영유아발달 척도의 개발을 위한 기초 연구: 1-36개월 영유아를 중심으로 (A Preliminary Study on the Development of Infant-Toddler Developmental Scale : 1 to 36 Months)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a Korean infant-toddler developmental scale and to examine the demographic variables and infant-toddler development. The subjects were 167 mothers who have infant and toddler from 1 to 36 months of age in Seoul, Daejeon, Chungju, Yeasan, and llsan in Korea. The subscales consisted of language development, social and emotional development, physical development, and cognitive development. The significant variables which are influenced the infant-toddler development were age of infant-toddler and age of father.

  • Recently, people's attitude toward residential environment has been changed from a simple shelter to a place affecting their mental function, and the change has increased demand for high quality of residential environment. Nevertheless, a number of unsatisfactory elements that do not meet the demand of residents for residential environment have continuously caused them to be exposed to stress. The purpose of this study is to explore the importance of residential environment by examining stress factors from the residential environment and finding out the effects of the residential environment stress on human emotional intelligence quotient and its application pattern. This study was carried out using not only self-report questionnaires with the Likert 5-point scale to find out the origin of residential environment stress factors, but the emotional intelligence quotient measuring device developed by Wong & Low (2000) to analyse correlations between the residential environment stress and emotional intelligence quotient. The questionnaire survey in this study was carried our among students of D College, and data were analysed using the statistical program SPSS, version 14.0.

가정보육시설과 기관보육시설의 질적 특성과 영아의 사회.정서 발달 (The quality of home-based day care and center-based day care and socio-emotional development among infants)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the quality (structure and process) of home-based day care and center-based day care, and to examine socio-emotional development among infants who were in both types of day care. The subjects of this study were 101 infants who were in home-based day care and 181 infants who were in center-based day care. The measurements were socio-emotional development scale and assessment scales for day care programs. Results indicated that, first, home-based day care did not significantly differ from center-based day care in terms of structure. Second, home-based day care were, to some degree, significantly different from center-based day care in the process: home-based day care had better play environment and play activities than did center-band day care. Lastly, there were significant differences in socio-emotional development among infants according to the type of day care: infants in home-based day care were more independent to their teacher and felt more secure in child care homes than was true for the infants in center-based day care.

부모의 언어적 학대와 아동의 정서적 부적응행동과의 관계 (The Relation between Verbal Aggression by Parents and Children's Maladjusted Emotional Behavior)

  • This study investigated the relation between verbal abuse by parents and children's maladjusted emotional behavior. The sampling consisted of 628 children in 16 classes out of every three elementary schools and one middle school. Instruments used for this study were the Verbal Abuse Measure, Parent-to-child violence items of the Conflict Tactics Scales, Emotional Maladjustment Behavior Scale, and Socioeconmic Status. Methods applied to data analysis were multiple regression, logistic regression and logistic curve graphic display. The major findings were ; (1) Of all subjects, almost 20% experienced at least one instance in which they were victims of verbal abuse during the year covered by this study. (2) As the amount of physical abuse by parents increased the verbal abuse by parents increased. The older children experienced more verbal abuse than the younger ones. (3) Verbal abuse by parents was more highly related to maladjusted emotional behavior of the children than physical abuse by parents. (4) Regardless of the physical violence by parents, verbal abuse by parents was associated with maladjusted emotional behavior of children. Children who were subjected to both verbal and physical abuse were more strongly related to withdrawal, hyperactivity, and obsessive-compulsions than children experienced either one or the other.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the path of parental divorce on their children's emotional and behavioral problems through child-rearing behaviors and children's self-esteem. The participants were 162 children from divorced families and 194 from intact families. The Instruments used were CBQ (Children's Behaviour Questionnaire) (Rutter, 1967), Child-rearing rating scale (Park, 1995) and SEI (Self Esteem Inventory) (Coopersmith, 1967). The data were analyzed by ANCOVA and path analysis. The results were as follows. First, there were significant differences in children's emotional and behavioral problems and self-esteem, and caregivers' child-rearing behaviors between children from divorced and intact families. Second, parental divorce affected children's emotional and behavioral problems directly, as well as indirectly through child-rearing behaviors and children's self-esteem.

감성적 실내디자인을 위한 여성전문병원 로비 공간 계획 특성 (The Particularities of Planning for the Emotional Design in the Lobby of the Women's clinics)

  • This paper inquires the elements of emotional design and the current conditions of its application in order to examine the particularities arise when planning emotional interior design for a women's clinic. Research was done by studying plans for elements of emotional interior design while site investigation was done to find out the status of women's clinic lobby. Six women's clinic in Ulsan were chosen as subjects while survey was done based on the studied emotional plan elements. The data evaluation was classified by the installed properties and substituted with image scale using emotional mensuration. The outcome is as follows; First, elements of emotional interior design was composed of elements making up the space's comfort and aesthetic appreciation, and elements stimulating human's five senses leading to psychological treatment. Therefore, the plan for interior design should merge the design elements that stimulate senses and social elements into one unified concept. Second, the composited elements within the plan should strive to stimulate sights by contracts and changes and add symbolic or meaningful elements based on the principles of design. In so doing, the plan should incorporate an aesthetic orderliness and a coherent image. Third, the interior of women's clinics should not only have psychological comfort but also liveliness and ease that suits 20-30 old women. To conclude, Color, form, finishing materials and texture should be selected with a unified style in mind and the plan itself should strive to generate playfulness though harmonious coordination.

피트니스 센터 이용자의 운동참여유형에 따른 감성조명의 인식: 운동과 감성조명의 융합적 접근 (Recognition of Emotional lighting according to the Types of exercise participation of Fitness center users: Convergence approach of exercise and emotional lighting)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 피트니스 센터 이용자의 운동참여유형에 따른 감성조명의 인식을 살펴보는데 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위한 연구대상은 경인지역 피트니스 센터 이용객 292명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사도구로 색채유형은 오세민과 곽영신(2015)의 연구에서 사용한 색채계열을 사용하였으며, 색채 인식은 이복신(1997)의 연구에서 사용한 감성 형용사 척도를 사용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS23.0을 이용하여 교차분석과 독립 t검증, 일원변량분석을 실시하였다. 이에 본 연구를 통해 도출된 결과를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 피트니스 이용자의 감성조명 색채선호도는 성별에 따라 차이가 있다. 둘째, 피트니스 이용자의 감성조명 색채별 인식의 차이는 성별, 연령에서 색채별 부분적 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 피트니스 이용자의 운동참여유형에 따른 감성조명 색채 인식의 차이에서도 각 색채별 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

호스피스완화의료서비스 성과평가 도구개발 (Development and Validation of the Hospice Palliative Care Performance Scale)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a hospice palliative care performance measure which would cover more than just physical symptoms or quality of life. Methods: Through an intensive literature review, the author chose questions that measured aspects of physical, emotional, spiritual, social, or practical domains pertinent to hospice palliative care for inclusion in the scale. Content validation of the questions was established by 15 hospice palliative care professionals. A preliminary Hospice Palliative Care Performance Scale (HPCPS) of 20 questions was administered to 134 pairs of terminal cancer patients from 5 hospice palliative care units and their main family caregiver. A validation study was conducted to evaluate construct validity and internal consistency. Results: Factor analysis showed 14 significant questions in five subscales; Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, Social, and Patient' rights. There were no significant differences between the ratings by patients and family members except for three out of the 14 questions. The measure demonstrated construct validity, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of the subscales ranged from .73 to .79. Conclusion: The HPCOS demonstrated acceptable validity and reliability. It can be used to assess effectiveness of hospice palliative care for terminal cancer patients in practice and research.

중풍(中風)에 대한 健康檢診(건강검진)을 받고자 내원(來院)한 환자(患者)의 정서상태(情緖狀態)에 대한 연구(硏究) (The Study about the Emotional Status of Patients Who want to take Medical Examination on Stroke)

  • This study was designed and undertaken to identify objectively the degree and relationship of anxiety, depression which are chief essential elements of emotional status in Stroke medical examination patients. The subjects in this study were 58 Stroke medical examination patients and 58 Non-Stroke medical examination patients, and for the assessment of anxiety, depression. We used State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), Zung's Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS). The results of this study are as follows : 1. There were significant, differences in the 16 items of State anxiety scale among 20 items and the 14 items of Trait anxiety scale among 20 items between Stroke medical examination patients and the control group(p<0.05 respectively). 2. There were significant differences in the 14 items of SDS among 20 items between Stroke medical examination patients and the control group(p<0.05 respectively). 3. There were significant differences in the mean scores of STAI and SDS between Stroke medical examination patients and the control group(p<0.001 respectively). 4. There were no significant relationships between State anxiety & Trait anxiety, State anxiety & Depression, Trait anxiety & Depression in the Stroke medical examination patients.

HOME, 사회인구론적 변인과 아동의 지적, 사회적 능력간의 관계분석 I -만 4세 아동을 대상으로- (Analysis of the Relationship of HOME, Socio-demographic Variables and Children's Intellectual and Social Abilities I - at Age Four -)

  • This study examined the characteristics of the relationship of HOME, socio-demographic variables and children's intellectual and social abilities. The subjects of this study were 80 children at age four and their mothers. Instruments included inventory of home stimulation (HOME) and the inventory of socio-demographic variables and K-Binet scale, social naturation scale, and the social-emotional developmental rating scale. The results obtained from this study were as follows: 1. HOME, socio-demographic variables had a significant positive correlation (.37∼..66) with children's intellectual ability. 2. HOME, Socio-demographic variables had a significant positive correlation(.26∼..67) with children's social ability. 3. The variables that significantly predicted children's intellectual ability were play materials, breadth of experience and quality of langage environment. 4. The variables that significantly predicted children's social ability were play materials, economic status of the home and parent education. 5. The results of the causal model showed that the kind of variables that affected children's intellectual ability directly were direct stimulation, parent's education, indirect stimulation, and the emotional climate of the home. 6. The results of the analysis of the causal model showed that the kind of variables that affected children's social ability directly were direct stimulation, parent's education, economic status of the home.
