User Behavior Model Based on Shooting Photograph Interaction for Funology ; Focused on 'PhoDoSee' Kiosk (퍼놀로지를 위한 사진 촬영 인터랙션 기반에서의 사용자 행태 모델 ; '포도씨' 키오스크를 중심으로)

  • Recently, shooting photographs have become highly popular among general public and been used by various media such as digital camera, mobile, and kiosk. We could find that users prefer to Funology which is combined by fun and hardware technology on emotional point of view. Shooting photographs attracts user participation and makes effect of design to expand. The goal of this study is to classify user actions in a electronic kiosk which includes digital photography function based on the perspective of Funology and to bulit user behaviors model. Therefore user group model will be defined, and then interaction design guidelines of shooting photographs will be proposed. For this research, first of all, the concepts of Funology and user interaction with taking photographs are classified to three types which is based on literature investigation. Secondly, "Phodosee" kiosk is examined with Funology design elements which have been categorized beforehand. Then user's behaviors which are shown their interaction with "Phodosee" kiosk are observed and analyzed using video ethnography based on Funology perspectives. Finally, four persona models are suggested based on user's behaviors as follows; 1) to avoid being taken photography, 2) to try to shoot photography, 3) to participate shooting photography and 4) to lead others to take photography. To summarize this study, effects and limitations of Funology design elements using digital photography are discussed and guideline is suggested to improve user experience design.

Analysis of visible light communication system using 15 watt LED and 40 watt solar panel (소형 창고형 공장 적용을 고려한 15와트 LED 조명과 40와트 태양광 패널을 활용한 가시광통신 송수신 시스템 분석)

  • In addition to the diffusion of ICT technology, various protocols of short range wireless communication technology are being applied for efficient information operation. However, due to limitations of short-range wireless communication, communication is not smooth in places where frequency environment is poor, such as frequency confusion and warehouse type factory. When an alternative is needed. The development of LED technology and expansion of infrastructure through LED based visible light communication is attracting attention as an alternative and spreading the usage in wide range now a days. In addition, the infrastructure has been expanded with solar panels in response to the development of smarthome built-in with renewable energy. In this situation, visible light communication using PD has been limitedly applied in a near environment where the receiving angle of the PD and the ambient light ensure the LoS and the influence of the ambient light is small. In order to solve this problem, we have implemented visible light communication using LED lighting with large current infrastructure and solar panel with large receiving area, and proposed a circuit for restoring accurate data even in ambient light. Through this study results, it is expected that visible light communication can be more widely used and this result used as the base data for visible light communication research using the solar panel as the receiver.

A Study on Lambertian Color Segmentation and Canny Edge Detection Algorithms for Automatic Display Detection in CamCom (저속 카메라 통신용 자동 디스플레이 검출을 위한 Lambertian 색상 분할 및 Canny Edge Detection 알고리즘 연구)

  • Recent advancements in camera communication (CamCom) technology using visible light exploited to use display as an luminance source to modulate the data for visible light data communication. The existing display-CamCom techniques uses the selected region of interest based camera capturing approach to detect and decode the 2D color coded data on display screen. This is not effective way to do communicate when the user on mobility. This paper propose the automatic display detection using Lambertian color segmentation combined with canny edge detection algorithms for CamCom in order to avoid manual region of interest selection to establish communication link between display and camera. The automatic display detection methods fails using conventional edge detection algorithms when content changes dynamically in displays. In order to solve this problem lambertian color segmentation combined with canny edge detection algorithms are proposed to detect display automatically. This research analysed different algorithms on display edge recognition and measured the performance on rendering dynamically changing content with color code on display. The display detection rate is achieved around 96% using this proposed solutions.

  • At present, a variety of Korean news stories have been about important online content and its importance in the press is becoming higher. Diverse news from businesses are provided to the public as press releases through newspapers or broadcasting media. For such news to become information for a press release, enterprises visit reporters, use e-mails, faxes, or couriers to deliver the information. However, such methods have problems with time, human resources, expenses, and file damage. Also, with these methods it is bothersome for enterprises to check what has been released and for the press to make frequent contact with enterprises for interviews and for content to be released. Therefore, this study aimed to realize a distribution system which enterprises can use to distribute data to be released to the press and to easily check what is to be released while the press can ask for interview requests in a simple way, as well as a news gathering robot that can collects news on the enterprises involved from articles online or in portal sites.

  • The purpose of this study is mainly to provide theoretical basis of private security industry by analyzing the perception and flow of private security from the press-released materials according to periodic classification and duties through 'Big Kinds', a website of analyzing news big data. The research method has been changed to structured data to allow an analysis of various scattered unstructured data, and the keywords trend and related words by duties of private security were analyzed in growth period of private security. The perception of private security based on the results of the study was exposed a lot by the media through various crimes, accidents and incidents, and the issues related permanent position. Also, it tended to be perceived as a simple security guard, not recognized as the area of private security, and judging from the high correlation between private security and police, it was recognized not only as a role to assist the police force, but also as a common agent in charge of the public peace. Therefore, it should objectively judge the perception of private security, and through this, it is believed that it should be a foundation for recognizing private security as a main agent responsible for the safety of the nation and maintaining social orders.

A Study on the Meaning of Record Contents Based on Record Continuum: Focusing on the Record Contents of Religious Institutions (레코드 컨티뉴엄 기반 기록콘텐츠의 의미 모색 종교기관 기록콘텐츠 사례를 중심으로)

  • This study reinterprets the meaning of the record contents from the viewpoint of the record continuum to find ways to enhance the usability of records that are emphasized by the electronic record environments. In general, in academic discussions and practical examples, record contents are recognized as digital media produced by putting a high level of computer technologies and a big budget based on some records related to specific subjects. To enhance the usability of, and spread the meaning through, records, it is necessary to shift the awareness in record contents. For this purpose in Chapter 2, to grasp the meanings of the church records as well as the utilization direction, it is necessary to analyze the organization and function. Therefore, the analysis of the organization and function of the church was examined. In Chapter 3, this study attempted to find the meaning of the contents of church records in each dimension of the record continuum in relation to the mission of the church, which was identified through the organization and function analysis of the church. In Section 3, which corresponds to Dimension 4, the meaning of church record contents is diversified in society. In the end, this study suggests that the meaning and use value of records can be found in everyday life and can then be spread to society as well.

A Study on Court Auction System using Ethereum-based Ether (이더리움 기반의 이더를 사용한 법원 경매 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Blockchain technology is also actively studied in the real estate transaction field, and real estate transactions have various ways. In this paper, we propose a model that simplifies the authentication procedure of auction systems using Ethereum's Ether to solve the problem of offline court auctions. The proposed model is written in Ethereum's Solidity language, the court registers the sale date and the sale date with the DApp browser, and the bidder accesses the address of the individual's wallet created through Metamask's private key. The bidder then selects the desired sale and enters the bid price amount to participate in the auction. The bidder's record of the highest bid price for the sale he wants is written on the Ethereum test network as a smart contract. and creates a block. Finally, smart contracts written on the network are distributed by the court auction manager to all nodes in the blockchain network, and each node in the blockchain network can be viewed and contract verified. As a result of analyzing the smart contracts of the proposed model and the performance of the system, there are fees incurred due to the creation and use of Ether on platforms using Ethereum, and participation. Ether's changes in value affect the price of the sale, resulting in inconsistent fees in smart contracts each time. However, in future work, we issue our own tokens to solve the market volatility problem and commission problem with the value change of Ether, and refine complex court auction systems.

The Effects of Whole Body Vibration Exercise on Balance and Gait Ability in Stroke Patients: A meta-analysis (전신진동운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형 및 보행 능력에 미치는 효과: 메타분석)

  • This study was a meta-analysis of previous studies that subjected stroke patients to the whole-body vibration exercise, in an attempt to evaluate the effectiveness of such exercise in improving their balance and walking ability. The electronic databases used for literature search were the National Assembly Library, Korean Educational Academic Information (RISS), Korean Academic Information (KISS), and Nuri Media (DBPIA). We also investigated a prior study of the whole-body vibration exercise applied to stroke patients from January 2010 to August 2020. In assessing the quality of the study, the RCT (randomized controls trials) study used the risk of bias 2 (RoB2) tool developed by the Cochrane group. Meta-analysis was performed using R software for statistical computing version 4.0.3. The results of the study confirmed that the overall effect size was 0.40, and the whole-body vibration exercise used had a moderate effect on the balance and gait of stroke patients, the effect size of balance was 0.44, and the effect size of gait was 0.36, showing a positive effect. These results indicated that the whole-body vibration exercise is an effective intervention for stroke patients, and further research is needed.

A Feature Map Compression Method for Multi-resolution Feature Map with PCA-based Transformation (PCA 기반 변환을 통한 다해상도 피처 맵 압축 방법)

  • In this paper, we propose a compression method for multi-resolution feature maps for VCM. The proposed compression method removes the redundancy between the channels and resolution levels of the multi-resolution feature map through PCA-based transformation. According to each characteristic, the basis vectors and mean vector used for transformation, and the transformation coefficient obtained through the transformation are compressed using a VVC-based coder and DeepCABAC. In order to evaluate performance of the proposed method, the object detection performance was measured for the OpenImageV6 and COCO 2017 validation set, and the BD-rate of MPEG-VCM anchor and feature map compression anchor proposed in this paper was compared using bpp and mAP. As a result of the experiment, the proposed method shows a 25.71% BD-rate performance improvement compared to feature map compression anchor in OpenImageV6. Furthermore, for large objects of the COCO 2017 validation set, the BD-rate performance is improved by up to 43.72% compared to the MPEG-VCM anchor.

Analysis of E-Waste Disposal Trends in a Security Perspective (보안관점의 전자폐기물 처리동향 분석 연구)

  • The increased demand for electronic components, spurred by the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic, has facilitated human life but also escalated the production of e-waste. Discussions on the impact of e-waste have primarily revolved around environmental, health, and social issues, with global legislations focusing on addressing these concerns. However, e-waste poses unique security risks, such as potential technological and personal information leaks, unlike conventional waste. Current discourse on e-waste security is notably insufficient. This study aims to empirically analyze the relatively overlooked trends in e-waste security, employing three methodologies. Firstly, it assesses the general trend in discussions on e-waste by analyzing year-wise documents and media reports. Secondly, it identifies key trends in e-waste security by examining documents on the subject. Thirdly, the study reviews national security guidelines related to e-waste disposal to assess the necessity of designing security strategies for e-waste management. This research is significant as it is one of the first in korea to address e-waste from a security perspective and offers a multi-dimensional analysis of e-waste security trends. The findings are expected to enhance domestic awareness of e-waste and its security issues, providing an opportunity for proactive response to these security risks.
