The aim of this research is to propose new framework for taxonomy of various business and its concept. due to the changes in market space. This framework is three-dimension cubic model based on three concepts, business layer(BL), value chain(VC), and Real/Virtual(R/V) that symbolizes real environment and virtual (or cyber) space. We showed that this framework is able to describe all expected(or existed) business types in certain industry by the combinations of BL-VC-R/V on three dimension. In addition, we suggested new definition of e-business and e-Logistics from view of BL-VC-R/V. In order to test availability of framework, this framework was applied for logistics related business, and we classified typical business types existed (or expected) in logistics area.

워크플로우 관리시스템(Workflow Management System)은 업무 프로세스를 실행하기 위해 사전에 정의된 룰에 따라 태스크들을 수행하는 시스템으로, 프로세스 정의를 interpreter하고 워크플로우 참석자들과 상호작용하며 해당 응용 프로그램을 invoke할 수 있는 시스템이다. 정의된 업무를 수행하기 위해서는 사전에 프로세스 정의 및 모델링이 필요하다. 프로세스 모델링이란 조직의 목표 달성을 위해 다양한 비즈니스 규칙에 의해 정의된 상호연관이 있는 작업들의 수행과정을 정의하는 것으로 본 논문에서는 업무 프로세스를 모델링하고 관리하기 위한 비즈니스 프로세스 모델링 도구를 설계하고 구현하였다.

B2B registries provide spaces to register and retrieve information which is necessary to support B2B transactions among business partners or potential business partners. Business process specifications are one of important contents in B2B registries, and there is high complexity of representation due to complex and dynamic characteristics of business processes. Also, currently there exist several competing specification frameworks such as ebXML BPSS, WSBPEL, BPMN, and so on. This paper proposes a metadata schema to register business process specifications which are represented by different specification frameworks. The proposed schema has extensibility to register business process specifications which are represented by various different specification frameworks. Also, it extends reuse level from whole business specification processes to their components. To show the usefulness of the proposed schema, this paper demonstrates metadata extraction from business process specifications which are represented by two representative XML-based business process specification languages, ebXML BPSS and WSBPEL.

인터넷 및 웹 응용 서비스 프로그램의 확산은 기업의 비즈니스 환경을 급격하게 변화시키고 있다. 또한 기업들은 다양한 e-비즈니스의 창출을 통해서 보다 나은 고객 서비스의 제공과 기업의 생산성 향상을 꾀하고 있다. 이러한 요구사항에 부합하며 제시된 기업 정보화 지원 솔루션 중 하나가 e-비즈니스 응용 프로그램 통합 (이하 eAI)이다. 기존에도 다양한 형태의 응용 프로그램 통합이 추구되었지만 대부분의 경우 기업 내부의 응용 프로그램들을 통합하는 수준이었다. eAI는 기존 EAI(Enterprise Application Integration)와 B2Bi(Business-to-Business Integration)를 하나로 통합한 시스템으로, 통합 대상을 기업 내부에 머무르지 않고 기업 외부의 응용 프로그램까지 포함한다. 즉 eAI는 기업 내ㆍ외부의 상이한 플랫폼 상에 산재되어 있는 복수의 응용 프로그램 및 비즈니스 프로세스를 효율적으로 통합해 기업 정보화의 효과를 극대화하는 것을 지원하는 솔루션이라고 정의할 수 있다.

In recent, workflow technology has been spotlighted in the literature, according for e-business processes and their automations to be taken important and essential parts into account in the enterprise information processing environment, because the workflow technology ought to be an impeccable solution for automating the e-business processes. When we analyze and model e-business processes in an enterprise, it is very important to verify and validate the e-business processes before they are deployed on the real business environment. Especially, it should be very worthy for the verification and validation work to be done by a kind of graphical visualization approaches. This paper propose a business process enactment animator implemented by Java Technologies. And it supports WPDL(Workflow Process Definition Language) as well as XPDL(XML-Based Process Definition Language), both of which are the standard specification language by WfMC that is the international standardization organization for Workflow Technology.

A Business Process Management System(BPMS) requires transaction management to guarantee reliability for transactions. Though several transaction protocols have been suggested for the transaction management, the difference of transaction protocols interrupts interoperability among transaction management systems. In this paper, a business process transaction based on semantics is suggested. It is defined based on the static semantics and the operational semantics. As the static semantics defines the ontologies for transaction states and transaction messages using Web Ontology Language(OWL), it solves the difference of expression for the concepts of transaction protocols. As the operational semantics defines state transitions of business process transactions using Abstract State Machine(ASM), it can guarantee formalism for transaction operations. The operational semantics refers to the state ontology and message ontology defined in the static semantics. This approach can enhance interoperability among various transaction protocols, increase the understandability for the transaction protocols, and support autonomous transaction execution and systematic transaction monitoring.

e-비즈니스 환경 하에서 전자적 데이터 교환 또는 WEB을 이용한 비즈니스 트랜잭션 처리를 통해 산업 부분별 자동화나 정보화가 활발히 진행되었다. 전자적으로 데이터를 처리함으로 인해 기존 오프라인을 이용한 비즈니스 환경 보다는 처리 속도나 처리 시간이 단축되었으며 비용도 많이 절감되었다. 그러나 점차 실시간적으로 데이터를 처리하거나 실시간적으로 화물에 대한 흐름을 추적하고자 하는 사용자들의 요구사항이 도출되기 시작하였다. 이에 RFID, USN 등의 유비쿼터스 개념과 기술을 이용한 u-비즈니스가 도입되어 각 분야에 활발히 적용되고 있다. 특히 유통이나 운송 등 물류 분야에 유비쿼터스 기술이 적용됨으로 실시간으로 데이터를 수집할 수 있어 화물의 흐름 추적을 용이할 수 있는 기반이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 비즈니스 환경에 적합하도록 EPC Global 표준에 따라 개발된 RFID 미들웨어를 항만 물류 비즈니스에 적용할 수 있는 비즈니스 모델을 정의하였다. 또한 정의한 비즈니스 모델을 항만 물류 분야에 적용한 사례와 적용 결과에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

As ubiquitous computing technology is proliferating, a wider range of u-services applying ubiquitous computing technology has been implemented and some of the u-services have been actively considered for commercialization. Accordingly, establishing corresponding business models based on u-services also have been increased. However, structured methodologies to build u-service business models are still in its very early age. Moreover, since most of the legacy business model formulation and analysis methodologies have stressed on conventional or digital services, not u-services. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a structured methodology of formulating and analyzing business models for u-services. An illustrative example is described to show the feasibility of the proposed methodology. To do so, Business Model Diagram (BMD), which adopts model components for u-services, is newly developed.

웹 서비스는 SOAP, WSDL, UDDI와 같은 표준을 통해 서비스를 기술하고 발견. 호출 할 수 있는 인터페이스들을 정의하고 있지만 서비스에 대한 테스트 방법들은 정의하지 않고 있으며 현재 대부분 웹 서비스 포탈을 통해 단순한 메타데이터 기반의 테스트가 수행되고 있다. 하지만 실제 웹 서비스를 이용한 e-비즈니스가 수행되기 위해서는 사용자들이 정말 자신이 원하는 서비스인지 테스트하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 웹 서비스 테스트를 보다 지능적으로 수행할 수 있도록 웹 서비스의 입력과 출력 정보에 시맨틱 정보를 추가하는 테스트 프레임워크를 제안한다 이러한 시맨틱 정보에 기반한 웹 서비스의 정확한 테스트를 통해 웹 서비스가 활성화되고 진정한 웹 서비스 기반의 e-비즈니스가 이루어질 수 있을 것이다.
