LIE BIALGEBRAS ARISING FROM POISSON BIALGEBRAS

  • It gives a method to obtain a natural Lie bialgebra from a Poisson bialgebra by an algebraic point of view. Let g be a coboundary Lie bialgebra associated to a Poission Lie group G. As an application, we obtain a Lie bialgebra from a sub-Poisson bialgebra of the restricted dual of the universal enveloping algebra U(g).

  • Injective JW-algebras are defined and are characterized by the existence of projections of norm 1 onto them. The relationship between the injectivity of a JW-algebra and the injectivity of its universal enveloping von Neumann algebra is established. The Jordan analgue of Theorem 3 of [3] is proved, that is, a JC-algebra A is nuclear if and only if its second dual $A^{**}$ is injective.

  • Let $U(sp_4)$ be the universal enveloping algebra of the symplectic Lie algebra $sp_4$. Then the restricted dual $U(sp_4)^{\circ}$ becomes a Poisson Hopf algebra with the Sklyanin Poisson bracket determined by the standard classical r-matrix. Here we illustrate a method to obtain the Lie bialgebra from a Poisson bialgebra $U(sp_4)^{\circ}$.

  • A new grid-based approach is presented for automatic generation of hexahedral meshes for simulation of plastic deformation in metal forming. In this approach, special enveloping schemes are applied, to eradicate the sources of the degenerate elements that may appear in a generated mesh. The schemes are described in detail, along with a complete procedure for mesh generation. The capability of the approach to deal with an arbitrary, 3-D process geometry is demonstrated through application to a selected forming problem.

  • The main purpose of this paper is to extend the exponentially convex functions which are defined and exponentially convex on a cylinderical neighborhood in the Heisenberg group. They are expanded in terms of an integral transform associated to the sub-Laplacian operator. Extension of such functions on abelian Lie group are studied in [15].

보형물을 이용한 즉시 유방재건술에서 노출된 보형물의 보존 (Preservation of Exposed Breast Implant for Immediate Breast Reconstruction)

  • Purpose: Common complications of immediate breast reconstruction with implant are capsular contracture, malposition of implant, hematoma and seroma. Especially, the most severe complication is implant exposure caused by inflammation or necrosis of skin flap margin of mastectomy site. This article reports the experience of cases of salvage in such an exposure of implant. Methods: From July, 2002 to Feb., 2009, sixty-five patients who underwent immediate breast reconstruction with implant were retrospectively analyzed. Exposure of implant was happened in 5 of 65 patients and they were treated at out patient district. Two of five patients were reconstructed with saline implnt and all of them underwent the enveloping of the implant with AlloDerm$^{(R)}$ and Serratus muscle flap. Remaning three patients were reconstructed with silicone implant and all of them underwent the enveloping of the implant with AlloDerm$^{(R)}$. Results: In the group of patients who underwent reconstruction with saline implant, implant exposure was found in one patient due to partial necrosis of the margin of skin flap and debridement and primary repair were done. In the other one patient, dressing with antibiotic ointment were done. And debridement and primary repair were proceeded. In the group of patients who underwent reconstruction with silicone implant, implant exposure was found in one patient. After removal of the implant, tissue expansion was done and a new silicone implant was inserted. Implant exposure were found in the other two patients, antibiotics ointment application and primarily repaired. Conclusion: It was the common knowledge that the exposed implant should be removed. But salvage of the exposed implants may be possible with proper treatment. Four of five patients (80%) with exposed breast implant were salvaged with conservative management.

타이어 접지폭을 고려한 3차원 차량모델에 의한 도로교의 동적해석 (Dynamic Analysis of Highway Bridges by 3-D. Vehicle Model Considering Tire Enveloping)

  • 본 연구에서는 차량과 교량을 3차원으로 모델링하고, 교량의 노면조도 및 교량과 차량 사이의 상호작용을 고려하여 이동 차량이 교량을 통과할 때 교량의 선형동적해석을 수행할 수 있는 수치해석방법을 제시하였다. 3차원 차량모델에는 타이어의 접지폭을 고려하여 탠덤 다판스피링 차륜축의 피칭을 고려하여 단일차량인 2축과 3축 차량 및 5축 트랙터-트레일러를 각각 7-자유도, 8-자유도 미 14-자유도로 모델링하였다. 차량의 운동방정식은 Lagrange 방정식을 사용하여 유도하였고, 그 해는 Newmark-${\beta}$법을 사용하여 계산하였다. 교량의 노면조도는 평균값이 영인 정상확율분포롤 가정한 지수스팩트럴밀도를 사용하여 생성시켰다. 교량은 주형을 보요소로, 콘크리트 바닥판은 쉴요소를 이상화시켰으며 주형과 콘크리트 바닥판 사이는 Ragid Link를 사용하여 3차원으로 모델링하였다. 교량의 운동방정시은 모우드 중첩법을 사용하여 풀었다. 본 연구에서 제시한 수치해석방법으로 구한 결과와 Whittemoare 등과 Fenves 등이 실시한 실험값과 비교 검토하여 본 연구의 타당성을 입증하였다.

ON SUBDIRECT PRODUCT OF PRIME MODULES

  • In the various module generalizations of the concepts of prime (semiprime) for a ring, the question "when are semiprime modules subdirect product of primes?" is a serious question in this context and it is considered by earlier authors in the literature. We continue study on the above question by showing that: If R is Morita equivalent to a right pre-duo ring (e.g., if R is commutative) then weakly compressible R-modules are precisely subdirect products of prime R-modules if and only if dim(R) = 0 and R/N(R) is a semi-Artinian ring if and only if every classical semiprime module is semiprime. In this case, the class of weakly compressible R-modules is an enveloping for Mod-R. Some related conditions are also investigated.

Dexterous Manipulation from Pinching to Power Grasping-Effective strategy according to object dimensions and grasping position-

  • This paper discusses practical strategies for transition from a pinching to a power grasping, where a multi-fingered hand mounted on a robotic arm envelops a cylindrical object on a table. When the manipulation system grasps a cylindrical object like a pen on a desk, a complete enveloping is not impossible in the initial configuration. The system firstly pinches the object only with two or three fingers and then grasp it with fingers and a palm after regrasping. In this pinching-grasping transition maneuver, human unconsciously selects proper strategy according to some conditions including object dimensions and initial pinching positions. In this paper we therefore develop six possible strategies for this pinching-grasping transition and then investigate their performances for some objects with various dimensions and various grasping positions, using numerical simulations. Based on their results, effective strategies are implemented by using a hand-arm system.

외연적 유한요소법을 이용한 패턴 타이어에 대한 돌기물 통과시의 동적 특성 해석 (Transient Dynamic Analysis of a Patterned Tire Rolling over a Cleat with an Explicit Finite Element Program)

  • The finite element analysis of tires has been conventionally performed by either neglecting tread pattern or modeling only circumferential grooves. Besides, the tire analysis has been mainly limited to static or steady state rolling analysis. In this paper, a transient dynamic analysis of a patterned tire rolling over a cleat with an explicit finite element program is presented. The patterned tire with detailed tread blocks is modeled by a systematic mesh generation procedure, in which tire body and tread pattern meshes are separately generated in the beginning and then both meshes are combined by the tie constraint method. The cleat impact analysis is conducted by using both the patterned tire and the smooth tire models to predict the cleat enveloping characteristics. It is seen that the analysis results of the patterned tire model are in a good agreement with the experimental results.
