  • With excellent mechanical properties and durability of concrete and construction materials so far because, as has been the most widely used. However, existing in the electrical conductivity of the concrete material is given the characteristics of the concrete can not expand a lot of applications. For example, the cathode material of a parameter, ground resistance materials, electromagnetic shielding materials, sense of self-diagnostic materials, and anti-static materials are available. Currently, research on the electromagnetic shielding and absorbing mortar is incomplete. And Japan, the United States is part of the research in research institutions. Therefore, this research rate in the mouth in a different mix of conductive graphite particle the physical properties of cement mortar about the basic performance characteristics of the robbery was to figure out.

  • The most of faults in gas insulation of power facilities are caused by partial discharge. Therefore we simulated partial discharge and measured the radiated electromagnetic wave emitted from partial discharge in the $SF_6$ gas by biconical antenna. This paper describes time delay characteristics of radiated electromagnetic waves with distance between antenna and discharge source.

  • In this paper free vibration analysis of symmetric and cross-ply elastic laminated shells based on FSDT was performed through discretization of equations of motion and boundary condition. Model of laminated composite shells subjected to a combination of magnetic and thermal fields is developed. These coupled equations of motion are based on the electromagnetic equations (Faraday, Ampere, Ohm, and Lorenz equations) and thermal equations which are involved in constitutive equations. Dynamic characteristic of composite shells for change of magnetic fields is investigated.

  • This paper presents a design of the electromagnetic pump with an tubular type linear induction motor(TLIM). The TLIM was designed for the fluid system, flow rate $15[{\ell}/min]$, and the thrust 39[N] at 0.29[m/s]. The TLIM is compared measurement with analysis. The electromagnetic pump of flow characteristics are calculated by treating TLIM thrust as a source term in the Navier-Stokes equation. The numerical analysis of flow characteristics of the liquid metal is presented for the various condition and discussed.

  • Structural model of laminated composite plates based on the first order shear deformable plate theory and subjected to a combination of magnetic and thermal fields is developed. Coupled equations of motion are derived via Hamilton's principle on the basis of electromagnetic equations (Faraday, Ampere, Ohm, and Lorenz equations) and thermal equations which are involved in constitutive equations. In order to obtain the implications of a number of geometrical and physical features of the model, one special case is investigated, that is, free vibration of a composite plate immersed in a transversal magnetic field. Special coupling effects between the magnetic and elastic fields are revealed in this paper.

  • This paper presents an electromagnetic kinetic energy harvester which is suitable for supplying power for body-worn sensors and personal electric devices. Human motions are investigated by measuring the acceleration signal at each points of the body during walking and running. The dynamic characteristics of the harvester can be calculated from the transfer function of the system. The transduction factor can be calculated from the electromagnetic field analysis by Maxwell software. The prototype of the harvester is designed and manufactured. The theoretical power characteristics are compared with the experiment results.

  • In this paper free vibration analysis of symmetric and cross-ply elastic laminated shells based on FSDT with two different boundary conditions(C-C, S-S) was performed through discretization of equations of motion and boundary condition. Model of laminated composite cylindrical shells subjected to a combination of magnetic and thermal fields is developed via Hamilton's variational principle. These coupled equations of motion are based on the electromagnetic equations (Faraday, Ampere, Ohm, and Lorenz equations) and thermal equations which are involved in constitutive equations. Variations of dynamic characteristics of composite shells with applied magnetic field, temperature gradient, and stacking sequence for each boundary conditions are investigated and pertinent conclusions are derived.

  • In a coaxial magnetic gear, bridges connecting separate pole pieces are useful for fabrication and also improve mechanical reliability. However, they have a negative influence on electromagnetic performance parameters such as transmission torque and iron loss. This paper investigates the effect of stationary pole pieces connected by bridges on the electromechanical characteristics. The bridge type and thickness are the main parameters influencing the performance of a coaxial magnetic gear. The inner, center, and outer bridge types each show the best performance in terms of different characteristics. However, for any bridge type, an increase in the bridge thickness reduces the overall electromagnetic performance, except for the torque ripple, and improves the overall mechanical performance, including the deformation, von Mises stress, and natural frequency of the stationary part.

  • In compared with air insulated switchgear, GIS has a high efficiency and confidence So the transformer substation can be reduced the size to 1/10. Insulation method using $SF_6$ gas has a very excellent insulation characteristics for high pressure equipment but has a characteristics that insulation heredity is changed for internal unequal electric field. So analysis of electromagnetic field in GIS is very important basic data for structure design and trouble diagnosis process. In compared with established method, SNM in this paper observes variation of the electromagnetic field with real time and get result very similar to measurement. In order to know the variation of electromagnetic field distribution for transient response for time and position, variations are observed when the spacer is bonded and metal particles are moving fast.

  • This paper proposes a design of small controlled reception pattern antenna (CRPA) arrays using circular microstrip loops with frequency-insensitive characteristics. The proposed array consists of seven identical upper and lower circular loops that are electromagnetically coupled, which results in a frequency-insensitive behavior. To demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed feeding mechanism, the proposed array is fabricated, and its antenna characteristics are measured in a full-anechoic chamber. The operating principle of the proposed feeding mechanism is then interpreted using an equivalent circuit model, and the effectiveness of the circular loop shape is demonstrated by calculating near electromagnetic fields in proximity to the radiator. The results confirm that the proposed feeding mechanism is suitable to have frequency-insensitive behavior and induces strong electric and magnetic field strengths for higher radiation gain in extremely small antenna arrays.
