우리나라 초등학교 수학과 교육과정의 변화 경향 재고 -Ernest의 수학교육철학적 관점에서- (Reconsideration of the Change in the Past Korean Elementary Mathematics Curriculums -In the View of Ernest's Philosophy of Mathematics Education-)

  • 그 동안 우리나라 수학과교육과정에 대하여 간헐적으로 이루어져 왔던 수량적, 외형적 분석에서 나아가 의미론적 파악을 위하여 우리나라 초등학교 수학과교육과정의 변화 경향을 수학교육철학적 견지에서 재고해 보았다. 일반적으로 수학과교육과정은 해당 시기 학교수학의 내용이 되는 수학에 대한 철학적 입장과 교육과정 실천의 장인 수학 수업 현장이 내포해야되는 사회학적 입장을 동시에 반영하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 수학교육에 대한 수리철학적 분석과 사회학적 분석을 조화롭게 다룬 Paul Ernest의 사회적 구성주의 중심의 수학교육철학적 관점을 도구로 우리나라 20세기 중반이후의 초등학교 수학과교육과정의 변화 경향을 재음미해 보았다. 그 결과 대체로 진보주의(1차)에서 과학기술적 실용주의(2차)로, 그리고 구인본주의(3, 4차)에서 진보주의 경향(5, 6차)으로, 그리고 사회적 구성주의(7차)로 변화하는 경향을 갖고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

환경교육에서 PBL과 GBS간의 환경 소양 비교 연구 (A Comparison Study of Environment Literacy between PBL & GBS In Environment Education)

  • This study focuses on the comparison of PBL and GBS. PBL is a famous model that emphasizes diversity of students and self directed learning within the theory of constructivism. GBS has not been studied that extensively. GBS is most similar to PBL but this model has not been actively applied to school education. This study focuses on how to enhance students' interest in an educational environment that is encompassing a new and changing teach-learn paradigm and the development of new technology. Furthermore, PBL and GBS methods were compare actively applied to "Environmental Education" to make the students learn self-directed education through the transformation of one's environmental awareness. Specifically, the models were applied to the "Ecology and Environment" subject taught in general high schools and the degree of 'environmental literacy' were measured, From March to May of 2007, the PBL and GBS models were applied to 3rd grade students at D high school and the subject was 'Ecology and Environment'. The students were divided according to age into groups of $5{\sim}7$. The PBL group attempted to solve the given problems and the GBS group carried out their missions. In conclusion, after analyzing the 'environmental literacy' survey results by SPSS 12.0, just 'Knowledge of Ecology (KEOC)' and 'Locus of Control (LOC)' were slightly significant in PBL. This shows that PBL enhances the students' problem solving ability and thinking power. This is a result of the enhancement of students' problem-solving and thinking abilities through PBL. Students can learn many things because they completed their projects based on their experience and knowledge, both individually and interpersonally. We have to study how to apply PBL and GBS to the education field in spite of the many limited conditions. Therefore, this study looks at the application of PBL and GBS in environmental education and suggests specific strategies for educators who want to apply GBS and PBL and adapt them into their education curricula.

  • Recently, the development of IT technology, utilization of smart devices 3-5-year-old infants Upon smart device penetration rate per household increases has also sharply increased. In this paper, the educational contents for kid are considered and implemented by reflecting this trend. Content that has been produced in this paper are based on learning theory of constructivism, was to be performed naturally learn the content of the table-top display of applying the NUI technology. Also, the content creation that can help you learn infants through experiments crafted tabletop display interface content, it is believed to be the basis for the improvement of usability.

  • In this study, we tried to suggest a meaningful teaching method that is a mathematical thinking-oriented. After referring to the recent trend of mathematics education, we examined the direction that school mathematics should go. Next, we considered previous studies that deals with teaching methods focusing on the mathematical thinking. On the basis of the above examination, we accomplished case studies that aims at mathematical thinking-oriented teaching. And we explained that these case studies reflects the key points didactics of mathematics such as the education of ‘open mathematics’, constructivism etc. Finally, we proposed the necessity of mathematical thinking-oriented teaching in the current state of school mathematics.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the essentials of teaching-effectiveness affecting the students' achievement. Any discussion of psychological research and theory concerned with the way teachers affect student learning must consider a variety of issues germane to this research. These issues provide a context for interpreting the research presently available and for identifying an appropriate agenda for future research.Finally, research on teacher effects needs to expand its concern for the psychological mechanisms that are responsible for student learning from instruction. Within the context of this study, that concern is probably the major challenge facing educational psychologists interested in the teaching-learning process.

멀티미디어 매체의 지각된 특성이 학습 효과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study of Factors Influencing on the Learning Effects of Perceived Characteristics of Multimedia Media)

  • Recently, the rabid development of information technology has brought enormous changes in education. Consolidation of communications and multimedia technologies are enabling the new educational paradigm such as distance learning and virtual education. Furthermore, many studies in the education engineering field report that teaching using multimedia technologies more enhances students' performance than the traditional instructor-teaching method. However, little research regarding the education using multimedia has been done in the MIS filed. None of multimedia-related studies could be found in the top-ranked MIS journals published in Korea for the last five years, and only a few studies were found even worldwide. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to investigate which features of multimedia software are most important to enhance the teaching results of students. From the previous research, we found out the specific features of the educational multimedia software which are considered to affect the students'performance, and defined the research variables related to those educational software features. And, based on the constructivism and motivation theory of the education engineering field a theoretical research model and research hypotheses were developed. Perceived usefulness of the class and a student's perceived interests in the class were used as surrogate variables to measure teaching performance. Total 277 students participated separately in one of the two multimedia classes which have continued for three weeks. One was C programming language class and the other was multimedia CD-title development class. Each student listened for the multimedia session of the class using multimedia software and, at the end of the multimedia session, answered the survey questionnaire. The results of the study show that motivation to the class and the contents of education were statistically significant to the students'performance in the class. That implies, not only in the traditional instructor-teaching method but also in the multimedia class, that the contents of education itself and student's motivation to the class are most important to raise instructional results.

중학생들의 오개념에 대한 예비 화학교사들의 지식과 교육요구 (Pre-service Chemistry Teachers' Awareness of Middle School Students' Misconceptions and Their Perceived Educational Needs)

  • 이 연구에서는 5개 사범대학의 화학교육과 4학년 87명을 대상으로 중학생들의 오개념에 대한 지식과 인식, 그리고 교육요구를 조사하였다. 검사 도구는 학생들의 화학 오개념에 대한 지식 검사지 및 인식 검사지와 학생들의 오개념을 접한 경험과 관련 교육요구에 대한 교육요구 검사지로 구성되어 있다. 지식 검사에서 대부분의 예비 화학교사들은 물질의 입자성과 관련된 학생들의 오개념 유형을 충분히 인지하지 못하였다. 인식 검사에서는 학생 오개념에 대한 지식의 필요성을 높이 인식하고 이를 수업에서 활용하려는 의지가 컸다. 그러나 구성주의적 관점에서 오개념 활용 방안을 제시한 예비 화학교사들은 적었다. 학생들의 오개념은 주로 사범대학 화학 교과교육학 강의 및 강의 자료를 통해서 접했으며, 과제 수행이나 수업 시연 및 교육실습에서 학생들의 오개념 유형과 대처 방안에 대한 지식 및 관련 교수-학습 자료 등의 부족으로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 또한, 오개념 관련 강의 및 실행에 대한 교육요구가 높았다. 이에 대한 교육적 함의를 논의하였다.

  • 수준별 학습지는 열린 교실에서 주요한 학습 자료이다. 그러나, 초등 학교에서 학습지들이 종종 원칙없이 개발되어 왔다. 특히, 과학 교육적 요소들이 학습지 개발에서 무시되어 온 경향이 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 개선하고자 과학 지식의 맥락적 특성과 교육적 구성주의를 고려한 수준별 학습지 모형을 개발하였다. 이 모형의 틀은 탐구와 학습 과제에 나타나는 맥락으로 구성되어 있다. 학습지의 수준은 탐구요소의 통합성과 맥락의 친근성을 바탕으로 결정하였다.

  • 급증하는 멀티미디어 전문가 수요를 충족시키기 위하여 대부분 대학에서 멀티미디어 강좌가 개설되고 있고, 수강자들의 사전학습이 증가하고 있으며, 컴퓨터를 활용한 이미지 편집 등의 분야에서 사전학습은 일반화되었다. 하지만, 대부분의 강좌에서는 전통적인 학습모형을 유지하고 있기에, 사전학습자들을 위한 특화된 학습설계가 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 논문은 멀티미디어 분야에서의 사전학습자들의 특성을 규명하고, 이들의 학습욕구를 지원하는 강좌의 설계와 교재의 특징을 제안한다. 이를 위하여, 교육공학에서 새로운 패러다임으로 논의되는 구성주의와 문제 중심 학습 개념을 컴퓨터그래픽 분야에 적용하였고, 이를 통한 멀티미디어 전문가 양성을 효율적으로 지원하는 대학 강의의 특징을 밝힌다.
