Rule Generation using Rough set and Hierarchical Structure (러프집합과 계층적 구조를 이용한 규칙생성)

  • This paper deals with the rule generation from data for control system and data mining using rough set. If the cores and reducts are searched for without consideration of the frequency of data belonging to the same equivalent class, the unnecessary attributes may not be discarded, and the resultant rules don't represent well the characteristics of the data. To improve this, we handle the inconsistent data with a probability measure defined by support, As a result the effect of uncertainty in knowledge reduction can be reduced to some extent. Also we construct the rule base in a hierarchical structure by applying core as the classification criteria at each level. If more than one core exist, the coverage degree is used to select an appropriate one among then to increase the classification rate. The proposed method gives more proper and effective rule base in compatibility and size. For some data mining example the simulations are performed to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, the theoretical development to stabilize a class of uncertain time-delay systems via sliding mode control is presented. The system under consideration is described in state space model containing state delay, uncertain parameters and disturbance. The main idea is to reduce the state of delayed system, by employing the generalize linear transformation, into an equivalent one with no delay inside, which is easier to analyze its behavior and stability. Then, the sliding control approach is employed to find the stabilizing control law. Finally, a numerical simulation is illustrated to show the algorithm for applying the proposed theorems and the efffetiveness of the designed control law in stabilizing the controlled systems.

  • In this paper, the author focuses on the teaching-level and learning-level of the completeness axiom and its applications on [0,1] and $\mathbb{R}$, $\mathbb{R}{\times}\mathbb{R}$, $\mathbb{R}{\times}\mathbb{R}{\times}\mathbb{R}$ by (expected) teachers in the school mathematics, which is usually introduced in the class of real analysis of university mathematics. Firstly the author considers the properties of the completeness axiom and its 19 equivalent theorems, next he deals with its importances in the school mathematics and finally he suggests the teaching and learning of the concepts on the completeness axiom and its applications on [0,1] and $\mathbb{R}$, $\mathbb{R}{\times}\mathbb{R}$, $\mathbb{R}{\times}\mathbb{R}{\times}\mathbb{R}$ by (expected) teachers in the school mathematics.

Design of 65kW Class SRM for HEV (65kW급 HEV용 SRM의 설계)

  • This paper presents the reasonable design parameters of a SRM for hybrid electric vehicle driving. For the design of SRM, the initial model is designed using the equivalent magnetic circuit method. In order to optimize the SRM for HEV. The initial model is redesigned by FEM with the variation of the stock length and turns of winding. This paper shows that a flat-topped current of a phase can be made from a change of the stack length and the number of turns for high efficiency, high average torque and a lower torque ripple. The change of current falling time as a variation of turn-off angle was shown by FEA. The iron loss and copper loss were described. The torque of the redesigned motor is suitable for low and high speed ranges to drive a HEV that was verified by the speed-torque curve.

  • If scour is occurred at shallow foundation of bridge, seismic performance of the bridge will be reduced. In order to evaluate accurate seismic response of bridge according to scour depths, modeling of foundation reflecting scour effect is important. In this study, taking into account the effect of the reduction in embedment depth of the shallow foundation by scouring, the soil around the foundation is modelled as an equivalent soil spring with various stiffness. Seismic fragility analyses for 3 types of bridges subjected to 4 types of ground motions classified into Site Class A, B, C, D are evaluated according to several scour depths. From the fragility analysis results, it can be observed that the deeper the scour depth, the higher probability of exceeding damage states. Also, seismic failure probability of asymmetric bridge is higher than that of symmetric bridge.

  • Currently under development is an airborne auxiliary power unit with 100 Kw equivalent power, which is composed of a centrifugal compressor, a reverse annular combustor, and a radial turbine. Air-foil bearings are used in this power unit to eliminate the oil supplying system, which can reduce the system complexity and weight. The high speed generator is adopted as an electric power generation and engine starting system, which can also eliminate the reduction gear system. Not only electric power but also pneumatic power is provided by bleeding the compressed air This power unit is aimed for the multi-purpose use such as a primary power unit In the army weapon system, an auxiliary power and environmental control unit in a next-generation tank, and a smoke generating unit.

  • This paper presents the reasonable design parameters of a switched reluctance motor to drive a hybrid electric vehicle by using the equivalent magnetic circuit method. The designed motor can be redesigned by using finite element analysis as a variation of the parameter for the purpose of improving performance. This paper shows that a flat-topped current of a phase can be made from a change of the lamination stack length for high average torque and a lower torque ripple.   • We investigate the feedback linearizability of nonlinear discrete-time system s of a specific form, $x_k=G_{u_k}oF(x_k)$ where F is a diffeomorphism and [$G_{u_k}$] forms an one parameter group of diffeomorphisms. This structure represents a class of systems which are state equivalent to linear ones and approximates the sampled data model of a continuous-time system. It is also considered a relationship between linearizability and discretization.

  • In this paper, using equivalent circuit of BLDC motor in the 30W class, process of modeling the BLDC motor and calculating the parameter is shown. Through run-down-test and measuring back EMF, torque, speed and ampere, parameter that transfer function requires was gotten. In this result, for step response of BLDC motor, comparing the actual result obtained by circuit experiment with the simulation result obtained by substituting this parameter into the transfer function, it was established that process calculating parameters in this study is proper.

  • In this article, we focus on certain dynamic phenomena in volume-preserving manifolds. Let $M$ be a compact manifold with a volume form ${\omega}$ and $f:M{\rightarrow}M$ be a diffeomorphism of class $\mathcal{C}^1$ that preserves ${\omega}$. In this paper, we do not assume $f$ is $\mathcal{C}^1$-generic. We prove that $f$ satisfies the chain transitivity and we also show that, on $M$, the $\mathcal{C}^1$-stable shadowability is equivalent to the hyperbolicity.
