The aim of this paper is to show how LCA(Life Cycle Assessment) is used as a tool to evaluate the environmental burdens associated with EMU(Electronic Motor Unit), especially one of main components, an interior panel. Thus, the LCA results are polished into the general environmental product declaration format to communicate with the industrial and institutional customers. The format includes the product information and environmental information. In the list of environmental information, profile is consisted of two major results from the LCA study. One is the inventory analysis and the other is the characterized impact results. The format shown in this paper can be the one of option to choose environmentally preferable product and suggestion aimed at the institutional consumer such as government procurement office and corporation's purchasing department.

Environmental management systems offer a set of management tools and principles that can help integrate environmental concerns into daily business practices. Such systems have been in existence since the 1980's. This research identifies the firm's implementation of environmental management that is the most and least popular for managing the environmental management such as 3R's, EM, EMS, environmental awareness. This article investigates the differences of managing to environmental issues of firms between Korea and U.S. The research results suggest that the U.S. firms control of 3R's, EM and EMS better than Korea's, while Korean firms have higher environmental awareness than U.S. firms.

본 연구는 서울시의 도시환경과 관련된 다양한 자료들을 전산정보화 함으로써 효율적인 서울시 환경관리 체계 수립과 환경정책 지원을 위한 의사결정시스템으로서 환경정보시스템의 구축 방안 마련을 위한 기초연구의 성격을 가진다. 연구결과로서 서울시 환경정보화 현황이 분석되었고, 두 차례에 걸친 업무분석을 통해 분야별로 서울시 환경정보화 대상업무가 도출되었다. 서울시 환경정보시스템의 모형 개발과 관련하여, 업무분석 결과와 상위 계획의 검토를 거쳐 서울시 환경정보화의 목표가 설정되었으며, 서울시 환경정보시스템 구성의 기본방향 하위시스템 기능 둥이 도출되었다. 그리고 이러한 시스템의 구축을 위한 실행방안 및 연차별 추진방안 등 추진전략과, 운영조직 및 사업추진조직 둥의 추진체계를 포함하는 서울시 환경정보시스템 구축추진방안이 제시되었다.

While pursuing digitalization and paperless projects, the construction industry needs to settle on how to make the most of digitized data and information. On-site workers, who currently rely on paper documents to check and review design and construction plans, will need alternative ways to efficiently access the information without using any paper. Augmented Reality is a potential solution where the information customized to a user is aligned with the physical world. This paper proposes the Augmented Reality framework to deliver the information on on-site resources (e.g., workers and equipment) using head-mounted devices. The proposed framework was developed by interoperating Augmented Reality-supported devices and a digital twin platform in which all information related to ongoing tasks is accumulated in real-time. On-site resources appearing in the user's field of view are automatically detected by an object detection algorithm and then assigned to the corresponding information by matching the data in the digital twin platform. Preliminary experiments show the feasibility of the proposed framework. Worker detection results can be visualized on HoloLens 2 in near real-time, and the matching process obtained the accuracy greater than 88%.

This paper aims to design a policy-assessment tool liking the Environmental Impact Assessment(EIA) and the Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA). As a step towards the incorporation of environmental and economic considerations, the approach used herein takes the form of integrating quantitative information on environmental benefits and costs associated with implementing the project into the existing framework of the EIA. Our case study is an project appraisal of a solar energy plant. It is confirmed that the technique is operational, however, there are certain limitations for a complete assessment. The difficulty mainly originated from the omission of important information from each step of the valuation process. Alternatively stated, some environmental services are not identified, nor quantified, and nor monetized in the process. More case studies are warranted in the future along with elaboration in methodology of techniques. In addition, the construction of a database on environmental values will be required to accumulate reliable and systematized data. These are the necessary conditions to improving quality in application of techniques as well as providing comprehensive and balanced information to decision makers.

The purpose of this study is to find a mother's influence on her children regarding environmental preservation. The questions of this study are how a mother's background variables influence on their own behaviors, how the children's background variables influences on their own behaviors, how a mother's background variables influence on their children behaviors. This is used self-writing questionaires the 538 subjects are 4th, 5th and 6th grade children and their mothers living in Kwangiu, in June, 1998. The data are analyzed by Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Pearson's correlation, Regression analysis, Path analysis, Coronbach'$\alpha$ coefficent, and Factor analysis. These are the major resets of this study. 1) In case of mothers, the background variables for them to be influenced the environmental presentation behaviors show the frequency of contact for environmental information, average income, family cohesions, the level of communication, egoistic orientation, and age. 2) In Children, the background variables which are influenced on their environmental presentation behaviors represent the frequency of contact for environmental information, family cohesion, biospheric orientation, and the grade level of children. This is, the children who have the more chance of environmental information contact, the higher family cohesion, the higher biospheric orientation, and the lower grade level show the more environmental preservation behaviors. 3) The children who grow seeing their mothers'environmental behaviors such as sorted disposal, recycle behavior, and purchasing behaviors also show the more same behaviors.

These days the international environmental regulations of the developed countries, especially from the EU, are rapidly changed to the regulations of product-based environment from a conventional end-of-pipe environmental technology. Especially the motive in this paper come from the EU's electrical and electronic equipment environment regulation. It may affect much to whole export of Korea Firms Integrated product policy has the potential to increase not only competitive power in today's global market, but also trade compatibility between countries. Furthermore it is important to make a contribution to sustainable development. CEOs must change their notions about firms' environmental policy from the end-of-pipe approach to the sustainable approach to improve company's competitive power. As emphasized a paradigm of naw environmental management by EU' environmental directives, the company must establish clean production system to save resources and reduces pollutant. Also Korean Company constructs a systematical network to collect EU' environmental regulation information which are changing rapidly. Large company will cooperate with small and medium-sized firm for their win-win strategy in the field of environmental management. Also it is necessary to make the domestic regulations of product-based environment to meet the international environmental regulations.

The purpose of this research is support blind person's daily walking. In order to achieve the purpose, we investigate how the environmental information is used for their daily walking both in residential and commercial areas considering the characteristics of walking. In the investigation, interview to the persons concerned is carried out and all the conversation with them is recorded with a voice recorder. Moreover, the environmental information that may become clues is plotted on a map together with photos. The results are as follows; (1) Environmental information which the blind persons use is different depending on the role of its own of place, such as place confirmation, direction decision, distance understanding. (2) It is demonstrated that the information acquisition from sound is effective when they especially understand place and location.

Background: Environmental hazards are responsible for as much as a quarter of the total world-wide burden of disease. Therefore, appropriate management of environmental hazards is a critical part of the effort to improve human health. This review aims to summarize current issues, topics, and programs at international institutions such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the area of environmental health. Results: The WHO European Center for Environmental Health (ECEH) plays a significant role in implementing environmental health policies and also takes the lead in related issues in Europe. It has developed an Environmental Health Information System and environmental health inequality indicators. In the environmental health area, the OECD focuses most on chemical management programs. It foresees that air pollution and chemical risk management will become the leading environmental health issues if appropriate measures are not taken. Several topics were identified that require greater effort in Korea, including cancer as an environment-related disease, an environmental health information system, and environmental health inequality issues. Conclusions: More active roles are expected from Korea in international societies, in part because of the introduction of the Environmental Health Act of 2008, and active involvement in related activities in WHO WPRO/SEARO. Understanding recent developments and concerns at major international organizations like WHO and the OECD will assist in the implementation of effective international collaboration and the identification of a better strategies for improving environmental health performances in Korea.

The purpose of this study was to make valuable suggestions for improving environmental education(EE) teaching materials. For the purpose of this study, we analyzed four secondary school EE textbooks in the perspective of environmental literacy components. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) As a whole, the EE textbooks tend to focus the understanding environmental knowledge much more than environmental activities. (2) In 'main text' domain of EE textbooks, environmental information, including environmental issue knowledge, is much more focused than environmental attitudes and behavior, including socio-political and environmental issue knowledge. (3) In 'graphic data' domain, environmental information about environmental issue knowledge was most prevalent. (4) Most learning activities focus on 'issue skill' component, rather than 'attitude' and 'action' component. (5) The objectives of EE in the 7th national Curriculum were not explicitly embedded in textbooks and too much is inclined toward 'knowledge' and 'skill'. Accordingly, it is necessary to develop 'module-type' EE textbooks to enable integrative EE. Also, it is suggested to develop specific strategies for linking environmental knowledge and attitude/behavior.
