일개 종합병원 간호사의 감정노동과 감성지능이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of a General Hospital Nurse's Emotional Labor, Emotional Intelligence on Job Stress)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 일개 종합병원에 근무하는 간호사를 대상으로 감정노동과 감성지능이 각각 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향, 감정노동과 감성지능이 통합요인으로 합쳐졌을 때 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 설문조사는 서울 소재 K 종합병원 간호사를 대상으로 2013년 3월 11일부터 3월 29일까지 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 사용하여 전산 통계 처리하여 분석하였다. 감정 노동 변인 중 감정표현의 빈도는 직무스트레스에 유의미한 부(-)적 영향(${\beta}=-.215$, p<.05)을, 감정표현 규범의 주의성은 유의미한 정(+)적(${\beta}=.263$, p<.01) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 감성지능 변인 중 자기감정이해와 감정조절변인이 직무스트레스에 유의미한 부(-)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해, 간호사들이 직무스트레스를 낮추기 위해서는 환자들과 긍정적인 감정표현을 많이 하고, 간호사들이 병원의 감정표현 규범으로 인해 표현하지 못한 감정을 해소할 수 있는 방안이 필요하며, 자신의 감정에 대한 이해와 감성조절능력을 기르도록 스스로 노력이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 이에 따라 간호사들의 직무스트레스를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 역량강화프로그램의 개발과 제공이 요구된다.

자기성장집단 프로그램이 간호대학생의 감성지능, 뇌기능 지수에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Self-Growth Group Program on Emotional Intelligence and Brain Function Index of Nursing Students.)

  • 본 연구는 간호대 학생에게 자기성장 집단프로그램이 감성지능, 뇌기능 지수에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 대조군 전후 유사 실험연구이다. 자료 수집은 K도, C시에 소재한 간호대 학생 36명을 대상으로 2017년 8월 22일에서 9월 30일 까지 진행하였다. 연구도구는 감성지능, 뇌기능 지수를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 실수와 백분율, 평균 및 표준편차, t검증, 일원변량분석, 반복분산분석을 이용하였다. 자기성장 집단프로그램이 감성지능의 시간에 따른 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였고(F=7.15 p=.002), 하위요소 중 자기감성 이해는 시간에 따른 집단 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(F=14.03, p<.001). 뇌기능 지수중 브레인 지수는 시간에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(F=6.72, p=.002). 이러한 결과는 자기성장 집단프로그램이 간호대학생의 자기이해와 뇌기능 지수인 브레인지수 향상을 보이므로 자기성장 집단프로그램의 과학적 근거를 제시하는데 의미가 있다고 시사된다. 추후 간호대 학생의 자기이해, 타인이해, 자기개방을 위한 자기성장 집단프로그램이 성숙한 자아가 형성되고 감성지능 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 사료되어 융복합 교육전략을 적용한 연구의 필요성을 제언한다.

아동과 청소년의 정서적유능성과 사회적 적응간의 관계 (Relationships between Emotional Competence and Social Adjustment among Korean Children and Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between emotional competence and social adjustment among Korean children and adolescents. The subjects of this study were 380 children between fifth and sixth grade ages and 579 middle school students. Their emotional competence was assessed by 'Korean Emotional Competence Scale (Kim et al., 2004),' and also their social adjustment by 'Social Adjustment Scale (Lee, 1994).' The data were analyzed by ANOVA, the Pearson's Correlation, and Regression, using SPSS. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Children's and adolescents' emotional competence and social adjustment had a meaningful difference according to SES, gender, and grade. (2) There was a significant, positive relationship between their emotional competence and social adjustment. Their social adjustment was related more strongly to factors, such as Self-expressiveness, Assertion, and Positive thinking, and also their emotional competence more to Self-adjustment and Emotional adjustment. (4) Social adjustment of children and adolescents was predicted best by Self-expressiveness and Assertion, Positive Thinking, Awareness and Understanding of Emotion, and Consideration factors of emotional competence.

대학생의 관계지향성이 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향: 정서표현양가성의 매개적 역할 (The Effects of College Students' Sociotropy and Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness on Interpersonal Problems)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of sociotropy, as perceived by college students, and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness on their interpersonal problems. A total of 248 college students (127 males and 121 females) living in Seoul and Gyonggi responded to questionnaires, which included items related to sociotropy, ambivalence over emotional expressiveness, and interpersonal problem. First, college students' sociotropy was correlated with ambivalence over emotional expressiveness and interpersonal problems. It was suggested that people with high level of sociotropy experienced more emotional expressive conflict and interpersonal problems than people with low level of sociotropy. Second, male and female college students' ambivalence over emotional expressiveness partially mediated the relation between sociotropy and move toward other people, one of the interpersonal problem's subtypes. Male college students' ambivalence over emotional expressiveness has fully mediated the relation between sociotropy and move against other people, one of the interpersonal problem's subtypes. And female college students' ambivalence over emotional expressiveness has fully mediated the relation between sociotropy and move away from other people, one of the interpersonal problem's subtypes. According to gender difference, different interpersonal problems appeared. This study's results may provide some important suggestions for interpersonal problems in college students by increasing understanding of multiple dimensions according to their internal tendency and emotional expressiveness.

초등학교 영양사의 감성지능이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Dietitians in Elementary Schools)

  • 본 연구는 본 연구는 영양사의 감성지능이 직무 만족과 조직 몰입에 미치는 영향 요인으로 감성지능과 직무만족, 그리고 조직몰입과의 관계를 파악하기 위해 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며, 영양사들의 감성지능이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 감성지능은 직무만족 및 조직몰입과 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 특히 정서지각과 감성지능이 상관계수가 0.774로 가장 높았으며, 정서관리와 조직몰입이 상관계수가 0.254로 가장 낮았다. 영양사들의 감성지능이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴본 결과로 영양사들은 정서적 사고촉진과 정서관리가 높을수록 직무만족이 높았으며 영양사들은 정서적 사고촉진이 높을수록 조직몰입이 높음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 향후 영양사의 직무 만족과 조직 몰입을 증진시키기 위해 영양사의 감성적 지능관련 요소들의 효과적 조절을 위한 감성지능 증진 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다고 사료된다.

정서발달의 관점에서 본 우리나라의 전통태교: 태교신기를 중심으로 (The Korean Tradition of Taegyo for Supporting Prenatal Development: Focusing on Emotion in Taegyo-Singi)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyse the principles and methods of Taegyo-Singi with regard to emotion and to review basic informations on Taegyo programs for promoting prenatal development. Taegyo-Singi was analyzed as follows. First, the contents of Taegyo-Singi were classified into principles and methods of Taegyo. Second, the domains of emotion were categorized into emotional perception, emotional expression, emotional understanding, and emotional regulation based on the classification of Mayer and Salovey, and Moon. Third, the contents of Taegyo-Singi were classified into the four domains of emotion. Finally, the reliability and validity of the classification were obtained through inter-rater agreement and analysis of content validity. The results indicated that first, the principles of Taegyo presuppose parental influence on temperament formation, and that the emotional states of the mother in the prenatal and prepregnancy period is the most influential variable in a child's temperament formation. Second, the methods of Taegyo presuppose that the human mind interacts with their behavior. Therefore, through emotional support of family members, 'jon-sim (the serene mind)' and 'chung-sim (the mind from rectitude)' are the key methods of Taegyo. This means that the Korean tradition of Taegyo focused on the emotional domain of development, especially emotional regulation. This coincides with the emotion-focused temperament theory that individual differences in temperament reflect individual differences in emotion.

아동과 청소년의 정서적유능성과 사회불안과의 관계 (Relationships between Emotional Competence and Social Anxiety among Korean Children and Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between emotional competence and social anxiety among Korean children and adolescents. The subjects of this study were 385 children between fifth and sixth grade ages and 579 middle school students. Their emotional competence was assessed by 'Korean Emotional Competence scale (Kim et al., 2004),' and also their social adjustment was assessed by 'Social Anxiety Scale (Moon & Oh, 2002).' The data were analyzed by ANOVA, the Pearson's correlation, and regression, using SPSS. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Children's and adolescents' emotional competence and social anxiety were relatively high. (2) Their emotional competence had a meaningful difference according to SES, gender, and birth order. (3) Their social anxiety had a meaningful difference according to SES, gender, and birth order. (4) There was a significant relationship between their emotional competence and social anxiety. (5) A regression analysis result of children's and adolescents' social anxiety showed that approximately 11.3% variance could be explained by four emotional competence variables: 'self-expressiveness and assertion,' 'awareness and understanding of emotion,' 'positive acceptance,' and 'collective consciousness.'

과학영재 학생들을 대상으로 한 정서지능 프로그램의 효과에 대한 질적 접근 (The Qualitative Approach to Effects of the Program Focused on Emotional Intelligence Development for the Science-gifted)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 과학 영재를 대상으로 한 정서지능 프로그램의 효과를 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 참가자들은 9개월 동안 20회의 정서지능 프로그램에 참가하였다. 연구 분석 자료로는 20명의 과학 영재 학생의 자기보고 검사지, 프로그램 활동지, 연구자 현장기록 일지, 사전 사후 인터뷰를 사용하였다. 프로그램 수행 결과, 학생들은 정서지능을 이용한 갈등 상황의 긍정적 해결 경험을 통해 정서지능에 대한 재인식과 자기효능감이 상승하였고, 타인과의 관계에 대한 자신감이 형성되었으며 학업과 미래 직업에 대한 기대감을 드러냈다. 그러나 학업 성취에 대한 직접적 영향력은 드러나지 않았다.

The Impact of Organizational Culture and Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance: An Empirical Study from Indonesia

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of organizational culture, job involvement, and emotional intelligence on employee performance through job satisfaction, organizational commitment at commercial banks in the Great Malang. This study applied the purposive sampling method to obtain data from 240 out of 600 workers working in four commercial banks, which was then analyzed using the SEM. The results showed that organizational culture, job involvement, emotional intelligence have no significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. Organizational culture, emotional intelligence, job involvement, satisfaction significantly affect employee performance through organizational commitment. Organizational culture, job involvement, emotional intelligence significantly affect employee performance through job satisfaction, organizational commitment. By investigating the impact of organizational culture, job engagement, emotional intelligence on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, employee performance simultaneously in this study, this study expands the existing literature by providing a better understanding of organizational culture, job engagement, and emotional intelligence. Given that articles on organizational culture, job involvement, and emotional intelligence are limited in the HRD literature, the findings of this study may offer reliable information for HRD practice, encourage researchers to explore research related to organizational culture, job involvement, and emotional intelligence.

치과 의료기관의 서비스스케이프와 인적서비스품질이 환자의 내적반응 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Servicescape and Human Service Quality on Patients' Internal Responses and Their Behavioral Intention in Dental Care Organizations)

  • This study was designed to analyze the effect of servicescape and human service quality on patients' internal response and their behavioral intention in dental care organizations. Self-administered survey questionnaires with structured instruments were developed, and a total of 226 responses were used for statistical analyses using SPSS Windows version 18.0 program and AMOS 18.0 program. Major findings of the study are as follows. First, among other servicescape components, air condition environment was found to have a positive effect on patients' cognitive and physiological responses, while signals and symbols had a positive effect on cognitive and emotional responses. Second, the competence, among other factors of the human service quality, had positive influence on cognitive and emotional responses, while customer understanding affected positively on emotional response. Third, none of the servicescape components showed a direct effect on patients' behavioral intention, but their influence was mediated by internal responses. However, customer understanding, among other human service quality factors, had a direct effect on patients' behavioral intention. Fourth, emotional response, among other internal response factors, proved to have positive influence on behavioral intention. Results from this study suggest that dental care service providers can increase their competitiveness and customer satisfaction by understanding and improving the most important areas of servicescape and human service quality.
