  • 미국의 ADL(Advance Distributed Learning)에서 제안한 스콤(SCORM; Sharable Content Object Reference Model)은 2000년 미국 국방부에서 발주한 6억달러에 이르는 e-러닝(e-Learning) 구축 입찰 계약에서 가이드라인으로 쓰여졌다. 용역 입찰 제안서에 스콤을 기초로 해 e-러닝 시스템을 구축하겠다는 내용이 명시돼야만 입찰에 참여할 수 있었던 것이다. 현재 제안된 e- 러닝 기술표준안들에 대한 국제인증 여부와 관계없이 e-러닝 실수요자 및 공급자의 움직임에 따라 이러한 추세는 향후 더욱 확대될 전망이다. 이 글에서는 실질적인 국제 표준으로 가장 근접해 있는 스콤의 내용 및 기술적 특징에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

  • Until now, there are many technologies to improve studying ability using e-learning system. In most of e-learning system, learners are studying through the lecture materials and studying problems. The studying ability and intention, however, can be improved through the shared materials and discussion. In this case, learning materials are shared by the learners' discussion and shared materials through the board Internet and MSN. Such data was not classified by learners; it was not easy for the learners to search related valuable information. Therefore, it was not helping to learning. The technologies of most text mining extract summary data from the collection of document or classify into similar document from the complex document. In this paper, we implemented e-learning system for learners to improve learning abilities and especially, applied text mining technology to classify learning material for helping learners.

  • In this paper, we investigate a problem with an e-learning system for e-business environments and introduce the solving method of the problem. To be more accurate, existing Web-hosted and ASP (Application Service Provider)-oriented service model is difficult to cooperate and integrate among the different kinds of systems. So we have produced sharable and reusable learning object, they have extracted a principle from pedagogical designs for units of reuse. We call LIO (Learning Item Object). This modeling makes use of a constructing for XML Web Services. So to speak, units of reuse from pedagogical designs are test tutorial, resource, case example, simulation, problem, test, discovery and discussion and then map introduction, fact, try, quiz, test, link-more, tell-more LIO learning object. These typed LIOs are stored in metadata along with the information for a content location. Each one of LIOs is designed with components and exposed in an interface for XML Web services. These services are module applications, which are used a standard SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) and locate any computer over Internet and publish, find and bind to services. This guarantees the interoperation and integration of the different kinds of systems. As a result, the problem of e-learning systems for e-business environments was resolved and then the power of understanding about learning objects based on pedagogical design was increased for learner and instruction designers. And organizations of education hope for particular decreased costs in constructing e-learning systems.

  • 최근 디지털 지식기반 사회에 대응하는 교육의 형태로 e-Learning이 교육적 대안으로 급부상하면서, 시스템의 상호 운영성 및 컨텐츠 명세, 활용을 지원하기 위한 표준화에 따른 연구가 국내외에서 급속도로 확산되고 있다. 특히, 국제표준기관에서 제시한 e-Learning 개발 환경을 위한 Learning Technology Standard Architecture(LTSA)와 Sharable Content Object Reference Model(SCORM)을 제 정하여 컨텐츠의 사용과 상호 호환을 가능하게 함으로써 e-Learning의 효율성을 증대시키고 산업 시장의 확장을 이룰 수 있다. 또한, 현재 많은 교육관련 업체에서는 SCORM 체계를 기반으로 한 학습 컨텐츠들을 개발하여 제공하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 국제 표준 기술인 SCORM을 기반으로 개발된 학습 컨텐츠를 체계적으로 지원하기 위해 컨텐츠 관리 시스템 개발에 대한 기술을 정의하고, 다양한 관점의 컨텐츠 메타 데이터를 식별, 분류함으로써 컨텐츠의 생성과 저장, 검색 나아가 형상관리를 위한 기본 정보로 이용 가능하다. 또한 이들 메타 데이터를 기반으로 한 학습 컨텐츠 관리 시스템의 프로토타이핑을 제시함으로써 재사용성과 유지보수성 향상을 통해 컨텐츠 개발의 용이성과 품질 및 생산성을 높일 수 있다.

  • e-Learning education system as the next educational trend supporting remote and multimedia education. However, the students stay mainly at remote place and it is hard to certificate whether he is really studying now or not. To solve this problem, some solutions were proposed such as instructor's supervision by real time motion picture or message exchanging. Unhappily, as you can see, it needs much cost to establish the motion exchanging system and trampling upon human rights could occasion to reduce the student's will. Accordingly, we propose the new intelligent system based on face recognition to reduce the system cost. The e-Learning system running on the web page can check the student's status by motion image, and the images transfer to the instructor. For this study, 20 students and one instructor takes part in capturing and recognizing the face images. And the result produces the prevention the leave of students from lecture and improvement of attention.

  • To generate individualized and adaptive course, it's required to have the foundation structure in which learning objects are connected with each other with logical relevances. Each learner can have peculiar learning path at each point of time of learning through the logical relevancy between those learning objects and various links, considering individual learner. The purpose of this study is to design a learning object-basis individualized learning system structure, considering semantic sequencing by learning task types. It is our understanding that the individualized learning system design model of this study, considering the relevancy between learning objects, can be a fresh trial to accommodate semantic learning and true educational spirits in e-Learning at this point of time when criticism, such as the learning object based course design is simply a collection of meaningless objects, etc., is becoming influential.

  • Thanks to the spacial and timely flexibility of laboratory's environment, the distance learning based real time PLC education system has been brought into relief as a next generation laboratory alternative. The developed system was installed using a relatively cheap PLC and PC camera. Providing image feedback through the PC camera, the system provides the student's interests of the lab as well as an opportunity to monitor the lab's activities and results.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a proper improvement direction of the public ordering and receiving system in related with e-Learning. The research methods for this paper are derived from survey about e-Learning companies and the written materials of the present public e-Learning project. According to the study, in most cases, the public e-Learning projects don't affect positively e-Learning company's businesses. It indicates that the public e-Learning project has three problems or improvement items. And as a solution to the problems, it presented the policy alternatives the policy alternatives as the concept of ordering and receiving system.

  • In this paper, we propose mobile Augmented Reality(AR) for smart learning system which is advanced e-learning. AR is technology that seamlessly overlays computer graphics on the real world. AR has become widely available because of mobile AR. Mobile AR is possible to get information from real world anytime, anywhere. Nowadays, there are various areas using AR such as entertainment, marketing, location-based AR. One of the most promising areas is education. AR in education shows lifelike images to users for realism. It's a good way for improving concentration and attention. We utilize only a camera for image-based AR without other sensor.

  • 주입식 강의로는 미래형 인재를 키우기 어렵기 때문에 e-러닝의 진화로 주입식 교육의 반대인 플립러닝이 이슈화되고 있다. 주입식 교육에서는 교사의 일방적인 주도성을 가지며 학생의 생동감, 흥미, 능력, 필요를 전혀 무시하는 단점이 있다. 이를 해소하기 위해 본 논문에서는 그룹 스터디 활동에 플립 러닝 방식을 적용함으로써 스스로 학습을 유도하는 시스템을 제시한다. 대표 학생은 활동 기간 동안 교사 역할과 함께 책임자가 되고, 수업 할 자료를 공유할 수 있는데 학생들은 자료마다 질문을 남길 수 있다. 대표 학생이 질문 확인을 함으로써 학생 진도를 확인할 수 있다.
