This study investigates the impact of educational management on the performance of scholars in the field of nano/micro-level composites. The objective is to understand how effective management strategies can enhance the academic achievements and research outcomes of students specializing in this advanced area of materials science. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, data was collected from various educational institutions renowned for their programs in nano/micro-level composites. Our results indicate that tailored educational management practices significantly improve student performance. Key strategies identified include personalized mentorship programs, interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities, and access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. Institutions that implemented these practices observed a marked increase in the quality and quantity of research outputs, higher student satisfaction rates, and improved post-graduation employment prospects in relevant industries. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of continuous professional development for educators to stay abreast of the latest advancements in nano/micro-level composites. By fostering an environment of innovation and support, educational management can play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of researchers and professionals in this cutting-edge field. The main objective of this research is to develop an experimental educational facility management information system that will be used for maintaining existing educational facilities in the elementary, junior high, and high schools. The development is based on the nationwide development plan of the education administration information system. The system developed is accomplished by use of Map-application Information System(MAPIS), an applied commercial software that combines Geographic Information System(GIS) with existing Information and Communication Technologies(ICT) such as Database system, Multimedia methodology, and Internet system. In order to figure out the features to be improved in the system developed, the research interviewed the educational facilities management in the Ministry of Education and P Local Education Authority. The authors suggest the functional improvement of the system based on the interview results.

At this point of time that it is required to improve educational environment and the function of educational facilities as well as interests on educational facility business is increasing, it is actual situation that unsystematic maintenance of educational facility is not being able to cope with the change caused by introducing the 7th curriculum. Also, in spite of enormous career in maintenance work, the function is not properly performed because of unsystematic management. In case of educational facility manager, he parallels performing general administrative work and facilities maintenance work not as a maintenance expert but as a member of administration office. So there are difficulties in performing maintenance work, and systematic maintenance work cannot be expected because of lacking maintenance manual. Therefore, in this research, I would like to investigate and analyze the status of educational facilities and to elicit the point of issue as a basic research to save maintenance expenses and to make pleasant educational environment.

Purpose: Chronic hepatic disease is caused by inappropriate management of the hepatitis B virus. In Korea. there is an increasing number of chronic hepatic patients. who are at risk of dying from liver failure or hepatocellular carcinoma. Therefore it is important to manage the hepatitis B virus appropriately. Method: The patients diagnosed with chronic hepatic disease or HBV carrier who registered at a community health center or hospital were assessed regarding health man agement status and educational needs. The data was collected from 179 persons by convenient sampling between May, 2000 and April. 2001. The data were was analyzed for general characteristics using the descriptive method, factors influencing educational needs and health management using t-test and ANOVA. Results: 1. The average health management score was 18.2 from 12 to 24 range. Those who unknown were unaware of the presence of HBsAg, attending the educational program and keeping undergoing treatment at the community health center or hospital were had a higher management score(p< .05). 2. The educational needs regarding nutritional management(64.8%) was the highest topic with chronic hepatitis patients. The second highest topic was spreading prevention among family members (52.0%), and keeping medication (45.8%), the degree of physical activities(44.1%), and spreading prevention in public(39.1%). Those who were unaware of the presence of HBsAg (p< .001), less than 12 months after HBsAg (+)(p< .05), keeping treatment (p< .05) were higher educational needs. 3. The use of alternative therapy was 27.9% of subjects. The subjects thought it was helpful for disease management(42.1%), mostly, family members and relatives recommended to use (57.9%), and medical regimen was ignored during the alternative therapy. Conclusion: Based on the results, an educational program about prevention of type B hepatitis and management for patients having type B hepatitis should be developed.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs and demands of middle-aged women concerning the educational contents of tea-culture, the managing methods of educational programs, and a plan to invigorate tea culture education as a whole. Here is the summary of the main results. 1) The need for tea-culture education scored an average of 4.14 / 5(maximum score). The actual needs for tea-culture education had varied according to the women's place of living, educational motives, and the desire to become lecturers in the future. That is, the actual needs for tea-culture education scored high among the groups who displayed strong personal motives to cultivate their inner minds and learn tea-culture seriously, groups who lived in Seoul${\cdot}$Taegu${\cdot}$Cheonju, and groups who wanted to become future lecturers. 2) The need for a systematic management of tea-culture educational programs scored an average of 4.10 / 5(maximum score). The need for a management of tea-culture educational programs varied according to the women's educational level and their desire to become future lecturers. That is, the need for a systematic management of tea-culture educational programs scored high among groups whose educational level was high, and groups who wanted to become future lecturers. 3) The need for a plan to invigorate tea-culture education scored an average of 4.05 / 5(maximum score). The need for a plan to invigorate tea-culture education varied according to the women's place of living, educational level, the managing subject of educational organizations, the desire to become future lecturers. That is, the need for a plan to invigorate tea-culture education scored high among the groups who lived in Seoul${\cdot}$Taegu${\cdot}$Cheonju, groups whose educational level was high, groups who were members of life-long educational facilities within universities, and groups who desired to become future lecturers.
Purpose: This study was a predicative survey to provide home care clients with indwelling urinary catheters for furnishing basic educational material to their families by analyzing the family members' knowledge, educational needs and educational experience about indwelling catheter management. Method : The subjects consisted of 108 family members who cared for home care clients with indwelling catheters. Data were collected by home care nurses in nine hospitals in Pusan, who directly interviewed with them through questionnaires from Sep. 6th to 30th in 2004. The questionnaires for data collection were developed through pre-survey and reference review. The collected data was analyzed by using frequency, percentile, mean, variation, t-test, ANOVA on SPSS 10.1 package. Results : There were characters of home care clients with indwelling catheters: women(67.6%) were more than men; the average age of them was $69.60{\pm}14.99$ years old; neurogenic and cerebrovascular diseases(80.0%) were the most common disease group; 81.5% of them were totally dependent on others in terms of level of activity. Home care clients' families had these characters: women(76.9%) were more than men; the average age was $54.5{\pm}13.70$ years old; 46.3% of them were parents or sons or daughters in terms of relation with patient; tl1e average care period was $39.8{pm}34.20$ months. Level of knowledge about indwelling catheter management of the family members were 69.8% and its mean were $20.24{\pm}4.53$. Educational needs were 90.9% and its mean were $14.55{\pm}3.56$. Educational experience were 53.3% and its mean were $8.53{\pm}4.30$. 'Complications in using an indwelling catheter', 'Symptoms to call for a home care nurse' and 'Method to attach an indwelling catheter' were high ranked in both educational needs and educational experience. 'Anatomy of urinary tract', 'Functions of urinary tract' and 'Catheter placement' were low ranked in both educational needs and educational experience Level of knowledge about indwelling catheter management of the families showed a significant difference according to their age(F=5.35, p=0.01). Educational needs showed a significant difference according to care period(F=3.06, p=0.04). Conclusion: the family members' level of knowledge and educational experience about indwelling catheter management and their educational were not sufficient while their educational needs were high. In other words although the family members were acknowledged education needs, but the care for the patients with indwelling catheter weren't performed well because of their lack of related knowledge. Therefore systematic educational programs about indwelling catheter management for home care clients and their families should be made on the base of this study.

In case of the BTL project for current educational faculties, the proper standards to analyze those said educational standards lack, so it is very difficult to conduct an exact analysis and those improper standards are problematic when proper management and maintenance costs are calculated. In case of such educational facilities, as students have to use them safely for a long time and the quantity of their activities and the status of their physical growth based on individual classes, as well as the features for use by facility and the regional characteristics are different, other standards for maintenance and management must be considered unlike an apartment house. Thus, in this study, to set up the standards considering the features of educational facilities, the maintenance and management level suitable for educational facilities is presented by comparing and analysing that required to maintain and manage an apartment house, targeting the experts specializing management of educational facilities.

In this paper, we propose an educational management model tailored specifically for addressing damage in tunnels, utilizing numerical solution techniques. By leveraging advanced computational methods, we aim to develop a comprehensive understanding of the factors contributing to tunnel damage and to establish proactive measures for mitigation and repair. The proposed model integrates principles of tunnel engineering, structural mechanics, and numerical analysis to facilitate a systematic approach to damage assessment, diagnosis, and management. Through the application of numerical solution techniques, such as finite element analysis, we demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed model in simulating various damage scenarios and predicting their impact on tunnel performance. Additionally, the educational component of the model provides valuable insights and training opportunities for tunnel management personnel, empowering them to make informed decisions and implement effective strategies for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of tunnel infrastructure. Overall, the proposed educational management model represents a significant advancement in tunnel management practices, offering a proactive and knowledge-driven approach to addressing damage and enhancing the resilience of tunnel systems.

With introduction of amended educational curriculum in 2007, optimizing project of educational environment to accomplish its purposes and goals includes expanding educational facilities and supplying eco-friendly school facilities. However, while the focus of optimizing project of educational environment is quality improvement of educational facilities, aging of these facilities built at th times of quantitative expansion and its management become serious problems. Higher concerns on studies and jobs on management of building caused by serious aging of facilities, management cost of building becomes a very crucial issue. Therefore, this study aims to analyze environment improvement budget of school facilities through building and using data warehouse, by investigating and analyzing the current status of environment improvement budget of school facilities and its cost through questionnaire and interview surveys on officers who are in charge of environment improvement budget of school facilities in educational administrations. This study thus analyzed environment improving budget of school facilities by using data warehouse technology collecting related data to the topic and setting levels by region, school class, establishment year, school facility types and others.
Purpose: This study was done to develop an educational needs scale for the prevention of cell phone addiction and to investigate the educational needs for prevention of cell phone addiction in Korean adolescents. Methods: The participants were 609 adolescents in one middle school and two high schools. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires, and analyzed using the SPSS program. Results: Twenty items regarding the educational needs for prevention of cell phone addiction were selected for the final scale, and categorized into 3 factors (diagnosis and management, properties, and definition and actual condition) which explained 61.09% of the total variance. The educational needs for the prevention of cell phone addiction in adolescents were moderate, with items related to diagnosis and management ranked as most important. The educational needs for prevention of cell phone addiction varied by gender, grade, academic achievement, perception of health status, satisfaction with school, and text messaging participants. Conclusion: The findings indicate that educational needs for diagnosis and management of cell phone addiction ranked as most important in adolescents. Therefore, programs related to the prevention and management of cell phone addiction based on the educational needs of adolescents should be provided.
