  • Let 𝓜 be a stable Serre subcategory of the category of R-modules. We introduce the concept of 𝓜-minimax R-modules and investigate the local-global principle for generalized local cohomology modules that concerns to the 𝓜-minimaxness. We also provide the 𝓜-finiteness dimension f𝓜I (M, N) of M, N relative to I which is an extension the finiteness dimension fI (N) of a finitely generated R-module N relative to I.

  • Recently, in Korea, the septal extension graft from the septum or rib has become a common method of correcting a small or short nose. The success rate of this method has led to the blind faith that it provides superior tip projection and definition, and to the failure to notice its weaknesses. Even if there is a sufficient amount of cartilage, improper separation or fixation might waste the cartilage, resulting in an inefficient operation. Appropriate resection and effective fixation are essential factors for economical rhinoplasty. The septal extension graft is a remarkable procedure since it can control the nasal tip bidirectionally and three dimensionally. Nevertheless, it has a serious drawback since resection is responsible for septal weakness. Safe resection and firm reconstruction of the framework should be carried out. Operating on the basis of the principle of "safe harvest" and rebuilding the structures is important. Further, it is important to learn several techniques to manage septal weakness, insufficient cartilage quantity, and failure of the rigid frame during the surgery.

  • Although providing universal coverage for health care through the National Health Insurance(NHI) is a remarkable achievement, the issue of limited benefit coverage of the NHI has been at the core of national debate over how to improve its coverage. This study aims to evaluate benefit extension strategies and implemented policies with regard to the NHI since 1989 using 'policy window theory' proposed by John W. Kingdon. Understanding problem stream, policy stream, political stream, and coupling streams regarding the NHI, in particular benefit extension, would contribute to broaden policy debates and to develop more effective strategies for the future. Historically, political stream had opened policy window in the past two decades and policy streams can be characterized by three waves. Three streams have been coupled since 2003 and the government had a strong will to fulfill better performance of NHI coverage. Study findings indicate that identification of problem structure regarding NHI benefit was not connected with policy stream tightly. In addition, there has been limited discussion on policy goal and principles for extension coverage of the NHI. Policy strategies to improve coverage of the NHI should be linked to characteristics of problem and sought solutions under the principle which is expected to be sustainable through consensus in the society.

  • Working in an arbitrary Lorentz frame, we address the question of formulating the covariant variational principle for classical, single-particle, dissipative, relativistic mechanics. First, within a Minkowskian geometry, the basic properties of the proper time ${\tau}$ and the covariant velocity $u_{\mu}$ are recapitulated. Next, using a scalar function ${\psi}(x)$ and its negative derivatives ${\varphi}_{\mu}{^{\prime}}s$, we construct a covariant Lagrangian ${\Lambda}$ that generalizes the famous Bateman-Caldirola-Kanai Lagrangian of nonrelativistic frictional mechanics. Finally, we propose a deterministic model for ${\psi}$ (involving the drag coefficient A) whose explicit solution leads to relativistic damped Rayleigh motion in the rest frame of the medium.

Modeling for the Natural Vibration Analysis of a Rotating Thin Ring (회전하는 얇은 링의 고유진동 해석을 위한 모델링)

  • In this paper, we present the principle of virtual work, from which the exact non-linear equations of motion of a rotating ring can be derived, by using the theory of finite deformation. For a thin ring of which the effect of variation in curvature across the cross-section is neglected, the radial displacement and the extensional stress are determined from the principle of virtual work at the steady state where the ring is rotating with a constant angular velocity. And also we formulate systematically the governing equations concerned to the in-plane vibrations and the out-of-plane vibrations at the disturbed state by using the principle of virtual work which is expressed with the disturbed displacements about the steady state. The formulated governing equations are classified by four models along the cases of considering or neglecting all or partly the secondary effects of flexural shear, rotary inertia, circumferential extension, and twist inertia. The natural vibrations of thin rings are analyzed, and its results are compared and discussed.

Therefore, many methods for slope stability by this are applied. Failure happens according to dip and dip direction of slope. It is actuality that is connoting unstable element. This slope include coaly shale. Stability of slope failure this study takes place by road extension running examination for stability property calculate. Use this and examined stability about stereographic projection and wedge failure. Apply suitable reinforcement countermeasure about unstable cutting slope and analyzed stability. Wish to consider effective and robust processing plan of great principle earth and sand side securing stability. Hereafter with these data, is going to utilize in reinforcement and failure prevention.

  • The security issues related to IPv6 protocol have been focused on by many researchers and engineers. Especially, extension headers of IPv6 protocol provide various functionalities such as IP security, mobile IP, and in principle, it is said to give much more effective network services than the previous protocol, IPv4. In this paper, the cases are surveyed in which fragment header, that is one of many extension headers in IPv6 protocol, is abused and made to be the sources of threats. Prevention mechanisms are also surveyed to countermeasure the threats.
