The purpose of this case study is to discuss the issues and challenges pertaining to industrial safety. The case study begins with the shocking incident of the brutal killing of top-executive of the company by agitated workers. Inspite of having conducive environment for business, Italian subsidiary Robusto Muro Ltd had to confront industrial Relations issues at an incredible and unprecedented level. Management perspective, workers viewpoint, competitors approach and diplomatic comments by political bigwigs have also been incorporated so that the students may have 3-dimensional understanding of the scenario. The case of such genre will facilitate the students to comprehend and discuss the employee-employer relationship and industrial safety, in particular and industrial relations and IR machinery, in general.

Most of chemical plant are using toxic and dangerous materials, inflammable and poisonous. There are many accidental dangers by escaping of fire, explosive and poisonous materials in case of high temperature and pressure. The accidents lead to taking employer's and local people's life and environmental contamination. Therefore, 27 small-medium chemical plant, which size is 30 ∼ 200 employees out of safety management agent ill the area of A was selected in this study. The problems of safety management and several countermeasures at the chemical plants was indicated through the analyzed data. Prior to this analysis, top managers' concerns, equipment maintenance for the safety management are needed. For the future, calamity prevention countermeasures by industrial disaster analysis are needed and active safety management programs are investigated for the industrial disaster prevention and productivity enhancement at the chemical plant.

These days buildings have more possibilities to occur construction delay as many variables and risks are inherent in them due to the enlargement and complexity. When a project is delayed, it generates extra working expenses and this causes a dispute between the employer and the constructor. Most construction sites conduct emergency construction work to recover the delay of the project duration. When an emergency construction is carried out in the actual construction site, it's necessary to utilize and distribute the proper working groups based on the procedure of successor and predecessor. Many constructions, however, have been going only with more number of work forces and working time. This study suggests a process management optimization plan with an application of emergency construction scenario by using linear programing.

An industrial injury prevention has a basis on fundamental spirit of human respect rather than only injury prevention in company. The employer should recognize employee as a core part of an industrial management and use as a starting point of safety and health management rather than means of production. There are many reason for unsafety action without safety operation. The reason is no standard safety operation in company or the workers never get a enough education. Standard safety operation is prepared by paper for accurate directions and orders and operators must read the paper to prevent an error of action. Also an essential particular is safety of equipment and machine must be assumed to establish standard safety operation then safety of operations will be possible.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the influencing factors on the economic and educational supports selection of small self-employed business. A sample of 321 was selected from self-employed workers living in Daegu. For data analysis, logistic regression was used. The major findings were as follows: 1 The determinants of the economic supports selection in self-employed business were father's working experiences in self-employed business, taking employees or not in business, having housing ownership or not, and as well as the amount of starting capital. 2. The determinants of the educational supports selection in self-employed business were self-employer's working experience as self-employed before or not, and empowerment with self-employed work.

Today rapid change in information and economy takes the changing of office design. It is very important to understand about the needs of employees and working environment. To promote the efficiency and comfort of the working environment, diverse employee's working characteristic and individual requirements have been observed. To build a good working environment, flexibility of space and communication between employees and employer in the office are very important. Due to the business growth, "K" financial company requires more working space. The design idea for the main areas such as the executive officer's room, the reception, the elevator hall, the conference rooms and the working areas in this project targets the harmony of the functionality and the aesthetic. This project could be able to deliver more convenient and comfortable working place by adopting three main concepts, which are modern, simplicity and moderation.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate turnover intention of dental hygienist who were employed at the private dental clinic in Ulsan, Korea. Methods: The data obtained from 100 dental hygienists during 1 month. The survey was performed by a face-la-face interview questionnaire consisting of 19 items and the 5 point Likert type response format. The respondents were 77 from dental hygienists. The adjusted response rate was 80.2%(77/96). Data were analyzed using frequency distribution, independent t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square and correlation. All statistical analyzed were conducted using Statistical Package for SPSS 11.5. Results: There was experiences of turnover the longer the professional career, the higher income, married personnel. Turnover intention was a statistically correlated with income. Conclusions: The findings suggest that dental hygienists who remain in the workforce are positively influenced mainly by self-development. Employer of dental hygienists should be aware of these factors in employing process.

The CRM is the process of integrated customer management to increase the profitability of firm as a maximizing the consumer's value and supplying the high quality product or service. The Post Information Service Headquarter was recognizing the importance of CRM and constructed the customer relationship management system that based on CRM, steadily has made an endeavor for operating to improve the job operation such as posting, banking and insurance. This research analysed the impact of service quality on the customer satisfaction in the Korea Post Office. First of all, we review the existing literature on measurement of service quality and management. As a result of this review and survey of the employer in post office, nineteen factors emerged as important to the service management of The Korea Post Office; Postal Services, Banking Services, Insurance Services. The regression analysis was utilized for analyzing the influence of service quality factors upon the customer satisfaction. Results show that service quality factors have a statistically significant impact on the customer satisfaction of the Korea Post Office.

본 논문에서는 다중이용업소의 화재사고 이후 시행된 개선대책에도 불구하고 화재발생과 인명피해가 지속적으로 증가하는 근원적인 문제점이 무엇인지를 조사하였고, 다중이용업소의 공간 및 영업형태적 특성에 따른 방화관리측면에서 문제점 및 취약요인을 설문조사를 통하여 분석하였다. 이와 같은 분석을 토대로 방화관리체제의 명확화, 업주 또는 직원 등 관계인에 대한 소방안전교육 및 훈련 방안 등을 연구하여 효율적인 다중이용업소의 제도개선 방안을 제안하였다.
