In order to establish an air force e-learning system, we analysed previous researches on air force education systems and conducted a survey on 3,597 air force trainees. Most of trainees have little experience on e-learning and do not understand it. But if they were given an opportunity, they would like to take a e-learning course. They had a lot of requests about function improvement for learning management systems, preferred individual education rather than collective education, and did not wanted to take an e-learning class at a computer laboratory. In this study, we found four elements that need to establish e-learning system for air force. They are content, trainer, trainee and service. Also, we suggested improvement plans for each elements.

This study classifies the characteristics of e-learning learners into personal and psychological factors and examines how they affect the e-learning effects and intention to reuse. For this purpose, a research study was conducted targeting university students at Y and K universities in Gyeongsangbuk-do. As a result, first, the grade, self-control, concentration and self-efficacy of the learner influenced the learning effect of e-learning. Second, learner's grade, e-learning experience, self-efficacy, and learning effect were found to influence e-learning intention. Therefore, the system design and the managerial role of the instructor should be considered in order to develop various contents considering the characteristics of university students and to manage the learning process by themselves. The results of this study are expected to provide effective data for improving the learning effect of e-learning and to provide basic data on individual characteristics of e-learning learners.

The purpose of this study is to develop contents and management strategies of Social Welfare Education e-Learning. For this study, Data were collected from students who were attended to Introduction to Social Welfare e-Learning in K center between first semester, 2006 and first semester, 2007 as well as professors and system operator. It is important meaning to performance as the first empirical study which is on the e-Learning of social welfare studies. As a results, it has been proved that systematic preparation process, study contents which is centered field, active interaction among students, study management in time efficiency, technological supports for system improvement are significant factors on construction and development of Social Welfare e-Learning.

The cyber classes of an e-Learning system have been considered as one of the important form of education. However, there is no or little study of effectiveness and function for the students' position. In this study, I analyzed log files in the e-learning system, and classified login and teaming hour patterns of students, who were enrolled in the undergraduate courses of the university, into hourly pattern in a daily pattern in a week, weekly pattern in a semester. I proposed general ideas to improve effectiveness and function of current e-learning. Over 50% of logins were for less than 30minutes learning and there is wasteful use of e-learning system resources.

In this study we developed an ontology-based e-learning system for supporting self-directed learning. In this system, a domain ontology of a learning topic was constructed and relation properties were defined to indicate the relations among the learning concepts. The learning concepts and their relationships are structured visually through the domain ontology. It also boosts understandabilities of students by means of the visualization of relationships among the pre and post concepts. In addition, the system provides reasoning so that learners can do intelligent query when they want to learn more or they are curious about the high-level knowledge while they are learning a topic. These features of the system would help learners' self-directed and active learning.

In this paper, we propose a recommendation system for supporting self-directed programming language education. The system is a recommendation system using collaborative filtering based on learners' level and stage. In this study, we design a recommendation system which uses collaborative filtering based on learners' profile of their level and correlation profile between learning topics in order to increase self-directed learning effects when students plan their learning process in e-learning environment. This system provides a way for solving a difficult problem, that is providing programming problems based on problem solving ability, in the programming language education system. As a result, it will contribute to improve the quality of education by providing appropriate programming problems in learner"s level and e-learning environment based on teaching and learning method to encourage self-directed learning.

Edutech is a compound word of education and technology, and is an educational paradigm in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. This refers to next-generation education using information and communication technology (ICT) such as big data, artificial intelligence (AI), robots, and virtual reality (VR) of the 4th industrial revolution. e-Learning is being used as an online lecture for education in ICT, but edutech is attracting attention along with e-learning as the feeding of non-face-to-face education has rapidly increased due to COVID-19. Therefore, this paper summarizes the reviewed papers on the blockchain-based badge service platform, simulation-based collaborative e-Learning system, video English dictionary, and blockchain-based access control audit system.

This study grasped the problem by examining the consciousness of professors about the e-Learning and reached a conclusion as follows. The understanding of the e-Learning in university should be reconsidered and diffused. To activate the e-Learning in university, the education system corresponding to course of the coming education should be introduced by hold the seminar and workshop periodically and establish vision and middle-short range policy for the e-Learning. Also, university should manage by characterizing a web-based class with the major for a learner hoping to take a cyber education course and propel contents development and interchange with a foreign university by concluding a convention for taking lectures having competitive power of an advanced country to make a worldwide university.

The e-Learning quality assurance is a part of responsibility for education in latest information age, and should be understood as a basic direction for qualitative enhancement rather than quantifiable expansion. In such a context, this study sought to survey latest trends of e-Learning quality assurance activities deployed around overseas countries, so that it could give possible implications on how to plan and perform e-Learning quality assurance in Korea. So, this study focused on surveying actual conditions, coverage, target and useful indices of e-Learning quality assurance activities deployed by 9 institutions across 5 countries, and characterizing those activities across 5 countries. As a result, this study could find out its implications such as acquisition of various resources available for e-Learning, nationwide consolidation of e-Learning quality assurance activities, development of specialists in e-Learning quality assurance, and choice and focus for e-Learning quality assurance system. In other words, it was found that e-Learning quality assurance should be approached from nationwide standpoint in the interest of better educational quality, rather than from viewpoint of task.

정보 통신 기술의 급속한 발달로 인터넷 환경의 학습은 학습 혁명을 주도하는 핵심적인 위치에 있다. 인터넷 환경은 시공간의 제약 없이 자신이 필요로 하는 다양한 교육과정에 접근이 가능하고 생업과 병행하여 학습을 할 수 있는 접근성을 갖는다. 그러나 인터넷에 대한 접근성의 차이는 디지털 디바이스 현상을 발생하게 하여 온라인 학습자와 오프라인 학습자의 교육격차를 더 크게 한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 연구는 인터넷 환경이 원활하지 않은 경우에는 지속적인 학습을 진행할 수 있도록 PDF 시스템을 활용한다. 이 시스템을 통해 오프라인에서의 학습 결과를 온라인에 전송하여 이력을 제공하는 시스템을 설계하고자 한다.
