주제 중심의 초등학교 수학교과서 모형 연구 (A Study on the Development of Elementary Mathematics Textbooks as a Thematic Approach)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 주제 중심의 수학교과서를 개발하고 효과성을 검증하여 차후 수학교과서 개발에 유의미한 대안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 다학문적(multi-disciplinary), 간학문적(inter-disciplinary), 탈학문적(extra-disciplinary) 융합의 형태로, '건강한 삶', '지속가능한 삶', '더불어 사는 삶'이라는 주제 중심의 수학교과서를 개발하였고, 그 효과성을 검증하기 위해 각 주제별 2개 반, 총 6반을 대상으로 수업을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, '건강한 삶', '지속가능한 삶' 주제는 사전검사에 비해 사후검사의 성취도 평균이 높았으나 '더불어 사는 삶' 주제는 사전검사에 비해 사후검사의 성취도 평균이 낮았다. 반면 주제 중심 문항 점수의 경우, '건강한 삶', '지속가능한 삶'에서는 실험반의 점수가 비교반의 점수보다 통계적으로 유의미하게 높았으나 '더불어 사는 삶'에서는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 수학 태도 검사 결과는 세 주제에서 사전, 사후 모두 실험반의 평균이 비교반보다 높았다. 그리고 주제 중심의 초등학교 수학교과서를 정규교육과정에 포함시키려는 노력, 교사를 위한 자료의 제공, 융통성 있는 사용 등을 위한 연구가 지속해야 함을 제안하였다.

증명학습에서 생성-수렴 수업 모형의 개발과 적용 (Development and Applications of Mathematical Proof Learning-Teaching Methods: the Generative-Convergent Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 중학생들이 증명학습을 할 때 범하는 수학적 오류를 교수학적으로 처방할 뿐만 아니라 올바른 증명의 역할과 본질을 이해하여 증명과정을 스스로 구성할 수 있도록, '생성-수렴 모형에 의한 증명학습'이라는 증명 학습-지도 방법을 제시하였다. 이 수업모형을 8학년 학생 160명을 대상으로 10주 동안 40시간에 걸쳐 여러 가지 사각형의 성질과 관계를 학습할 때 적용하여 학생들의 증명능력 향상과 오류 교정에 미치는 효과 및 학생들의 정당화 유형 양상으로 세분화하여 그 결과를 살펴보았다. 첫째, 생성-수렴 모형에 의한 증명학습을 실시한 실험집단의 학생들은 통제집단의 학생들보다 증명능력 검사에서 평균점수는 높았다. 그러나 유의수준 .01에서 통계적 검정을 실시한 결과, 두 집단 간의 증명능력은 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 학생들은 논증기하 영역에서 증명을 할 때 범하는 오류 교정율에 있어서 생성-수렴 모형에 의한 증명학습을 한 학생들의 오류 교정율이 통제집단보다 더 큰폭으로 감소하였다. 셋째, 학생들의 정당화 유형은 실험집단과 통제집단 모두 경험적 정당화에서 분석적 정당화로의 이행을 보였으나, 생성-수렴 모형에 의한 증명학습을 한 학생들이 통제집단의 학생들보다 분석적 정당화를 구성하는 학생들이 현저하게 증가하였다.

일개 농촌지역 초등학교 교사와 초등학교 6학년 학생의 양성평등의식 (Gender Equality Consciousness among Elementary School Teachers and the 6th Graders at a rural area in Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this preliminary study was to investigate gender equality consciousness among elementary school teachers and the 6th graders at 3 rural area in Korea. Methods: There were 78 teachers and 323 6th graders from five elementary schools in Y area in Jeonnam province. The data was collected with 3 structured self-reported questionnaire from June to July 2003. The instrument, which was developed by Korean Women Development Institute to test gender equality consciousness, was composed of 20-items (Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ = .87 in teachr group; Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ = .83 in children group) with four subcategories: family life, school life, business life, and social life. The data was analyzed by a one-way ANOVA and t-test using SPSS/PC+. Results: 1. Teachers' gender equality consciousness: The teachers' gender equality consciousness was significantly more affirmative in females (t = 5.313, p = .001) and in the younger teacher group (F = 24.710, p = .001). On the other hand, there was no significant difference according to marital status. The differences in all four subcategories were also significantly affirmative in the female and younger teacher group. 2. Students' gender equality consciousness: The gender equality consciousness among the 6th graders was somewhat different from the teachers'. School girls (t = 8.988, p = .001) and children from double income families (t = 3.171, p = .042) were more affirmative in gender equality consciousness than the other groups. In the four sub-categories, school girls were also significantly more affirmative in all four subcategories. On the other hand, according to the family income source, the children from double income families also tended to be more affirmative only in the subcategory of family life (t = 3.196, p = .042) Conclusions: Gender equality consciousness is remarkably different according to gender both in Korean elementary school teachers and in school children. Age was a key variable in teachers for gender equality consciousness. Further research in gender equality consciousness of parents, school principals and urban school population would be useful. In order to promote gender equality consciousness, various educational materials and a mass education campaign should be developed.

수학과 7-가 교과서 단원도입 활동의 내용소재 변화 및 활용실태 조사 연구 -제 6차와 7차 교과서를 중심으로- (A survey on the topic introductory materials of the 7th grade mathematics textbooks and its usages - Centered on the 6th and 7th curriculum based textbooks -)

  • When a curriculum change is being an issue, the editorships and the promotive directions reflect to supplement the social requests. However it is often criticized that such changes in the textbook itself are not satisfactory enough as to coherent to the editoships. And we set the following research questions; (1) One of the most important changes in the new 7th curriculum is to encourage the students' activities. We checked if it is well suited in the new textbooks. (2) Often textbook itself is not important In class, while instructor or students want something else other than the one suggested in the textbook. We asked 187 teachers how they use the textbooks in class. To answer (1), we checked up the introductory - activity - contents with 7 categories, which are ${\circled1}$ of real life sources ${\circled2}$ in use of concrete manipulative ${\circled3}$ in use of computers or calculators ${\circled4}$ in use of historical resources ${\circled5}$ stimulating to recall a relevant previous knowledges ${\circled6}$ of coherence between the activity and the exploratory contexts. ${\circled2}$ were increased, rewarding to the decrease of ${\circled5}$, in the new textbooks, while changes in ${\circled3}$ and ${\circled4}$ were not enough to talk about increments. Especially slight decrease in ${\circled6}$ were detected and it seemed to attribute to the unmatchable use of ${\circled1}$ and ${\circled2}$ with the explanation of mathematical subjects, which also implies how difficult to match ${\circled1}$ and ${\circled2}$ with ${\circled6}$. Analyzing the reponses of (2), about 70% of the teachers used the introductory activities in the textbook, which led better attention of sudents, while 30% of teachers do not use it because they felt that its inroductory activities had not been adequate for their purposes. Teachers counted inadequacy reasons for not being helpful in class, lack of time or lack of support of students, etc. Those teachers use introductory activities invented of their own for classes. As some results of the study, we suggest firstly that authors of textbooks have to get more informations to provide ways to entcourage students' interest in mathematics classes. The ways must be practical and brain storming as well as More use of computers and calculators and mathematical history are expected. Secondly, we are emphasizing the feedbacks between the textbook authors and the users(teachers and students) through internet. Which, we anticipate, will get better communications between them and be a good foundations of continuous modifications of textbooks.

성인과 노인에서 외상성 급성 경막하 혈종의 예후 비교에 대한 융합적 연구: 후향적 조사 연구 (Convergence study of Comparison of prognosis between Adult and Elderly patients with Traumatic Acute Subdural Hematoma: Retrospective survey research)

  • 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 성인과 노인의 외상성 급성 경막하 혈종 예후를 비교하여 연령에 따른 적절한 간호를 제공하는 것이다. 방법: 광주광역시 C대학병원에서 239명 환자(성인 104, 노인 135)를 가지고 후향적 의무기록조사연구를 수행하였다. 데이터 분석에는 χ2 test, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA를 이용하였다. 결과: 성인군과 노인군간에 퇴원 시 GCS (t=-0.03, p=.978)와 퇴원 시 GOS (t=0.17, p=.863)는 차이가 없었지만 성별(χ2=4.19, p=.041), 과거력(χ2=20.78, p<.001), 음주력(χ2=20.12, p<.001), 입원 시 GCS(t=-2.22, p=.028), 입원 시 동공반사(t=8.04, p=.005), pH(t=-3.30, p=.001), 혈청 혈당(t=-0.85, p=.040), 합병증(χ2 =6.450, p=.011)에서는 차이가 있었다. 결론: 외상성 경막하 혈종이 있는 환자를 간호할 때 연령에 따른 임상적 특성을 고려한 환자 사정과 간호제공을 할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 추후 연구는 의료진을 위한 교육자료 개발이 필요하다.

웹을 이용한 효과적인 과학학습체제의 구축 및 태도 변화 -중학교 지구과학 내용을 중심으로 - (Construction of the Scientific Effective Learning System on Web-Based Instruction)

  • 오늘날 인터넷의 일상적인 사용은 웹의 발달을 가져온 것으로 인식되고 있다. 학습도구로서 웹을 사용한 것을 WBI라 한다. WBI의 구축은 교육 현장에 현재 많은 영향을 미치고 있다. 그러나 사이버 공간에서 수많은 WBI 프로그램을 사용할 때 학습자들에 많은 문제점들이 도출되고 있다. 거의 모든 프로그램 사용 시 교사와 학생간의 상호 작용이 충분하지 못하며 필요한 학습자료들을 찾을 때 그들 자료들이 충분하게 마련되어 있지 않다. 학습 현장에서 교사들이 WBI 프로그램을 고안하고 구축하는 것은 매우 어려운 일이다. 그러나 상호 작용하는 WBI 프로그램의 고안과 구축은 그보다는 쉬운 일이다. 그러므로 만약 학생들과 친근한 교사들이 웹 페이지를, 만들어 사이버 공간에 제공한다면, 학생들은 쉽게 사이버 공간에서 접속할 수 있을 것이다. 그들은 e-메일, 여론 광장 또는 채팅을 사용할 수 있을 것이다. 사이버 공간은 학교 생활에서 불충분한 상호관계를 마련하게 될 것이다. 그러나, 이 프로그램은 모든 학생들이 필요한 적절한 장치들을 가지고 있어야 때문에, 이를 마련하지 못하는 학습자에게는 또 다른 형태의 포기를 가져오게 될 것이다. 이렇기 때문에 이 문제는 정부가 이러한 모든 필요한 장치들을 값싸게 보급하고 적절한 프로그램들을 공급할 때 풀릴 수 있다고 사료된다.

한국 성인의 대사증후군 예방을 위한 건강한식 교육프로그램 개발 (Development of healthy Han-sik nutrition education program featuring consumption of Korean foods for prevention of metabolic syndrome in Korean adults)

  • Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of metabolic risk factors associated with increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. Recently, the prevalence of metabolic syndrome has increased in Korea. The aim of this study was to develop a Healthy Han-sik Nutrition Education Program (HHNEP) based on commonly recognized Korean foods in order to decrease metabolic syndrome risks. The target population of the HHNEP is adults with metabolic risk factors. The initial version of the HHNEP was developed based on a review of literature and various dietary guidelines by expert committees as well as the results of a survey on the perception of common Korean dishes and foods as Han-sik. The focus group discussion conducted of nine participants from the target population. After minor modification, the final version was developed. The contents included five sections: 1) aims, 2) introduction of Korean Food Guidance System, 3) cholesterol contents in food, 4) menu planning method using Han-sik, and 5) examples of daily Han-sik menu. The Han-sik list was selected based on the results from a Han-sik perception answered by 35 Korean adults aged 30-60 years using 517 frequently consumed Korean foods from the fourth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. The nutrition education program was developed based on scientific evidence for the prevention of metabolic syndrome and focuses on tailoring education to an individual's dietary problems. Educational method was developed by a group of expert committees based in planned behavior theory and related research results. The education method consisted of assessment of current diet, four face-to-face nutrition education sessions over 8 weeks, and evaluation after 8 and 16 weeks. Initial version of nutrition education materials and methods was tested for feasibility by a select group of nine Korean healthy adults. Successful implementation of the program would include application by nutritional professionals at the health promotion center of the hospitals, public health center, and work sites. Intervention studies are needed to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of this program before large-scale applications.

Development of tailored nutrition information messages based on the transtheoretical model for smartphone application of an obesity prevention and management program for elementary-school students

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Easy access to intervention and support for certain behaviors is important for obesity prevention and management. The available technology such as smartphone applications can be used for intervention regarding healthy food choices for obesity prevention and management in elementary-school students. The transtheoretical model (TTM) is comprised of stages and processes of change and can be adopted to tailored education for behavioral change. This study aims to develop TTM-based nutrition contents for mobile applications intended to change eating behaviors related to weight gain in young children. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A synthesized algorithm for tailored nutrition messages was developed according to the intake status of six food groups (vegetables, fruits, sugar-sweetened beverages, fast food and instant food, snacks, and late-night snacks), decision to make dietary behavioral changes, and self-confidence in dietary behavioral changes. The messages in this study were developed from December 2014 to April 2015. After the validity evaluation of the contents through expert consultation, tailored nutrition information messages and educational contents were developed based on the TTM. RESULTS: Based on the TTM, stages of subjects are determined by their current intake status, decision to make dietary behavioral changes, and self-confidence in dietary behavioral changes. Three versions of tailored nutrition messages at each TTM stage were developed so as to not send the same messages for three weeks at most, and visual materials such as figures and tables were developed to provide additional nutritional information. Finally, 3,276 tailored nutrition messages and 60 nutrition contents for applications were developed. CONCLUSIONS: Smartphone applications may be an innovative medium to deliver interventions for eating behavior changes directly to individuals with favorable cost-effectiveness. In addition, using the TTM for tailored nutrition education for healthy eating is an effective approach.

경북지역 현대화 원예시설의 관리실태 조사분석 (Analysis of Research for the Actual State and Management of Automated Horticultural Facilities)

  • This study was carried out in order to understand the plan, design, constructing and actual condition of management of modernized horticultural facilities in Kyungpook Province which had been constructed from 1992 to 1995 funded by Government support. The aim of this study is to provide reference data for success of the forth project. It was performed by making up a question about driving of project and management condition of equipment after constructing. The results obtained from this study are as follows: 1. 73.5% of facilities horticulture farmhouse recognized that the prospect of greenhouse is bright, but 92.5% of the farmhouse also recognised that they need technical consultation on protected horticulture farming. Therefore, technical educations would must be enhanced about foundation of greenhouse and cultivation technique. 2. The holding times of explanatory meetings, cause of understanding to farmhouse, were one or two times in greenhouse construction, and 62.5% of the farmhouse expressed the insufficiency at the explanation and educational data. For this reason, it was judged that the construction contract had been delayed more than 5 months in 49.3% of the farmhouse after the decision of project budget. 3. In constructing after a contract, the rates of construction delay is 53.4% and defect occurrence is 41.1%. The biggest reasons of construction delay was insufficiency of worker and materials supply. Each percentage is 29.1%. And the reason of defect occurrence is badness of machinery equipment(62.9% ). 4. In management of greenhouse, a pipe-constructed plastic film greenhouse changes plastic film every one and three years because of sticking dust on plastic film. It was needed to about in cleaning technique of coverings. Because that used 3-5 years only half of the expected life span. 5. The order of broken rating in the subsidiary equipment is like this lollop ventilator (42.8%), a general control system(33.3%) especially, in the case of a general control system, the rate of all family can control is 52.7%. so, it is time to develop easy control equipment which every one could use as soon as possible. 6. When choose heat generator as decide capacity, the most priority is the mount of heat generator the percent is 45.5% heat generator and as decide model, the private purchase's percent is 77.3%. It is higher than a public bidding heat generator the percent is 22.7% heat generator when it compare with a public bidding. In the case of $CO_2$ generator, using rate is only 19.0%. The using rate is very low, so it needs education how to use depends on the way of the subsidiary equipment. 7. In the case of seedlings, it is asked to use factory-processed seedling effectively. because it's difficult to get security of labors(58.8%), hoped crops (55.9%) access same crops(29.4%) much more and changing of crops depends on market situation. that is the main reason the lack of knowhow.

영상의학과 내원 환자의 방사선피폭 인지도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Perception by Examines of the Radiology Department about Exposure to Radioactivity)

  • 본 연구는 영상의학과 내원 환자를 대상으로 진단용 방사선 검사 시 방사선피폭 인식에 대한 관련요인을 분석하여 방사선피폭 인식의 변화를 위한 교육 자료를 만드는데 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 시도하였다. 방사선 장치 중 가장 방사선 피폭을 가장 많이 받는 검사에 대해서는 전체 65.5%로 CT가 가장 높았으며, 방사선 검사 시 피폭에 가장 민감한 부위에 대해서는 생식선 56.1% 가장 많았고, 방사선에 대한 정보 파악은 전체 26.3%가 TV나 신문을 통해 습득하는 것이 가장 많았다. 방사선 인식도, 방사선 유해성, 방사선 검사 시 심리상태, 방사선 피폭방지, 방사선 필요성에 대해서는 성 별간 남자가 더 높게 나타났으며, 통계학적으로는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구를 통해서 환자들로 하여금 방사선피폭에 대하여 올바르게 인식을 할 수 있도록 교육프로그램의 개발이 시급하며, 방사선사들에게는 환자의 피폭선량을 경감을 위한 세심한 배려가 필요하다고 하겠다. 또한 환자들은 방사선에 대해서 올바르게 인식하는 것이 촬영 시 불안감과 방사선피폭을 줄일 수 있을 것이다.
