To ensure privacy of individual information in remote healthcare service, health data should be protected through a secure technology such as encryption scheme. Only user who delegated decryption right can access to sensitive health data and delegator needs capability for revocating access privilege. Recently, in ubiquitous environment, CP-ABTD(Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Threshold Decryption with Flexible Delegation and Revocation of User Attributes) which extends CP-ABE(Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption) has been proposed for these requirements. In this paper, we construct remote healthcare monitoring system with delegation and revocation capability for attribute in CP-ABTD. Finally, we analyze collusion attack between users in our system.
The advancement in ubiquitous healthcare specifically in preventive healthcare can lead to longer life expectancy especially for the elderly patients. To aid in preventing premature loss of lives as well as lengthening life span, this research aims to implement the use of mobile and wireless sensor technology to improve the quality of life and lengthen life expectancy. The threats to privacy and security have received increasing attention as ubiquitous healthcare applications over the Internet become more prevalent, mobile and universal. Therefore, we propose Context-aware Service of U-Healthcare Application based Knowledge using Ontology in secure health information exchange. This research also applies ontology in secure information exchange to support knowledge base, context modeling, and context reasoning by applying the general application areas for ontologies to the domain of context in ubiquitous computing environments. This paper also demonstrates how knowledge base, context technologies, and mobile web services can help enhance the quality of services in preventive ubiquitous healthcare to elderly patients.

With the advancement of ubiquitous computing technology, u-Healthcare (i.e. ubiquitous health care), is regarded as a key application for information society, which provides health management service at anytime in anywhere. To implement U-Healthcare system, it is essential to monitor stable biological information in daily life. In this paper, we proposed a small size, light weight, patch type real time temperature monitoring system based on wireless sensor network (WSN) technology to monitor patients' body temperature without any inconvenience of activity.
With the help of fast growing popularization of internet, all areas of e-Health have expanded rapidly; such that people have become interested in digital personal health record and its management. This paper examined the characteristics of personal health record and made the analysis of the structure of Google Health, the internet-based personal health record system. Google Health allows you to store and manage all of your health information, import medical records from hospitals and pharmacies, share your health records, and explore online health services. This examples represents not only a significant change of current medical systems but also enables to estimate the future stream of it. As a result, this paper, in the areas of e-Health which will be expanded in various service areas, may give you a greater sense of importance of personal health record and will eventually provide more complemental structure of future personal health record through comparative studies on the strength and weakness of it.

Home healthcare system has lot of things to do for the integration with medical instruments in the sense of standardization. We will design and implement mobile healthcare system based on smart gateway thru adaptation of ISO/IEEE 11073, and HL7 standard. And also we are willing to research heart rate monitor, pulse-oxygen meter and ECG monitor in order to develop mobile healthcare system for medical appliance. We studied the connection of standard medical devices, i.e, continua health alliance under the Android 4.x Bluetooth HDP(Health Device Profile) environments. We also tried to implement healthcare system which can support diagnosis for healthcare provider and user based on HL7 standard.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the relationship between nursing professionalism and nursing intention for patients with emerging infectious diseases of nursing students who had experienced coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), with a focus on the mediating effect of e-Health literacy. Methods: The study surveyed 177 nursing students who had experienced COVID-19. The data were collected using self-reported questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS statistics 25.0, and the mediating effect was analyzed through the SPSS Process macro model 4. Results: Nursing professionalism (β=.26, p=.002) and e-Health literacy (β=.18, p=.021) were found to be significant predictors of nursing intention for patients with emerging infectious diseases. In addition, e-Health literacy partially mediated the relationship between nursing professionalism and nursing intention for patients with emerging infectious diseases. Conclusion: e-Health literacy was a mediating factor in the relationship between the nursing professionalism and nursing intention of nursing students for patients with emerging infectious diseases. In order to improve nursing intention of nursing students for patients with emerging infectious diseases, it is important to develop an education program that can enhance their e-Health literacy as well as nursing professionalism.
Due to the explosive growth of mobile application services, categorizing mobile application services is in need in practice from both customers' and developers' perspectives. Despite the fact, however, there have been limited studies regarding systematic categorization of mobile application services. In response, this study proposed a method for categorizing mobile application services, and suggested a service taxonomy based on the network clustering results. Total of 1,607 mobile healthcare services are collected through the Google Play store. The network analysis is conducted based on the similarity of descriptions in each application service. Modularity detection analysis is conducted to detects communities in the network, and service taxonomy is derived based on each cluster. This study is expected to provide a systematic approach to the service categorization, which is helpful to both customers who want to navigate mobile application service in a systematic manner and developers who desire to analyze the trend of mobile application services.
The development of information and communication technologies (ICT) and changes in medical services centering on daily life have ushered in an era of self-management through the smartphone health management app (mHealth). This study identified the factors affecting mHealth use among older adults with diabetes. A structured survey was conducted using online and offline channels for 252 older adults who were over 65 and had diabetes. The collected data were subjected to hierarchical multiple regression analyses, and subjective health status, e-health literacy, and interaction terms of social support were inputted to verify moderating effect. The main results of this study are as follows. First, mHealth use among older adults with diabetes was higher in the male, type 2 diabetes, and younger age groups. Second, the higher was the e-health literacy, the higher was the mHealth use. Third, a negative moderating effect of social support was found in the relationship between subjective health status and mHealth use. We expect this study to provide researchers and managers interested in mHealth and older adults with diabetes, with valuable theoretical and practical implications. Furthermore, this study contributes to improving mHealth use among older adults with diabetes and building a digitally inclusive society.
Mobile healthcare apps should be paid more attention not just as software, but also as significant health information providers. We examine the impact of psychological factors (e,g., instrumental efficacy, informational efficacy, health information orientation, playfulness, and responsiveness) on intention to continuous use of mobile healthcare apps. Based on an expanded technology acceptance model (TAM II), this study examined the effects of psychological factors influencing the usage of mobile healthcare apps. The results showed that informational efficacy and instrumental efficacy influenced intention to use through perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Playfulness influenced intention to continuous use directly as well as indirectly through perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Health information orientation and responsiveness influenced intention to continuous use through perceived usefulness. This study suggests the need for adopting instrumental, informative perspectives and playfulness in contemporary health research and production of mobile healthcare apps.

The purpose of this study is to provide evidence for discovering functional materials through the anti-inflammatory efficacy screening of randomly selected medicinal herbs. We prepared 70% ethanol extracts from 10 herbs and evaluated for the inhibitory effect of NO production on LPS-stimulated mouse macrophage cell line Raw 264.7. As a result, it was confirmed that the Chrysanthemi Zawadskii Herba (CZ) extract had the highest effect of inhibiting NO production induced by LPS. We therefore measured and compared NO inhibitory effects at different concentrations (10, 50, 250 ㎍/mL) of 70% ethanol and water extract of CZ. It was observed that both ethanol and water treatment groups inhibited NO production in a concentration-dependent manner in both ethanol and water treatment groups. In particular, it was confirmed that the CZ 70% ethanol extract (99.97%) had a higher NO inhibitory effect than the water extract (93.32%) in the high concentration (250 ㎍/mL) treatment group. There was no effect of CZ extract on cell viability at all concentrations used in the experiment. Moreover, it was shown that CZ ethanol extract remarkably inhibited the expression of VCAM-1 induced by TNF-𝛼, and it was slightly decreased even by treatment with water extract. This study suggests that Chrysanthemi Zawadskii Herba has potential as a functional substance that regulates vascular inflammation.
