A common geoboard puzzel serves as the point of departure for an investigation that lends itself to whole-group discussion with a class of prospective secondary school teachers. Students are provided with opportunities to devise and carry out problem-solving strategies (called 'heuristics' by Polya); exploit inerrelationships among geometry, arithmetic and algebra; formulate generalizations and conjectures; plan and execute an computational project; construct mathematical arguments to establish theorems; and find counter-examples to dispose of a false conjecture. The study figures out the alternatives of training BIM design experts which is the biggest obstacle in training manpower of professional BIM designer, the largest problem when the plant introduce BIM design about the change in Construction Environment by Equipment Based BIM Design in reality of design followed by equipment based BIM design, education institution plan. BIM is the system which is built to make these information be used easier and technique which enables design construction and maintenance in 3-dimensional virtual space by designing buildings in 3-dimensional space, and by data-basing the generated information of every life-cycle information. As the essential contents of the study, educational institutions with the public authority should invest the opening of educational programs, recruit of experts and development of textbooks from a long-term perspective. And also, the role of public institution is important above all for the development of construction industry.

The purpose of this study is to propose different construction costs based on the number of kindergarten classrooms. Literature review reorganized the space program for kindergartens. For suggesting the room sizes of each spaces, this paper collected the three types of analysis; 1) the previous researches, 2) field survey, and 3) construction drawings. Based on the results, building sizes for the individual class sizes were presented. And, this paper made a standard priced BOQ(Bill of Quantity) through analysis on the existing priced BOQ. Finally, the recommendable construction costs were proposed by applying the building sizes to the standard priced BOQ. The practitioners of school districts and government organizations can make appropriate budgets considering the building sizes.

It presented the specialty and efficient evaluation indicator and a method which corresponds in each quality classified with 4 fields - an use and the function, the environment and an equipment, the structure stability, an main finishing material from plan side against an existing school facility in order to suit in development of the standard indicator which has become fixed quantity and demand of evaluation method for an analysis of the object school facilities to rebuild. So it presented the method which is the fixed quantity evaluation from economic viewpoint as possible for evaluating the maintenance cost by the expenses involved and durable years increase in rebuilding of objective school facility.

The purpose of this study is an overall valuation about propriety study of school facilities BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease) by means of AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). The search point includes these questions. Is BTL of school facilities a reasonable project for school, or is the former government financial project on the position of comparative superiority? And, is a partial BTL possible as an alternative plan? The result of this study shows that preference rate about BTL is 39%, that of former government financial project is 32%, and that of partial BTL is 29%.

School design in the future will be more important on exterior space plan. However, there is no specific definition or boundary regarding exterior space, and related regulations and guides define the essential factors only. The purpose of this study is to have a guideline for the concept of exterior space in elementary school buildings, and deducted strong and weak points by evaluating exterior space based on each business methods. A result of this study can be suggest what improvements should be made on exterior space design of elementary school buildings by comparative analysis of positive and weak points for each evaluation factors.

Decimal fractions are the practical system of notations representing real numbers. The set of decimal fractions with the definition of comparison of decimal fractions and the identification of their double representations is essentially the field of real numbers. Therefore, we have to clarify the concept of decimal fractions. However, there are problematics that the aquisition of the concept of decimal fractions is not easy. In this paper, we attempt to eradicate the problematics relevant to the acquisition of decimal fractions discussed above and find the desirable direction of instruction of meaning for mathematical symbols: The case of decimal fractions. In J. Hiebert & decimal fractions. First of all, we clarify the essence of them - ratio, operator and linearity. And we compare and analyse the theories about decimal fractions of Resnick, Drexel, Brousseau and Hiebert and the contents of texts about decimal fractions in Korea. Finally, we suggest the efficient instruction methods which are faithful to the essence of decimal fractions and choose some methods among them to plan the classroom instruction and implement the methods in the classroom.

In modern society, the role of university becomes diversified and the concerns on building construction or landscape architecture considering beautiful landscape and scene are increasing caused by increasing interest on external environment of campus. But relative importance of concerns for the context of landscape architecture in campus is neglected rather than other facilities. So the landscape architecture service could not be conducted well. Therefore the computerization of system or management program will be needed for effective landscape architecture tree management and sufficiency of concerns on continuously increasing landscape architecture in campus. The computerization of landscape architecture tree management will be important roles not only to raise the efficiency of landscape architecture management and the view of outdoor environment but also to increase the competitive power of rapidly changing university environment and the quality of education.

Modern industry requires people with the ability to create and improve their knowledge. Most educational institutions have used mentoring activities which can train those people. Then each of the institutions has different directions because they work in their own fields. For that reason, many people which want to make new mentoring program have no choice but to go through many trials and errors. This paper deals with the design method of basic process model for mentoring based on DEVS in order that people plan a new mentoring business or make a new mentoring group easily. Our proposed model is expected to be used as a guide to establish procedures for mentoring systems.

This study investigates possible of linkage between kindergarten infants and the lower level elementary school students so aims to take a triangular position which direction of architectural space plan. The results of the study are as follows: 1) The results of analysis which infants and lower level elementary school students' behavior and activity showed similar play patterns in space attitude, rule of space use, similar to satisfaction and kinds of play, the time required, groups scale and place of play. 2) Architectures of kindergarten and lower level elementary school can classify style of selfhelp-singleness, establishment as an annex-singleness, establishment as an annex-attachment and divides space of education, management, service and analogized kinds of necessary space. 3) Infants of four, five years old and six, seven years old(first, second elementary school students) are similar to physical, intellectual, emotional development and have special characters of successions so kindergarten and lower level elementary school buildings must be necessary for organic linkage and intergration.
