우리나라, 싱가포르, 핀란드의 PISA 2012 수학에서의 성차에 대한 교육맥락변인 영향력 비교 분석 (Analysis of Educational Context Variable Effects on Gender Differences Observed in PISA 2012 Mathematics in Korea, Singapore, and Finland)

  • 본 연구에서는 PISA 2012 수학 영역에서 나타난 성차가 PISA 2009와 비교하여 여학생의 점수는 유지된 반면, 남학생의 점수가 급격히 상승했으며, 그 원인이 상위수준의 남녀 비율의 차이에서 비롯되었다고 보고 남녀의 상위수준 성취에 영향을 준 교육맥락 변인을 분석하였다. 특히 PISA 2012의 상위국 가운데 여학생의 성취가 높은 싱가포르와 핀란드에 대해서도 동일 변수에 대해 분석하여 상위권 여학생의 성취에 영향을 주는 요인을 살펴보았다. 이때 PISA의 위계적 자료구조의 특성을 고려하고, 국가별 수학 상위수준(5수준 이상)과 최상위수준(6수준) 집단별 교육맥락변인 특성을 비교하기 위해 이항로짓 다층분석을 실시하여 상위수준 및 최상위수준 집단에 포함될 확률에 유의한 영향을 준 변수를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 방과 후 과외 및 학원에서의 학습시간은 세 국가의 남녀 학생 모두에 유의한 영향이 없었으며, 방과 후 학교에서 내어준 숙제를 하는 시간은 우리나라와 싱가포르의 남녀 학생이 상위수준 및 최상위 수준에 포함될 확률에 유의한 영향을 주었다. 특히 우리나라의 여학생이 상위수준 또는 최상위수준 집단에 포함되는데 공통으로 영향을 준 변수는 '방과 후 숙제 시간', '학습활동 태도', '학교평균 ESCS', '교사와 학생 관계'였으며, '가정 문화적 자산'은 우리나라, 싱가포르, 핀란드의 여학생이 최상위집단 포함되는데 주요한 영향을 주었다.

Is Educational Level Linked to Unable to Work Due to Ill-health?

  • Background: This study aimed to examine the association between educational level and unable to work due to ill-health (UWdIH) among 30- to 79-year-old South Koreans. Methods: A cross-sectional nationwide survey of the 2010-2016 Korea National Health and Nutritional Evaluation Survey was used for analyses. A total of 29,930 participants aged ≥30 and < 80 years, who do not have any disability in their daily life because of health problems, were included. Educational level and reason for nonworking are self-reported with multiple choices. Multivariate logistic regression was used to examine an association between education level and UWdIH by setting those who graduated college as their final education (n = 6,997) as a baseline while controlling for potential confounding factors. Results: In the age-stratified result, the ratio of UWdIH was increased as age increases in 3 educational groups (p < .0001). There was a tendency that low-level educated [International Standard Classification of Education (0-2)] participants showed higher ratio of UWdIH than high-level educated [International Standard Classification of Education (5≤)] participants in both sexes (odds ratio: 2.54, 95% confidence interval: 2.12-3.05). Conclusion: There is a clear link between educational level and UWdIH; the less the educated, the more likely to be UWdIH. Policy priority should be given to plans that can help this vulnerable social group to work and enjoy healthy lives.

임산부의 교육요구도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Educational Needs of Pregnant Women)

  • This study was conducted to assess to the knowledge and educational needs of pregnant women relating to antepartum, delivery, postpartum periods, and to identify the variables which influenced their knowledge and educational needs. The study subjects were 282 postpartum women who had delivered fullterm normal babies without any complications. Data were collected from women those who were not more than two days after delivery at general hospitals, 3 maternal child health care centers and 4 midwife's offices in Pusan using questionnaire method from Feb. 1. 1991 to Mar. 20. 1991. The results of this study are as follows 1. Relating to the antepartum period, the knowledge about the time when the sex of fetus was fixed was low, and relating to delivery, the knowledge about the method reducing labor pain was low. 2. Relating to the antepartum period, the educational needs about child rearing was high, and relating to delivery, the educational needs about newborn baby were high. Relating to the postpartum period, the educational needs about emergency care of new born baby were high. 3. There were statistically significant differences in total educational needs by educational level(P<.01), duration of marriage (P<.01), and number of pregnancy(P<.05). 4. There were positive correlation between the total knowledge and educational level and negative correlations between the total knowledge and duration of marriage and age.

Analysis of Educational Services Distribution: The Case of Kazakhstan

  • Purpose: This research aims to analyze the educational potential and students' satisfaction with the quality of education services distribution in Kazakhstani universities. The conceptual review shows that very few studies on regional development have been able to determine the level of satisfaction with the quality of educational services depending on the university's location. Research design, data, and methodology: The research methodology is divided into two approaches descriptive analysis and qualitative data analysis. The current educational situation and the distribution of educational services in the largest Kazakh universities were studied based on the proposed approaches' use. Statistical data are taken for indicators of educational potential for 2010-2020 from the Bureau of National Statistics. The primary data were collected based on a survey for 2021-2022 in five regions of Kazakhstan. Results: The results showed that there is a gender gap between men and women and regional disparities between the regions of Kazakhstan in the coverage of higher education. The results of the sociological survey revealed that the quality of educational services depends on the territorial location of the university. Conclusions: Based on the results of the assessment of educational potential and educational services, policy recommendations and further research in this area were proposed.

당뇨교육자료 자료의 이독성과 적합성 평가 (Readability and Suitability Evaluation of Educational Materials on Diabetes Mellitus)

  • The aim of this study was to evaluate the readability and suitability of patients' education materials on DM. A total of 34 materials on DM from public health centers, general hospitals, and internet web sites were evaluated for readability by 'graded system of vocabulary', and suitability by 'The Korean version of SAM(Suitability Assessment of Materials)'. On the average, 28.3% of 1st grade reading level words, 27.1% of 5th grade level and over were included in educational materials. For suitability, 6(17.6%) were judged superior, 20(58.8%) adequate, 8(23.6%) inadequate. The reading level of the materials was higher than the recommended reading level(6th grade reading level). For suitability, most of materials were inadequate in some of items such as 'summary or review included', 'context given', 'interaction used'. It is proposed that in the development of patients' educational materials, health literacy of target population should be considered.

초등 정보통신 윤리수준 개선을 위한 사례 기반 다중형 교수학습모형 (A Case based Multiplex Teaching and Learning Model to Improve the Educational Level of Information and Communication Ethics in Elementary School)

  • 정보통신환경에는 관련지식이 부족하고 가치관도 정립되지 못한 초등학생들에게 특히 큰 위험요소가 상존한다. 본 논문에서는 초등 학생들의 정보통신윤리 수준을 개선시키고자 학생들이 더욱 많이 참여하고 흥미도 느낄 수 있는 사례 기반의 다중형 교수학습모형을 제안한다. 제안 모형은 실제 생활속에서 발생할 수 있는 정보통신윤리 갈등상황을 중심으로 진행된다. 수업은 사례기반으로 진행하기 적합하도록 세 종류의 교수학습모형(가치 갈등, 가치 명료화, 역할놀이 교수학습모형)을 통합하여 적용한다. 적용 후, 제안모형이 정보통신윤리 수준 향상에 미치는 교육적 효과를 차시별로 비교 분석한다. 검증은 평가지와 설문방법을 통하여 인지적, 정의적, 행동적, 종합적인 영역의 4가지로 나누어 실시한다. 연구결과, 제안모형이 학생들의 정보통신 윤리수준을 향상시키는데 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 보이고 있다.

도시주부의 성역할 태도와 가정관리에 대한 가치의식이 가사노동 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Sex Role Attitude and The Value Consciousness of Home Management on Urban Housewive's Satisfaction of Household Work)

  • The purpose of this study are to investigate the actual conditions of urban housewive's sex role attitude, the value consciousness of home management and the satisfaction of household work. Further, basic data fro the improvement of the satisfaction of household work and the value consciousness of home management will be produce through grasping the relationship of them. For these purposes, the data are collected by using questionnaire distributed to 394 housewives living in Taegu. The data are analyzed using frequency, pecentile, one way anova, pearson's correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis. The results of this research are as follow: 1. Urban housewive's sex role attitude comparatively took the transitional position and the value consciousness of home management was middle. Housewive's satisfaction of household work was generally usual. 2. There were significant differences in the sex role attitude according to housewive's age, educational level, the youngest child's age, durations of marriage. Specially, the variables which significantly affected sex role attitude were housewive's educational level, the youngest child's age. 3. The value consciousness of home management of urban housewives was variable according to housewive's age and educational level, monthly family income, durations of marriage, the youngest child's age, the type of housing, husband's educational level and job. 4. Among the independent variables, the houswive's educational level was variable to have influence on the satisfaction of household work. 5. There were significant differences in the satisfaction of household work according to housewive's sex role attitude. 6. Among the domains of the value consciousness of home management, the value consciousness about family relationships, consuming, educational and leader ship were variable to have influence on the satisfaction of household work.

학제별 치위생(학)과 만족도 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Satisfaction Level with the Department of Dental Hygiene by Educational System)

  • 본 연구는 4년제와 3년제 치위생(학)과 학생을 대상으로 한 학과 만족도의 분석을 통해 급격히 증설된 4년제에 대한 교육과정, 실습, 시설 등의 개선을 위한 기초자료로 활용하기 위해 수행되었다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 치위생(학)과 만족도 수준은 5점 만점 중 3.18로 보통인 것으로 나타났다. 2. 학제별 치위생(학)과 만족도는 4년제 수도권이 지방이나 3년제에 비해 낮았다. 3년제 학생이 4년제 학생보다 교육과정 만족도에서 높았으며(t=2.03, p<0.05), 4년제 학생은 3년제 대학 학생보다 교육시설 만족도 (t=-4.12, p<0.001)와 대인관계 만족도가 높았다(t=-3.07, p<0.01). 3. 3년제의 경우 교육시설 만족도에서 수도권 대학이 높았으나(t=5.28, p<0.001), 나머지는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 4. 4년제는 교육과정(t=-5.39, p<0.001)과 교육시설(t=-5.18, p<0.001) 및 치위생(학)과 만족도(t=-3.98, p<0.001)에서 지방 대학이 수도권 대학보다 높았다. 치위생(학)과 만족도에서 수도권 4년제의 경우 특히 교육과정에서 지방이나 3년제에 비하여 현저히 낮은 만족도를 보인 바 4년제에 맞는 교육과정의 개발이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 교육시설적인 측면에서의 보완도 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

노인의 건강불평등 : 교육불평등에 따른 건강불평등에 대한 사회참여의 매개효과 (Health Inequalities among the Elderly : Mediation Effect of Social Participation Between Educational Level Inequalities and Self-rated Health·Depression)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인의 교육불평등에 따른 건강불평등(주관적 건강상태와 우울)에 대한 사회참여의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 분석을 위한 연구 자료는 강남구 노인복지욕구 실태조사이다. 본 자료는 2009년 7월 30일부터 8월 15일까지 강남구 22개 각 동에서 60세 이상 노인을 대상으로 수집되었으며, 최종 분석에 총 631명의 자료가 사용하였다. 분석방법은 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차를 통해 대상자의 일반적 특성을 살펴보았으며, 변인간 가설검증을 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 통계 프로그램은 SPSS 18.0을 이용하였다. 분석 결과 노인의 교육불평등은 노인의 건강불평등에 영향을 미친다는 것이 검증되었다. 또한 교육불평등이 노인의 건강불평등에 영향을 미치는 경로에 있어서 사회참여가 부분매개효과가 있음이 입증되었다. 사회참여 변인이 부분매개효과를 보인다는 것은 노인의 교육불평등이 심할수록 건강불평등(주관적 건강상태, 우울)도 심화된다는 직접적인 경로와 함께, 교육불평등은 사회참여를 통해 더욱 심화된 건강불평등(주관적 건강상태, 우울)을 이끌어낸다는 간접적 경로를 검증해 주는 것이다. 이러한 결과는 한국 사회에서 교육불평등이 건강불평등으로 연결된다는 것을 실증 분석했다는 점과 교육불평등으로 인한 건강불평등을 완화할 수 있는 사회복지적 실천방안으로 사회참여라는 개입방법을 사용할 수 있다는 메커니즘을 검증했다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

결혼관련 요인의 출산력에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Regressional Study on the Relation between Marriage Variables and Fertility)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the important marriage variables influencing fertilty. The data on which this study is based was selected from the survey data which was nation-widely collected from 2,824 married women in 1989 as the Korean. Family Function Study performed by the Korea Institute for Population and Health. The data was analyzed by the methods such as Cross Tabulation, Pearson's Correlation, and Multiple Regression. And the data analysis was processed by SPSS. The results are as follows. 1. There are differences in fertility according to the socioeconomic factor. The higher the educational level of a married woman is the lower the fertility level. And if the decision of marriage was made by herself, the fertility level is significantly low. As the duration of living in a large city is longer and the educational level of her husband is higher, the fertility level is low. 2. There are differences is fertility according to the demographic factor. As the first marriage age of her and her husband, the fertility level was low. And when a couple doesn't live with the husband's parents and the size of a family is small, the fertility level is low. 3. Finally the factors affecting fertility were analyzed by the Stepwised Multiple Regression. The result shows that as the educational level of a married woman is higher, she herself decides the marriage, the first marriage level of her is higher, the size of a family is small, her husband is higher, the fertility level is low.
