Our study focuses on empirical findings of the critical factors which influence the performance of ERP system in business. The study is mainly interested in examining the influence of the characteristics of late process of adopting ERP called "Go-Live" phase with the critical issues like customizing, transformational process of standardization, phased implementation, concurrent operation and use with the current systems on users' ERP satisfaction. The analyses of the data conducted thru moderated regression analysis and subgroup analysis. Using moderated regression analysis, we first examined the effect of moderator variables like customizing, process standardization, sequential use, concurrent use with the current systems. And then, using subgroup analysis is to verify directions of the moderator effects. Having knowledge on the characteristics of ERP Go-Live process can lead to success of ERP system in business. Our results can be beneficial to those organizations who want to adopt and maintain ERP system effectively.

Currently, many organizations introduce ERP system as a key enabler of business strategic accomplishment and it can improve productivity and efficiency of organizations by integration and managing enterprise resources. Already many organizations have introduce ERP system and the number of introduced ERP system is increasing steadily. Unfortunately, even though organizations have invested much money, previous studies showed the ERP systems had not always turned in good result. It is easy to find studies that suggest successful implementing strategies for ERP systems. Even if the importance of ERP change management has been emphasized, studies for change management are seldom. This study reviewed the previous literature on strategic use of change management in enterprise. In order to establish a successful implementation of ERP, this paper suggests proper solutions to conduct change management according to implementation phase with activity and output, especially analyzing successful organizations in implementing ERP system through consistent change management.

Effective Training has been recognized as one of the most important success factors for enterprise resource planning (ERP) system operations. However, both ERP system vendors and user companies have failed to provide an effective training method for users because practical business process cases cannot be formalized. Also, incomplete testing by ERP system vendors results in insufficient and ineffective user training. This paper suggests a scenario framework for ERP testing and training (SF-ETT). SF-ETT is constructed by expanding the practice-based ERP testing scenario construction framework designed for unERPII. SF-ETT contains concrete business process entities that users understand actually and provides practice definition, notation, and architecture.

정보기술은 전략적으로 도입되어야 하고 그를 위해서는 경영전략의 선행수립이 필수적이다. 부서나 기능중심의 접근으로는 개발의 중복, 기능이나 부서간 자료의 불일치라는 문제점을 발생시킨다. ERP는 IT의 통합적 구현을 위한 개념이자 제품이다. ERP를 통해 프로세스적으로 전사적 업무흐름을 재설계하고 통합하고, 환경변화에 유연한 정보시스템을 구현할 수 있다. ERP의 기본사상이 업무중심의 접근이라면 현업사용자의 역할은 상당한 비중을 가질 것이며, 이것이 곧 사용자주도형 ERP구현이라고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 한 사례를 통해서 현업위주의 ERP시스템 개발의 정당성을 확인하고자 한다.

ERP system is a fundamental system that is commonly adopted by most companies that intend to take part in e-business. However, few companies are running ERP systems successfully because of inaccuracy in data managed by ERP system. In this paper, we propose a model and the building process of item ontology which organize concepts describing all items managed by enterprises. In addition, we design and implement a system to create and manage item ontologies. We interface our system with a commercial ERP system, then install and run these systems on a manufacturing company. Our item ontologies and management system might help enterprises when they try to take part in e-business.

Implementing ERP system is inherently a very complex task that involves ongoing training employees to use the new system. However, the traditional methods of ERP training and education have presented many problems. A new form of training, e-learning, has emerged. E-learning enables trainees to sign on classes without restrictions of time, distance, and classroom availability. We suggested several usage strategies and e-learning combined model for ERP related organizational change management.

As many companies have adopted and used ERP systems, concerns about ERP performance also have increased. The purpose of this research is to examine the relationships between qualitative variables and quantitative variables measuring ERP performances. Qualitative research, widely used in MIS research, typically examines perceived usefulness of ERP, such as information quality, system quality, system satisfaction. Quantitative research, often done in accounting research, usually examines ERP performance based on financial statements. An empirical study led to the following conclusions: 1) There were significant correlations among the qualitative variables measuring perceived usefulness of ERP; 2) Significant correlations were also observed among the quantitative variables based on financial statements; 3) However, no significant correlations was found between the qualitative variables and quantitative variables measuring ERP performance.

Recently, the Korean Hotel market has expanded to Asia rapidly including China. However Korean hotels' competitiveness has weaken with Korean won's appreciation and increasing real estate cost. To cope with these problems, Korean hotels are varying and differentiating their services and adopting advanced information system such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) System. ERP Systems requires large amount of cost and time, otherwise successful implementation is not guaranteed. Thus, It is necessary to analyze critical success factors and calculate effect before investment on the ERP system implementation. In this study, I surveyed a Five-star ranked Hotel, named R. To find a method of investment effect calculation. This research is conducted on the basis of previous studies and AHP(analytic hierarchical process), which is suggested by Saaty. Finally, This study presents a significant method of analysis and calculation on investment effect of Hotel's ERP system based on the Hotel R's case.

The purpose of this study is to derive critical success factors for ERP system implementation by integrating managerial, technical, human resource and organizational culture factors which have been proposed as influencing factors for the performance of ERP system implementation in previous studies. The main results of this study are as follows. First, it derives 33 success factors through comprehensive review of various factors which may affect ERP system implementation performance, and categorizes them into one of three stages : preparation stage, implement stage, and settle-down and stabilization stage. Second, this study tests whether there are different correlations or not between the success factors of each ERP system implementation stage and ERP system implementation performance depending upon the strategies of ERP system implementation. As a result, it is shown that some of success factors have significantly different correlations with performance variables in accordance with BPR implementation timing.
