핵연료 집합체에 대한 수력적 양력의 해석 (Analysis of Hydraulic Lift Force of a Fuel Assembly)

  • 유체 유동상의 인자로 구성된 핵연료집합체에 걸리는 수력적 양력의 정확한 표현식은 핵연료의 건전성 설계 및 해석에 중요한 인자이다. 그러나 현재까지 이 양력에 대한 이론적인 해석이 제대로 이루어지고 있지 않아 이 분야에 혼란이 빚어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 핵연료 집합체에 걸리는 수력적 양력에 대한 정확한 표현식을 이론적인 고찰을 통하여 유도하였으며 또한 양력에 관련된 제반 힘 요소들 즉, 압력강하, 부력, 전단응력, 집합체하중, 상호간의 관계를 검토하였다. 유도된 정확한 이론식을 이용하여 양력에 관한 간이식 오차의 특성을 분석한 결과 오차는 4가지 항으로 구성됨과 총 오차의 크기는 노심 유량의 변화 방향에 따라 달라짐을 알 수 있었다. 정량적인 분석을 COBRAIV-I를 이용하여 수행한 결과 총 오차의 크기는 약 1% 정도임이 밝혀졌다.

  • In this paper, new Partial Discharge (PD) detection technique using Pockels cell was proposed and considerable apparent chaotic characteristics were discussed. For this purpose, PD was generated from needle-plane electrode in air and detected by optical measuring system using Pockels cell, based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer, consisting of He-Ne laser, single mode optical fiber, 50/50 beam splitter and photo detector. A qualitative analysis was carried out by drawing Return map for the normalized time series of the detected PD signals. The results are as follows:(a) Fixed points, between 0.7 and 1.0, are appeared clearly in the right upper area of the return map as the increase in the number of obtained data.(b) Considerable periodicity have been remarked even though exact period and length can not be determined.(c) The self-similarity can be also observed inasmuch as the late paths do not follow the previous ones. Accordingly, exact quantitative analysis such as embedding dimension, fractal dimension, and Lyapunov exponents should be carried out for deducing the quantitative properties regarding PD phenomena.

Exact solution for dynamic response of size dependent torsional vibration of CNT subjected to linear and harmonic loadings

  • Rotating systems concern with torsional vibration, and it should be considered in vibration analysis. To do this, the time-dependent torsional vibrations in a single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) under the linear and harmonic external torque, are investigated in this paper. Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory is considered to demonstrate the nonlocality and constitutive relations. Hamilton's principle is established to derive the governing equation of motion and consequently related boundary conditions. An analytical method, called the Galerkin method, is utilized to discretize the driven differential equations. Linear and harmonic torsional loads, along with determined amplitude, are applied to the SWCNT as the external torques. SWCNT is considered under the clamped-clamped end supports. In free vibration, analysis of small scale effect reveals the capability of natural frequencies in different modes, and this results desirably are in coincidence with another study. The forced torsional vibration in the time domain, especially for carbon nanotubes, has not been done before in the previous works. The previous forced studies were devoted to the transverse vibrations. It should be emphasized that the dynamical analysis of torsion is novel, workable, and at the beginning of the path. The variations of nonlocal parameter, CNT's thickness, and the influence of excitation frequency on time-dependent angular displacement and nondimensional angular displacement are investigated in the context.

출력 위상을 고려한 크로스오버 접합의 해석 및 설계 (Analysis and Design of Crossover Junctions including Output Phase)

  • 본 논문에서는 크로스오버 접합에서 출력 위상을 고려한 회로해석 및 설계 방법을 제시한다. 먼저 even-odd 분석을 통해 임의의 위상을 가지는 크로스오버 접합이 만족시켜야 할 반사계수 및 임피던스 파라미터에 대한 일반해를 해석적으로 유도하였다. 또한 주어진 일반해를 실제적인 크로스오버 접합회로 구조에 적용하여 임의의 츨력 위상값을 가지는 크로스오버 접합의 정확한 설계 공식을 도출하였으며 그 결과가 기존의 연구에서 제시된 결과와 부합함을 확인하였다. 이를 이용하여 설계된 회로가 설계목표와 일치하는 정확한 출력 위상을 가지는 크로스오버 접합으로서의 성능을 만족하는 것을 입증하였다.

  • Design of a rational earth volume conversion coefficient is required as the earth volume conversion coefficient may give great influence on construction work volume and construction costs in the civil engineering works where large-scaled earth volume is excavated. However, there are a great deal of difficulties in the calculation of the exact spoil surface earth and Insufficient earth volume by adopting the figures presented on the generally used design specifications which are not the results obtained from the selection tests in calculating the earth volume conversion coefficient. In this connection, it would be desirable to calculate the earth volume conversion coefficient by carrying out large-scaled site test adequate for the relevant environment. In consequence, this study aims at calculating the exact earth volume conversion coefficient of cutting and banking areas of weathering rocks in large-scaled construction sites where land is being developed into home lots. For this, we have excavated the respective 20 sites of the cutting and banking areas in the said site and then calculated the volume after the excavation. As a result, the relative exactness degree of the crossing was calculated at 0.5% in average. The relative exactness degree of 0.5% in the volume may be judged as an exact measurement as it corresponds to 0.17% of the relative exactness degree in the length measurement. We have calculated the exact earth volume conversion coefficient by the use of function ratio as per the wet unit weight and the indoor soil quality test as per volume calculated. And then we have found out minor differences as a result of the comparison and analysis with the earth volume conversion coefficient determined by the dry unit weight test as per sand replacement method. This may be judged as a rational design method for the calculation of earth volume conversion coefficient, as well as high reliability of site test as a precision photogrammetry is adopted for volume measurement of the irregular excavating areas.

편심축하중을 받는 비대칭 박벽보의 엄밀한 동적강도행렬 (Exact Dynamic Stiffness Matrix of Nonsymmetric Thin-walled Beams Subjected to Eccentrically Axial Forces)

  • 비대칭단면을 갖는 박벽 직선보의 3차원 자유진동해석을 수행하기 위하여 엄밀한 요소강도행렬을 유도한다. 단면이 균일한 비대칭 박벽 탄성보에 대하여 운동방정식, 힘-변위 관계식을 유도하고 엄밀한 동적강도행렬을 수치적으로 산정하는 방법을 제시한다. 14개의 변위파라미터를 도입하여 고차의 연립미분방정식을 1차 연립미분방정식으로 바꾸고, 비대칭행렬을 갖는 선형 고유치문제의 해를 복소수영역에서 구한다. 이를 이용하여 절점변위에 대한 처짐함수을 엄밀히 구하고, 재단력-변위 관계식을 이용하여 엄밀한 동적요소강도행렬을 산정한다. 본 방법의 타당성을 보이기 위하여 비대칭 박벽보의 고유진동수를 계산하고, 해석해, 혹은 3차 Hermitian 다항식을 사용한 보요소 및 ABAQUS를 사용한 유한요소 해석결과와 비교한다.

박벽보-기둥 요소의 개선된 정적 요소강성행렬 (Improved Static Element Stiffness Matrix of Thin-Walled Beam-Column Elements)

  • 비대칭 단면을 갖는 박벽보의 3차원 휨-배틂 좌굴해석 및 정적해석을 위하여, 평형방정식과 힘-변위 관계식을 이용하여 엄밀한 정적요소강성행렬을 수치적으로 산정하는 개선된 기법을 제시한다. 먼저 14개의 변위피라미터를 도입하여 고차의 연립미분방정식을 1차 연립미분방정식으로 변환하고, 복소수 영역에서 선형고유치문제를 해를 구한다. 이 경우 동적강성행렬을 산정하는 경우와는 달리 복수개의 '영'의 고유치가 발생한다. 이에 대응하는 변위피라미터의 다항식을 항등식 조거능로부터 구하고, 이를 고유치와 결합하여 박벽보 요소의 엄밀한 처짐함수를 구한다. 이렇게 구한 엄밀한 처짐함수에 재단력-변위 관계식을 적용하여 세가지 초기단면력 조건에 대응하는 엄밀한 정적요소강성행렬을 산정한다. 본 방법의 타당성을 보이기 위하여 비대칭 박벽보의 좌굴하중과 처짐값을 계산하고 해석해나 ABAQUS 쉘요소를 이용한 해석결과 및 직선보요소를 사용한 유한요소해의 결과와 비교, 검증한다.

Mechanical buckling of FG-CNTs reinforced composite plate with parabolic distribution using Hamilton's energy principle

  • The incorporation of carbon nanotubes in a polymer matrix makes it possible to obtain nanocomposite materials with exceptional properties. It's in this scientific background that this work was based. There are several theories that deal with the behavior of plates, in this research based on the Mindlin-Reissner theory that takes into account the transversal shear effect, for analysis of the critical buckling load of a reinforced polymer plate with parabolic distribution of carbon nanotubes. The equations of the model are derived and the critical loads of linear and parabolic distribution of carbon nanotubes are obtained. With different disposition of nanotubes of carbon in the polymer matrix, the effects of different parameters such as the volume fractions, the plate geometric ratios and the number of modes on the critical load buckling are analysed and discussed. The results show that the critical buckling load of parabolic distribution is larger than the linear distribution. This variation is attributed to the concentration of reinforcement (CNTs) at the top and bottom faces for the X-CNT type which make the plate more rigid against buckling.

지진 데이터 생성 및 격납건물 시간이력 해석 (Generation of Simulated Earthquakes and Time-history Dynamic Analysis of Containment Building)

  • In the seismic response analysis, the artificial earthquake time history is generated to do the exact seismic analysis for the complex structural system like as containment building. In the present study the several simulated earthquakes are generated by use of SIMQKE program and the time history dynamic analysis of containment building is performed. Also, the seismic responses are statistically analyzed. The seismic response uncertainty arisen from the simulation of earthquakes is one of major uncertainties and the statistical description is needed to account for the random nature of earthquake.

  • This paper introduces a fast Fourier transform (FFT)-based spectral analysis method for the transient responses as well as the steady-state responses of linear discrete systems. The force vibration of a viscously damped three-DOF system is considered as the illustrative numerical example. The proposed spectral analysis method is evaluated by comparing with the exact analytical solutions as well as with the numerical solutions obtained by the Runge-Kutta method.
