교육용 애플리케이션 GUI에 따른 사용자 경험 연구 -EBS 수능강의를 중심으로- (Evaluation for User Experience about GUI of Design of Educational application -Mainly with Analysis on 'The Cast exams on the EBS lectures'-)

  • 본 연구는 교육용 애플리케이션인 EBS 수능특강을 사용자 관점에서 분석하고 이를 통해 GUI 디자인에 따른 사용자 경험의 개선 방향을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 1차로 문헌연구를 통하여 이론적 배경과 서비스 현황을 고찰하고, 2차로 피터 모빌(Peter Morville)의 허니콤 모델의 7가지 원칙을 바탕으로 재구성하여 사용자 경험 설문지를 작성하여 설문하였다. 그 결과, EBS 수능특강은 사용성과 더불어 시각적인 부분의 부족으로 GUI의 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 앞으로 교육용 애플리케이션의 사용자 경험 개선 방안을 위한 서비스가 개선될 것을 기대하며, 이후 진행될 교육용 애플리케이션 사용자 경험 연구에도 도움이 되길 바란다.

학습자의 교육용 어플리케이션 활용 만족요인과 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 (Research on Factors Effecting on Learners' Satisfaction and Purchasing Intention of Educational Applications)

  • 최근 스마트 기기의 대중화 및 교육용 어플리케이션에 대한 소비자들의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 교육용 어플리케이션 만족요인과 구매의도에 대한 사용자들의 요구를 분석함으로써 향후 교육용 어플리케이션의 보편화 시대를 대비한 개발 및 활용에 가이드를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 모바일 학습의 특성 및 어플리케이션의 만족과 구매의도에 대한 선행연구 고찰을 통해 교육용 어플리케이션의 적절성, 상호작용성, 유희성, 편재성을 독립 변인으로 설정하고, 만족 및 구매의도를 종속 변인으로 설정하여 연구 모형 및 가설을 수립하였다. 총 201명의 설문응답을 기반으로 한 구조방정식 분석 결과 적절성, 유희성, 편재성은 학습자의 만족과 교육용 어플리케이션의 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 상호작용성은 기각되었다. 본 연구결과를 통해 학습자의 요구에 부합하는 교육용 어플리케이션 현황을 이해할 수 있었으며, 이를 바탕으로 향후 모바일 학습의 성장 및 교육 콘텐츠의 활성화에 기여 할 수 있는 방안이 모색되었다.

미래융합인재 핵심역량에 대한 유통업 영업사원의 교육요구도 분석 (Educational Needs of Distribution Company Salespeople in Core Competencies for Convergence)

  • Purpose - The aim of this study was to analyze the educational needs of distribution company salespeople in core competencies for convergence and their general perception of convergence education. Furthermore, this study provides basic data on core competencies for convergence needed by them. Research design, data, and methodology - A survey was conducted on 104 distribution company salespeople who worked near Seoul, Korea to analyze the perceptions of their educational needs in core competencies for convergence education, according to their socio-demographic characteristics. The socio-demographic characteristics were gender, age, workplace size, education background, work experience and business category. The questionnaire consisted of demographic factors (7 questions), general perception of convergence education (5 questions), perception of importance of core competency for distribution company salespeople (9 questions), and current perception of distribution company salespeople on core competency of convergence workers (9 questions). Park et al.(2014)'s categorization of convergence core competencies was used: Cognitive convergence (creative thinking, critical thinking and understanding of convergence knowledge), convergence performance (problem solving, communications, collaboration and application of convergence tools) and attitude toward convergence (empathy and responsibility). Data was collected through an independent sample of t-tests and a one-way analysis of variance and the Borich Needs Assessment Model was used to identify the educational needs of distribution company salespeople in the core competencies of convergence education. Results- The results show that the subjects recognized the need for convergence education to be high among the general perceptions. The perception scores for workers of different backgrounds only varied according to the size of the business. Moreover, the results of the educational needs analysis and the ranks of the required core competencies of convergence workers by the subjects were as follows: 1. convergence knowledge understanding competency, 2. creative thinking competency, 3. convergence tool application competency, 3. communications competency, 4. problem solving competency, 5. collaboration competency, 6. critical thinking competency, 7. empathy competency, 8. responsibility competency. Conclusions - This study highlights the necessity of developing university curriculum that can nurture the core competencies of conversion education reflecting distribution company salespeople's requests as well as cultivating qualified convergence workers required by distribution company workers.

식생활교육 프로그램의 중요도-만족도 분석 - 서울·경기 식생활교육 프로그램 참여자를 중심으로 - (Importance-Satisfaction Analysis of a Dietary Life Education Program - Focusing on Dietary Life Education Program Participants in Seoul and Gyeonggi -)

  • This study was conducted to determine the elements that are required and that need improvement in the contents of dietary life education and the educational environment by analyzing the importance-satisfaction of a dietary life education program for dietary life education trainees. The results of the rank test for the satisfactory elements of dietary life education were in the order of competence of instructors, educational contents, time of education, educational environment and affordability of tuition. The importance-satisfaction analysis of the contents and construction of the dietary life education program showed that "suitable contents for the theme of the class", "contents and construction of practice class", "diversity of practice menu" and "diversity of educational contents" had high importance and satisfaction scores and therefore, could be maintained at their current levels. Meanwhile, "adequacy of class time" and "contents and construction of theory class" showed low importance and satisfaction scores, requiring a little effort. Whereas, "time and construction of group practice", "structure of textbook for class" and "duration of course and number of classes" showed relatively low satisfaction compared to importance, requiring major efforts for improvement. Similarly, analysis of the lecture element from dietary life education showed that "professional lecture by instructors", "lectures suitable for themes" and "lecture applicable in real life" had relatively low satisfaction compared to importance, requiring major efforts for improvement. In addition, analysis of the educational environment from dietary life education showed that "adequacy of lecture room space", "cooking equipment", "diversity of cooking utensils" and "sanitary condition of cooking utensils" also require major efforts for improvement. Therefore, dietary life education should not be executed with a simple delivery of knowledge but with both theory and practice classes to increase its application in real life, and active and specific efforts are required to nurture professional instructors and establish educational strategies.

화학공학분야 교육비전 수립 연구 (A Proposal for the Education Vision for Chemical Engineering Field)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish and propose educational vision of chemical engineering field in order to search for academic identity and future education direction in chemical engineering field. In order to achieve this research purpose, we investigate the literature and data on the vision, educational goals, and curriculum of the department of chemical engineering in domestic and foreign universities. We also analyze the SWOT of internal and external environmental factors respectively. The validity of the proposal was verified through delphi survey with delphi panels and the vision was developed by revising and improving upon the opinions of professionals. The vision is comprised of the value and mission of learning, the educational purpose, and the educational goal. The first stage is value and mission of chemical engineering. The educational purposes and the educational goals are divided into 'Department of Chemical Engineering' and 'Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering'. The application of the educational vision of chemical engineering field is as follows. First, we expect that the vision to be a valuable, philosophical, and theoretical basis for establishing educational objectives and goals in the field of chemical engineering. Hopefully, it will be used as a general education goal for the top-level education. Second, we hope that the vision will be used to develop customized vision, customized educational purpose, and educational goals that reflect the characteristics of region, departments, graduates, and educational needs in the field of chemical engineering. Finally, we hope that these results will be the starting point to discuss the educational vision in the department of chemical engineering.

소지품 분실예방 어플리케이션 개발 사례를 통한 교육효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Educational Effect from a Case of Application Development to Prevent Loss of One's Belongings)

  • 최근 무선인터넷 기술이 급속히 발전하고 있으며 특히 스마트폰의 서비스 활성화를 기반으로 모바일 어플리케이션에 대한 활용도가 높아지고 있다. 따라서 소프트웨어 개발자들이나 IT 관련학과 학생들은 일상생활에 편리한 각종 어플리케이션들을 개발하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 남서울대학교 컴퓨터학과 캡스톤 디자인 교과목에서 모바일 프로그램 개발 능력을 키우고 특히 안드로이드 운영체제기반으로 하는 각종 툴의 학습을 위해서 개발한 소지품 분실예방 어플리케이션을 제안한다. 이것은 스마트폰을 소지한 사용자가 알람을 통하여 자신의 소지품을 관리할 수 있고 분실하지 않도록 하는 어플리케이션이다. 또한 개발하는 과정을 통해 얻게 된 실무적 교육 효과에 대해 고찰하고자 한다.

  • 피지컬 컴퓨팅은 도구를 활용한 구체적 조작 활동으로 컴퓨터와 실제 세계간의 상호작용을 직접 관찰할 수 있어, 초등학교 학생들이 컴퓨터 과학의 개념과 원리를 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 도움을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등학생들이 보유한 스마트폰을 피지컬 컴퓨팅 도구로 활용할 수 있는 안드로이드 어플리케이션을 설계하고 개발한다. 안드로이드 스마트폰의 센서를 활용하여 데이터를 수집하는 클래스와 수집된 데이터를 컴퓨터로 전송하여 프로그래밍 학습에 활용할 수 있도록 하는 클래스를 설계하고 어플리케이션을 개발한다. 본 연구에서 개발하는 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교육용 어플리케이션은 다른 피지컬 컴퓨팅 도구의 구비가 어려운 환경에서 학생 자신의 스마트폰을 통해 컴퓨터 과학의 원리를 더욱 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 도구로 활용될 수 있다.

초.중.고등학교 교과서에 나타난 식생활 교육 내용 분석 (Analysis of Food and Dietary Educational Content in Primary, Middle and High School Textbooks)

  • This study investigated the food and dietary educational content in primary, middle and high school textbooks in order to provide fundamental data for the development of educational programs on Korean traditional food culture. The research objects consisted of 51 kinds of textbooks (15 kinds of primary school textbooks, 29 kinds of middle school home economics textbooks and 7 kinds of high school home economics textbooks), and the contents related to food and dietary education were counted and analyzed. The content analysis was performed using two categories: application method and subject matter. Application method included texts, cases, visual aids (pictures, photos, illustrations, chart, etc.) and activities, whereas subject matter consisted of seven types (well balanced nutrition and health, understanding of food and nutrition, cooking principles, cooking lessons, traditional foods and culture, others). The results of the application method in primary school textbooks show that visual aids were the most common in all six grades. For the subject matter, 'understanding of food and nutrition' was most abundant in primary school textbooks while 'well balanced nutrition and health' accounted for a large part of the contents in middle school textbooks. However, the contents regarding traditional foods and culture were insufficient in primary and middle school textbooks. These results suggest that educational contents on traditional foods and culture should be added to primary and middle school textbooks and covered in various subjects. Furthermore, high school 'home economics' contents need to emphasize comprehensive food and dietary education and adjust to 'science & technology for life'.

가상현실 콘텐츠의 교육 과정 운영을 위한 중학교 교육 환경에 대한 연구 - 교육 품질의 질적 제고를 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study on the Educational Enviroment for the Application of Virtual Reality Contents to the Curriculum -Focusing on Improving the Quality of Education)

  • Purpose: This study started with the question of how to use Virtual Reality (VR) contents as a part of the non-face-to-face education tool that has recently attracted attention. Methods: In this paper, the use of VR contents as an educational tool is explained as a process of 'new media access dimension'. The question was explored on why Virtual Reality (or Augmented Reality) contents are not used as educational tools in the educational field. Results: As a result, the lack of 'material access' such as devices and infrastructure affects 'motivational access' approach stage, which is the previous stage. Again, it has a negative effect on literacy, which is 'skill access' approach stage. As it was found that it was not circulating to the level of "motive-material-skill-usage", it was discussed that it was taking a different step from the past adoption process of ICT and smart media. Conclusion: Based on this, it is believed that immersive content will contribute to arousing interest that can be applied and spread in the educational field, and it is also thought that it will be possible to derive academic interest in the educational effect according to the characteristics of immersive content such as VR.

지방자치단체의 건강증진사업 활성화 방안 -교육적 접근을 중심으로- (Facilitating Health Promotion Programs at the Local Level: An Educational Approach)

  • This paper will discuss about how we can foster educational support mechanisms to facilitate health promotion programs at the local level. Health promotion in Korea is in the early developmental stage; it has only been since the Health Promotion Act was legislated in 1995, the health promotion programs have been planned and implemented. In the context of the recent decentralization process, local health departments have a major responsibility for developing and implementing health promotion programs at the local level. The short history of health promotion in Korea has meant that local public health departments have limited experience and organizational capacity for health promotion planning & practice. The results of one survey for investigating the progress of health promotion at the local level are instructive. The survey demonstrated that the public health workers recognized that the lack of personnels, insufficient budget, the lack of policy & the organizational support, the lack of skill & knowledge to be effective health promotors, the lack of guidance for health promotion practice were major barriers to implementing health promotion programs at the local level. The object of this paper is to suggest some ways of overcoming barriers to implementing health promotion programs at the local level This paper emphasizes on the importance of educational supports as well as environmental supports - legislative, policy, organizational, economical - in building the organizational capacity and infrastructure of local health department for health promotion. It suggests some ways of providing educational supports to the public health workers at the local level. and supports the positions that educational opportunities for training in health promotion can be better provided to the public health workers at the provincial level rather than at the national level. It argues that the educational & training programs should be developed and based on the educational need assessment; that the application of the main educational principles & theoretical models for health promotion be used to develop educational programs for the public health workers; and that professional health organizations should make plans to provide more educational programs at their annual conferences or at other convenient times. These kinds of educational supports facilitate the ability of public health workers to improve their capacity for health promotion practice at the local level and help to alleviate some of the pressure on state resources.
