피드백을 고려한 포트폴리오 평가를 적용한 수업이 초등학생의 과학 지식의 탐구능력, 인식에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Lessons adopting Portfolio Assessment regarding Feedback on Elemantary School Student's Scientific Knowledge, Inquiry Ability, and their Perception)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 피드백을 고려한 포트폴리오 평가를 적용한 수업이 초등학교 학생들의 과학 지식, 탐구 능력, 포트폴리오 평가에 대한 자기 인식에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 이 연구를 위하여 시근교에 위치한 초등학교 5학년 2반을 선정하였다. 한반은 실험반으로 피드백을 고려한 포트폴리오 평가를 적용한 수업을 실시하였으며, 다른 반은 비교반으로 피드백을 고려하지 않은 포트폴리오 평가를 적용한 수업을 실시하였다. 연구자가 직접 이 반을 모두 가르쳤다. 연구 결과, 과학 지식에서는 실험반과 비교반이 통계적으로 차이가 있었다. 과학 지식의 하위 요소들을 분석한 결과, 피드백의 효과는 기억과 이해 영역에서 긍정적이었으나, 적용 영역에서는 효과적이지 못하였다. 탐구 영역에서도 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 포트폴리오 평가에 대한 인식을 알아본 문항에서는 실험반 학생들이 수업의 효과에 대한 인식과 과학에 대한 태도의 인식에서 비교반보다 더 긍정적으로 반응하였다. 그러나 비교반 학생들은 자신의 포트폴리오 작품에 대한 인식과 피드백의 필요성에 대한 인식이 실험반보다 더 긍정적이었다.

아동 리더십에 관한 교사와 아동의 암묵적 지식과 양측이 리더로 지각한 아동들의 창의적 리더 유형 차이 (Implicit Knowledge on Children's Leadership and Creative Leaders' Styles by Teachers and Children)

  • This study examined differences between teachers' and children's implicit knowledge, perception and characteristics of leaders, and creative leadership styles of perceived leaders. The 207 elementary 6th grade student and 13 elementary teacher participants completed open questionnaires. Results showed that (1) 30% of implicit knowledge of children's leadership between teachers and children were different; teachers included more charismatic features; children focused on responsibilities of leaders. (2) The list of perceived leaders' traits were similar to the implicit traits in both groups. (3) Scores of perceived leaders by teachers and children were higher in creativity and leadership than those of ordinary children. Over 75 percent of perceived leaders were also classified as creative leaders.

광주전남지역 초등학교급식에서 쌀가루와 쌀가공제품 이용현황 및 영양(교)사의 인지도 (Studies on Nutritionist's Perception and Usage of Rice Products among Foodservice Meals in Elementary School Foodservice in Gwangju and Jeonnam Area)

  • To provide rice products in substituted for wheat flour and wheat products in elementary school foodservice, the survey for nutritionist in elementary school was accomplished from November 3rd to 8th, 2012 in Gwangju and Jeonnam area, and obtained 83 and 95 copies from Gwangju and Jeonnam, respectively. Most nutritionists were graduated from universities and had careers longer than 15 years. The nutritionists (56.7%) had worked at the schools where food allergy students were enrolled. The consumption of wheat flours per one student per month was 677.8 g in Gwangju and 707.4 g in Jeonnam. Udon and Jajangmyeon were more popular wheat products. Nutritionist agreed positively that rice products instead of wheat products were possible to use for meal menu (73.5% in Gwangju and 61.1% in Jeonnam). The frequent use of rice products was tteokbokkitteok, because of students' preference. The rice bread and tteokguktteok were preferred significantly higher in Jeonnam than in Gwangju. The advantages of rice products which perceived by nutritionists were benefits for health, digestive easily, and high nutritious, but their disadvantages were hard-to-find and expensive. The nutritional values of rice and recipes for cooking rice products were required as educational program for increasing consumption of rice products. Demonstration for rice cooking methods was selected most popular program. The application of rice products for school foodservice was preferred to Jeonnam compared to Gwangju (p<0.001). As a consequence, the nutritionists working in elementary school in Gwangju and Jeonnam area have positive thought about using rice products in school foodservice, if educational program of school foodservice menu using rice products should be demonstrated them.

서술형 평가에 대한 인식 및 실태에 관한 조사연구 -서울시 소재 초등교사를 중심으로- (A Survey of Perception and Status about Descriptive Assessment -Focused on Elementary School Teachers in Seoul Area-)

  • 수행평가가 시작된 지 10여년이 지난 현재, 서술형 평가 실시에 대한 초등교사들의 인식과 실태가 어떠한지 조사하기 위하여 서울특별시 소재 11개 지역교육지원청에 소속된 공립 초등학교의 초등 교사 212명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 대부분의 초등 교사들이 수학 교과 서술형 평가가 필요하다고 인식하고 있었으며, 서술형 평가 실시의 목표로는 학습 목표에 근거한 성취도를 정확히 측정하는 것으로 주로 인식하고 있었으며, 교사들이 서술형 평가 문항을 제작할 때 가장 많이 참고하는 자료는 교과서 문제로 나타났다. 문항 제작시 가장 많이 고려하는 사항은 난이도로 나타났다. 서술형 평가의 효과로는 수학적인 사고능력이 뛰어난 학생을 선발할 수 있는 변별력을 들었으며, 서술형 평가 실시에 대하여 교사들이 언급한 문제점으로는 학급당 학생 수가 과다하다는 점과 수학과 서술형 평가 문항개발이 어렵다는 점을 들었다.

청국장에 대한 성남지역 일부 초등학생의 인지도와 선호도 조사 (Survey on Elementary School Student's Perception and Preference of Chungkukjang in Seongnam Area)

  • The principal objective of this study was to assess perceptions and preferences of chungkukjang in elementary school children who used a school foodservice. In this investigation, 583 elementary school students(300 boys, 283 girls) in the Seongnam area were surveyed via questionnaire, and the collected data were analyzed using the SAS package. The results demonstrated that 82.0% of students responded that they were aware of chungkukjang. Female students were more aware of chungkulgang than were male students, and children of the nuclear families were more aware of those of the extended family. With regard to the origins of their interest in chungkulgang, 51.8% of the subjects answered 'through home education' and 35.5% learned about chungkukjang 'through mass media'. Most students recognized chungkulgang as a 'healthy food' and a 'Korean traditional food'. Approximately 44% of the students ate chungkukjang in the school foodservice once per month, and 41.7% preferred this menu. Therefore, in order to increase elementary school students' knowledge and intake of chungkulgang, the school should attempt to foster the quality of chungkulgang in nutrition education, to serve chungkukjang frequently in school foodservices, and to develop recipes for tastier chungkukjang foods for children.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the school parent and student's perception of Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics and to suggest plan to school parent of multicultural and learning disability families. The subjects of this study were elementary and secondary teachers who teaching Practical Arts or Technology Home Economics. The instrument of this study was questionnaire including five sections: influence on students by Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics, interest in Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics to school parents, school support with learning ability improvement, school parents support with home in Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics, data form of school parents support with home in Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics. The findings of this study were as follows; Sociality development of students is influential by Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics. School parents and students believe important subjects in Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics. Teachers ask for support with learning ability improvement for practical training space and programs in Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics. School parents ask for support with learning ability improvement of programs of teaching learning method for home education on Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics.

초등수학영재학급에서 교수자의 지도 목표와 학습자의 학습 목표 인식 간극 분석 (Analysis on the Perception Discrepancy between Teacher's Teaching Goal and Students' Learning Goal in the Elementary School Mathematics Class for the Gifted)

  • 본 연구는 영재학급에서 수업 중 교사가 강조하는 지도 목표와 학생들이 인식하는 학습 목표 도달 정도의 차이를 분석해 봄으로써 영재학급에서의 학습 목표 제시 방식을 개선하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 초등학교 6학년 2개 학급(각 20명씩 총 40명) 학생들의 활동지를 양적으로 분석하였으며, 각 학급 내 성취 수준이 상, 중, 하위권에서 각 1명씩을 대상으로 수업 중 연구자 참여 관찰과 수업 후 개별 면담을 통해 그들의 학습 목표 인식 사례를 질적으로 분석하였다. 학습 목표는 내용면, 과정면, 태도면에서 각각의 하위 요소별로 교사가 사전에 기술해 놓은 것에 대해 교사 자신이 강조한 정도와 학생이 인식한 정도의 간극을 항목별로 차이를 수치화하여 비교하였다. 연구 결과 영재학급 학생들은 내용면보다는 상대적으로 과정면에서 학습 목표에 대한 인식이 낮음을 알 수 있었는데, 전반적으로 연역적 사고, 유추적 사고, 발전적 사고에 있어서 교사의 강조 정도와 인식 정도의 차이를 보였고 특히 유추적 사고에서 학습 목표에 대한 그 인식 정도가 가장 큰 차이를 보였다. 이를 통해 얻게 된 몇 가지 교육적 시사점을 제시하였다.

과학글쓰기를 활용한 학생주도 모둠 탐구활동에 의한 초등 과학 수업 변화 탐색 (Exploring Changes in Elementary Science Class Using Student-Oriented Group Inquiry with Science Writing)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 탐구를 도모하는 과학글쓰기를 이용한 학생주도적 모둠 탐구활동을 실시한 과학수업에서 나타난 변화를 탐색하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 학생의 활동 보고서, 학습 환경에 대한 인식, 담화유형을 변화의 핵심으로 보았다. 학생들의 탐구활동에서 비계의 역할을 할 수 있도록 과학 글쓰기 활동지를 개발하여 초등학교 4학년 1학급 29명의 학생을 대상으로 학생주도적 모둠 탐구활동에 적용하였다. 이를 위해 모둠 탐구활동은 2007 개정교육과정 4학년 1학기 4개 단원에서 총 16차시 수업을 실시하였고, 이를 모두 녹화하였다. 우선 학생 보고서를 분석하기 위해 Millar (2010)가 제시한 분석틀을 이용하여 과학탐구 정합성 평가의 틀로 활용하였다. 두 번째로 학생의 과학 수업 및 과학에 대한 인식의 변화를 알아보기 위하여 비교반 1개 반을 선정하여 과학수업 및 과학에 대한 인식을 사전 사후 비교하였다. 마지막으로 16차시 수업 중, 초기 수업과 말기 수업에서의 교사와 학생 간의 담화 형태가 어떻게 나타나는지 알아보았다. 이러한 과정을 통하여 얻어진 결과 통해 학생의 질문과 주장 사이의 정합성은 초기보다 말기에 증가했고, 학생의 자신의 학습 환경에 대한 인식이 좀 더 학생 중심 쪽으로 이동한 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 담화의 유형이 더욱 교사중심보다는 학생중심에 가까워졌음을 발견하였다.

Formation of a Person's Value Attitude to the Worldview Using Information Technologies

  • The article analyzes the features of the formation of a person's value attitude to the worldview by means of information technologies. The present considers it necessary to form a person's value attitude to the perception of the world by means of information technologies. The explosive development of information and telecommunications technologies has become a determining factor in the development of modern society, which is called the information or Global Information Society. It is not yet fully formed, and we are all participants in the development of the Global Information Society. The article considers the basics of a harmonious worldview of a person, which is the basis for the formation of outlook ideas, views, knowledge, beliefs about the surrounding world, which determine the place and role and motivate actions in relation to the surrounding reality through the prism of value orientations. Worldview is considered as an integrity of relatively stable schemes, behaviors, feelings, thinking, vision of the surrounding world, inherent in an individual child, ethno-cultural and socio-cultural groups. The concept of "worldview" as a component of the multi-level structure of the individual's outlook is defined. The features that characterize a person's perception of the world are revealed. The main educational value of information technologies in the formation of a person's value attitude to the perception of the world is highlighted, which consists in the fact that they allow you to create an immeasurable brighter multi-sensory interactive learning environment with almost unlimited potential opportunities that fall at the disposal of both the teacher and the student. The trend of forming a person's value attitude to the perception of the world is clearly developing in the direction of mixed learning as a process that creates a comfortable information educational environment, communication systems that provide all the necessary educational information. The approach to student development by means of the educational environment and the formation, while in the person of a value attitude to the perception of the world by means of Information Technologies, has many pedagogical advantages, which is considered in the article.

불간섭주의와 교사협력 - 과학수업을 위한 두 초등교사의 교사협력 사례 연구 - (Noninterference and Teacher Collaboration - The Case Study of Two Elementary School Teachers' Collaboration for Science Classes -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the interaction of science PCK between two elementary school teachers by the teacher collaboration within the school. We chose the case that two teachers collaborated spontaneously in the 5th-grade science classes. Even though they had similar teaching experiences, one of them had the science PCK while the other did not. As a result of this study, two teachers began to collaborate to avoid comparisons of science classes between them. They shared the same teaching plan but practiced science teaching individually. During they taught science, they usually collaborated on the instructional sequences, student's activities, and the content of assessments. They had an in-depth collaboration when the teacher who lacked the science PCK asked help to teach problem-centered learning by science inquiry. During the collaboration, their science PCK components, especially the knowledge of instructional strategies for teaching science, shared and it affected the teacher's science practices who lacked the science PCK. However, they did not usually share the knowledge of teaching for their everyday science classes because two teachers had the perception of noninterference about their science classes. This case has the limitation that it is hard to generalize the results but teacher collaboration shows the possibility to develop the elementary school teachers' science professionalism by having peers in the school who can help them in science classes.
