  • In the MIPv6 network, when mobile nodes move into new newtwork, they need to find the new access router and points(AR/AP) for the newtwork. Unless they are not connected to authorized AR/APs, they can be exposed to a lot of attacks. In this paper we propose a protocol to authenticate AR/AR and MN each other. This protocol is based on the public key scheme which is used in the SEcure Neighbor Discovery(SEND) protocol.

  • In this study, after exposing the normal concrete outside at $-20^{\circ}C$, when the above scored $20^{\circ}C$, we analyzed the limit points of the initial early frost damage to the concrete. As a result, it was confirmed that the degree of the upper part of the concrete when it was exposed outside the freezing point for 6 hours was zero.

  • This study investigates the impact of precautionary measures, such as isolating exposed individuals, wearing masks, and maintaining physical distance, on preventing infectious disease. A deterministic SEIQHRV epidemic model is employed for this purpose. The model's positivity, boundedness, disease-free, and endemic equilibrium points are identified. A sensitivity test assesses the impact of preventive measures on infected classes. Results show that a basic reproduction number less than unity drives disease eradiction, while a higher unity value encourages the adoption of preventive measures.

The Relations between Smoking and Exposure to Anti-Smoking Promotion Media in Middle School Students (중학생의 흡연과 금연홍보매체노출과의 관련성)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to examine the relations between exposure to anti-smoking promotion media and smoking, targeting middle school students who were exposed to various media of promotion. Methods: The subjects of the study were 38,820 middle school students who answered to the 2007 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey. Answers of 37,714 subjects were used for the final analysis except those of 1,106 that could not be used to judge anti-smoking promotion media and prevalence of smoking as they were considered insincere to the questions. We used SPSS of version 17.0. This study conducted a chi-square test to identify smoking rate according to characteristics of subjects and a multivariate logistic regression analysis to identify whether they are independently significant. Results: Smoking rate increased as the subjects were in higher grades. From the results of multivariate logistic regression, odds ratio(OR) at points 5~6 of the first graders that had never been exposed to anti-smoking promotion media was 0.49(95% CI=0.33-0.74), which was significantly low. And OR at points 5~6 of the third graders was 0.57(95% CI=0.43-0.76), significantly low. Conclusions: This study identified the relations between exposure to anti-smoking promotion media and smoking of middle school students in Korea.

The Effect of Sport Drink Ingestion on the Physical Fatigue Level and Heart Rate during Prolonged Exposure in Hot Ambient Temperature in Professional Golfers (장시간 고온 환경 노출시 수분의 섭취가 프로골프선수들의 신체피로도 및 심박수에 미치는 영향)

  • We investigated the effects of prolonged exposure in hot environmental condition and ingestion of fluid on various physiological variables including plasma glucose, lactate, the rating of perceived exertion (RPE), and heart rate as well as golf putting performance. Six male professional golfers were voluntarily participated in three different putting trials which were separated by seven days of time interval period. Three different putting trials were conducted at either 20℃ or 32℃, or 32℃ + Fluid ingestion. Performing 32℃ + Fluid ingestion trial, all subject ingested sport drink as much as their body mass was decreased. For each experiment, all subjects were undertaken total 48 putting, which separated by four x 12 putting in four different time points (i.e., Rest, 1 hr, 2 hr, and 3 hr). Plasma glucose concentration was significantly decreased with hot ambient condition but it was almost fully recovered by fluid ingestion. Plasma lactate concentration was significantly higher when subjects were exposed in hot environmental condition, and it did not change with fluid ingestion. There was a no different in putting performance and psychological fatigue level (performed by GRID test) at any environmental conditions. The RPE, commonly used for evaluating of physical fatigue level, was significantly dropped by fluid ingestion which indicates lower physical fatigue level. In addition to this, heart rate (HR) was also significantly decreased after fluid ingestion. Based on these results, it was concluded that the ingestion of fluid during prolonged exposure in hot ambient condition decrease the degree of physical fatigue levels and heart rate, which will possibly improve the golf performance when exposed in extreme weather condition in summer.   • In fashion there was a move away from the ascetic of the Gothic according to the appear-ance of a new spirit at the beginning of the fourteenth centuries initially in Italy. The new spirit Humanism applied their interest not to the universal but to the individual and particular. The Renaissace costume style based on the Humanism was sharp angled and curvy and had a grotesque silhouette with the exaggerated and tense decorations. The purpose of this study is researching the background led to the balanced costume style characterized by unique details. out of the tastte for luxury and beauty grew a new style known as slashing in which seams were left open and colored linigs thrust through or cuts were made in an entire cos-tume and contrasting material puffed out of the cuts. With the slashes another element was characterized in the high Renaissance cos-tume style that was the use of points or lace to hold a costume together. For the masculint costumes pads became into a fashion and were used for forming the antinatural artificial and bulky silhouettes. The body was distorted and tensed by putting the pads into the sleeves and bodice. The jacket with a full rounded bodice like a bow known as peascod belly and haut de chausses a onion-shaped trunk hose with a codipiece ap-peared and grew one of the most characteristic of Renaissance style. According to these sociological changes the view of the beauty based on the human body and in both of men and women the costume style was changed very much to emphasixed their physical beauty and finally it grew a grotesque style and even more a exposed style that exposed a part of their body. Those backgrounds as were stated above can be said to lead to the appearance of the grotesque style in the Renaissance Age.

An Approach to Detect Health Risk of Dioxins

  • March 19, 1999, the renovation qf the runway of the Bo-Fai ai1field in Hua Hin, Prachubk-erikhan, Thailand, unearthed chemicals which were left over from the project "anch Hand Operation" held during the Vietnam war era. The chemical mixtures were analyzed by the US EPA, the Department oj Medical Sciences (DMSc), Ministry oj Public Health (MoPH) and the Pollution Control Department (PCD), the Ministry oj Science Technology and Environment (MOSTE) of Thailand, The samples were found to contain several defoliants used in the operation. They were 2,4-D, 2,4,5-T, Dicamba, Cocydelic acid, and Dioxins. Due to the complexity of the issue, the multiplicity of possible health effects, and the socio-economic implications for imports and exports, the Thai Society of Toxicology submitted a proposal to request World Health Organization (WHO), Geneva. The assistance is for the area of chemical safety and called for immediate action to explore the magnitude qf risk involved with Dioxins. In this paper we present our approach to health risk assessment which takes into an account the epidemiological studies of high-risk group exposed to the Ranch Hand operation. Dioxins are endocrine disruption chemicals which public concerns are developed due to presumption that a hazard exists (www.eva.gov/dioxins/html) for which current methodologies are deemed insufficient. The recent concepts of how oxidative stress toxicants may affect health end points and biomarkers of exposure of exposed individuals are discussed. While research activities are undergoing, The Thai Society of Toxicology do not anticipate significant risk to local residents and the environment due to our concurrence with opinion from the international experts invited by the World Health Organization proposed to the local experts at a workshop in Bangkok.n Bangkok.

An Analysis on the Status of Inappropriate Material Posting and Personal Information Exposure in Elementary Schools' Web Sites (초등학교 홈페이지에서의 불건전 정보 유통 및 개인정보 노출 실태 분석)

  • In this paper, an investigation on internet safety of 244 national or public elementary schools' web sites was performed with two points of view : inappropriate material posting and personal information exposure. The investigation results showed that obscene materials and commercial advertisements were uploaded into the bulletin board(67.2%) and students' personal information such as photograph, address, telephone number were exposed(87.3%). Most of the inappropriate materials were posted by auto-register programs. This problem was occurred due to reckless bulletin board opening and inappropriate management. On the contrary, personal information was exposed by teachers and students. They didn't not care about their personal information. It shows the fact that they have not recognized the danger of personal information exposure. Therefore managing real-name membership and enforcing permission to bulletin board were required to construct and use a safe school web site. Teachers have to understand not only negative effects appeared in a school web site but also latent dangerous factors.

A Study on the Variation of Mechanical Properties Due to Thermal Aging in 2.25Cr-1Mo Boiler Tube Steel (2.25Cr-1Mo 강의 열화와 기계적 성질변화에 관한 연구)

  • As recieved boiler tuve steel was aged artificially at $650^{\circ}C$ and$690^{\circ}C$ for various time duration to simulate the material deterioration which could be occurred during the operation of fossiol power plants. And the tensile tests, the microhardness tests and the characterization of carbides formed in the aging process were performed to asses the relationship between the mechanical properties and the effect of thermal aging. Furthernore, the amout of Mo-rich carbide were investigated by ondestructive method by noticing the fact that formation of Mo-rich carbide were investigated by ondestructive melthod by noticing the fact that formation of Mo-rich carbides($Mo_6C$) which stabilizes lastly affects the mechanical properties. It was known that the microhardness results of service exposed materials were similar to the ones which are aged at $650^{\circ}C$. The room temperature measurement showed small variation in the yield points and ultimate strength in materials aged at $650^{\circ}C$. Those properties at $540^{\circ}C$ showed the abrupt decrease compared with as received material even if short aging time. And it was found that $650^{\circ}C$ $690^{\circ}C$ aging cause different effects on mechanical properties, although the temperature time parameters(LMP;Larson-Miller parameter) are same. And it was concluded that the aigng at $650^{\circ}C$ is more appropriate to simulate the service exposed condition. Finally, the relationship between high temperature tensile properties and Ip values were established, which offers a potential way of reliability tests onthe power plant components.

Optimal Control Scheme for SEIR Model in Viral Communications (Viral 통신에서의 SEIR모델을 위한 최적제어 기법)

  • The susceptible, exposed, infectious, and recovered model (SEIR) is used extensively in the field of epidemiology. On the other hand, dissemination information among users through internet grows exponentially. This information spreading can be modeled as an epidemic. In this paper, we derive the mathematical model of SEIR in viral communication from the view of optimal control theory. Overall the methods based on classical calculus, In order to solve the optimal control problem, proved to be more efficient and accurate. According to Pontryagin's minimum principle (PMP) the Hamiltonian function must be optimized by the control variables at all points along the solution trajectory. We present our method based on the PMP and forward backward algorithm. In this algorithm, one should integrate forward in time for the state equations then integrate backward in time for the adjoint equations resulting from the optimality conditions. The problem is mathematically analyzed and numerically solved as well.
