  • 오늘날 인터넷의 급격한 확산과 여러가지 서비스의 개발에 따라 사용되는 데이터의 포맷도 문자, 음성, 동영상등 다양한 형태의 멀티미디어 데이터로 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 이러한 다양한 형태의 가변 데이터를 ATM 망을 통해 서비스하기 위해서는 최소 대역폭을 보장하고 사용 가능한 대역폭을 동적으로 할당하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해 개선된 형태의 수정된 DFBA(Differential Fair Buffer Allocation) 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 최소 대역폭을 보장하면서 기존 방법의 단점인 공평성과 효율의 불균형을 해소시켜 효과적인 대역폭 관리를 하는 방안으로, 이의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 확인하였다.

  • In the present work, vibration analysis of high speed rotary bell cup model for paint atomizer application is carried out through numerical simulation. At first, eight bell cup models, considering four different cup shapes and two different cup diameters, are proposed and corresponding dynamic characteristics are investigated. To evaluate the operating stability, critical speed analysis is conducted using Campbell diagram and separation margin between operating speed and critical speed is identified. Unbalance vibration responses are also studied according to operating speed and balancing quality grade of G. Finally, the stability and adequacy of the proposed bell cup models are discussed for field application.

  • In this work, vibration characteristics of high speed rotary bell cup for paint atomizer are numerically investigated. New type of bell cup model is proposed and additional corresponding models with design parameter variations for length and diameter are constructed. Dynamic characteristics, such as natural frequencies and corresponding mode shapes, are studied for each model as a first step. To investigate operation stability, critical speed of rotary bell cup is numerically analyzed based on Campbell diagram and separation margin between operating speed and critical speed is identified. Unbalance vibration responses are also investigated with respect to design parameter variation, operating speed and balancing quality grade of G. Then the proper design guideline for stable operation of high speed rotary bell cup for paint atomizer is suggested.

  • This paper deals with the detail rotordynamic analysis for BB5 eight stages pump as development of API 610 BB5 type pump. Dry-run analytical model, not considering operating fluid, and wet-run analytical model, considering operating fluid are established. In addition, plain circular and pressure dam bearings are chosen and it was discussed that each bearing has an effect on dynamic characteristics of pump rotor system. A rotordynamic analysis includes the critical speed map, Campbell diagram, stability, and unbalance response. As results, it was predicted that rated speed of the pump rotor passes through 1st critical speed in dry-run condition regardless of bearings, however, it was verified that, in wet-run condition, the rotor system doesn't have critical speeds even if more than twice rated speed. Hence the resonance problem caused by the critical speeds does not happen since actual operating is in wet-run condition including operating fluid. As a result of unbalance response analysis, the pump rotor has stable vibration response at rated speed, regardless of operating fluid and the proposed bearing types.

Unbalance Control Strategy of Boost Type Three-Phase to Single-Phase Matrix Converters Based on Lyapunov Function

  • This paper analyzes the input side performance of a conventional three-phase to single-phase matrix converter (3-1MC). It also presents the input-side waveform quality under this topology. The suppression of low-frequency input current harmonics is studied using the 3-1MC plus capacitance compensation unit. The constraint between the modulation function of the output and compensation sides is analyzed, and the relations among the voltage utilization ratio and the output compensation capacitance, filter capacitors and other system parameters are deduced. For a 3-1MC without large-capacity energy storage, the system performance is susceptible to input voltage imbalance. This paper decouples the inner current of the 3-1MC using a Lyapunov function in the input positive and negative sequence bi-coordinate axes. Meanwhile, the outer loop adopts a voltage-weighted synthesis of the output and compensation sides as a cascade of control objects. Experiments show that this strategy suppresses the low-frequency input current harmonics caused by input voltage imbalance, and ensures that the system maintains good static and dynamic performances under input-unbalanced conditions. At the same time, the parameter selection and debugging methods are simple.

  • 물 분사 펌프는 심해 유정의 시추작업 후 유정 내 높은 압력으로 인하여 원유를 1 차 생산하고 이후 유정 내 압력이 낮아져 유정 자체의 압력 만으로 생산이 어려울 때 고압의 해수를 유정에 주입해 회수율을 높이는 해양플랜트에서 사용되는 핵심 기자재이며, 여러 기업에서 개발 중이다. 본 논문은 회전체의 동특성 을 분석하여 베어링 강성에 따른 고유진동수 변화분석, 운전속도 변화에 따른 고유진동수의 변화와 위험속도 분석, 안정성 평가, 불평형 응답을 통하여 변위와 틈새 관계 분석 등의 수학적 해석을 통하여 개발 중의 제품의 신뢰성에 기여하였다.

고감쇠 주축 시스템을 위한 베어링의 복합배열에 관한 연구 (A Combined Bearing Arrangement for High Damping Spindle Systems)

  • The machining accuracy and performance is largely influenced by the static, dynamic and thermal characteristics of spindle systems in machine tools, because the spindle system is a intermedium for cutting force from tool and machine powef from motor. Large cutting force and power are transmitted by bearing with a point or line contact. So, the spindle system is the static and dynamic weakest point in machine structure. For improvement of static stiffness of spindle system can be changed design parameters, such as diameter of spindle, stiffness of bearing and bearing span. But for dynamic stiffness, the change of the design parameters are not useful. In this paper, the combined bearing arrangement is suggested for high damping spindle system. The combined bearing arrangement is composed of tandem double back to back arrangement type ball bearins and a high damping hydrostatic bearing. The variation of static deflection and amplitude in first natural frequency is evaluated with the location of hydrostatic bearing between front and rear ball bearing. The optimized location of hydrostatic bearing for high static and dynamic stiffness is determined rapidly and exactly using the mode shape and transfer function of spindle. The calculation of damping effect on vibration by unbalance of grinding wheel and pulley in optimized spindle system is carried out to verify the validity of the combined bearing arrangement. Finally, the simulation of grinding process show that the surface roughness of workpiece with high damping spindle system is 60% better than with ball bearing spindle system.

고속철도차량용 차륜 불평형에 의한 동적 거동 특성 연구 (Study on the Dynamic Behavior Characteristics due to the Unbalance High Speed Railway Vehicle Wheel)

  • 회전체는 질량 중심선이 축의 기하학적 중심선과 일치하지 않을 때 불평형이 발생한다. 윤축은 두 개의 차륜과 한 개의 차축으로 조립되어 철도차량을 주행시키는 회전체 역할을 하고, 차륜 재질의 불균일, 마모, 윤축 조립과정의 오차 등으로 인해 불평형이 발생할 수 있다. 또한 윤축은 축의 직경이 가늘고 고속으로 회전함으로 불평형 질량에 의한 진동의 영향이 더욱 두드러지게 나타나고 이로 인해 철도차량 고속 주행 시 주행안전성 및 주행거동에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 차륜 불평형이 고속철도차량의 동적 거동에 미치는 영향을 철도차량 다물체 동역학 해석 도구인 VI-Rail를 이용하여 해석을 수행하였다. 해석결과에서 차륜 불평형량이 증가할수록 철도차량 대차의 임계속도가 감소됨을 확인할 수 있었고, 차륜 불평형량이 주행 중 차량동적거동 악영향을 미침으로 고속주행에서는 반드시 차륜 불평형량에 대한 관리가 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 이 연구로 차륜 불평형량의 정적 및 동적 관리 필요성을 국내 철도차량 운영기관에 제시하였다.

Adaline-Based Control of Capacitor Supported DVR for Distribution System

  • In this paper, a new control algorithm for the dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) is proposed to regulate the load terminal voltage during various power quality problems that include sag, swell, harmonics and unbalance in the voltage at the point of common coupling (PCC). The proposed control strategy is an Adaline (Adaptive linear element) Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and is used to control a capacitor supported DVR for power quality improvement. A capacitor supported DVR does not need any active power during steady state because the voltage injected is in quadrature with the feeder current. The control of the DVR is implemented through derived reference load terminal voltages. The proposed control strategy is validated through extensive simulation studies using the MATLAB software with its Simulink and SimPower System (SPS) toolboxes. The DVR is found suitable to support its dc bus voltage through the control under various disturbances.

  • This paper presents the dynamic characteristics of r rotor-bearing system supported by an actively controlled hydrodynamic journal bearing. The proportional, derivative and integral controls are adopted for the control algorithm to control the hydrodynamic journal bearing with an axially groove. Also, the cavitation algorithm implementing the Jakobsson-Floberg-olsson boundery condition is adopted to predict cavitation regions in the fluid film more accurately than conventional analysis, which uses the Reynolds condition. The speed at onset of instability of a rotor-bearing system is increased by both proportional and derivative control of the bearing. The integral control has no effect on stability characteristics of hydrodynamic journal bearing. The PD-control is more effective than proportional or derivative control. Results show the active control of bearing can be adopted for the stability improvement of a rotor-bearing system.
