  • The purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting the long - term care - related employment intention of nursing students in graduation grade. The study design was a descriptive study. As a result, the average intention of employment at the long - term care institution for the elderly was 2.8. It differed according to the experience of living with the elderly, the degree of interest in the elderly problem, long-term care benefits for the elderly in the family, and the concern of the long - term care insurance system. Therefore, in order to induce nursing college students to work in the long-term care field of elderly people, it is necessary to operate various curriculum and comparative programs that can get interested in the elderly problem. and long-term care insurance.

  • Employee turnover and job satisfaction are the main concerns of Foodservice indusryy because of a high dependence on human resources. This study was carried out to find out the differences of job satisfaction of employees in Foodservice industry and identify the effects of job satisfaction on turnover intention by major at the college or university. In comparison of job satisfaction of employees by 3 groups of food-related majored, tourism-business majored, and other majored, there were no significant differences among groups. But in the correlation between overall and 6 factors of job satisfaction, there were all significant correlations in food-related majored and tourism-business majored employees. Employees in Foodservice industry were satisfied by different demographic characteristics according to what they majored at college. Statistically significant variables that affect to the job satisfaction were gender, employment status, length of employment, monthly income, working hour per week in the food-related majored employees and employment status in the tourism-business majored employees. Finally, among job satisfaction factors, intention to quit was negatively affected by supervision in food-related majored and tourism-business majored employees, but positively affected by job environment only in tourism-business majored employees.

  • This study aims to analyze in relation to the influence and variable that their job instability and job stress attribute turnover intention to 134 employees of Midium and Small Firm less than 50 employees of a company being legal management at metropolitan area(Seoul, Kyeonggi-do, Incheon). To analyze a data, I took advantage of SPSS V.21, to analyze correlativity as each variable & causability, utilized bivariate correlation analysis & simple, multiple regression analysis, used sobel test as parameter effectiveness verification and post verification. This research result drew an conclusion to influence to turnover intention and stress perception from employment instability and job role stress of employees of Midium and Small Firm less than 50 employees being legal management, make of effect to the relation to stress perception and turnover intention indirectly. This result suggested the importance of stress management and human resource administration of employee of a Midium and Small Firm being legal management, drew an conclusion to attempt the research at first on employment instability and job stress of employees of Midium and Small Firm being legal management.

A Study on the Factors Influencing the Intention to Use the Housing Support Policy of 2030 Households in Seoul: Considering Characteristics of Household and Policy (서울시 무주택 청년가구의 주거지원 정책이용 의사 영향요인 분석: 가구 및 정책특성을 고려하여)

  • This study investigates what influences the 2030 households' intention to utilize housing support policies for the younger generation. Using the logistic regression model, our empirical results show that the 'the recognition of youth housing support projects', 'the housing occupation', 'employment type', 'housing type', and 'age' factors have a significant effect on the intention to use the housing support policies. Specifically, the intention is positively associated with economic activity, one-room residence, monthly rent, employment status during the Covid-19 period, and policy recognition, while negatively related to age. In addition, willingness to use the housing support policies is greater when respondents lived in a studio, lived on a monthly rent, recognized the policy, and improved their employment status. The results suggest that housing support programs need to be expanded and improved. Moreover, information on housing support policies should be efficiently delivered to eligible households, and more sophisticated housing support policies should be provided for young people early in their careers.

Effects of Working Conditions for Social Workers on Turnover Intentions: Focusing on mediating effects of job satisfaction (사회복지종사자의 근로조건이 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 직무만족의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to examine the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between working conditions, including wages, employment status, working hours, tenure, and turnover intention among social welfare workers. To achieve this, path analysis was conducted using SPSS and AMOS with data from the 2020 Survey on Compensation Levels and Working Conditions of Social Welfare Facility Workers conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs. The direct and indirect effects of variables were verified and compared. The analysis results revealed that job satisfaction among social welfare workers showed a complete mediating effect in the relationship between wages, working hours, and turnover intention, while it showed a partial mediating effect in the relationship between employment status, tenure, and turnover intention. Based on these findings, the study proposes measures to reduce turnover intention among social welfare workers, such as ensuring employment stability, managing job satisfaction based on tenure, and enhancing job satisfaction through wage and working hour management.

  • This study aims to examine the factors Influencing intention to farming jobs in agricultural corporations. We conducted a survey on 181 young farmers and analyzed their inclination towards employment in agricultural corporations using a probit model. The findings revealed several implications. First, adherence to labor laws and regulations, including the provision of the four major insurances, emerged as the most crucial factor for individuals considering employment in agricultural corporations. Additionally, a positive correlation was observed between individuals perceiving agricultural corporations as contributors to job expansion and their willingness to work for such entities.

  • In this study, it was to prepare a plan for improving the employment rate of college students after identifying employment preparation behavior by grade level. Based on data collected in this study, frequency analysis was analyzed and in order to find out the difference of employment preparation behavior between grade level, Cross-analysis was performed. The results, all items showed that significant differences by grade level in preparation for employment actions such as choice of a double major, workers' experience in college education services, language training experience in foreign countries, setting career in college education services, setting a goal for employment, seeking for employment in college education services, participation in employment activity for researching job, education/training-related job, having an official license. Implications for activation direction of employment preparation of college student by grade level is as follows. First, it is necessary for encouraging actively employment intention of the students. Second, there is a need for institutional support for certification and expanding language training opportunities. Third, in the case of a local university, it is necessary for enhancing competency for employment through the promotion of basic education for students.

Factors Affecting on Turnover Intention of Workers Involved in Industrial Accidents Using Panel Study of Workers' Compensation Insurance (산재보험패널을 이용한 산업재해 근로자의 이직의사 영향 요인)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of welfare workers who are economically active as wage earners after undergoing industrial accidents on their turnover intention in terms of demographic, working environment, and health characteristics. Methods : The data were analyzed in this study with the chi-square test and logistic regression using SPSS ver. 22.0 to analyze the factors influencing the turnover intention of industrial workers(PSWCI, 2016, N=1,083). Results : Model 1 included age, education, average wage, and union, Model 2 includer the number of workers in the workplace, average number of working days, overtime, and employment status were statistically significant. Model 3 included characteristics of health, Model 4 includer education, average wage, union, average number of working days, overtime, employment status were statistically significant. Conclusions : It is necessary to develop tools, indicators, and systematic and step-by-step programs to evaluate the stable work environment in the workplace, as well as to improve workers' return to work.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention by employment type, suggest positive influence to the HRM. The questionnaire was distributed from February 3rd to 23rd, of the 300 distributed questionnaire 271 copies were used in the analysis by t-test and multiple regression method to give a response rate of 90.3%. The results of the study were as followed; Firstly, it was found that the factors of job satisfaction, work itself and superiors are significant differences by employment type. Secondly, it appeared that turnover intention influenced by job satisfaction was revealed to negative significant results by work itself, promotion and payment. Based on these findings, this paper suggests implications and limitation of the research as well as future directions for the study.

Factors affecting home cooking behavior of women with elementary school children applying the theory of planned behavior

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The objective of this study was to examine factors affecting cooking behavior at home. We examined components of the theory of planned behavior, perception of cooking skills, and socio-demographic variables affecting cooking behavior at home. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The study sample included 425 women raising elementary school children living in South Korea. They responded to an online structured questionnaire. The variables affecting cooking behavior at home were assessed using hierarchical regression analysis. RESULTS: The frequency of cooking behavior at home was 14.1 meals per week. Most respondents showed an intention regarding cooking behavior. The average score for attitude toward cooking behavior at home was 15.1 points (scale of 1 to 25). Attitude and cooking behavior showed a significant positive correlation (P < 0.01, r = 0.22). The subjective norm was 14.6 points (scale of 1 to 25). The subjective norm showed a significant correlation with cooking behavior (P < 0.01, r = 0.18). The control belief was 2.8 points (scale of 1 to 5). The control belief and cooking behavior showed a significant correlation in all questions (P < 0.01, r = 0.25). The subjects were significant confident about their cooking skills, except for Kimchi. Perception of cooking skills showed a significant correlation with all questions concerning cooking behavior (P < 0.01, r = 0.30). Significant variables for predicting intention regarding cooking behavior were perception of cooking skills, employment status, income, and attitude. Significant variables for predicting cooking behavior were employment status, income, control belief, number of children, and behavioral intention. CONCLUSIONS: In order to provide nutrition education to increase cooking behavior at home, it is necessary to have a positive attitude toward cooking behavior, increase control belief, and improve confidence related to cooking skills. Moreover, differentiated education based on the employment status of women is needed.
