  • We consider the $R^k$-valued $(k \geq 1)$ process ${X_n}$ generated by $X_n + 1 = f(X_n)+e_{n+1}$, where $f(x) = (h(x),x^{(1)},x^{(1)},\cdots,x{(k-1)})'$. We assume that h is a real-valued measuable function on $R^k$ and that $e_n = (e'_n,0,\cdot,0)'$ where ${e'_n}$ are independent and identically distributed random variables. We obtained a practical criteria guaranteeing a given process to be geometrically ergodic. Sufficient condition for transience is also given.

  • This paper considers the asymptotic behaviors of the processes generated by the classical ergodic tent map that is defined on the unit interval. We develop a sequential empirical process and get the uniform version of law of iterated logarithm for the tent map by using the bracketing entropy method.

  • The baker transformation is an ergodic transformation defined on the half open unit square. This paper considers the limiting behavior of the partial sum process of a martingale sequence constructed from the baker transformation. We get the uniform law of large numbers for the baker transformation.

  • 본 논문에서는 Left-Right HMM 모델에 기초를 둔 음질 향상 방법을 제안하였다. 기존 HMM에 기초를 둔 음질 향상 방법은 ergodic HMM에 기초를 두고 음질을 향상시켰다. 본 논문에서는 Left-Right HMM이 현재 상태에서 다음상태로만 변하는 성질을 이용하여 현재의 상태를 결정하여 다음 프레임에서 현재와 다음 상태에서만 계산을 하는 방법을 사용하였다. 그 결과 기존의 방법에 비해 많은 시간을 줄일 수 있었다.

  • An improved algorithm for simulation of multi-variate random processes has been presented. It is based on the spectral representation method. The conventional methods give sample time histories which satisfy the target spectral density matrix only in the sense of ensemble average. However, the present method can generate sample functions which satisfy the target spectra in the ergodic sense. Example analysis is given for the simulation of earthquake accelerations with three components.

간섭정렬 기술동향 및 셀룰라 시스템 응용

  • 본고에서는 최근 학계 및 산업계에서 활발히 연구되고 있는 간섭정렬 기술동향에 대해 소개한다. 특히 Signal Space 간섭정렬, Signal Scale 간섭정렬, Ergodic 간섭정렬의 기본 개념과 장단점 및 응용분야를 정리하였다. 또한 셀룰라 무선망에서의 간섭정렬에 대해 소개한다. 크게 단일안테나 환경과 다중안테나 환경에서의 간섭정렬로 나뉠 수 있으며, 각각의 경우에 대해 기술동향 및 주요 연구결과를 정리하였다. 마지막으로 최근 Reverse TDD, 즉 상향링크와 하향링크가 공존하는 환경에서의 간섭정렬을 통해 다중안테나 셀룰라 무선망의 자유도를 획기적으로 개선 할 수 있는 연구결과를 소개한다.

  • It has been known that if T and S are even Kakutani equivalent, then there exists U such that T and U are $\alpha$-equivalent and S and U are $\beta$-equivalent where $\alpha$ and $\beta$ are irrationally related. In this paper we give a complete discrete proof of this theorem without using R-actions.

  • Let $\left{K_{\alpha}\right}_{{\alpha}{\in}{\mathbb{R}}}$ be the multifractal spectrums of a perturbed Cantor set K. We find the set of values ${\alpha}$ of nonempty set $K_{\alpha}$ by using the Birkhoff ergodic theorem. And we also show that such $K_{\alpha}$ is a fractal set in the sense of Taylor [12].

MINIMAL POLYNOMIAL DYNAMICS ON THE p-ADIC INTEGERS

  • In this paper, we present a method of characterizing minimal polynomials on the ring 𝐙p of p-adic integers in terms of their coefficients for an arbitrary prime p. We first revisit and provide alternative proofs of the known minimality criteria given by Larin [11] for p = 2 and Durand and Paccaut [6] for p = 3, and then we show that for any prime p ≥ 5, the proposed method enables us to classify all possible minimal polynomials on 𝐙p in terms of their coefficients, provided that two prescribed prerequisites for minimality are satisfied.

  • The aim of this work is to present some interesting results on weighted ergodic functions and prove the existence and uniqueness of Stepanov-like pseudo almost automorphic solutions using the spectral decomposition of the phase space developed by Adimy and co-authors. We also give the next challenge of this work.
