ebXML 비즈니스 프로세스(Business Process)는 거래의 흐름을 정의하고 거래의 흐름을 주도하는데 사용되어지며 BPSS(Business Process Specification Schema)에 의해 UML과 XML 두 가지로 표현된다. 그리고 ebXML 비즈니스 프로세스는 메시징 서버와 연동하여 거래 흐름에 따라 실제 데이터를 주고 받게되는데, 현재 ebXML 비즈니스 프로세스를 완전히 지원하는 메시징서버는 거의 없다. 대개 XML/EDI에 기반을 둔 메시징 서버들이 많기 때문에 이러한 메시징 서버들은 ebXML의 TRP(Transport, Routing &Packaging)는 지원하지만 각 솔루션들의 비즈니스프로세스 형태가 만드는 회사마다 다르기 때문에 ebXML 비즈니스 프로세스와 연동을 하기 위해서는 변환과정이 필요하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 비즈니스 프로세스 변환기를 개발하는 것이며 메시징 서버 중 비즈니스 프로세스가 XML 형태로 생성되는 Microsoft BizTaik Server 2000을 기반으로 할 것이다.

This research has designed and implemented the standard conformance test system for e-Business solutions that supports the ebXML, which is currently being focused on as the leading electronic commerce framework. The adoption of standards such as ebXML is probably the best way to achieve interoperability among electronic commerce systems, and more and more e-Business solutions around the world are supporting ebXML. This research primarily discusses the concept and needs for the standard conformance tests on e-Business solutions. The standard conformance test system is developed based on the detailed specifications of the ebXML framework. This system was used to test commercial e-Business solutions supporting ebXML. The system implemented in this research will provide a significant basis for the standard conformance certification of e-Business solutions, and could also provide clear decision criteria for e-Business solutions currently in market, thus activate the overall e-Business market.

Recently, as electronic commerce service via the Internet has expanded over the world, the standardization for the e-commerce has been strongly required. Therefore UN/CEFACT and OASIS adopted ebXML standard for the purpose of creating single global electronic marketplace. New e-Business systems should require ebXMl- based messaging system for reliable messaging delivery. In this paper, we have implemented Message Service Handler(MSH) packaging, transporting and managing e-Business messages for supporting ebXML messaging service. The MSH supports various system environments and allows high-level applications running either local or remote hosts with Remote Method Invocation(RMI) interface. In addition, MSH guarantees reliable message delivery on internet since it retransmits message in case of delivery failure and handles duplicated message and applies acknowledgement message for secure message delivery. Nowadays MSH has applied to ebXML registry/repository.

ebXML and Web Services provide UDDI and ebXML registry for storing and managing the business and Service information of companies, respectively. Recently, W3C have released the OWL(Web Ontology Language) to Recommendation, and OWL-S proposed to describe the semantics of Web Services using the OWL ontologies. In this paper, we compared the OWL-S with the registry information model(RIM) of ebXML and the data structure of UDDI, and directly connect ones, which that of ebXML similar to that of UDDI; we extend the structure of the OWL to connect the rests. Consequently, our system enables to construct the ontologies of services and discover their semantics by using the information stored in the registries, and tintegrate UDDI, ebXML registry and OWL-S registry. By using the extending OWL-S documents in our system, agents can utilize for the semantic matchmaking.

국제 전자거래 표준 언어인 ebXML은 비즈니스 프로세스의 모델링과 구현이 독립되어 있다. 특히 ebXML의 비즈니스 프로세스 구현 언어는 UML (Unified Modeling Language)기반의 BPSS (Business Process Specification Schema)에서 BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation)기반의 ebBP (ebXML Business Process Specification Schema)로 변경되었다. ebXML은 단일화된 e-비즈니스 시장의 형성을 목표로 하고 있다. 따라서 ebBP가 비즈니스 프로세스 모델링으로 표현되는 다양한 업무 흐름을 지원 할 수 있는지 ebBP의 코레오그라피(Choreography) 표현 능력을 평가하는 것은 중요한 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 ebBP의 표현력을 워크플로우 패턴 입장에서 기존의 BPSS와 비교한다. 이 분석을 토대로 비즈니스 프로세스 모델에서 ebBP로 변환하는 방법을 제시한다.

전자상거래의 효율을 도모하기 위하여 사용되어졌던 XML/EDl이 WEB을 이장한 ebXML로 옮겨가고 있다. ebXML Registry/Repository를 의료망에 이용하면 완자의 수고를 덜 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 의료기술, 신장비 등을 거래 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 각 병원에서 구축되어진 전산망을 전제로 ebXML Registry/Repository를 이용하여 두 병원 간에 문서교환, 신기술, 의료장비 거래를 가능하게 하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 ebXML을 분석하고 그에 맞는 ebXML Registry/Repository를 설계하였다. 인터넷을 기반으로 한 본 시스템은 별도의 소프트웨어나 프로세스를 강요하지 않는다. 그럼으로써 환자들의 수고를 덜고 비용을 줄이는데 기여한다.

항만물류 산업에서는 ebXML이 부분적으로 이루어지고 있지만, 도메인 단위의 ebXML이 적응된 것은 거의 없는 실정이며, XML/EDI, ebXML 정보 시스템에 관한 연구가 진행되었지만 업무 전반에 적용되지 않고 있으며, 또한 항만물류 산업의 등록저장소가 따로 없는 실정이다. ebXML 기반의 선용품 SCM(Supply Chain Management) 시스템을 통해 각 업체간의 재고파악이 실시간으로 가능하게 되며, 이를 통해 각 업체간의 정보 공유는 물론 비용절감 면에서도 큰 효과를 거둘 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 SCM의 기본개념과 항만물류업무인 선용품 거래의 흐름을 분석하여, 차세대 전자상거래의 기반 구조가 될 ebXML 프레임워크에 기반한 선용품 SCM 시스템을 개발한 방법을 소개한다.

E-learning objects should be appropriately described and classified using standard metadata for facilitating the processes of e-learning resource description, discovery and reuse. These metadata need to be published in a registry to reduce duplication of effort and enhance semantic interoperability. This paper describes how standard ebXML registries can be used for annotating, storing, discovering and retrieving e-learning object metadata. For semantic annotation of e-learning objects, IEEE LOM is adopted as the metadata ontology. In order to support the e-learning metadata ontology in interoperable ebXML registries, a mapping scheme between LOM and ebXML information model is proposed. The usefulness of standard ebXML registries for sharing e-learning metadata is demonstrated by prototyping an e-learning registry called ebRR4LOM based on the scheme.

EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) has been widely utilized to support Business Activities since it has such advantages as fast transfer of information, less documentation work, efficient information exchange etc. Recently e-business environment has urged the traditional EDI system to be changed to ebXML framework. To apply the ebXML framework to a certain industry, it is required to implement Business Process (BP), Core Component (CC), Collaboration Protocol Profile (CPP), Collaboration Protocol Agreement (CPA), Messaging system etc. We have selected the port and logistics industry as a target domain to apply ebXML framework, since the EDI usage ratio of it is relatively higher than other industries. In this paper, we have analyzed the current status of EDI system and transaction processes in the port and logistics industry. We have defined the business process that will be registered in the registry/repository, the main component of ebXML framework, using UN/CEFACT modeling methodology. And Business Collaborations, Business Transactions, Business Document Flows, Choreography, Pattern, etc. are represented using UML according to UN/ CEFACT modeling methodology, to apply ebXML Framework to the port and logistics distribution industry. Also we have suggested the meta methodology for applying the ebXML framework to other industries.

EDI는 기업과 기업간의 거래에서 종은 방법이지만 중소기업이나 소기업에서는 EDI의 도입이 기술적으로나 비용적으로 어려운 게 사실이다. 이 경우 ebXML을 이용하여 EDl를 대신할 수 있다. ebXML을 이용하여 B2B환경을 구축할 경우 ebXML문서를 서로 주고 받는데 메시징 서비스 엔진이 필요하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 ebXML기반의 B2B환경에서 활용할 수 있는 메시징 서비스 엔진을 설계하고 구현하였다. 또한 실제 ebXML메시지를 전송할 때 발생하는 오류를 해결하기 로그를 기록하여 분석할 수 있도록 개발하였다.
