과학영재 추수관리체제 모델 개발 예비연구: 국가수준 과학영재교육기관 사례를 중심으로 (Research on Follow-up Management Systems for Scientifically Gifted: Focusing on the Case of the Nation-level Institutes for Gifted and Talented Education)

  • 본 연구는 국가수준 과학영재교육 기관들의 과학영재 추수관리 현황에 대한 사례연구이다. 연구 목적은 국가수준 과학영재교육 수혜자들이 세계적으로 경쟁력 있는 과학인재로 지속 성장할 수 있도록, 그들을 계속 관리, 지원하는데 토대가 될 추수관리체제 개념모델을 개발하는데 있다. 구체적으로, 과학영재를 체계적이고 효율적으로 추수관리하는 체제의 구성요소를 밝히고자 한다. 이를 위해, 우선적으로 과학영재교육 전문가 의견 수렴을 통해 가설모델(초안)을 생성하였고, 다음으로, 과학영재교육 기관의 추수관리 사례 조사를 위해 가설모델(초안)을 기본틀 및 분석틀로 활용하였다. 이 과정에서 가설모델(수정안)이 산출되었고, 이는 사례 분석으로 타당화 과정을 거치면서 개념모델로 성장, 완성되었다. 전문가 의견 수렴에는 12인의 전문가가, 그리고 추수관리 기관 사례 조사에는 6개 기관이 참여하였다. 결과, 과학영재 추수관리 체제는 3개의 상부체제-자원체제 운용체제 활용체제-로 구성되며, 각 상부체제는 2개~3개의 하부체제로 이루어진다. 즉, 자원체제는 인적정보체제와 교육정보체제로, 운용체제는 입력체제, 분석체제, 관리체제로, 마지막으로 활용체제는 예축체제, 검증체제, 그리고 개선체제로 구성되는 것이 타당한 것으로 검증되었다.

물의 상태, 상태변화 및 그 조건에 대한 유치원, 초등, 중등 과학 교재의 내용 분석 (Analysis of K-12 Science Textbooks Related to 'States of Water', 'State Change of Water', and 'Conditions of State Change')

  • 이 연구에서는 물의 상태와 상태 변화 및 상태변화의 조건을 중심으로 유치원, 초등, 중등 과학 교재의 내용을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 유치원 제 5차 교육과정 교재들과 제 6차 교육과정에 근거한 초등학교 자연 교과서와 중학교 과학 교과서를 분석하였다. 개념의 학년별 전개를 주제형 계열화와 나선형 계열화에 비추어 분석한 결과, 일부 내용은 적절하게 구성되었으나, 일부 내용은 부적절한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학년이 증가함에 따라 개념은 지각적 인식 수준, 거시적 현상 이해 수준과 용어 인식 수준, 리고 미시적 개념 이해 수준으로 전개되었음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 응고와 융해 등 상태변화 중 일부개념과 열, 온도, 바람, 습도, 기압 등 상태변화의 조건에서는 미시적 개념 이해 수준의 전개가 이루어지지 않았다. 그리고 상태변화 개념과 열, 바람 등 일부상태변화의 조건 개념에서는 용어 인식 수준의 내용도 전개되지 않았다.

Thinking Science 활동에서 과제의 개방도와 학생들의 인지수준에 따른 언어적 상호작용의 특징 (The Characteristics of Verbal Interactions According to Students' Cognitive Levels and Openness Levels of Tasks in Thinking Science Activity)

  • 이 연구에서는 초등학교 5학년 영재학급 학생 14명을 대상으로, 과제의 개방도와 학생들의 인지수준에 따라 TS 활동에서 나타나는 언어적 상호작용이 어떤 특징을 보이는지 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 학생들은 과제의 개방도가 낮은 안내형 TS 활동보다는 개방도가 높은 개방형 TS 활동에서 훨씬 많은 언어적 상호작용을 보였고, 상위 수준의 상호작용도 안내형 활동보다는 개방형 활동에서 많았는데, 이런 결과는 언어적 상호작용의 거의 모든 하위 범주에서 나타났다. 또한, 안내형 과제를 수행하는 과정에서는 행동참여를 지시하거나 자기만족을 나타내는 언어사용 빈도가 높은 반면에, 개방형 과제를 수행하는 과정에서는 행동참여를 권유하거나 불만을 나타내는 빈도가 높았다. 학생들의 인지 수준에 따른 언어적 상호작용의 특징을 보면, 인지수준이 높을수록 상호작용의 빈도가 높고, 다양한 유형의 언어적 상호작용이 이루어지며, 상위수준의 상호작용이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학생들의 인지 수준과 과제의 개방도는 학생들의 언어적 상호작용에 복합적으로 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 인지 수준이 높은 학생일지라도 안내형 활동에서는 상호작용의 수준이 높지 않았으며, 개방도가 높은 활동이라도 인지 수준이 낮은 학생들은 참여도가 낮고 상호작용의 수준도 높지 않았다. 이는 개방가 높은 과제가 학생들의 사고를 자극하여 상위 수준의 상호작용을 이끌어낼 수 있지만, 그 효과는 학생들의 인지 수준에 따른 한계가 있음을 의미한다. 따라서 과제 활동에서 인지 수준이 낮은 학생들의 사고를 자극하고 참여도를 높이기 위한 과제 개방도의 조절과 교수 전략의 개발이 중요한 추후 과제라 생각된다.

초기 산욕부의 간호요구도와 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Nursing Needs and Satisfactions of Early Postpartum Women)

  • This study was carried out to identify the differences between nursing needs and levels of satisfaction of postpartum women during the early postpartum period. The goal of this study was to obtain needed to develope the nursing quality for postpartum women. The subjects were 87 postpartum women who had vaginal delivery at 2 general hospital and 2 maternity hospital in the Ulsan City. The period for the data collection was from June 1 to 29, 1999. The data was gathered using an 98 items questionnaire which was a modified version of a questionnaire the developed by Y. J. Chun. Results found are as follows : 1. The general characteristics of the subjects : The majority of subjects were 25-29 yrs. (57.5%), high school and college graduates(96.5%), unemployed(75.9%), middle ranged economics(93.1%), had no religion(43.7%), male baby(52.9%), birth weight 3-3.5Kg(49.4%), wanted pregnancy(96.6%), no abortion history(50.6%), had antenatal care(89.7%), had prenatal education(32.2%), postnatal education(42.5%), intended breast feeding (46.0%), had resonable self confidence about self(20.7%), infant care(36.8%) and nuclear family pattern(82.3%). 2. The level of nursing needs of overall nursing care(3.93) and the levels of satisfaction(3.86) was relatively high. The nursing needs by category of nursing care, the highest need was in the emotional and psychological care(4.09), and the lowest need was in physical need(3.73). The satisfactions by category of nursing care, the highest satisfaction was in emotional and psychological care(4.11) and the lowest satisfaction was in education in self care(3.64). The significant differences between nursing needs and satisfactions were found on education in infant care(p=.005), and education in self care(p=.020). 3. Among items of physical care, 'accurate medication and treatment(4.21)', 'control of postpartum hemorrhage(4.13)', 'pain control and care of episiotomy wound (4.12)' and 'regular observation of postpartum conditions(4.09)' showed high nursing needs. 'Accurate medication and treatment(4.31)', 'regular observation of postpartum condition(4.24)', 'control of postpartum hemorrhage(4.22)' and 'pain control and care of episiotomy wound(4.12)' showed high satisfaction levels. 4. Among items of emotional and psychological care, 'personal treatment(4.32)', kind and faithful care(4.30)', 'detailed explanation on the treatment or nursing care(4.25)', 'adequate draping during the care and treatment(4.23)' and detailed explanation on a doubt(4.13)', showed high nursing needs, 'personal treatment(4.52)', 'kind and faithful care(4.45)', 'detailed explanation on a doubt(4.24)', 'detailed explanation on the treatment or nursing care(4.21)' and 'adequate draping during the care and treatment(4.18)' showed high satisfaction of nursing care. Difference between the level of nursing needs and satisfaction was significant except item of 'early contacts with their baby and breast feeding'. 5. Among items of environmental care, the highest level of need and satisfaction were on the items of 'neat bedding and clothes(4.05, 4.21)' and 'room cleansing or care of room(4.01, 4.28)'. Differences between the level of nursing care and satisfaction were 'room cleansing of care of room'. 6. Among items of educational needs on self care, 'sitz bath method(4.22)', 'high risk symptoms to immediate clinic visits(4.13)', 'the timing of tub bath(4.05)' and 'good secretion of breast milk(4.03)', showed high nursing needs, 'sitz bath method(4.22)' showed high satisfaction of nursing care. Differences between the level of nursing care and satisfaction were 'the timing of hair shampoo', 'the timing of tub bath', ' the method of pad change', 'postpartum exercise', 'good secretion of breast milk', 'maintenance of breast figure', 'contraindicated drugs in postpartum women', 'kegel exercise' and 'breast self examination'. 7. Among items of educational needs on infant care, 'immunization of infants(4.36)', 'symptoms of sickness to immediate clinic visits(4.28)'. 'safety and emergency care(4.28)', 'umbilical care(4.26)', 'feeding times and intervals(4.24)', 'normal growth and development of infant(4.24)' and 'infection control(4.22)', showed high level of nursing care, 'immunization of infants(4.21)', 'feeding times and intervals(4.17)', were high satisfaction items showed significant differences between the level of nursing care and satisfaction. 8. Relationship between nursing needs and levels of satisfaction among postpartum women were as follows : 1) Physical area : There were no significant differences in the level of nursing needs, but satisfaction levels were significantly different among 'working mothers', 'baby's weights', 'baby's sex', 'planning of feeding' and 'routes of receiving postpartum informations'. 2) Emotional and psychological area : The level of nursing needs were significantly different in the area of 'confidence in self care'. Satisfaction levels were significantly different among 'baby's sex', 'baby's weights', 'the confidence of infant care' and 'working mother'. 3) Environment area : There were on significant differences in the level of nursing needs, but satisfaction levels were significantly different among 'maternal age' and 'baby's weights'. 4) Education in self care : The level of nursing needs were significantly different among 'parity history' and 'type of family formation'. Satisfaction levels were significantly different among 'working mother', 'baby's sex', 'antenatal care', 'postpartum education', 'planning of feeding', 'routes of receiving postpartum informations'. 5) Education in infant care area : The level of nursing needs were significantly different among 'parity history'. Satisfaction levels were significantly different among 'baby's sex', 'receiving postpartum education or not' and 'working mother'.

주부의 여가활동과 여가제약요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Leisure Activities and Their Constraints of Housewives)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the leisure activities of housewives, to identify the factors that influence leisure activities, and to explore the factors contribute to their life satisfaction. So, this study analyses the effects of econo-demographic and socio-cultural variables and of leisure constraint factors on the leisure activities of housewives. And it deals with how these variables and the leisure activities influence life satisfaction of housewives. For these puoposes, 508 housewives residing in Seoul & Daegu were selected for interviews. For data analysis such statistical methods as ANOVA, t-test, Pearson's correlation, adn Multiple Regression Analysis can be summarised. The main findings of the research are as follows: 1. Leisure acivities are classified in Self-developmental, Home-oriented, Time-consuming, Social and Children-concerned types by the technique of factor analysis. The average particiation level was high in Time-consuming type, but low in Self-developmental type. 2. The participation level of leisure activities shows significant differences by selected variables: The Self-developmental type shows significant differences by housewife's education level, income, husband's occupation, role orientation, home management type and leisure constraints. And Children-concerned type was differed to number of family nember, number of children, age of housewife and age of housewife and age of the youngst child. 3. The preference level of leisure activities differ by housewife's education level, income, husband's occupation, home management type and leisure constraints in the Self-developmental and the Social type. And the preference level of Home-oriented leisure activities was high in the middle class of income and husband's occupation. 4. The preference and participation level of leisure activities show differences. And the variables affecting the differences were housewife's age, education level, home management type, role orientation, leisure constraint factors in the Self-developmental type, and were demographic variables such as number of family member, housewife's age in the Home-oriented type. 5. The variables which affected the level of life satisfaction independently were leisure space, income, the participation level of the Self-developmental and the Social type and the preference level of the Self-developmental type.

미분적분학 단계별 교육을 위한 교과내용 및 방법 연구 (A Study on a Step-wise level Educational Model for Calculus)

  • The rapid change in school mathematics curricula occurred over last some periods requires lots of change or improvement in the education method for the university mathematics, especially in calculus. As an effort in this direction we restrict our concern to the freshmen of year 2002 of the Korea university of technology and education to investigate a correlation between their mathematics score on the national entrance examination and achievement score measured by their final grades in a calculus course. As a result of this research we propose a step-wise level educational model for the calculus education. In the model an appropriate teaching contents and method proceeding through the three steps are suggested and implementation issues are discussed. We believe that carrying out mathematics curricular are suggested in the model will be of service to calculus education particularly for student under the 7th national curriculum reform.

국내 초·중등 공학 교육 연구 동향 분석 (Research Trends and Issues of Engineering Education in Korean Elementary and Secondary Education)

  • The goal of this study was to analyze the research trends of engineering education in elementary and secondary education. To accomplish this goal, this study analyzed the journal papers by 'published year', 'research topic', 'research subject', 'research method' and 'related school subject'. Followings are the results of this study. First, regarding the published year, the studies related to the elementary and secondary school level engineering education had been conducted 1 to 3 pieces intermittently from 1995 to 2009. And the number of studies are more than 5 pieces after 2010. Second, regarding the research topic, the number of study followed by 'investigation for current status', 'tendency analysis', 'development of teaching method or model', 'verification of teaching method/models' effect'. Third, regarding the research subject, the number of study followed by 'student', 'literature', 'professor', 'teacher'. Fourth, regarding the research method, the number of study followed by 'survey research' and 'literature research', 'qualitative research', 'experimental research' and 'integrated research'. Fifth, regarding the related subject, the number of study followed by 'science', 'technology', 'mathematics', 'practical arts'. Based on the results of this study, there are the needs for further studies to establish theoretical foundation on the engineering content elements in elementary and secondary school level, analyze on related variables and effects, develop engineering assessment instrument, use a variety of research methods, and conduct study on the applications of engineering in math subject.

단위학교 교육정보화 정책의 의사결정 유형 분석 (Analysis of Decision-making Types for ICT Policy in Elementary School)

  • 2008년 4월 15일 학교 자율화 계획에 따라, ICT 교육에 대한 국가 수준의 지침은 폐지되었으며, 오히려 학교 수준에서 ICT교육에 대한 책임이 더욱 커지게 되었다. 이와 같은 교육정책의 급격한 변화는 단위학교 수준에서 ICT 교육 정책에 대한 의사결정에 큰 영향을 미치게 되었다. 그 결과로서 학생, 교사, 학교 간의 디지털 격차가 발생하게 될 가능성이 높아졌다. 따라서 본 연구는 단위학교 수준에서 ICT 교육정책에 대한 의사결정 유형과 인식에 대하여 조사하였다. 그리고 초등학교에서 ICT 교육정책 의사결정을 위한 새로운 의견을 제시하였다

성교육 프로그램이 여고생의 성지식과 성태도에 미치는 효과 (The effect of sex education program on high school girls' knowledge and attitude toward sex)

  • The purpose of this study is to develope sex education program for high school girls and to verify the effectiveness of the program in terms of improving the knowledge and attitude of them after executing the program. The subjects of study are 126 girls from K high school in Changwon city and they are divided into an experimental group and control group, and each group has 63 students. The program is executed 8 sessions during 8 weeks and the necessary time is 50 minutes for each session. The experimental group who has received sex education shows higher level of sex knowledge after sex education than control group, and the experimental group shows higher level of sound attitude toward sexual matters after sex education. The effect of education regarding sexual knowledge and attitude in an experimental group are lasted even after the education is finished. Conclusionally, these results shows that the sex education program which is developed for this study is effective.

전남지역 일부 치위생과 학생의 윤리교육에 따른 도덕성 발달수준 평가 (An Evaluation of the level of moral development of dental hygiene students by ethics education in the province of Jeonnam)

  • This study was conducted to evaluated the level of moral development of dental hygiene students in Korea. Data were collected through self reported questionnaires received from 197 dental hygiene students from May 6 to 28, 2008. The Korean version of the DIT(Defining issues Test) was adopted to evaluate levels of moral development that the score of P(%) and stage 4. The data were analyzed by a descriptive analyses and t-test. The mean score of P(%) and stage 4 was $45.21{\pm}12.69$ and $21.28{\pm}11.06$ respectively. The score of P(%) revealed significant difference by experience of ethical education, medical ethics education and work ethics education and necessity of medical and work ethics education, clinical practice exercise. The score of stage 4 revealed significant differences by necessity of work ethics education, participation of ethics education and importance of ethics education. In conclusion, for enhancing dental hygienists' moral development it is necessary to improve the curriculum and to develop the ethics education.
