전동식 파워스티어링 모터소음 저감을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Motor Noise Reduction of Electric Power Steering)

  • EPS(Electric Power Steering) system, which has replaced the hydraulic steering system(HPS or HPAS) in many passenger cars recently, have many merits such as low energy consumption, easy mounting, light weight and improvement of environmental pollution. However, EPS system has the problem of motor noise when motor is rotated, which can make a driver feel uncomfortable. There are many techniques to solve those problems, but they are not clear. It is necessary to evaluate the mechanical noise in steering systems, because an EPS has vibration sources such as at the motor gear reducer, manual gears and intermediate joints. In this paper, reduction technique of EPS motor noise is introduced.

  • The propulsion system of next generation electric vehicle is different from the structure and control methods compared with conventional induction motor vehicles by applying an interior permanent magnetic synchronous motor. Permanent magnet motor should be controlled by each individual motor, propulsion device have 1C1M structure by a single inverter to control a single motor.

  • 전기철도는 전력공급시스템과 전기차로 구성되어 있다. 전기철도의 전기차는 대규모의 견인력을 얻을 수 있어 대량수송과 고속운전에 적합하다. 전기차는 모터블록과 견인전동기에 의해서 구동되며, 지령속도에 따라 모터블록에서 견인전동기에 전력을 공급하여 속도가 제어된다. 전기차의 속도제어는 모터블록과 견인전동기의 최소 에너지로 속도를 제어하는 것이 목표이다. 최근의 견인전동기는 직류 및 동기전동기에서 유도전동기를 사용하고 있다. 대부분의 유도전동기는 벡터제어기법을 사용하여 유도전동기의 속도를 제어한다. 본 논문에서는 유도전동기의 벡터제어기법을 이용하여 유도전동기의 속도를 제어하였다. Simulink를 이용하여 제어시스템을 모델링하고, PI 제어기와 Hysteresis 제어기를 이용하여 펄스를 제어하여 전동기의 속도를 제어하였다. 실시간 제어를 위해 IGBT 인버터를 사용하였고, 유도전동기 구동실험에 의해 시스템 성능을 입증하였다.

Sensorless Fuzzy Direct Torque Control for High Performance Electric Vehicle with Four In-Wheel Motors

  • This paper describes a control scheme of speed sensorless fuzzy direct torque control (FDTC) of permanent magnet synchronous motor for electric vehicle (EV). Electric vehicle requires fast torque response and high efficiency of the drive. Speed sensorless FDTC In-wheel PMSM drives without mechanical speed sensors at the motor shaft have the attractions of low cost, quick response and high reliability in electric vehicle application. This paper presents a new approach to estimate the speed of in-wheel electrical vehicles based on Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS). The direct torque control suffers in low speeds due to the effect of changes in stator resistance on the flux measurements. To improve the system performance at low speeds, a PI-fuzzy resistance estimator is proposed to eliminate the error due to changes in stator resistance. High performance sensorless drive of the in-wheel motor based on MRAS with on line stator resistance tuning is established for four motorized wheels electric vehicle and the whole system is simulated by matalb/simulink. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the new control strategy. This proposed control strategy is extensively used in electric vehicle application.

  • This paper introduces the ship propulsion system in different aspects. In fact there are many types to accomplish electric propulsion. The latest installations are based on fixed generator speed and motor speed control. The AC motor drive systems with synchroconverter cycloconverter PWM converter are chosen for the ship electric propulsion. The configurations of the ship electric propulsion. The configurationso of the ship electric propulsion system must be considered about following criteria : torque and speed performances redundancy cost harmonics available space and shape. This paper introduces possible configurations of the ship electric propulsion and the major and minor points.

  • The Developing & Producing of Eco-Friendly vehicle have been more incremented, as People appreciate the importance of Earth Environment Conservation. The needs of Neighborhood Electric Vehicle(NEV) that suits Current people's short drive distance is incremented. In this Paper, we define Neighborhood Electric Vehicle through out National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of United States of America's regulation and explain motor and battery of primary constituents of that. We used MATLAB and ADVISOR 200 programs for Simulation, and propsed NEV's Model that tow people can be got in. In this Model, the battery is Lead-acid battery(72V, 85Ah) and the motor is 8kW permanent magnet synchronous motor(PM motor). We compared change of driving range of NEV through out non-changing speed Driving(10km/h, 20km/h, 30km/h, 40km/h) and Manhattan driving schedule.

Analysis of Off-Line and On-Line Partial Discharge in High Voltage Motor Stator Windings

  • The off-line and on-line partial discharge (PD) in the stator winding of three high-voltage (HV) motors (1,400 HP, 6.6 kV) is measured and analyzed in this paper. The off-line PD is measured at high values between 24,300 ~ 36,100 pC after 18 years of motor operation. Spare replacement motors were not available for testing the degree of deterioration of the stator windings in standstill status. Therefore, on-line periodic analysis was conducted to monitor the trend of PD after installing a ceramic sensor (110 pF, 6.6 kV) in the terminal box for each phase of each motor. In the stator winding of the No.1 and No.2 HV motors, which showed high magnitudes of off-line PD and low magnitudes of on-line PD, defects are expected to appear in the neutral end of the winding. On the contrary, in the stator windings of the No.3 HV motor, which exhibits high off-line and on-line PD magnitude, defects are expected to appear in the terminal end of the winding where a voltage close to the phase voltage is applied.

  • 전동스쿠터는 수명이 짧고 효율이 낮은 직류 모터를 사용하고 있으며, 모터를 제어하기 위한 시스템을 일률적으로 수입하여 장착하고 있어 제품의 차별화가 없고 다양한 특성을 갖는 장애인에 맞는 제품을 디자인 할 수 없는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 장애인용 전동스쿠터에 특화시켜 가격은 저렴하면서도 반영구적인 수명 그리고 고출력의 특징을 갖는 BLDC 모터 제어시스템을 개발하였다. 특히, 국내 외 업체에서 생산되고 있는 전동스쿠터와는 차별화된 고출력, 고효율 전동스쿠터 제어시스템를 개발함으로써 국내산 전동스쿠터의 기술대비 가격 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 관련 산업의 활성화에도 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

다중여자 유도전동기의 안정도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Stabilization of Multi-Excited Induction Motor)

  • This paper covers stability and stabilization of Multi-Excited Induction Motor used in numberous electric equipment system of industrial field. The induction motor with multi-excitation has tow sets of three-phase system : One is connected to the AC source to supply most power required at the load, and the other is to the inverter for variable frequency and/or magnitude of voltage. The conventional induction motor is operated under single excitation mode only, that is called induction mode. But in multi-excited induction motor both the induction mode and the synchronous mode are possible, and the proposed multi-excited induction motor can be driven as a synchronous motor by the extra three-phase input. At the synchronous mode the efficiency is improved so higher than that at induction mode or conventional induction motor. The rating of the inverter used for speed control of numberous electric equipment system can be reduced upto one-tenth of that for conventional induction motor. Also the cost and maintenance fee of multi-excited induction motor can be reduced compared to any other motor.
