multifunctional building which can accommodate activities of education, recreation and culture, therefore, content with the community's requirements. 4)The architectural form of the church has to planned with human scale, considering harmonization with regional environment. Modern church architecture needs a centralized plan, a variety of shapes such as square, round oval and polygon rather then a rectangular which is able to bring about a closer reationship between the priest and the congregation in the church.

  • This study aims to understand the architectural characteristics and living pattern of the Daor and to make a comparative study with the Han race. This research inquired into the background of the Daor and surveyed the present condition of traditional houses. As a result of this study, the features of Daor's traditional house is synthesized as follows. 1) The arrangement of village is in a row facing south. The site plan and exterior shape is like as the Manchurian race. 2) Making west window and creating a bright atmosphere is the unique architectural style. 3) Viewed from spatial layout and function, Daor's has more remarkable difference from Han's. That is to say, the room equipped with Kang is daily space and kitchen is just space for cooking in contrast with the Han.

  • This paper deals with space Beltrami system with three characteristic matrices in even dimensions, which can be regarded as a generalization of space Beltrami system with one and two characteristic matrices. It is transformed into a nonhomogeneous $p$-harmonic equation $d^*A(x,df^I)=d^*B(x,Df)$ by using the technique of out differential forms and exterior algebra of matrices. In the process, we only use the uniformly elliptic condition with respect to the characteristic matrices. The Lipschitz type condition, the monotonicity condition and the homogeneous condition of the operator A and the controlled growth condition of the operator B are derived.

  • The aim of this study is actual conditions to analyse of community center in Cheongweon-gun and propose operation method. In this study, I deduced some problems and proposed improvement planing corresponded to new needs through such as external appearance, inner space analysis, operating actual conditions analysis and etc., of existing community center in Cheongweon-gun. And I wish to present more efficient architectural space organization and operation method with these surveying results. The result of this study are as follows; Community center as representative community facilities is necessary to reflect of village characteristics on the exterior of buildings, and decision of scale and usage considered number of residents, visitors, and ages. For management of the community center, it is necessary of sustainable obtain of management cost, and provision against rebuilding and enlargement of building.

  • This research starts from the questioning of current housing development situation on hilly sites in Korea. It aims to investigate various design techniques of row-rise housing as an alternative housing type on hilly sites. Several generic solutions are proposed by considering the density of dwelling, parking plans, exterior space and access patterns, making full use of geographical features of hilly site and existing facilities. In order to promote development feasibility of proposed plans, the efficiency of the proposed techniques are verified in terms of development density, enhancement of community space, habitability of housing.

  • The concept of dwelling space is tend to be changed not only to have reasonable mobility but also to have high quality of indoor air with psychologicaa satisfaction and comfortable. Moreover, recent constructed buildings have a big problem because of exhausted pollution gas and particles from building materials. More serious problem occurs from its high air tightness reducing the ventilation for saving the energy and superior adiabatic insulators to have high heat efficiency. Indoor air quality in super high-rise dwelling house was investigated by measuring pollutants such as $CO_2,=;CO,\;MO_2,\;R_n,\;TSP,\;PM_{10}$, HCHO, Offensive ordor. Subjective evaluation of residential environment is processed for the inhabitants who live in research space by testing environmental load in accordance with environment morphology, exterior environmental factor and post occupancy correlation and influence of attention.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest types and a model of utilization of abolished school as facilities of the aged in rural area. There are various types of abolished school. One of them is the facilities of the aged. It is not general type, but special case according to regions. So, this study is focused on the possibility of utilization for it. We expect that abolished school make an offer a type of facilities of the aged. By surveying exterior and interior space, and analysing the actual conditions of facilities and data of various types, I propose types of abolished school, design factors and model of using facilities of the aged.
