태양광 발전과 에너지저장시스템을 활용한 모빌리티 충전 시스템의 제어 방법 (Control Strategies of Mobility Charging Systems Using PV-ESS Systems)

  • Operation modes and control strategies for single-phase mobility charging station utilizing photovoltaic (PV) generation and energy storage systems (ESS) are proposed. This approach generates electric power from PV to transmit the mobility, ESS, and then transfer it to the grid when surplus electric power is generated during daytime. However, the PV power cannot be generated during night-time, and ESS and the mobility system can be charged using grid power. The power balance control based on power fluctuations and the resonant current control that can compensate harmonic components have been added to increase the stability of the system. The MATLAB/Simulink simulation was carried out to verify the proposed control method, and the 2-kW single-phase grid-tied PV-ESS smart mobility charger was built and tested.

  • "Throttle-by-Wire" is an electronic throttle system in which mechanical cables and hydraulics are replaced by a fieldbus network, electric motors and sensors. It is crucial for an electronic throttle to design a controller that can offer an accurate and fast reference tracking performance in the presence of nonlinearities, such as friction in the gearbox and "limp-home" nonlinearity. This paper presents a nonlinear dynamic inversion based control algorithm for electronic throttle systems. Using the proposed method, the specified control performance can be achieved by canceling inherent nonlinear characteristics of the electronic throttle system. The control performance is investigated through a set of simulation results.

  • 본 논문은 원통형 세라믹관에서 온수를 순간적으로 가열하여 설정된 온도 및 수량으로 제어하고자 전자 제어기를 개발하였다. 순간온수기의 구조는 유입되는 온수가 원통형 세라믹 히터를 통하여 열량을 공급하여 온도를 제어하고자 설계하였고, 또한 수량센서와 임펠러를 이용한 수량을 제어하는 전자 제어기를 설계하였다. 순간온수의 제어방법은 유입되는 유량에 열량을 공급하는 원통형 세라믹 히터의 수학적인 모델링을 수립하여 제어기 적용하였고, 이에 대한 실험결과는 설정온도에 따라 제어가 잘 적용되어, 효율적이고 실용성 결과를 보였다. 따라서 원통형 세라믹 순간온수기는 향후 실용제품에 적용할 수 있는 제품구조와 제어 방법을 제시하였다.

  • This paper proposes a decentralized control technique for 2-dimensional experimental helicopter systems. The decentralized control technique is especially suitable in large-scale control systems. We derive the stabilization condition for the interconnected Takagi-Sugeno (75) fuzzy system using the rigorous tool - Lyapunov stability criterion and formulate the controller design condition in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). To demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method, we include the experiment result as well as a computer simulation one, which strongly convinces us the applicability to the industry.

  • This paper presents a new linear-matrix-inequality-based intelligent digital redesign (LMI-based IDR) technique to match the states of the analog and the digital T-S fuzzy control systems at the intersampling instants as well as the sampling ones. The main features of the proposed technique are: 1) the affine control scheme is employed to increase the degree of freedom; 2) the fuzzy-model-based periodic control is employed; and the control input is changed n times during one sampling period; 3) The proposed IDR technique is based on the approximately discretized version of the T-S fuzzy system; but its discretization error vanishes as n approaches the infinity. 4) some sufficient conditions involved in the state matching and the stability of the closed-loop discrete-time system can be formulated in the LMIs format.

  • A throttle/brake control law for the intelligent cruise control(ICC) systems has been proposed in this paper. The ICC system consists of a vehicle detection sensor, the control algorithm and a throttle/brake actuators. For the control of a throttle/brake system, we introduced a solenoid-valve-controlled electronic vacuum booster and a step-motor controlled throttle actuator. Nonlinear computer model for the electronic vacuum booster has been developed and the simulations were per formed using a complete nonlinear vehicle model. The results indicate the proposed throttle/brake control law can provide the ICC system with an optimized performance.

  • In this paper, an active backstepping design is proposed to achieve control and synchronization of a new hyperchaotic system. The proposed method is a systematic design approach and exists in a recursive procedure that interlaces the choice of a Lyapunov function with the design of the active control. The proposed controller enables stabilization of chaotic motion to the origin as well as synchronization of the two identical new hyperchaotic systems. Numerical simulations illustrate the validity of the proposed control technique.

  • 최근 차량의 안전에 관한 기술은 전자 및 제어분야의 기술이 접목되어 능동 안전 시스템이 개발되고 있다. ABC(Active Body Control), ABS(Antilock Brake System), ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control) 기술이 대표적이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 기술은 전자 제어 장치를 기반으로 하고 있으며, 차량 네트워크로 데이터를 실시간으로 공유한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기계식으로 구성되어 수동으로 작동되는 주차 브레이크 장치를 차량용 네트워크인 CAN를 이용하여 자동으로 작동될 수 있도록 제어 알고리즘 구현과 응용 어플리케이션을 구현한다. 또한 구현되는 제어시스템을 통해 기존의 차량내 전자제어시스템과 통합 운영할 수 있는 가능성을 확인한다.

  • This paper presents a grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system with direct coupled power quality control (PQC) algorithm, which uses an inner current control loop (PRT : polarized ramp time) and outer feedback control loop to improve grid power quality and maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of PV arrays. To reduce the complexity, cost and number of power conversions, which results in higher efficiency, single stage CCVSI (Current Controlled Voltage Source Inverter) is used. The proposed system operation has been divided into two modes (sunny and night). In night mode, the proposed system operates to compensate the reactive power demanded by nonlinear or variation in loads. in sunny mode, the proposed system performs PQC to reduce harmonic current and improve power factor as well as MPPT to supply active power from the PV arrays simultaneously. it is shown that the proposed system improves the system utilization factor to 100% which is generally low for PV system (20%). To verify the proposed system, a comprehensive evaluation with theoretical analysis and simulation results are presented.

제한 동작 로봇의 강성도 적응성을 갖는 하이브리드 동적 제어에 관한 연구 (Hybrid dynamic control approach for constrained robot motion control with stiffness adaptability)

  • In this paper, we propose a new motion and force control methodology for constrained robots as an approach of hybrid discrete-continuous dynamical system. The hybrid dynamic system modeling of robotic manipulation tasks with constraints is presented, and the hybrid system control architecture for unconstrained and constrained motion system with parametric uncertainties is synthesized. The optimal reference stiffness of robot manipulator is generated by the hybrid automata as a discrete state system and the control behavior of constrained system which has poor modeling information and time-varying constraint function is improved by the constrained robots as a continuous state system. The performance of the proposed constrained motion control system is successfully evaluated via experimental studies to the constraint tasks.
