피혁염색폐수의 색도저감을 위한 오존, 오존/과산화수소 2단 공정에 관한 연구: D 산업폐수처리장 사례연구 (A Two-Stage Process, $O_3$ and Subsequent $O_3/H_2O_2$, for Effective Color Removal from Leather-Dyeing Wastewater: Case Study in the D Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant)

  • 본 연구에서는 오존과 오존/과산화수소 공정을 단독공정과 연속공정으로 각각 적용하여 피혁염색폐수의 색도 저감을 평가하였다. 오존 단독공정에서 색도 저감율은 65%였고, 오존 농도가 40 ~ 50 mg/L 이상으로 주입되면 오히려 색도가 증가하는 경향을 나타냈다. 반면에 오존/과산화수소 공정에서는 과산화수소 주입율을 오존 질량 대비 0.2와 0.3비율로 하였을 때, 색도의 증가 없이 완벽히 제거되었다. 비록 과산화수소의 주입이 색도 저감을 증가시키지만, 초기오존 소모량 구간에서는 과산화수소를 주입하여도 오존 단독 공정과 색도 저감율에서 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론적으로, 1단계에서 오존 단독공정으로 오존 소모량을 만족시켜주고 (30 ~ 40 mg/L), 그 이후에 과산화수소를 주입 하여 오존/과산화수소 연속 공정을 적용하는 것이 본 피혁 염색폐수의 색도 저감에 가장 효과적인 공정으로 평가되었다.

  • The textile wastewater discharged from printing and dyeing processes is characterized by high chemical oxygen demand(COD), low biochemical oxygen demand(BOD), and heavy color. The release of dyes into the environment constitutes only small proportion of water pollution, but dyes are visible in small quantities due to their brilliance. In this study, We are investigated to optimization of Ozone Oxidation process for Decolorization.

  • In order to treat the dyeing wastewater, the UV/TiO₂/H₂O₂ system was investigated, and proper pretreatment methods were examined to reduce the load on the system considering economical and technical efficiency. The results of this study were as follows: 1.UV/TiO₂/H₂O₂ system with pretreatment process was adopted, the result of Chemical coagulation and pH control units was pH 11→ coagulation → pH 4 and the optimum dosage of FeCl₃ was 600㎎/ℓ 2. Proper dosage of TiO₂in the UV/TiO₂/H₂O₂ system with pretreatment process was 2g/ℓ and H₂O₂ was 1000㎎/ℓ, UV contact time was 20min to get below 200㎎/ℓ of $COD_{Cr}$

호기성 공동대사작용에 의한 판지폐수처리 - 현장 적용 테스트 - (The Treatment of Box-mill Wastewater Using Aerobic Cometabolism Process - Practical Plant Test -)

  • This study aims at developing the practical technology in the treatment of box-mill wastewater using the aerobic co-metabolism principle. The conventional activated sludge method exhibited the removal efficiency of $TBOD_5$ and $TCOD_{Mn}$ as 30~50% and 40~50%, respectively. Color was rather increased by 30~130% because the conventional treatment under the aerobic condition did not induce the conversion of molecular structure of dyeing agents. Meanwhile, when the aerobic co-metabolism principle was applied to the same wastewater, the removal efficiency of $TBOD_5$ and $TCOD_{Mn}$ were obtained as 92~97% and 90~94%, respectively. In particular, color was significantly reduced down to 65~85%. The enhancement of treatment efficiency was ascribed to occur not only that the non-degradables were converted to the second substrates, but also that the enzyme activity was increased as MLVSS was kept 3000mg/l or more with the first substrates injected.

분해탈기법에 의한 염색폐수 중의 고농도 질소 제거에 관한 연구 (Removal of High Strength Nitrogen in Dyeing Wastewater by Decomposition-Air Stripping Process)

  • Total nitrogen is a major pollutant which mostly causes eutrophication and red tide. Wastewater effluent from printing of cotton-viscose rayon containing high concentrations of total nitrogen can not be effectively treated with a typical biological treatment process. This paper provides a new treatment process and experimental results for the removal of high strength nitrogen from dyeing wastewater. The optimum conditions of air stripping for the removal of total nitrogen include around pH 12, temperature $60^{\circ}C$ with 60 minutes of stripping time. In case of a filtration-air stripping process, an initial level ($500mg/{\ell}$) of total nitrogen was significantly reduced to below $60mg/{\ell}$. Deconite was synthesised for further decomposition of organic nitrogen. Thus, a filtration-decomposition-air stripping process was possibly achieved, by which a high level ($900mg/{\ell}$) of total nitrogen was effectively removed to below $60mg/{\ell}$ P. Finally, a continuous new process for the removal of total nitrogen is proposed and confirmed, based on batch experimental results, and its process validity is further discussed throughout.

담체를 이용한 염색폐수의 생물학적처리

  • 4종의 각 개별균주와 6가지 2균주조합별 실험을 실시한 결과 개별균주의 경우 평균 15%로 낮은 COD제거율을 보였다. 2균주조합의 경우는 NAR3A와 NBY3A가 50.3%로 가장 우수하게 나타났으며 평균 34.9%의 제거율을 보였다. 이러한 제거율은 단일균주에 비해 약 20%향상된 수치로서 단일균주 보다는 2균주조합에 의한 것이 보다 효율적인 것으로 나타났다. 반월의 염색단지 내 폐수처리장의 폐수를 이용하여 실험한 결과 거의 비슷하게 낮은 색도제거율을 나타냈다. 이는 본 연구에 이용된 균주의 경우 단일염료의 색도를 제거하는 실험에 의해 선별되어 다양한 성상의 염료가 함유되어 있는 실제폐수의 염료를 분해하기 힘들었기 때문이다. COD제거의 경우는 비교적 우수한 효율을 나타냈다.

복합응집제를 이용한 염색가공 폐수의 처리 (Treatment of Dye-Processing Wastewater with Complex Chemical Coagulants)

  • This study provides the optimal conditions treating with the coagulation process and the other chemical treatment processes for dyeing wastewater, especially various dyeing complex wastewater. The results are shown as follows: 1. Optimum reaction condition of pH for ferrous sulfate was the range of 9 to 12. And when 3,000ppm(mg/l) of ferrous sulfate was dosed, the maximum $COD_{Mn}$ removal rate was approximately 40%. 2. In case of ferrous chloride and Bittern as coagulants, optimum pH range was 10 to 11. And maximum $COD_{Mn}$ removal rate was approximately 46% to 50% for dose of 2,000ppm(mg/l) to 6,000 ppm. 3. It is confirmed that the activated sludge process following coagulation precipitation method provides better treatment efficiency than the coagulation precipitation method following the activated sludge process. 4. The purpose of this study was to produce CGF (Cyanoguanidineformaldehyde resin) by organic compounds. 5. The complex coagulation agent by this study is the most economical coagulant with Alum(aluminum sulfate) and the removal efficiency is approximately 54% with 1,000ppm(mg/l) of pH range 6 to 7.

일욕 정련 염색에 따른 정련성 및 염색성 연구 (A Study on the Scouring Effect and Dye-ability of Cotton Scoured and Dyed in A Single-bath)

  • The advantage of enzyme scouring over alkali scouring is that the enzymatic process can be carried in a neutral pH, resulting in less damage on the fibers and a drastic reduction of wastewater. Since the pH of scouring bath is neutral, dyeing can be carried in the same bath. Four different types of scouring and dyeing in a single-bath were performed in this work: continuous scouring and dyeing in one-bath I and II, simultaneous scouring and dyeing in one-bath I and II. The difference between process I and II is the existence of an after-treatment process in the scouring. Dyeing was performed with three major colors(red, blue, yellow) and black to investigate the dye-ability. The absorbency of scoured and dyed fabrics was measured using gravimetric absorbency testing system. The fabric weight loss was measured after the treatment. Although the color depth for the three major colored fabrics treated in a single-bath was lower than the fabric scoured and dyed separately, the fabrics dyed with black did not show much difference. In addition, the absorbency of fabric treated in a single-bath was higher than the fabric treated separately.
