교육대학교 학생의 성격 5요인에 기초한 잠재적 성격 특성 유형과 심리적 안녕감, 대학생활적응 간의 관계 (Relationships Among the Big Five Personality Traits, Psychological Well-being, and College Adaptation of Pre-service Teachers)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 성격 5요인에 기초하여 교육대학교 학생의 잠재적 성격 특성 유형을 확인하고, 성격 특성 에 따라 심리적 안녕감, 대학생활적응에 차이가 있는지 살펴보는 것이다. 분석 자료는 A 교육대학교 1~4학년 1,295명의 데이터를 활용하였다. 교육대학교 학생의 잠재적 성격 특성 유형을 확인하기 위해 잠재프로파일분석을 활용하였으며, 분류된 성격 특성 잠재 집단에 따른 심리적 안녕감, 대학생활적응 차이 검증을 위해 다변량분산분석방법을 사용하였다. 잠재프로파일분석결과 교육대학교 학생의 성격 특성은 신경과민성, 외향성, 개방성, 우호성, 성실성의 다중 속성에 의해 (1) 높은 수준의 적응적 성격(신경과민성 하, 나머지 성격 요인 상), (2) 중간 수준의 적응적 성격(성격 5요인 모두 중), (3) 낮은 수준의 적응적 성격(신경과민성 상, 나머지 성격 요인 하)의 세 개 유형으로 구분하는 것이 적합한 것으로 확인되었다. 세 집단에 따라 성격 5요인에 유의한 차이가 나타났는데, 높은 수준의 적응적 성격 집단이 중간과 낮은 수준의 적응적 성격 집단보다, 중간이 낮은 수준의 적응적 성격 집단보다 신경과민성은 낮고 외향성, 개방성, 우호성, 성실성이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 성격 특성 잠재 집단에 따라 심리적 안녕감과 대학생활적응에 차이가 있는지 확인한 결과 높은 수준의 적응적 성격 집단은 중간과 낮은 수준의 적응적 성격 집단보다, 중간은 낮은 수준의 적응적 성격 집단보다 심리적 안녕감과 대학생활적응 하위 요인 모두에서 점수가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 교육대학교 학생의 심리적 안녕감과 대학생활적응에 있어 성격 특성의 중요성을 보여주며, 교육대학교 학생의 행복한 대학생활을 위해서는 성격 특성을 고려한 교육적 개입이 필요함을 시사한다.

자연과 수업에 증거집(포트폴리오) 평가의 적용이 초등학교 학생들의 과학 지식, 탐구능력 및 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Portfolio Assessment on Elementary School Students' Science Knowledge, Inquiry Ability and Science Attitudes)

  • 이 연구의 주요 목적은 증거집(포트폴리오) 평가를 적용할 때 초등학교 학생들의 과학 지식, 탐구능력, 태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 학생들의 증거집 평가에 대한 인식을 조사하는 것이다. 비교집단은 충북 청원군 미원면의 M초등학교 4학년 45명이며, 실험집단은 대전광역시 G초등학교 4학년 36명이다. 사전 검사로 과학지식 검사1, 과학탐구능력검사, 과학 태도 검사를 두 집단에 실시하였다. 실험집단은 증거집 평가를 적용한 수업을 비교집단은 전통적인 수업을 약 6주 동안 실시하였다. 두 집단 모두 사후 검사로 과학지식 검사2, 과학 탐구능력검사, 과학 태도 검사를 실시하였다. 증거집 평가에 대한 인식 검사지를 실험집단에 실시하였다. 결과는 SPSS를 이용하여 통계적으로 분석하였다. 비교집단이 실험집단보다 과학 지식 검사에서 높은 성취를 보였다. 과학 탐구능력과 과학 태도에서는 의미있는 차이가 없었다. 하위 영역 분석 결과 과학적 태도에서 실험집단이 비교집단보다 통계적으로 유의미하게 높은 성취를 보였다. 학생들의 증거집 평가에 대한 인식은 매우 긍정적으로 나타났다. 학생들은 증거집 평가에 대한 흥미, 학습 참여도, 자기 주도적 학습, 고차적 사고, 앞으로 참여 의사 등과 같은 대부분의 하위 영역에서 긍정적인 반응을 보였다.

고등학교 발명 활동과 대학 특허교육 성취와의 관계 (The Relationship Between High School Invention Activities and College Patent Education Achievement)

  • As intellectual property has become an important competitive element in the industry, government-led patent education is rapidly expanding. It is important to look at whether each patent education course is organically linked to each other under a life-long patent education system from elementary school to college. This study focused on the link between high school education and college education to analyze statistically how invention activities in high school affect patent education achievement at college. Statistical analysis of a survey of students taking a basic course of intellectual property revealed no statistically significant correlation between invention experience in high school and college students' patent class total score, contrary to popular perception. These results are believed to be due to the distribution of data on the number of invention contest participations or the number of invention class participations, which does not form a normal distribution and has a relatively large skewness. Rather, the attendance to the patent class showed a relatively distinct positive linear correlation with the patent class total score, indicating that the student's attitude in class was important for the patent education achievement.

초등학교 어린이의 성별 및 비만도 수준에 따른 식생활인지.실천수준의 비교 (Comparison of Perception and Practice Levels of Dietary Life in Elementary School Children according to Gender and Obesity Status)

  • This study was performed to analyze children's perceptions and practice levels according to gender and obesity status using a dietary life safety index. A national survey was conducted on fifth grade children (n = 2,400), who were selected using three-stage stratified cluster sampling from 16 provinces. The average height was 144.8 cm, and weight was 38.8 kg. The average body mass index was 18.4 kg/$m^2$ and underweight, overweight, and obese children were identified using the 2009 KHNANES cutoff values, which were 5.3%, 10%, and 5.9%, respectively. The perception and practice scores for hand-washing prior to eating were high and the score for willing to buy at a clean store was also high. However, students answered that the hygiene level of food stores near the school was poor. More students skipped breakfast than lunch or dinner. The frequency scores for fruit and vegetables were significantly higher for girls than those for boys. Students had a good understanding of nutrition labeling but did not frequently check the label. Seventy-five percent of the students tried to avoid high calorie foods with low nutritional value, but only 40% had the appropriate knowledge about high calorie foods with low nutritional value. Girls had better dietary life perception and practice levels than those of boys. No differences in perception or practice levels were observed based on obesity status. Nutrition education on the importance of eating breakfast and having accurate knowledge on nutrition labeling and high calorie foods with low nutritional value is needed. Behavior-centered education should be implemented to improve the perceptions and practice level of student's dietary life.

보건교사의 비만관리실태 조사연구 (A study on practice of obesity control by school nurses)

  • This study was a research study to find out the real picture and practice of student obesity control by primary, middle and high school school nurses. The study sampled 196 school nurses working in the Busan City and Northern Gyungsang Province, who agreed on the purpose of the study. When it comes to the study process, at the meeting of the whole school nurses, the researcher explained the purpose of the study and asked them to complete questionnaires and return on the spot. The study is designed to provide basic data for school nurses in field to systematically and efficiently control student obesity by examining perception of school obesity control and the real picture or practice of obesity control as well as its problems. The study used SPSS 10.0 to analyze data. The results are as follows: Annual plans about obesity control appeared significant at the primary school, 89.3%, higher than 77.3% of the middle and high school(p<0.05). Annual project evaluation showed a significant difference by regions, 56.0% of metro cities vs. small cities(p<0.01). The number of measuring weight of obese students was higher at the primary school than at the middle and high school(p<0.05). Also small cities conducted the weight measurement more often than metro cities(p<0.001). Among the health education methods for obesity, counseling appeared statistically significant(p<.01). The health education showed a significant difference in more experienced school nurses. Among the educational media, environment postings were used at the primary school, 24.0%, higher than 5.3% of the middle and high school. It showed a significant difference(p<.001). OHP or epidiascopes were used at the primary school, 36.4%, significantly higher than the middle and high school(p<.001). In addition, computer was used at the primary school, 21.5%, higher than the middle and high school(p<.05). Problems of obesity education data included a lack of textbooks and programs and a short of educational media. However it didnt show a significant difference in schools or in regions. Counseling activities for obesity showed a significant difference in schools(p<.01) and in regions(p<.001). When parents with obese students were in counseling, those in their 20s used home correspondence and those in their 30s and 40s used phone call(p<.01). The rate of equipment to measure obesity was higher at the middle and high school than the primary school, showing a significant difference(p<.001). Therefore, regular health education curriculums for school nurses should be systematically created to promote student health. Furthermore, it needs to make standard textbooks for health education by grades as well as by levels and to develop various educational programs and educational media.

초등학생 자녀를 둔 어머니의 방과 후 돌봄 교실에 대한 인식과 정책적 요구 (Elementary school children with mother's perception and policy demands for after school care classes)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생 자녀를 둔 어머니의 방과후 돌봄교실에 대한 인식과 정책적인 요구에 대해 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구참여자는 서울, 경기, 인천, 강원에 있는 초등학생 자녀를 둔 어머니 25명이었다. 자료수집은 2017년 6월 23일부터 2017년 7월 18일까지 포커스그룹면담으로 이루어졌다. 자료분석을 통해 연구결과를 '어머니가 바라보는 방과후 돌봄교실의 현실'과 '어머니의 방과후 돌봄교실에 대한 정책적 요구'로 분석하였다. '어머니가 바라보는 방과후 돌봄교실의 현실'은 '전반적인 방과후 돌봄교실의 수준이 낮음', '로또같은 선정확률', '교사의 수준에 따라 달라지는 교육의 질', '돌봄교실에 다니는 아이에 대한 부정적인 인식'으로 제시하였다. '어머니의 방과후 돌봄교실에 대한 정책적 요구'는 '사고육의 대체제로 자리매김하기', '학부모 기대와의 괴리감 개선', '돌봄 대상 선정자의 확대', '탄력적인 운영에 대한 요구'로 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결론으로 첫째, 방과후 돌봄교실이 돌봄 기능에 집중할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 방과후 돌봄교실의 수준별 운영이 필요하다. 셋째, 방과후 돌봄교실이 사교육의 대안으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 부모의 현실적인 요구를 반영하여야 한다.

대학생들의 죽음 교육 전과 후의 웰다잉 인식과 결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Well-Dying Recognition and Decision of Death before and after Education Among University Students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들이 죽음학 강좌 수강 이전과 이후 웰다잉 인식과 결정이 어떻게 변화되었는가를 비교 연구하고자 한다. 대전광역시 소재 일개 대학교에서 죽음학 관련 교양강좌를 2016년 8월부터 12월까지 15주 동안 수강한 대학생 교육 전 93명, 교육 후 117명 대상으로 연구 참여 희망자에 한해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문구성은 일반적인 특성은 성별, 연령, 학년, 전공, 결혼상태, 종교, 가족 동거여부, 건강상태 8항목이었다. 죽음의 인식 측면에 관한 4항목, 죽음의 수용 측면 5항목, 죽음의 결정 측면 7항목, 죽음 교육의 관심도와 중요도 12항목을 리커트 척도로 구성하였다. 통계 검정법으로는 카이제곱검정, 독립표본 t-검정, 의사결정나무 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 의사결정나무 토대로 종합해보면, 죽음 준비 시기가 죽음에 직면한 시기(암환자, 말기환자 등)와 노인(65세 이상)에서 교육 전이 66.7%로 나타났으나, 교육 후에는 성인과 중 고등학교, 초등학교 이하, 대학교, 대학원에서 교육 후가 65.3%로 나타났으며 이는 유의한 차이를 보였다. 따라서 죽음교육의 효과성과 죽음교육의 시기와 내용 등을 어떻게 구체화 시킬 것인가에 대한 방향 제시를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대되며, 초 중 고등학교, 대학교에서의 죽음교육 실시에 대한 부정적인 시각과 우려를 해소하고 죽음 교육이 학생들의 삶에 태도 변화에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 사료된다.

아동이 지각한 교사-아동 관계와 교사의 심리통제가 아동의 공격성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Teacher-Child Relationship and the Teacher's Psychological Control as Perceived by the Child on a Child's Aggression)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the teacher-child relationship and child's perception of the psychological control of teachers on a child's aggression. A total of 216 4th graders from Dongjak-gu and Gwanak-gu, Seoul, participated in this study. A multiple regression analysis and Pearson's correlation analysis were performed using the SPSS ver. 18.0 program. The results were as follows: first, there was a meaningful relationship between a teacher-child relationship, the teacher's psychological control and the child's aggression. Second, closeness between the teacher and the child could reduce the child's overt and relational aggression, while conflicts between the teacher and the child could increase the child's overt, relational, and overall aggression. The teacher's blame, limit of the child's self-expression, and guilt induction could increase the child's overt aggression. Further, the teacher's withdrawal of affection, emotional disapproval, blame, and limit of self-expression could increase the child's relational aggression. In particular, the teacher's blame appeared to influence both the child's overt aggression and the child's overall aggression, and the teacher's withdrawal of affection appeared to influence the child's relational aggression. These results suggest that the relationship between a teacher and a child is a matter of mutual contribution. In other words, the better the teacher-student relationship is, the greater is the decrease in the child's aggression. This study provides the basic data for the development of an aggression prevention program for elementary school children.

초등학교 내 학교숲 기능에 관한 교사 - 학생간 인식 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Teacher-Student Perception of Forest Function in Elementary School)

  • With rapid economic growth, the urban environment has created a problem of human physical and mental illness. In order to solve these problems, urban forests have emerged as a way to mitigate the environmental risks through improving the polluted environment of the city and improve the quality of life. As the urban forests have expanded, the school forests movement has also been taking an important place recently. The study focused on the performance of school forests by comparing the perceptions among teachers and students about their functions. The questionnaire was composed of 4 questions concerning human matters, 10 questions for space recognition, 4 questions for thermal environment, 2 questions for health promotion, and 20 total questions for composition of survey items. The reliability of the school forest function, number of tree planting areas and quantities, the harmony of the planting, and the satisfaction of the school forest were analyzed in the questionnaire conducted by the school members. Although it does not recognize school forests, it has a positive response to the green space that is built outdoors. It is considered that outdoor education and environmental education are sufficient in school forests and green spaces. The results showed that the outdoor green space was more satisfactory when compared with the general school. Teachers and students' preferences were similar to 'seasonal changes' and' trees of various colors and shapes'. The reliability analysis between each item shows that the coefficient for cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was .700 to .834. The purpose of this study is to identify the perception of forest function among school forest members and to utilize them as a basic data in the future.

초등학교 아동들의 진로인식 수준과 자아존중감과의 관계 연구 (A STUDY ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LEVEL OF CAREER AWARENESS AND SELF-ESTEEM OF CHILDREN IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS)

  • Fundamental direction of the seventh education curriculum aims to nurture active and creative Koreans for globalized and information-oriented society of 21 century, and emphasizes the importance of career education identifying its subsections that are practices of student-focused education of aptitude, ability and career. Hence, as a clear targeting of career objective from elementary school through relevant career education enables them to recognize appropriate career for themselves, the basis of self- actualization and social contribution must be settled. This paper seeks to identify the relationship between career awareness and self-esteem by examining and analysing differences of sex, region and level. This study selected 536 samples from 4th and 6th year elementary school students in C city and S town of Chungcheong province. Career awareness test and self-esteem test is used as a measurement, statistical process control (SPC) of career awareness and self-esteem (M, SD, r) is made for each variable, and the significance was tested. The result of this research can be summarized as follows: First, generally there is very significant regional differences of career awareness (F=16.817, p<.001), which contains that urban children has higher career awareness (M=120.22) than that of rural children (M=113.87). In subsections of career awareness, self-esteem of urban children is higher than that of rural children, and the attitude & for career and values of girls is higher than that of boys. In terms of the career planning, urban children and 6th year students are higher than rural children and 4th year students. Second, self-esteem generally has very significant regional difference (F=12.123, p<.01), which contains that the self-esteem of urban children (M=106.50) is higher than that of rural children (M=101.80). In comparison of different forms, a very significant difference is as much as p<.01 level (F=11.046), which contains 4th year students (M=105.63) have higher self-esteem than 6th year students (M=102.05). In subsections of self-esteem, gross self-esteem and social self-esteem of urban children are higher than rural children. In terms of family self-esteem, urban children and 4th year students have higher figure than rural children and 6th year students. In school self-esteem, 4th year students had higher level than the 6th. Third, the career awareness and self-esteem are generally related as r= .50, it was very significant at p<. 001 level. All subsections of career awareness had positive relationships except the school self-esteem. According to the result, rural children had relatively low career awareness and self-esteem. This is presumably due to relatively poor circumstances for rural children, comparing to that of urban children. Therefore rural elementary schools should try to let them have appropriate career awareness by associating with family, school and local society to expand the opportunity of experiences for the self perception of aptitude, nature and interest. In addition, we have to strive for the whole-minded education increasing the self-esteem of rural children and giving them positive thinking through career counselling, personal counselling and group counselling.
