Knowledge for the CAD system is formulated from plasticity theories experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. The system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD with a personal computer and is composed of three main modules which are input and shape treatment flat pattern layout and strip layout module. Based on knowledge-based rules the system is design by considering several factors such as radius and angle of bend material and thickness of product complexities of blank geometry and punch profile bending sequence and availability of press. Strip layout drawing automatically generated by piercing with punch profiles divided into for external area is simulated in 3-D graphic forms including bending sequences for the product with piercing and bending. Results obtained using the modules enable the manufacture of electronic products to be more efficient in this field.

  • This paper proposes a parallel control method of a modular DC/DC converter for electric vehicle (EV) chargers. The EV chargers have been increasing the power capacity using modular converters. There are output current imbalances between the modules, which are caused by the difference of the impedance, delay of the gate driver, and error of the sensors. The conventional strategies for the equal distribution of the output current cause the voltage drop or the high volume and cost of the converters. Therefore, the proposed parallel control strategy effectively balances the output current of modules using a current compensation method. The proposed strategy is verified by simulations. Additional experimental results will be added under various conditions.

  • The Precast concrete(PC) modular structures are a method of assembling pre-fabricated unit modules in the construction site. The essential aim of modular structures is to introduce a connection method that can ensure splicing performance and effectively resist shear strength. This study proposed PC module using a connecting plate that can replace splice sleeves and shear keys used in the conventional PC modular structures. To evaluate the splicing performance and shear capacity of the proposed method, the shear test was conducted by fabricating one monolithic reinforced concrete(RC) beam and two PC modular beams with a shear span-to-depth ratio as variables. The experimental results showed that the shear capacity of the PC modular beam was about 89% compared to that of the RC beam, and showed a failure of the RC beam according to the shear span-to-depth ratio. Therefore, it was considered that the connecting plate effectively transferred the stress between each PC module through the joint and ensure integrity. In addition, the applicability of shear strength equation of ACI 318-19 and Zsutty's equation to PC modular beams were evaluated. Results demonstrated that the improved shear strength equations are needed to consider reduction of shear strength in PC modules.

  • Purpose: This study proposes a casing type of shear key to connect with floating breakwater modules composed of concrete and PE(Poly Ethylene), and evaluates the structural performance of the shear key. Method: According to Eurocode, extreme load tests of shear keys with several cross-sections were conducted. Result: The maximum shear resistance of the casing type is 1.5 times than those of the plain concrete type, and the use of the casing shear key leads to ductile behaviors after its peak shear resistance than the shear key made of reinforced concrete. Conclusion: The use of the proposed casing type of shear key will contributes to improve the safety of the shear connection between modular structures.

  • In this paper, We use the APL as IDL when simulation a 16-bit SIP. It was possible for IDL to represent and describe a structure of a H/W which other HDL have not. Because We partitioned whole system to various modules when desingning processor, We adpoted a direct decoding method. A designed each modules are executed according to 12-bit control word was inputed through experimental framework, Which were composed to symbolized instructions. In here, By setting instruction codes of the SIP using binary code, We composed instruction format and assembler instruction, and verified the SIP behaviour that try to implement by entering a presented instruction set through experimental framework. In a presented SIP, Because inputing program are a symbolized language, Designer and user will easily understand behaviour of system. Especially, Because we can immediatly specify a unit function within SIP, We will use variously and easily the library cell.

  • In this paper, the basic data regarding the application of the MSC (Modular Steel Concrete) beam are presented by comparing the experimental value with the theoretical value, focusing on the bending behavior of the Lip-type MSC beam, which is composed of steel and concrete. Considerable manpower is needed to fabricate the traditional MSC beam, particularly for the tasks of cutting, welding, etc. Because much time is needed to fabricate the traditional SC beam, the prefabrication concept is introduced, easily produce the required size of the SC beam by prefabricating the side module and the lower module, which is made up of a steel sheet. The result indicates that the method of uniting the modules, an d the composition method with concrete, should be improved. The proposed MSC beam can be used as a new structural member by increasing its coherent reinforcement with modules and the composition ratio of steel and concrete through a future study.

  • In this paper, a motor gearbox fault-detection system based on a hierarchical flow-based model is proposed. The proposed system is used for the anomaly detection of a motion sound-based actuator module. The proposed flow-based model, which is a generative model, learns by directly modeling a data distribution function. As the objective function is the maximum likelihood value of the input data, the training is stable and simple to use for anomaly detection. The operation sound of a car's side-view mirror motor is converted into a Mel-spectrogram image, consisting of a folding signal and an unfolding signal, and used as training data in this experiment. The proposed system is composed of an encoder and a decoder. The data extracted from the layer of the pretrained feature extractor are used as the decoder input data in the encoder. This information is used in the decoder by performing an interlayer cross-scale convolution operation. The experimental results indicate that the context information of various dimensions extracted from the interlayer hierarchical data improves the defect detection accuracy. This paper is notable because it uses acoustic data and a normalizing flow model to detect outliers based on the features of experimental data.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop a simulation-based education course and to evaluate the results after the application for second year nursing students. Methods: This study was a non-equivalent control pre-post design. Based on the clinical situation scenarios about patients with COPD and MI, a total of two simulation-based learning modules was developed. Pretest and posttest was conducted to evaluate the difference in critical thinking disposition, problem solving, and clinical competence between two groups of 102 students for the experimental group, 2007 and 90 students for the control group, 2006. The experimental group conducted a clinical performance evaluation in the final test, on December 10, 2007. Results: In the experimental group, knowledge related to learning objectives was significantly increased and core intervention was performed almost exactly, but the same result was not observed in domains of analysis of laboratory test, and nursing education for patients. Self-evaluated clinical competence and problem solving level were significantly more improved in the experimental group than control group, but critical thinking disposition level wasn't. Conclusion: In conclusion, a simulation-based education course needs to utilize self-directed learning module like computer-based learning through web contents and MicroSim and video productions for improving nursing students' critical thinking.

  • practice in operating room nursing and to examine the learning effects. Methods: Based on content and need analysis, 9 learning modules were developed for nursing care in operating rooms and with operating equipment. To verify the effects of the program, a quasi- experimental pretest-posttest control group design was employed. The participants in this study were 74 third-year nursing students (34 in the experimental and 40 in the control group) from a junior college in G-city, Korea, who were engaged in a one week clinical practicum in an operating unit. Frequencies, $X^2$-test and t-test with the SPSS program 17.0 were used to analyze the data. Results: Knowledge was significantly higher in the experimental group compared to the control group (p=.018). However, there was no significant difference between the two groups in self-directed learning. The experimental group had significantly higher motivation toward learning, which was examined posttest only (p=.027). Conclusion: These results indicate that the implementation of an e-Learning program needs to be continued as an effective educational tool, but more research on the best way to implement e-Learning in students' practicum is needed.
