The advent of e-Learning paradigm requires a various type of e-Learning models and systems which are appropriate to support effective teaching-learning process. Accordingly, the teaching-learning system using the Internet and the intelligent tutoring system(ITS) in e-Learning environment has attracted a fair amount of critical attention. However there is a wide gap between infrastructure of a present educational site and the u-learning environment. Therefore, in this paper, an ITS teaching-learning model is proposed and system is developed for a school environment, which is based on a learner's cognitive structure and applies a concept of u-Learning, and then is verified for validity. X-Neuronet, the developed system, offers a method of representing a learner's cognitive structure so as to apply the method for the efficient individualized learning.

With the development of the Information and Communication Technology(ICT), this society is changing rapidly to information based society. Also, the amount of new information and knowledge are increased quickly. Today, the traditional teaching-learning method based on teaching and learning of simple knowledge is not supported to problem solving any more. Because the learning and practice of ICT is affected not only personal growth but also the right to live. Due to this reason, it is important to teach and study using PBL(Problem Based Learning) in future. This paper proposes on-line based e-PBL which is combined e-learning with PBL. The e-PBL will be able to overcome the problem of traditional teaching-learnign method. Therefore, this paper developed the e-PBL teaching model for information literacy education of computer in elementary schools and inspected its effectiveness and validity. In addition, this paper built and utilized the e-PBL on-line learning support system including e-Mentoring which was defined as e-PAS system. It is effective for learners to improve the ability of self-leading, the accomplishment and satisfaction of studying.

Purpose - By designing a PEF(Personalized Education Feedback) system for real-time prediction of learning achievement and motivation through real-time EEG analysis of learners, this system provides some modules of a personalized adaptive learning system. By applying these modules to e-learning and offline learning, they motivate learners and improve the quality of learning progress and effective learning outcomes can be achieved for immersive self-directed learning Research design, data, and methodology - EEG data were collected simultaneously as the English test was given to the experimenters, and the correlation between the correct answer result and the EEG data was learned with a machine learning algorithm and the predictive model was evaluated.. Result - In model performance evaluation, both artificial neural networks(ANNs) and support vector machines(SVMs) showed high accuracy of more than 91%. Conclusion - This research provides some modules of personalized adaptive learning systems that can more efficiently complete by designing a PEF system for real-time learning achievement prediction and learning motivation through an adaptive learning system based on real-time EEG analysis of learners. The implication of this initial research is to verify hypothetical situations for the development of an adaptive learning system through EEG analysis-based learning achievement prediction.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the nursing student's e-Learning status. Method: The 48 nursing students were subject to this study. They were introduced to use 'understanding of ABGA' site. And the web log data was analysed. Result: General learning status in nursing education, difference of learning status in each learning type, and 'quiz' area learning status were analysed to see the nursing student's e-Learning status. The result of study showed that the participants didn't get learning that site designer had in mind to give them. Conclusion: It is important to figure out students' actual learning behaviors and reactions of feedbacks. Also, web log data could provide useful data that affect student's behaviors. Based on this study result, the following is suggested. The way to give them effective learning should be considered by the instructor who knows the unsincere type students through web log data.

This paper presents a set of controlled simulated statical and engineering mechanical experiments accessible via the virtual world environment (VWE) and virtual physics lab S/W. Online courses of the university offering courses and/or programs online are growing and the number of students want education in ways which fit their personal places, e-learning is becoming more important and ubiquitous each year. In this study, first of all, question is rather 'How do we execute the learning effectiveness of e-learning courses?' than 'Why does they need e-learnig or VW-learning?'. In particular, is it possible to effectively teach mechanical engineering courses online? The answer was 'No'. So, there is little research on many of these questions. And another important question is 'Is e-learning cost effective?'. For the answer, This research provided that an instructional design model is used to 'How to think and apply the Newtonian forces' in the virtual physics lab S/W. Collected data from student are administered in the spring semester when students studied 'Introduction to Bio-resources and Systems Engineering'. Results show that a cadre of students can take highly interactively physical properties of mechanical engineering in the virtual laboratory environment. Those show that VWE is greater than that of a similar real world presentation or experimental lab, since most of students are delighted to modify and retry modeling works in the VWE.

The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly affected the world, inflicting nationwide lockdowns interrupting conventional schooling through schools, colleges and universities. Educational institutions are struggling to maintain learning continuity through remote learning solutions. Still, the students' perception of this 'new normal' mode and pace of learning needs to be examined to ensure the success of these efforts. This study aimed at examining the perception of higher education students in India and Croatia especially with respect to the association between cultural orientation and the e-learning. The period considered for the data collection was from March 2020 to September 2020. Correspondence analysis was attempted to create spatial maps to depict the respondent choices. Students from both the regions agreed to the high-power distance that existed in their cultures and considered the role of device and content to be an important dimension of e-learning for it to be effective, but the results also pointed out some differences in their choices on other culture dimensions as well as factors affecting e-learning which make this study unique and suggest in-depth future research for conclusive results.

Purpose: This study was done to identify self-directed learning readiness, achievement goal orientations, learning satisfaction and learning achievement, and to evaluate the factors affecting learning achievement for nursing students using a web-based Health Assessment e-Book. Methods: The research design was a cross-sectional study with a structured questionnaire and data were collected before using the web-based Health Assessment e-Book and 1 week after finishing. The participants were 80 nursing students who were taking the Health Assessment class from March to June 2009. Results: Mean score for subjective learning achievement was 31.26 and for objective learning achievement, 69.25. Subjective and objective learning achievement were positively correlated with self-directed learning readiness, mastery goal, attitude toward distance education, and learning satisfaction. In subjective learning achievement, learning satisfaction and mastery goal were significant predictive factors and explained 64% of the variance. Objective learning achievement was significantly predicted by learning satisfaction and self-directed learning readiness, which explained 24% of the variance. Conclusion: Learning satisfaction, mastery goal and self-directed learning readiness were found to be very important factors associated with learning achievement for nursing students using a web-based Health Assessment e-Book. To provide high quality and effective web-based courses and to improve nursing students' learning achievement and learning satisfaction, educators should consider the learner's characteristics from the initial stages of lecture planning.

In the process of development the e-learning course at Cyber University, one important factor to be considered for the effective e-learning contents is the User Interface(UI) of the e-Learning content platform. The User Interface is important because the well-designed UI can help students to perform effectively and easily learning activities. Despite the importance of the usability, few attempts have been carried out to design the e-learning contents UI from the usability perspectives. Thus, the purpose of this study is to explore the usability design elements for the e-learning contents UI. For this purpose, a usability evaluation study on the e-learning contents UI of a cyber university at Seoul was conducted. Implications for the improvement of the current e-Learning contents UI was presented.

This study was conducted to investigate the factors affecting satisfaction and dissatisfaction of e-learning learner students using Kano model and Timko's customer satisfaction coefficient. The results of the analysis showed that firstly, the students are highly satisfied when it is convenient to learn visually and audibly, when the students can ask questions at any time, and when the professor was interested in the students. Second, the rational criteria and accurate evaluation of grades and assignments were confirmed as factors that should be satisfied. Third, unlike the results of the basic study that the students use e-learning due to the convenience of learning time and learning space and the ease of learning process, it is no longer an attractive factor to use e-learning. The results of this study suggest that it is possible to present effective directions for the development of e-learning education and strategic application of each factor classified by the two-dimensional recognition method.

Objectives: This research has been conducted in order to conduct sex education using E-Learning which is currently taught to students of women's high school. 138 students at women's high school in Inchon were applied, and then they were divided two different groups: a comparison group of 69 students, a control group of 69 students. Method: A questionnaire used by the literature studies. After verifying content validity, it was modified and supplemented in this way: sex knowledge was 23, and sex attitude 25. Results: 1) Comparison group will show increased marks on sex knowledge after the education than before whereas those from control group. 2) Comparison group will show increased marks on sex attitude after the education than before whereas those from control group. Conclusion: From the results of this research, it can be said that the sex education using E-Learning was the most effective method in improving the sex knowledge and attitude of students at women's high school. Therefore, it is advisable that the sex education methods using E-Learning should be developed and applied continuously.
