The objective of this study was to understand factors of occupational ethics affecting occupational value and educational belief of preservice childcare teachers. In order to achieve this objective, a questionnaire survey was conducted targeting a total of 270 preservice childcare teachers in A city. Study results found that preservice childcare teachers highly perceived the ethics in young children and family out of the occupational ethics, the intrinsic value out of the occupational value, and the maturism and interactionism out of the educational belief. Second, the occupational ethics, occupational value, and educational belief of preservice childcare teachers showed statistically significant correlations. Third, the occupational ethics of preservice childcare teachers had positive effects on the occupational value and educational beliefs. Based on these results, it is necessary to conduct diverse research studies for the formation of clear and appropriate occupational values and positive educational beliefs, so that childcare providers could perceive the importance of occupational ethics and provide high-quality childcare services.

The founding purpose of Business Incubation System is to induce those businessmen who have technology and promising business ideas but are lacking fund, information, and management skill, and to speed up their business establishment and enhance the level of success by providing them with managerial knowledge, production technology, design, and equipment. While some universities made Business Incubation Center to achieve the above purpose, some other universities, especially the local ones, believed that Business Incubation Center, if managed successfully, could be an accelerator picking up the sluggish local economies. This study studied the motivators that let them move in an Incubating Center, their request for support, their level of expert utilization, and the role of head of a Center. This study found a significant level of correlation among the variables such as industrial-educational cooperation, the development of common items, utilization of professors with matching majors, utilization of research professors, and transfer of technology.

This study was carried out to identify the perceived educational needs of diabetes mellitus type 2(DM 2) patients and the factors influencing their diabetes educational needs. The descriptive and correlation study design was used. The data was collected from January 2, 2012 to February 29 10, 2012 and a total of 346 diabetes patients responded in a structured instrument regarding their characteristics, diabetes knowledge and needs for diabetes education. The data was analyzed using ANOVA, t-test, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The mean score of the diabetes educational needs was 3.03 (range: 1.09-4.00). Of the factors significantly influencing the diabetes educational needs, age (${\beta}$=-.25, p<.001), diabetes education participation of the family (${\beta}$=.21, p=.003), and self blood sugar test (${\beta}$=-.13, p=.045) explained the 11% variance of the diabetes educational needs. These three factors need to be considered when implementing diabetes education programs for diabetes management.

This study focuses the architectural planning solution and guiding principle for English only classroom spatial layout and operation program to establish English educational environment proper to English curriculum contents and methodology by the grade level of elementary school. To accomplish this purpose of the study, this study proceeds as follows. First, the English facility condition such as type of classroom, retainment and floor space were researched and analyzed through the nationwide survey for elementary schools to understand English educational environment. Second, the study analyzes English educational procedures, contents and methodology and most typical educational scenes, facilities and equipments are extracted through the analysis. Finally, the study pursues the spatial layout factors and proposes the architectural planning principle for English only classroom to provide English educational environment per its size and type.

This study desires to examine the factors of educational beliefs and child-care commitment of preservice child-care teachers affecting teacher efficacy. To achieve such study purpose, a questionnaire was used targeting 239 preservice child-care teachers in I City. For response results, first, preservice child-care teachers appreciated a belief for maturity in educational beliefs, educational love in child-care commitment, and teaching strategy and students' participation in teacher efficacy the most. Second, there is a statistically meaningful correlation in educational beliefs, child-care commitment, and teacher efficacy of preservice child-care teachers. Third, educational beliefs and child-care commitment of preservice child-care teachers have a positive effect on teacher efficacy. Through such study results, it is thought that role and importance of child-care teachers are appreciated, and various studies should be proceeded to ensure internal stability for professionalism awareness of child-care teachers for improvement of fine child-care service.

This study was conducted by implementing a structural analysis regarding adult learners' learning outcomes and their affecting factors in the lifelong educational institutions in Daejeon area with 960 adult learners. Research result was as following. First, learner and educational characteristics were confirmed to have an indirect impact on learning outcomes, which were mediated by learning satisfaction and commitment. Second, adult learner's characteristics directly influenced to learning commitment and satisfaction as well as educational institutions did. Third, learning commitment also directly affected learning satisfaction and outcomes. Fourth, learning satisfaction had a strong influence on learning outcomes. By all accounts, learning outcomes was directly influenced by learner, educational characteristics, and learning satisfaction. In addition, learning outcomes was indirectly impacted by mediating with learning satisfaction and commitment. Therefore, lifelong educational institutions should reinforce any strategies in order to enhance learning outcomes such as developing and providing more variable programs, making better class atmosphere and facility, positioning highly qualified teachers, and one-stop administration services.

This study was aimed to investigate disaster preparedness, core competencies and educational needs on disaster nursing of nursing students and to provide basic data needed for development of disaster nursing educational program. 254 nursing students enrolled in 3 college of nursing in D-city completed questionnaires. The data were collected from November 1, 2014 to November 30, 2014. The average level of core competencies on disaster nursing was 2.76 out of 5 points, which was moderate for the core competencies on disaster nursing. Disaster preparedness was 2.14 out of 5 points, suggesting that they are generally not well prepared for disaster. Factors affecting core competencies on disaster nursing were disaster preparedness, educational needs, grade, and experience of disaster education. It is necessary to develop disaster nursing educational program to reflect the needs of the field in Korea. And Nurse educator needs to develop strategies to prepare their students for disasters. Further research is needed to adequately address this issue.

In industries such as automobiles and semiconductors, a lot of components are produced using PLCs based on an automatic production system. Therefore, an educational platform is needed to provide training in the use of PLCs in the industrial sites. Conventional educational systems, in which PLCs are employed to control sensors and actuators, have been continuously developed. However, these systems present their circuits only in 2D on the screen, which makes it difficult to understand them during the learning process. To overcome these disadvantages, we propose an educational V-Factory system capable of providing PLC training using virtual reality. In addition, thousands of sensors and actuators can be controlled by the V-Factory system through the proposed virtual I/O driver. The motion of the automatic production system can be visualized using virtual reality.

Recently, retrieval of various video data has become an important issue as more and more multimedia content services are being provided. To effectively deal with video data, a semantic-based retrieval scheme that allows for processing diverse user queries and saving them on the database is required. In this regard, this paper proposes a semantic-based video retrieval system that allows the user to search diverse meanings of video data for electrical safety-related educational purposes by means of automatic annotation processing. If the user inputs a keyword to search video data for electrical safety-related educational purposes, the mobile agent of the proposed system extracts the features of the video data that are afterwards learned in a continuous manner, and detailed information on electrical safety education is saved on the database. The proposed system is designed to enhance video data retrieval efficiency for electrical safety-related educational purposes.

This study examined the effects of Cyber University students' educational participatory motivation and life satisfaction on their satisfaction with their major. The subjects were 937 adult learners at one of the Cyber Universities in Seoul, Korea, who were over 20 years of age. The results were as follows. First, the main motivation of the Cyber University students was goal-oriented, followed by learning-oriented motivation and activity-oriented motivation. Second, there were significant differences in their educational participatory motivation, life satisfaction and major satisfaction according to their sex, age, occupation, marriage and major. Third, their life satisfaction and three types of educational participatory motivation had positive effects on the satisfaction with their major in the order of life satisfaction, goal-oriented motivation, learning-oriented motivation and activity-oriented motivation. These findings suggest that adult learners' quality of life and motivation to learn are very important for increasing the degree of satisfaction with their major.
